Allows the app to get your precise location using the Global Positioning System (GPS) or network location sources such as cell towers and Wi-Fi. These location services must be turned on and available to your device for the app to use them. Apps may use this to determine where you are, and may consume additional battery power.

control vibration

In-App billing
In-app Billing on Google Play provides a straightforward, simple interface for sending In-app Billing requests and managing In-app Billing transactions using Google Play.

Very good app. Thanks to constant updates and iterations now has excellent tracking and very low battery consumption. As a total percentage of power consumed my phone's estimate puts it at around 1-2%. Good promotions, offers and discounts available to purchase with coins earned, and some really good mixed choices for good causes to support.

I really like this app but it is not working. I am always recommending this app all the time. My steps are being counted but not converted. I have ensured that I have the app is not being optimized or killed. I have paid for my membership. The app has not been working the last couple of updates. Update it's now working properly again. Thank you for fixing.

Really disappointed. Doesn't convert steps properly. I've tried all the tips but often have to uninstall and reinstall. Often lose the 2x bonus boost. No helpful feedback from emails! Been collecting coins for years but feel cheated of a lot of steps/coins. 7/4 Yet again their feedback is of no help. I have checked all the battery saving settings and have the latest version but the step counter is rubbish. So many less steps than Google or fitbit!!!

All of a sudden, the app doesn't give coins for your steps. Over 3,000 steps while walking with my GPS on and it gave 1 coin. Befor the last update that would have been about 20 coins. The update clearly was a downgrade and it will be impossible to accru enough coins to trade in for anything. My app is up to date, battery saver isn't on, and nothing is blocking it fromnworking properly

I'm thinking about removing this app. Too many times it suddenly stops counting and I literally have to restart my phone for it to work again. Never used to happen, now it happens all the time... A bit cruel when you walk a lot during work and want to check how much sweatcoins you only to see a big fat zero. Also why do I feel like I'm being scammed? I'll give away my coins and move on. Edit: there is no advanced option in my settings...

I walk and forget about it! I use this app alone with the fit bit app and everything stays accurate. Definitely would recommend this app! The prizes are great too! Not impossible to achieve and great prices when it comes to discounts!!

Everything was great, till I had to uninstall the app. Upon reinstall I can not sign back in with email used, the email that was sent that had the code to enter to get back on sweatcoin went to a page with a 404 error. Now it just says that email is used. Was good app just don't uninstall or your starting over no thanks was a good few weeks.

Used to love this app but it gets worse and worse with each update and there's no customer service, so no one to report to. There are days the programme doesn't count all steps and the Boost option is a joke, instead of doubling your steps it doesn't even count any. I walk a lot but the higher subscriptions are not even worth it as it will only be charging me extra points every month. Such a shame!

Pros: -The app might help you form a habit of walking or running if you are motivated by receiving internet coins for your efforts. -Uses a variable reward system to keep you using the app, which keeps you thinking about moving. Cons: -The store is underwhelming and has nothing useful to spend your coins on. -The app is broken. The 2X daily 20 minute bonus keeps "analyzing" after you use it and it does not award your bonus.

Sweatcoin was great. I earned over $800 since downloading. Unfortunately since the update, the app no longer works. I pay for the most expensive subscription and it's counted 0 steps over the last few weeks. So frustrating and I've made sure I don't have any battery saving settings. I've done all the suggested fixes. Nothing works.

The step counter has gotten much better since a few updates ago for me. Pretty good app, though honestly, I doubt I'll ever be able to afford anything on this app since everything is just so expensive. It's just worth keeping it as a step counter, I suppose. Set it and forget it.

Good most of the time. It's something for nothing, good idea. Isn't always consistent with step conversions. Tried to delete the app and recover my account to 'reset' it as it didn't convert any steps for 2 days. I couldn't get my account back, which had almost 70 sweatcoins on.

It used to work just fine...after i came to 5000 sweatcoins it started with this problems....will i get a refund becasue i wasted my money for nothing if the app doesnt work properly a

Things are still developing, and only a fraction of my steps get counted despite trying to fix it, but there's zero reason not to get this app: your amount of sweatcoin get boosted by watching ads much more rapidly than walking, and the offers are great, and over time you pile up steps also. I definitely recommend it!

