    This app was good but I see it is losing quality. It happened to me that my order was not delivered and I couldn't reach them out on support chat. Even they took many days to reply to my mail and when they did, there was no resolution provided to me. It felt like it's in the hands of the Zomato valet wether he will deliver the order and there's not a damn thing customer can do if it doesn't happen.

    This app was a mainstay for several years for it's ease of use and sticking to what it was made for. I have to add that customer service has always been at a high standard. Sadly, it has become a youtube for food delivery. "Buy Pro to remove ads; check out this new restaurant; proceed with your order in 5...4...3..." It's absolutely ridiculous. Thankfully, there is one awesome thing about this app...it's not the only one that provides food ordering.

    It is a good app. But there are issues with changing address. Once an address is saved, it is very difficult to change it. And moreover, payment cards are saved automatically into the app without even asking the customer. That is what I hate the most about this app.

    Highly disappointing in terms of resolving customer issues. Participate in pro league bearing in mind that if you face an issue, help will only be promised, not provided. I placed an order to play in the league but despite being a pro member, I wasn't given an option to play. The customer support assured me that the issue would be resolved in the next 24 hrs. Next day they revised their statement saying it would take 48hrs. The contest ended, I lost my chance and my order was a complete waste

    The app is good, but do have some issues as well. I rate 1 star for very bad customer support service. It is more or less a joke as they never understand the issues and have standard answers. The chat bot is yet another joke which keeps you looping in useless options that you don't even want.

    The UI lags very much on a custom ROM. Can't type, can't search anything and can't open any restaurant's any menu without lag at any given time no matter the performance of the phone,it just lags. Can't even pay with this app. You can write a full sentence and it would take a minute to appear on a screen and making corrections while typing is also a hard task because you have to wait for the text to appear on the screen first.

    Great App, especially with the new features where I can toggle so easily between my orders from multiple places. Although I would be more happy if I get a notification of a restaurant is closing online ordering while I am adding items to my cart from that restaurant. Currently only during the payment it is notified and I was really disappointed as it took me a really long time to decide and I had to do over

    I had been using Zomato app since long time. Recent I had took Zomato pro membership. After taking membership with in 3-4 they had stopped my other offers . Which I am getting earlier ( before getting a pro membership ) but I had noticed that offer are showing to my friends . When I raised this issue to customer care executive . They simply turn off the chart . With out giving information. So please don't buy Zomato pro membership. They are just manipulating us..

    I'm dropping 2 stars extremely upset, i didn't understand why the app needs to be a hearing people oriented that they give preference to voice calls or voice message when giving some delivery instructions being a deaf and mute person, the messaging box was helpful for some days but now it has been removed kindly give equal respect for us to give delivery instructions by messaging and help us to help you too

    Many issues with Filter option. By default it's showing all the restaurant within 10-15KM. When we click a restaurant to order, it says restaurant doesn't deliver to your location. Moreover we hv another option to filter " restaurants deliver to your home", if you opt this option this will also give you the same results.

    This app should have half stars (.5) reason being, is that some places will get a higher rating than they should, and some lower. I'd like to rate an establishment 4.5, cuz perfect would just be nearly impossible, bringing their score to 4.0, for example. And forcing location services. Was a better app in the past for sure. I don't think the developers even care of the feedback. I think I'm talking to deaf ears.I'm sure they don't even read the reviews, cuz they don't care of making the app good

    The customer service chat is very difficult to navigate and it is almost impossible to chat about an issue that is not listed in the automated list, with an actual representative. Another very strange thing is that you can't chat about your current order only previous orders.

    For the past one week or more Zomato is not accessible using mobile network (for mine it's Airtel)... But working fine with WiFi connection.. Dev and testing team should focus on this issue.. redmi note 5 pro is my mobile device.. it's very disappointing that u guys didn't noticed or looked after this issue... Note: Am using the latest update of Zomato app ie, 9:42 pm IST October 05 2020... So it's not the update issue.. thanks

    I have uninstalled and install the updated version but there is no such option to upload my id for wine delivery , and this was happend to me and some more customer and the people seating on telephone and chat have no answer for the problem. This glitch deducted the delivery amount and wine is not deliver due to mismatch id ............worst app and irony is no one knows how to solve it......

