exactly how accurate is this supposed to be? I went for a walk out in the neighborhood and after I got home I compared my Samsung health app to this one and your app had counted last than 12% of my steps out of a little over 3000. I'll gladly change the rating after you've fixed your apps counting rate to at least match a proper pedometer.

was a five star, now changing to 3 star. the app only converts half (or less) of my steps. and I have already changed any settings that may have been screwing with my steps. also contacted the company twice and got no response. also every product you can buy with your sweatcoin that I'm interested in, tends to be for USA users only. other than that the concept of the app is great and really had motivated me to walk more than I did before. hopefully they can improve the app in the future

No real prizes, just a very small limited amount of discount choices then $1000 worth of money for over 2 years of getting 10 sweatcoin a day... At least put in more prizes, some free and even more discounts for other more popular sites... such as ebay and amazon for example. And "medium" prizes would be good where you can purchase with around 100-200 sweat coin

I believe that everyone is working their areas to make the grid better. It takes a year but I suppose nobody unless they walk everyday somewhere like their job and then after a dog walk out or a solo walk out will they ever get the iPhone unless they we're gifted coins. Super intelligent concept to get this framework called the grid built. Like Data from Star Trek, you can ask anything. I love this app because then I have a record of what I have done for fitness and it helps me to be conscious.

I am not terribly impressed just yet. app seems to stop running in the background. just went for a run and realized it did not record 14000 steps since it turned off prior to the run. Not certain if I should manually start it each time before a workout...seems to defeat the purpose of something tracking you in the background and requiring little other input. Also count as me as another user who wants Garmin integration for steps. I wear my Garmin watch more than my phone!

I have tested this right now and walked with my Fitbit as well. I made a total of 2,300 steps walking on our highway, but the app is showing 500. I understand that you are able to detect 65% of the steps on an average as per FAQ, so I should be close to 800+ instead. Also, do I need to have the phone handheld and upright? It's as if it doesn't run on the background even if I have given the app all the necessary access. I hope someone clarifies.

I dont trust force stopping from my phone app settings page. Could make the app disfunctuonal. Just wish you could turn off the app and on when you want. Battery Saving mode doesnt give me enough assurance that its preserving my battery. I think the solution would be to just sync with your Google Fit account since that app keeps track of your steps in the background perfectly, and kind of like Pokemon GO, sync when I launch the app. I dont need my batery dying on me during desperate times!

App is nice and easy to use, clean layout and is a cool idea. However, to achieve the iPhone, PayPal voucher or klm flights I would need to make 20 million steps (if it records every single one), at an average of 1.5m per stride that's 30,000kms and at my average steps per day of around 6,000 it would take me 7 years... 😂 Aint nobody got time for that

This app initially worked really well for me. It was fairly accurate on the steps and I was accruing coins rapidly. Then last week, while accurately recording steps, it didn't convert any to coins, and I mean 10,000 steps per day. I contacted customer support several times and sent screen shots of the sweatcoin step count, as well as my Fitbit totals. Each reply was the same, unfortunately I was already doing everything they said. No satisfaction.

So far, it is more a neat idea that anything exciting in the implementation. I just ran 6 miles outside and this app recorded 386 steps. The prizes are very limited and mostly geared toward women, with many of them costing a high number of coins. Combine that with inaccurate step counts, and then the conversion rate being low (about 20 to 50% of steps actually get counted toward coins), and the app is more like a promising future than a current delight. I haven't decided if I will keep it.

Well, I think the app tracks the steps pretty accurately, but the main problem is the verification system. I'll go for a walk and gain about let's just say 1000 steps, I read how the algorithm works, and it says it counts about 65% of the steps. So I should get around 400-700 verified steps, right? No, for 1000 steps you only really get around 10 - 30 verified steps. I would probably rate maybe a four if this feature was made better.

it is amazing! I walk around for a living, today I broke my record of 21,000 steps. it's amazing to have sweatcoin reward me on top of just doing my job. I just bought a new pair of sunglasses at 50% off plus another 20$ off the purchase price. I can not give enough praise.

if our phones can more accurately record our steps and know the difference between walking and biking then it is rather simple to create that algorithm and their excuse is just them playing a game and not validating all your steps. first month it was great and recorded almost all steps and it got me excited. After that there has been a steep downfall and I hardly get 100 steps recorded when I walk miles a day in the city. Dont waste your time, also, pretty sure this app gave my phone a virus.

This doesn't work. The algorithm is so stingy that I hardly ever get verified steps, and I'm talking about outside steps. And obviously the real reward is getting physical activity in your day, but this would be a great motivator. But since it doesn't actually work, I might as well just use any other pedometer or pedometer app. Really cool concept but the execution needs work.

Sweat coins really works like it os intended to do. I test alot of apps out to see of they are working as they imply. I can say for sure this app does what it is intended to. it doesnt freeze up as some do. The calibrations are very accurate. The intentions of getting people healthier is remarkable. Great job on this one. Love it!!! I have recommended it too many friends and family.

Conversion rate is despicable, even after doing every suggestion to improve. I will walk outside for over 2,000 steps minimum every day on the same route and receive anywhere from 6 cents to 40 cents. What a waste of time and energy. Please work with fitbit and other companies to sync with trackers ASAP and it will for sure be a 5 star app.

Good in theory but the algorithm is SEVERLY broken, the app identified that I had taken 2k steps playing a pickup basketball game which would normally translate to 2sweat coins, instead I got 0.24 because my location did not drastically change. Just give us our steps!!! Who cares if people are cheating!?

This is a very cool idea what this company is doing. it gets people moving and stay active to receive sweatcoins. I finally purchased my first item today, and it seems they are finally starting to partner with other brands out there. The reason for me giving it 4 stars is because the sweatcoin conversion isn't entirely pretty good, but it's decent enough. A problem I do have is the majority of my day in school, I walk around 3 miles and only a small amount gets converted do to no cell service.

Sweatcoin is a great way to drain your phone's battery, but not much else. Over the course of 6 months I earned the equivalent of $7.50 based on current, realistically obtainable redemption options. My battery would be left at about 20% compared to 60% without the app after 8 hours unplugged. I don't own a car and walk or take transit everywhere. $0.04 a day isn't worth having a phone battery only carrying half the charge thanks to this app.

There is this thing that when you follow a friend, you get $5, ut when I followed my cousin, I didn't get anything. There's also an everyday reward in wich the 1st day you can get $1, and the following day you will get twice as much as the last day but when I try to claim it, my sweatcoins doesn't add up. You really have to fix that problem.