I have a very good time gaining coins for doing things I normally do. It feels rewarding to see the coins stack up over time. And then buying real stuff and getting discounts on products using Sweatcoins a big bonus an allows me to create coin goals for each week. By using the app you can maintain a healthier lifestyle easier.

I have no issues with my steps being converted, I'm just sick of waiting for something good to come up on the "Marketplace". Why do I have this app on my phone if it's never going to pay off? You can write whatever you want in your privacy policy, we all know you're selling our data. We were willing to let you do it while there were reasonable rewards. Now it's completely pointless. I've been using for almost three years, never even got close to anything that was of value.

**EDIT 2** Lost yet another star for the email stating that you aren't able to check your emails as often as you'd like & to just use the app help section. Do you not think I tried that "solution" already? **EDIT** I am NOT able to use my phone number/email! THAT is the problem. I only receive an error message. Lost a review star for issuing such a generic "solution reply" rather than actually investigating the problem. I am unable to log in or sign up.

Like many other users here, I've found this app doesn't count steps accurately. I did over 30000 yesterday and although it has that in the one area of the app (the part that's connected to Google fit as it has a log of steps from before I downloaded this app), it has only credited me with just over 8000 steps in the main area. Today I walked 11000 and it has credited me with just over 8000 steps. I don't have battery saver on and I have the latest version. Great concept but badly executed

This is cool idea to pay people to be healthy but I think that there should be more visa, pay pal, and or gift cards for the rewards so that it will draw more people to download it and you are able to get a lot of things that are not rewards because you can use a visa gift card to buy just about anything offline with one.

In the beginning u guys were awsome everything worked perfect steps were counted correctly, also gifts and prizes were ACTUALLY AFORDABLE for those beginners. kinda hard to get motivated when the lowest gift will take u months to get to . But now these updates made it worse steps aren't counted correctly prizes are eh unless u have 15,000 and up , ps always freezes and the boost also won't read correctly and I have my phone set to everything u guys asked an update ps had this app 4 over a yr

Stay away from this app. Big waste of time. They convert a small percentage of your steps, sometimes almost zero. What you gain sot money, just points with which you can only have discounts, plus you have to pay for shipping. All in all, yo will never really get anything. You don't believe me? Try by yourself and then you will agree with me.

This app is actually real. And the rewards aren't going to be 10€ for every 10k steps, but they are real. Seriously, the marketplace (shop where you can buy discounts for physical & digital goods) is really good and if you work hard/are lucky you can get an expensive item. (maybe even free) I suggest as this app motivates to walk/run to be more healthy.

I used this app for 4 years. I Have never recieved any sweatcoins for my conversions. Their tech support is nonexistent and when you do reach out for an escalation they tell you to follow the steps on the app.... I got my whole family to just delete their accounts when they had the same problem and counldnt contact the company. Its not even worth the space it takes up on your phone.

Daily 20 min boost does not work consistently. I just finished a 20 minute run, with my phone in hand, and went at least 4,000 steps during that time. SweatCoin "analyzed" my 20 minute session and awarded me 0.29 SweatCoin, and said I only went 154 steps. EDIT: I followed the developer's recommend steps and went on another 20 minute walk today during the 2X Daily Boost again. It literally says I only went 12 steps, despite walking around my neighborhood for 20 minutes straight.

Works great for months then a bad update breaks it for months, I'm on a bad update now losing 3-10,000 steps daily. I frequently send feedback and get the same reply. I like the app but it's frustrating. **Another update I'm losing 5000 steps per day, very frustrating having uninstall and reinstall to fix # another update, well 3 or 4 recently and app is away to pot once more. I find recently I have to force stop, clear cache before I walk.....now that is not working 19000 steps 2.07 sweatcoins

I downloaded this because I've been out of work due to covid. I am earning coins, but unfortunately they're basically worthless. The rewards are stuff like discounts on things I can't afford or physical items that you'd still have to pay shipping on. The paypal option is only available if you refer a bunch of people who sign up. It's not really what I'm looking for and I'm super disappointed.