    Would have given 5 stars, bu for 1) Valet movement is not updated on real time basis in the app and this causes inconveniences. This is not an issue with any random valet for his connectivity issues. The problem persists for all orders. Valet doesn't move at all on the map at times.

    They are conducting gambling offers in the app. if we buy something, we get a chance to pick which team will win in the ipl match of the day and if we right we get 100% cashback and if we lose we pay the amount. It is advertised as a match game and not gambling.

    The app works good. The UI might be overwhelming to new users. I don't like the fact that they had to change the app icon indicating that it's SAFE to use Zomato. Imagine going to your app drawer and you see a text on the app logo displaying SAFE. Why? It's so pointless and misleading in a way. The two stars are literally for this pointless update they just pushed.

    I liked the app till yesterday... As of today, there are only 41 restaurants that deliver to my area but sadly, it doesn't include the ones with a 10 km radius... Why? I can't even order from the places I have ordered before because the app says "does not deliver to your location" (even if it's practically next door)! Not sure what happened with the latest update, but if it continues, I will delete my account and unistall the app... Luckily there are other delivery apps out there.

    Good App but not the best. Earning Money is the key features of all business but by making fool to customer are not acceptable. I had found many restaurants who has put there personal menu photo's with pricing but while giving order online there price is increased by upto 20%. If we are ordering food through zomato we are paying extra price of upto 20% for all the items which we had ordered on zomato app plus Delivery charge & sometime Surge fee too. Making Fool to the customers.

    There is no proper support and commitment of cashbcks and promos. It's been more than 24 days, still my issue didn't get resolved. Chat agents have no knowledge and suddenly they will close chat window. It's very bad experience on chat. 😡😠

    Zero stars actually. Customer support doesn't work. The Zomato chat is setup with some set of answers but doesn't actually solve anything. It stops after few steps. No other way to connect with the customer support. Can't even get in contact with some proper customer service. Customer are expected to pay for their food but not have it. Just great. Ignorant Zomato !!

    Bug Report: your delivery boy live tracking is not working. Locations are not live updated. Probably because your delivery boys are granting gps permissions to the rider application only while using the app. This is a bug kindly fix it.

    Very good app for ordering food online, won't regret for this really, one disappointment is for example, if I'm ordering food for another person with some other address there is no option to add their contact number additionally nor alternatively, so how the delivery person will contact them directly, always I'm contacting the delivery person post ordering and giving the person contact number where to deliver exactly..

    Every time i use it I just get frustrated.. Let's say that I wasn't eat in Bondi and I am in Abbotsford.. I try to point on the map and it just doesn't work. Or if I want vegetation restaurant it's again is very hard.. Clunky app I will look for something better

    Good for table reservations and finding out the best restaurants near your area. I just don't like the process of cancelling your booking, it's time consuming that we need to chat with an agent first to have it cancelled. Should just have a cancel button.

    Support is not good. Plus, I bought gold and then the terms were changed i guess just after a month or two of purchase. So unfair to the customers and so less that customers do about it as everything is covered under the so called terms and conditions. Anyways it is what it is, but the funny part is they still want people to sign up for the gold membership 😂

I liked it because when I ordered from dominos it said we doesn't deliver to your address and it took a lot of my time.But when I saw the ad of Zomato on YouTube I installed the app I ordered my pizza in no time it served me a fast delivery.     Ordering from Zomato is an adventure every time. They chuck out new updates almost every month, which is great, except they COMPLETELY redesign the UI from the ground up, so that you need to learn how to use the new version. Oh and their delivery reviews are broken. I cannot seem to review one of my deliveries, it just ends up sending me to my order summary with no review option anywhere.

    Otp time is too less incase we order for our friends by the time we call them or they give us the otp pin for a friends number it goes off. 30 seconds should be increased a minute or 2 min the code should be valid for ordering for another number. Otherwise the app is good.

Why can't the system handle high traffic during weekends and provide it's valet a clear information about the "DELIVERY-ON-TIME" strategy. And servers won't even connect if we try other than the ideal scenarios. Pathetic 😑

    This App is crazy. Horrible to use. One moment it shows the restaurants, the very next moment it says "currently not accepting orders"! Then suddenly it shows accepting orders and then again within 5 mins "not accepting". Seriously, what is up with you guys?

