Google Play Reviews

  1. Sara Angeloni-avatar

Comfortable. Definitely the spam is gone. Everything sorted from the beginning, no flagging emails needed. The app assigned them automatically. And when (from time to time) I want to review the plain mail list, there's a button on the top. The search engine in this app is quite powerful, and allows single click choice between different criteria (sender, title) when you start typing. The app lenses on important stuff so efficiently, I was initially afraid that I'll miss something. Never happened

  2. Ray Hill-avatar

Decided to try Spark again. Still a nice smooth interface, easy to read text, menus, etc. A lot more customization from previous I've tried. But, previous version was much faster. If a message contains an image, it takes 5+ seconds to load the message! I'll keep using for a little bit longer, if the speed of opening message doesn't improve, will need to uninstall again.

  3. Adrian Caramihai-avatar

    Adrian Caramihai

I used to hate constantly checking my emails, but not after I found Spark! Great interface and very fast. I've been a Gmail app user for years but decided to move away from all Google products. Although not sure if it's truly a blessing. You'll spend more time checking your emails...

  4. Paul Austin-avatar

Excellent email client for Android. Been using K@mail and K9 mail for years. They are both "long in the tooth" and lacking prompt updates/bug fixes. K@mail has not been updated for years and is not fully compatible with basic email services such as BT! Spark is slick & customisable to your likings. Thank you for a very decent email application. Happy to pay a one off small fee if required, rather than a subscription service. UPDATE 4/6/20 Emails sent do not end in the IMAP sent folder! Why?

  5. Kevin-avatar

The apps a great alternative to Gmail. The features the devs have been adding have been good and useful. The issues I previously had with the notifications have been resolved with the devs even contacting me directly to resolve some the issues. I'd like to see additional features such as automatic folder groupings as seen in Inbox but overall this is a really good app. Plus it's completely free.

  6. Ken Down-avatar

Best avatars presentation of any email app. But the badges only seem to work when they feel like it with most new emails only appearing after the app is opened. EDIT: And, weirdly, the compose button sometimes vanishes!!

  7. Brian Aurum-avatar

Works well. The version on my phone doesn't compress files before sending. There isn't even a feature to chose to compress files. Good app but this makes it annoying.

  8. Larry Singer-avatar

Would rate 5 stars if only I didn't have a problem opening certain types of attachments. Update June 5, 2020: With recent update, it's now a top notch replacement for Gmail.

  9. Gee Lo Por Robbins-avatar

    Gee Lo Por Robbins

Had problem of adding another email to the app, logged a call to the support team and it had been dealt with efficiently. I can recommend to use this app.

  10. Daniel Hjelvik-avatar

Although i prefer dark mode over light mode i wish you added a color wheel so we could change colors as we se fit to the text, icons and background. Telegram is a great example.

  11. Barry Hayden-avatar

I have had a great experience with Spark, using it with my multiple email addresses... Now I just need to wait for a Linux and Windows client ;)

  12. Saud Nm-avatar

I don't usually post reviews but this App deserves a review. I am absolutely satisfied and happy with this App and am using it for all my email accounts. The great thing about this app is the UI. It's faster, simpler, cleaner UI, No Ads and easy to use. Kudos to the developers. Spark guys need to Market this App. Marvelous product 10/10

  13. jd mckeehan-avatar

Gets better and better. Organized, many options, no ads.

  14. Primal Convoy-avatar

This app does NOT show any recent emails. As such, it's not fit for purpose. 1 star until fixed

  15. Mukul Garg-avatar

Amazing app! Saves a lot of time compared to other apps so that I can focus on what's important at a particular time. The UI is great. Love the Scheduling and other features. But there are a few things in my opinion that prevent me from giving 5 stars: 1) There's no Windows app, yet. 2) I can't take screenshots of my emails. To do that I have to open up another app. It's just very frustrating. 3) When I open the app from recents, I have to manually tap the fingerprint icon to open the app.

  16. Chris Weike-avatar

Great alternative to Outlook! Smart move function. Would give 5 stars if it wouldn't merge emails per conversation.

  17. Steven Alexander-avatar

    Steven Alexander

This is the best email app ever! Interface is very user friendly. Nothing bad to say. Wish I had it sooner

  18. Mike Breco-avatar

Great email app. I've already tried to convince several people in my circle to use it as well. I love the ability to write my own html for the my signature, (among other features.) It's only been a couple months but so far very reliable and intuitive. Good work guys! You've earned yourself a longtime user and advocate!

  19. Matt DeBlaey-avatar

Getting better. Still having issues with body formatting. Some graphic/photo heavy emails jump back and forth when scrolling. I feel this is due to loading. I have two other email clients that do not do this on the same emails. This update may have fixed this issue. I'll update if it does. Other than that, in the last year this app has improved by leaps and bounds. Thank you.

  20. Michael Jordan Jr.-avatar

    Michael Jordan Jr.

I've been using Spark to easily manage my personal and business emails. It is clean, colorful and quick. Everything you need in a email client. I love how I can delete with one swipe and how I can Pin emails to reference in the future! Highly recommend! I only wished that you can sign on via desktop or they have a chrome os app at best.

  21. Łukasz Filipek-avatar

    Łukasz Filipek

Quick configuration for any mail, intuitive UI, smart inbox. I recommend this application.