Worked great for the first 2 days. Then yesterday it suddenly stopped converting my steps into coins. And today it hasn't converted any steps into coins at all. I've lost coins for several thousand steps, and I even upgraded to the shaker status so I could earn more. I hope this gets fixed soon because I was really excited about using this app 😣

Boozt doesn't work, counts steps for example till 1000 steps but at the end calculates point for a 100steps. Daily steps are counted correctly, but then conversion is a bullsh*t. You do 9000steps, and get 0.80 point?! So don't tell me it is wrong phone settings, all my steps are counted in the app. The whole sweatcoin system is one big fraud.

I do like how they've expanded the options of health products(among many other things)that you're able to purchase(would also be nice, to NOT have to pay for shipping and handling every single time)with the Sweatcoins that you earn and overall the app is pretty decent. I'm taking my rating down from 5 to 3 because the 2x twenty minute daily boost option glitch, has wasted countless minutes of my time and has been a joke to deal with ever since introducing it. Fix it or get rid of it, please...

Back in 2019, i downloaded this app, it wasnt rlly good, i had no Motivational Drive to walk/run for the rewards. I came back this year since my friend happened to be using it recently, and it had many more options like auctions and fundraising! Recommended definitely. (Although i lost 60 Sweatcoins to Subscriptions that werent used since i uninstalled it in 2019) not only that but, Since It uses Google Fit, I cld link my Miband watch as well so i didnt always need my phone close to me

The rewards are usually pretty good no complaints there, but i do wish that the app continues to run in background for weeks at a time to continue to track and add ur sweatcoins to ur wallet. Wish i didnt have to open app every few days to ensure my steps and coins are being tracked/added. Like if there was an "always running" option to keep the app running passive in the background thatd be awesome

After last couple of updates, steps aren't as accurate and bonus points ads will not load instantly. I have to exit out of app and relaunch multiple times for ads to start. Most days after 3 or 4 tries, I just count that day as a loss. Checked settings and sweat coins have correct permissions and running in back ground. Hope next update corrects issue.

Its honestly impossible to earn any of the really good rewards unless you're a marathon runner and "pay" into the bigger tiers. Affordable rewards are only discounts/trials that mostly aren't exclusive to Sweatcoin. Look online for app analysis. As of today(04/03/21), big items are won by auction- winning bids b/w 14,000-24,000 Sweatcoins. IMO the average person earns around 5 Sweatcoins a day + ad watching. I've got 3000 after 3 years of daily use. NOT worth the battery drain and your data.

All of a sudden it disappeared, then reappeared but without the monthly goal graph etc. It looks like it's back to the old version, not the new one. I want the new one back WITH ALL my monthly goal totals intact please n thank you.

Dont bother installing. Interesting idea but the tech doesn't work. The app only works when it runs on your phone, so walking/running steps aren't counted unless you have your phone ON YOU while you do it. Steps taken/counted with smart watches won't count. And support is pretty much non-existent.

So I bought 2 offers...Acorn then later Stash. Just to find out at the very end that they both would not accept my Green Dot prepaid debit card. It should have stated credit cards ONLY from the beginning. Again an offer incomplete!😠 This is very upsetting...annoying!!👎👎👎

This app was recommended to me by my friend, they told me it was a good app. So, I downloaded it, I opened it and I pressed sign in. It told me there was an error, so I made sure I had the correct version and I do. So I went to log in and went to phone, I never recieved the message it says it sent. It won't allow me to put in my email either. I'm wondering if it's something wrong with my phone, because I have an android. My location was on the whole time I tried to create an account.

So I made my mind to leave it to 3 stars because the ideea is good but you guys are updating the app too often and in my opinion lately it has more bugs (3 times now on the daily boost I got 0 steps even though the app counted my steps, but not in the daily boost feature + all the ones I encountered before).

Overall a good app, but with the latest update the app has started crashing on my Huawei P20 Pro after 1 minute of using it's UI, not in the background. This issue has been solved, it was a fault in Google WebView, as other apps started crashing with the update. If anyone else has the same problem, update Google WebView.

Developers ignore actual complaints are aware of app malfunctions. Driving a car is not taking steps, 2x boost always does negative despite high location and proper battery settings. Developers like kids play denial due to cowardly greed for basically a scam app since you pay to get nothing for thousands of steps. Canceled subscription due to developer negligence and admittance of faulty app..damn greedy people for they create things that do not function correctly and then like kids lie/deny.