    Why are we paying for Zomato Gold or Pro as you call it these days? Most of the times the "additional 30% discount" that you keep displaying doesn't work. It keeps giving error once the promo code is applied. So end of the day, I am as good as non-pro customer? Is this some sort of trick? Also, if the restaurant delivers wrong items of less price, you are not replying to the customers for the refund. No body responds to the emails sent with screen shots. Where are the ethics gone?

    The app is really good and easy to use also has a wide range of options on it with suitable suggestions.. The only thing i dont like is they take too much delivery fee like if ur order is for 200 they'll take 75 delivery fee, they should manage that and also i found some of my order were not up to the mark the restaurant has sent tasteless dishes which weren't fresh even though this doesn't happen very often bt they should take care of it, because they r doing great in all other stuff.

    Your app has an issue with the location, inspite of updating the correct address it still shows an incorrect address to the valet and the poor valet has to suffer searching the location. I really feel bad for them.

    I use to use zomato almost exclusively. I've now swapped to deliveroo in the uae. The latest update makes you watch an add prior to browsing resteraunts. You have to buy their premium zomato gold to skip the add. Too many delivery options out there that I dont have to deal with incoviences like this.

    The chat option has been disabled by the zomato. They have initiated the BOT which replies but doesnt let you chat with a customer service representative. Every time i order something and if the delivery is late and i tries to contact the customer service representative, a message comes we are having a lot of inflow of queries, please send us the email and we will look into. I mean if i need an immediate response, they are asking me to send an email and then wait for 24 to 48 hours 4 dr response

Chat support is unhelpful and there is no other option for complaint. I'm uninstalling this app. There are many similar apps available with good customer service.

    I cannot give some one else's phone number as it will send Otp to that number for verification and there is no column to enter phone number with address. This very stupid as I cannot surprise any one if I want to. If it is cash on delivery I can understand but for online payment why is verification required.

    The service is good. However, there is a problem with the location input. Zomato, if you're reading this then please correct it. The location pin is always different than the address provided. This always creates a confusion with the delivery person and we have call them and tell the right location. Please do the needful!

    Its a good app but recent update has brought in some kind of auto-playing video ads or something which results in an abrupt pause of my favourite deadmau5 track. This is unacceptable. Joel himself would be offended with this kind of tom foolery. Please fix this, because as unbelievable as it may sound, I prefer to listen to some good music instead of listening to a random elevator style music themed video ad. Thank you.

    This app was good but now they charges too much almost double the price... I ordered from a1 chef food an amount of 1300 but my personal visit to hotel gave me a shock the same menu i ordered and amt was 480... Butter chicken real cost 180 Zomato charge 250 + taxes + delivery charge which comes to 390 so for 180 i m paying 390.. .. 2nd incident.. From preeti hotel i took 5 mendu vada 2 masala dosa n 2 mysore masala cost was 480 but in Zomato it showed 990 double the price... Waste of money

    I had this issue twice till now, where the app mention that i can't order from a certain branch which looks closer to my location from another branch. And when i order from the farther branch i get a call after 30 minutes saying that they don't deliver to my location and i should have order from the branch Zomato mentioned that they don't deliver to my location. So piece of advise, if you doubt the app grab your phone and call the nearest branch

    I have been using this app since long. One bad experience in every order is the delivery person never comes to our location accurately in spite of accurate address. Thinking of location issues once I had followed delivery boy from restaurant till our delivery address. And that time as per zomato navigation it reached accurately. So basically the delivery persons are inefficient and also don't understand basic instructions which we tell them.

    Extremely well interface app...am sure you have improved with users feedback. Suggest you make a cart for later booking / ordering...food. Like you have in Amazon and snapdeal ect. In a cart park concept you don't have to remember the items for selection again.... However I don't understand Gold to Zomato Pro is it down grading the membership status....I asked Zomato, they say it's the same benefits we will get and we will get 40 to 50% discount...on overall bill. Need to see the final benefits.

    Experience is good. I recommend this over Swiggy which I find quite tedious to navigate even though they have a simpler UI. All payment methods including Sodexo are supported which is great. Customer satisfaction and response to queries or disputes is very fast thanks to the AI chatbot which predicts 99% of the time correctly about the problems I face. A truly refined product. A tip: get pro only if you order more than twice a month. Otherwise it is not financially worth it.

