Waveform Generator Demo is a DEMO version of a complete waveform generator that fits inside your pocket! Use it to test your measurement equipment, apply signals as input to your electronic circuits. It doesn't end with electronic applications though. Use it to map the resonance pattern of a room, to calibrate a microphone setup or just to annoy your friends!

The pro version features all important functions of a real waveform generator. The Lite version is here for you to see if you like our user interface and on the fly generation features. If you like what you see, consider buying the pro version. Now the lite versions frequency limit for sine waves has been removed!

Features:

-Friendly user interface: Similar to well-known professional hardware waveform generators.

-On the fly generation: No need to pause and restart the signal in order for changes to take effect!

-Sine, Square, Triangle and Saw waves

-Frequency Range: 1 Hz - 22050* Hz

-Amplitude control

-Preview waveform

-Save/Load waveform to/from internal memory, one slot (infinite slots in Pro)

-Request your own feature

-App2SD Support

Pro Features:

-Random Noise: White (Gaussian), Pink, Brown

-AM (DSB and DSB-SC) / FM with Modulation Freqency and Level control

-Sine Sweep with Repeat and Ping-Pong selection

-Infinite Save/Load slots

*Quality of high frequency waveforms might vary across devices.

Nice UI but needs independent dual channel feature. Add that in and I will buy it.

Huge battery drain. After using it remained running...

This particular generator was just what I was looking for to play with various wave forms for an R&D project. Great Job! I love the interface!

Guess I'll wait and see if the app gets written. Right now, only the graphics work. Nice idea though.

Awful user interface, mimics manually-operated equipment, I guess for old people who can't figure out touchscreens? Crashes when the screen rotates. Free apps do more, so what's the point?

You can use this to recreate the first few notes in the theme tune (which were made in a very similar way in the original version in 1963 - Just with the analog hardware equivalent). Also the next notes (though they were made in a slightly different method - Flat tones faded in-between each other, with tremolo applied). So it's time you get those oooWEEEEOOOOOOOOOOs going, isn't it?

The "lite" is a useless teaser that irritated me enough to come back and b1tch prior to installing. What's the point of a free version if it just begs? I don't care if the paid version does my laundry and attracts women, I'm not even considering it.

There's a hell of a lot of noise at higher frequencies, you need to buffer the wave into the DSP, not play it straight from the processor. And the dial interface is annoying to use.

They dont give u enough options to make a clear decision if u like it or not. To many buttons telling u to upgrade. 10 buttons and 9 of them ask say not available in this version. If ur not gonna let anyone try it then why even post jackass!!?

This app helped me identify the frequency of the high-pitched noise coming from a machine, hinting directly to a broken filter - possibly a capacitor. When you know the approx. frequency that isn't filtered, you know the approx. capacity of the broken element, hence narrow down your search. @Omegatron, just because you don't have any use for it, doesn't mean you should rate it badly (or rate it at all, for that matter).