Was ok to begin with, now when I walk 10,000 steps a day it's being converted to zero Sweatcoin so only getting any from the daily bonus so might as well uninstall. Don't waste your money paying for Trouble Maker as I it's not worth it for what you get in return.

I really like this app, I just wish they had better prizes. The marketplace doesn't have much. The best prizes are usually the auctions, but those normally go for over 20,000 sweat coins which takes FOREVER to get. Until there's better rewards im gonna keep it at 4 stars.

This app used to be great, but stopped working about 2 days ago. I've missed out on at least 60000 steps because of it. No clue why it stopped, would be nice if it got fixed tho. Neither online or offline works, so somethings wrong.

The app was working fine but with the update from this afternoon, it has stopped working. It is not counting the steps. Please check. I had over 8000 steps before the update but it went to 0 after the update.

Despite this app count proper the steps, the conversion doesn't happen regularly. I did 23k steps in 4 days and what was converted was almost 3k. It is already hard to reach certain amount of sweatcoin, we need years to have a decent amount, and the conversion doesn't even work properly.

Works pretty well for me! My steps get counted pretty accurately and the app itself is easy to use. I love the crowdfunding. I just wish there were a group/leaderboard function and that I could see my followers' steps. It seems a bit useless to follow people if I can't see their progress :(

I think now its due for deletion...The whole of last month..like the whole of it, I earn 0sweat coins where I would walk 20000 steps a day..havin my phone on my hand but nothing was converted. I don't know how many times I have uninstalled the app, would like to have a manually conversion botton again, like that other version..you failed on this update..actually if I were you..I'd go back to the old versions because u suck on the updates..instant of improving..you distroying.

As promised, editing this. Seems good for what it is, does what it says. Its basically free money for walking (although its hard to cash it in or earn it anyway. You also need to get options that you are interested in as well and those seem random)

Since the update on the app I'm missing out in thousands of steps...my 20 min boost gave me 29 steps instead of over 2000. Also when I open the app back up, I'm on less steps than I was previously on I've done all that and still no further forward...is this going to be looked into?

For a while this application does not convert my steps into sweetcoin. Indoor counting steps doesn't work. Everyday I do a lot of walking and running and i didn't get any coin. I am very disappointed. If I could give 0 stars I would.

On 16 & 17 Mar I did 12382 & 12820 steps. Earned 9.94 & 9.88 SW respectively. On both occasions the notifications read : You have reached your daily Max! My earnings should be 10.00 SW for each day. This is a serious bug in the latest update. Just a couple of updates ago the app was working smooth without any such issues. Get it right to please.

Still breaks frequently and they removed all worthwhile prizes to buy with an auction system which seems really pointless. I am not sure it's legitamet either. At least it helped me start walking when it seemed like it was a worthwhile app

Very good idea, bad implementation. There are a lot of scam offers (paid but did not receive it), support does not answer or takes years, small variety of products. This app allows small businesses to get attention, but some are scam.

Step tracking has been pretty good, but when the heck will you focus on improving the android app? my iPhone buddies can all view weekly averages, etc. from their profile but mine only shows my earning level and how many followers I have. Work on Android please!

Until it updated...It (WAS) working well and counting my steps. Since the update it is no longer counting steps or much of anything else. Works really love for that to be corrected.

This app is amazing! I have been a subscriber and continuous user for 3 plus years, it has been of great use and incentive. You should download it and try it out for yourself and see what you have been missing from all those steps we take everyday!

After first day it will calculate steps but not add any sweatcoins to account I first tried to force stop the app then restarted my phone and eventually uninstalled and reinstalled it. It still isn't working and I'm mad because the other reviews said the same thing and I was thinking it might be working now and it don't.

Fun and useful. Walk and get rewarded is a great concept to keep us active and move around. Must try for all who want to be active and set goals. I'm loving it.

I am using Sweatcoin for more tgan 1 year and to be honest I have a mixed feeling. Most of the time the app is not properly counting steps. I do on average more than 4000 steps and it converts 0.01 to 0.03 sweatcoins. If it weren't for the adds you can not collect sc. Sometimes an update pops out which solves the counting issue, but than you release a newer update which brings back to the state with issues. I enjoy using the app. The marathon gifts are impossible to achieve. Maybe in 10 years.