    The change from Zomato gold to pro is terrible. At one time gold allowed user to get a free item upto 300 but now with pro you are supposed to order a minimum of 300(majority is 500) to get a 20% off and after adding taxes and charges it's like getting a 100 off which is highly unattractive. And the timing is also so bad where during covid majority of orders are deliveries. No wonder people aren't using Zomato pro, even I order meal for one now to save money. Probably will shift to swiggy.

    Actually the app is good. Only the maps is delayed in the app. But the main thing is the food. The restaurants which are serving food are serving inferior quality food. And moreover they also cancel the order at their own will. Zomato have to suffer a lot because of these cheap restaurants.     Do NOT trust with your Credit Card or other payment details. They turned on auto renewal. No problem. Supposed to be not a big concern. I asked if my active paid subscription (valid for 12 more months) will be affected if I stop auto renewal. The chat representative confirmed that my 12 remaining months won't be affected but when I hit the button, it removed my Gold status. Again, supposed to be not a problem. I've politely asked for them to fix and revert the glitch. They-would-not-budge.

    This app is good to order. But sometimes restaurent names are similar and gets difficult to identify the correct one. It would be really helpful if restaurent details could be accessed through ordering portion as well. **revised the rating to 1*** Too many ads an notification added now, also their pro membership is not good for end user. Also to make sure it shows delivery on time, their delivery clocks adjusted automatically. What is wrong with the surge price for no reason.

    App is good, but I found it forced me to save my credit card details. It should allow me to use card without saving the card details for future purchases. One more issue, their customer care chatting is sometimes bluffing, as per my experience. When I asked them aboutmy food not delivered after 90 minutes of ordering, they offered me a coupon, which was never added to my account. Still I'm giving a five star for the service in general.

Not only that, your chat support has some amazing champions who find it perfectly okay to give a Gold customer a 1 hr run-around and forcibly close the chat from their end, not once, not twice but three times. All the while cursing under their breaths and wishing for the eyesore customer to quit on his own. But I didn't quit and they closed the chats on me three times within the span of 1 hr.

    The downgrade from gold membership to pro has just taken the main attractive thing about this app . It's useless to have a 20% discount on an order after paying for the membership . It's just not worth it. I would have happly paid more if you wanted guys increased the price of the membership rather than doing this.     Its a great idea of a platform - but that's where they've stopped, at the idea. The customer service is disappointing and useless. Most of the times they've got a passive aggressive stance with customers - if you don't like dealing with difficult situations you shouldn't be in customer service. The delivery - in short is pathetic. There's very few restaurants I've come across so far that care about delivering on time - others are completely carefree.

    The app is very good but from the past 2-3 weeks whenever i order food, the delivery personnel are just very irritating when delivering food saying that 'can u just give rating now like right now' .They don't stop stop until u give them the rating or u have to argue with them and then only they will stop and it just ruins the mood. They keep saying something about the 100 mtr rule or something so either remove this 100 mtr thing or tell the delivery personnel to stop nagging about the rating.

No matter what day or restaurant, whenever I go to pay for an order, it always says that sorry, this restaurant has closed online ordering. This is happening only to me, rest of my friends are able to use their membership. On your agent's advice, I uninstalled the application and reinstalled it, but the same thing is happening and despite assurance that it'll be escalated to higher authorities, nothing has happened !

    Used to be a good app earlier. Food is cheaper if you go to the restaurant or order from them directly. Shows restaurants out of the normal delivery radius first on the list and then charge a distance fee. As soon as it starts drizzling or light rain surge charge is added. Zomato pro feature for just a 10% discount on delivery? Who needs a membership for that now? Like seriously finding more ways to charge the customer is not working.

While using payment through online bank transfer, once the window is closed to view the OTP, the payment window to key in the OTP cannot be opened again.     Registered for the account, purchased the pro membership without problem, but once i wanted to use the benefit, they told me i have to register my number. Tried the OTP verification to no avail, tried up to 3 different numbers, nothing. Try again the next day, still nothing. Reinstalled the app, still failed. Emailed the zomato, only automated response, been more than 2 weeks and still no response. Hi dev, i have emailed you 3 times including yesterday right after i submitted this review.