You need to be able to have 5 or 10 friends join up before you can use PayPal to cash points out. Other than that I have zero interest in any of the other rewards which are just percents off of things.

I think you should be able to connect with smart watches to count your steps, you can't carry phone everywhere especially for a run. My samsung health app counts almost 30% more steps daily than this app.

Does not count all steps and regularly end up losing 2k steps per day. Why would anyone want to use this app? Update 4/3/21. Stilling losing steps. Only generic anawers from Sweatcoin. No attempt to follow up and resolve issue. As for instructions below, several times and does not resolve issue.18/3/21 more steps lost.22/3/21 7k steps and bonus not added. How?

This is a great app for earning from what we do on regular basis, but unfortunately seems my friends aren't able to download the app right now because of the restriction you have put on. So that's why I have given you 4 stars instead of 5 stars ✨.

On some days my steps does not convert. I lost around 10 coins in a day and Customer Support DID NOT resolve my ticket. The ads now autoclick themselves. Dubious behavior to get them more ad revenue, I bet.

The steps work, but the prizes aren't that good, mostly just % off of some unknown brand. Also it takes forever to get 100 and the auction goes up to 20k!

A good app for tracking your daily steps and you can now use your accumulated points to buy items and just pay for postage, I've taken advantage of a few items now and can say that they were totally worth it.

At this point I'd say the app is doing most things OK but I think it would bring in more users if they could pay you with gift cards and if their PayPal service worked in all countries and. Not just Canada and the USA I have a lot of subscribers on my YouTube channel that would rather join if they gave gift cards and PayPal to all countrie

So, I've had this for a while now. I don't always carry my phone around everywhere I go, but I've been carrying it more often. I just want to say I appreciate the little updates I get emailed to me from the people running this app! I got an email today telling me I had a 596% increase in walking this past week! What a nice thing to do, go out your way to let me know that! This app is really good and the people behind it are awesome. They could give lessons in customer service to many entities!

I feel a little cheated as my steps are not getting converted, especially for my iPhone. Plus, I'm paying a subscription so I expect a good working app. I've tried all the suggestions from sweatcoin but none work. The app can keep track of the steps but not convert them? That's so stupid.

introverted and becoming more immobilized by the current events had me at dead end. Than I became aware of sweatcoin with much more rewarding results than my google fit reading my ping in steps. Guys. It is not safe app. Full access to your Google account not safe. Just first day working as well! How they can pay to you without any Ads? I know.. Use your cpu for some hidden project. Never you can get 1000$ from this app. Don't wast you mind and time and energy. After uninstall you have to change Google passwords as sure. (I don't need replay from admin)

I don't know if this glorified pedometer secretly sells my tracking data to advertising or just uses distributed computing for cryptomining and that's why my phone warns me about battery usage all the time, but here's an advice: maybe make sure that the stated function of the app that you're using as a front actually WORKS AS INTENDED. Hald of last month's only had half of eligible steps converted, and now I just came back from a double-boosted run that wasn't counted at all.

It makes sense to track steps, but thats about it. The offers aren't worthwhile, as the shipping costs are the same cost as the item. It would make more sense if the sweatcoins could pay for the shipping as well as the product and we wouldn't have to use "real" money at all.

The new way of getting prizes has turned into an auction. Instead of a simple goal to reach, now only the people with the most coins will be able to get these prizes. I know, but that's still a problem, because they all go for over 20K coins, back then, a 1000$ PayPal gift card was only a set price, now it's only higher! As long as you don't bring back the same fixed priced, I'll keep the rating the same.

The app is ok. It converts my steps when it feels like it. It will count the steps accurately all day but then only convert a small % of the steps. I checked my Google Fit connection, but it registers the steps accurately all day. When I go to my insights, it shows my actual step count. I don't understand why it does this. My phone is new and updated. The app is up-to-date. I even uninstalled and reinstalled and cleared the data. No change. So 3/5 stars. It's just on my phone, now.

It hasn't been working for me the last 3x I used it! I lost out on about 14 miles worth of steps. I just updated the app and walked 5 miles and...NOTHING! I never had a problem with this app tracking my walks before. I can't find anything in the "help" section to get it to start tracking. Don't waste your time. Whatever they've done has rendered it useless. Also, I've done what developers instructed to no avail. My phone settings are fine.

The first days it worked fine then after the first update it started counting half of the steps recorded on the app, now after the last update on 5000 steps 0 coins. All settings are fine as suggested from the beginning when the application was working correctly. I'm about to uninstall it because it's frustrating. Almost all people have the exact same problem, you should do something about it.

It was a good app, but they did updates everyday for a week and now it's not getting all my steps, and they don't have gift cards at all, just post one new thing you can use your coins on to bid but by the time I see it at 6am the bid is up to example 16,000 coins.

I really hope I get some info from the sweatcoin team. Basically I have had this app for a couple of years now and I've ordered a few things through the app. However out of all the things I've purchased through the app, I have not received a single one of those items but still been charged REAL MONEY for shipping. I don't know what to do and I'm losing trust in this app. It just feels like a step counter full of scam ads. Plz help. Someone? Anyone? Plz.

2021-02-13T05:48:05.156Z
The step counter is nice, but the main reason people use it is for the coins. Recently, the marketplace to use these coins has been awful. Most offers are the trials of products that you can get for free just by going on their respective website. Or the offers are 10-50% off products that you've never heard of or need. A lot of water additives like coffee, tea, protein. The store has tanked in quality.

Earn money part is only half the truth... it jips me out of a couple of thousand steps a day. Also I tried to buy my first purchase and it wouldn't accept my debit card. I've never had any problems with any other purchases anywhere else online or in apps. Very frustrating bc most of the rewards are never worth buying, and I finally find something I really wanted and I couldn't get it.

Used to be ok. Had to walk outside but outside steps counted fairly accurately. Since the update, and yes I have checked every single setting that they recommend to make it work, it has not been counting most of my steps. I am at 12, 573 steps taken on a long outdoor hike today with 2890 having been converted. So, rather than the 10 sweatcoins I should have, I have under 3. *edited to add, I have the most recent app. There is a bug. As soon as you use the bonus 20 minutes, it stops count

The app means what it says in the description, it does not lie. It's super easy runs in the background when the screen is off or when on another app. Never have to worry about it messing up or anything. Easy and fast to use. I love the app, I've barley had the app for less than 30 minutes and made almost 10$!! 😄 Very satisfied. Doesn't cost a penny and you will earn real money!! Collect the money real fast also that's the best part of it!!

I used to love this app while it was old version, but now, the app doesn't work that well. It is counting my step accurately but when it comes to convert them, it converts a small % of the steps. And I know the problem is not my device. App is updated. I uninstalled and reinstalled the app and checked my phone battery saving setting and the others. All is doing quite well but it's still not working. That's why I am giving 3/5.

Disappointing. 3000 steps and only gave me 300 steps on the boost. Will go walk check back in and the step counter will increase. But the amount of coins does not. So I started to hold it to see if movement counts steps. It does. But movement does not equal coins. It's a good app. But , they do not give 1 coin for 1000 steps. I have. Latest version. All setting are good on phone. I have seen other reviews. I have literally tried every one of the tips the sweat coin team has given in the reviews

Been using this app for a couple years and regularly walk 15k-18k steps a day. Never spent anything except to upgrade plans to max free, and only have a bit over 2300 coins. Multiple phones, multiple android and app versions never convert properly. I just keep it in the background so that in 10 more years i might be able to actually use em for one of the "marathon" redemptions. Not sure how 8-10 years of walking makes it worth it, but its free...

I was looking at the "spend" area and I was looking at some airpods and I was going to buy them but then I changed my mind an went back and the 10 sweat coins disapired first I had 48.46 now I have 38.46 and I didn't even give her my address so the airpods can come to my house. That's why I give this application a 2 star if I receive the airpods I will edit this post.

Neat app, but very disappointing. The step counter works, but sweat coins are only awarded for "verified". So when I walked over 13,500 steps today, instead of getting 1 coin per 1,000 steps to give me 13, I only awarded me for 3,700. When I did the 2x boost, I walked and jogged over 2,000 steps and it only "verified" 600 something. Not sure how the verification works, but it sucks. The app is a neat idea, if it actually worked and didn't rip people off. My settings are fine, btw.