  22. linea-avatar

This is easily the best email app I've used so far. Spark seem to promote thier app more towards those needing a centralised inbox to manage multiple email accounts, though it works just as well using a single email account over multiple devices. The smart inbox is excellent, sorting unread and new email at the top of the page and easily allowing you to pin emails at the top for future reference. Lots of easy customisation options too. Overall Spark is a well though out and nice looking app.

  23. K. Morawski-avatar

Ever since Google shut down Inbox - now that was the best one, sorry - this has been my new favourite email client. The authors got pretty much everything right. Nice, easy to navigate UI, and customizable. Comes with niceties I haven't seen elsewhere, like a dedicated "send again" option for already sent emails (when you need to re-send the same thing to another recipient, as it happens sometimes).

  24. Prince Isaac-avatar

This is the best email app on Android and iOS. Doubt is a waste of time. And what I love the most is the email account feature. I have it on my iPad with over 15 email accounts. When I installed on Android, it asked for my sign up email and it automatically Imported all my other email accounts. That's Super!

  25. Jessica Houde-avatar

Life changer! This is so easy to use out of the box. It's also endlessly customizable to easily do anything I want quickly and conveniently. Spark flawlessly manages my 5 email accounts on 3 devices. I love the shortcuts and amazing features like send later to schedule your reply and collaboration so your team can privately discus emails before responding. You will love it.

  26. Cliff Wu-avatar

One thing I missed with the Android version was the ability to save an email as a PDF. That's been introduced with the May 6 update and it's glorious. However, there is an annoying bug introduced with this version--the bar at the bottom of the messages to mass swipe all messages consistently disappears and there's not a clear way to know how to make it appear.

  27. Rich F.-avatar

Excellent. I would like to see a sort function in folders and black theme. 10/27/19: The three features I like most are the Smart Inbox, the predictive folders when moving emails, & ability to file across all accounts. Sorting email is very snappy. Cons: No unread counts on folders, select all does not display a count, no dark mode, little customization: changing colors (fixed), ability to nickname accounts (fixed), button order, etc. Most frustrating is the view entire email feature!

  28. Angie McClelland-avatar

    Angie McClelland

Best email app I've used. Very happy with all the new features that have come about in the past few months, especially the avatars that allow for a quick glance as to what's in your inbox. Love the ability to customize swipes. I've experienced an odd notification bug that I reached out to support about and they are very responsive and pleasant to deal with.

  29. Michael Ebsch-avatar

Moved to this from Bluemail after recent updates made it unstable. I like the design and overall usefulness. Biggest complaint so far is the lack of long press features. If I receive an email with an image in the body I can't long press to bring up a menu to view image in browser to download. Does not appear to have any way I have found yet to download the image at all unless it came as an attachment. Lacking this feature alone may drive me to another client app soon.

  30. ICyclingClothes-avatar

I can't login my email, I ordered a hosting and created a new email but I can't login it with spark email, security but it was created myself.

  31. Gjergji Kokushta-avatar

    Gjergji Kokushta

Update 2: Today I am facing this issue: when tap on email to read, it does not load. Update: Something has change, when new emails come, it shows the subject for a short time then it dissappear. Nice design, (this was fixed-but it freezes time to time). Also it misses to show how many unread messages are there in each single account. What I like is when you set up accounts it will fetch the signatures automatically most of the time. That is cool.

  32. Kevin U.K.-avatar

This continues to be the best android email app. I have used. It also continues to be problematic when it comes to spam management. Adding the Spam folder to the main folder list does not work. The ability to mark an email as spam is no longer available. I have to go to my PC to do these things easilly. C'monguy's this is basic stuff!

  33. Juliette-avatar

11 May: I constantly have to force close and reopen the app when it bugs out, stops opening emails, shows old emails as unread and lags when scrolling emails. I've waited for months for a fix but it just seems to get worse each update. Prev the only app I want to use for email. The clean design is lovely, there are good customisation options and the main reason for switching to Spark in the first place was being able to access multiple email accounts at once in a really simple and clear way.

  34. Andy H0157-avatar

Absolutely brilliant app. Beautiful design...very clean and clear. Packed with features that would usually only be found in expensive paid versions. Ideal for business (I track 17 email accounts) as well as personal email and it works like a charm. A recent email to Support Dept. was answered within a couple of hours and was extremely helpful. Top marks Readdle Team!

  35. Andrew Alpha-avatar

Just downloaded the app and admired the smart inbox. Only negative that has not made this app my Go to is the delay when opening the apps to check emails. Once the app is clicked I am suppose to be seeing emails, not the intro overlay of the Spark app then my emails. It takes away from the speed and it becomes annoying quite quick. Currently using BlueMail.

  36. Stephen Sobol-avatar

I'd love to give this app a 4 or 5 star rating but can't just yet. It's beautifully designed with lots of great features but has an annoying tendency to send duplicate (sometimes triplicate) e-mails to single or multiple recipients for no apparent reason. Obviously an annoying bug for those receiving the duplicates. If I can't sort it out, I'll reluctantly return to BlueMail.

  37. S. Lynch-avatar

I've been looking for a really good email client and this is it. All the little bits and pieces are all in the right place. It's easy to find my folders. I can have an email remind me in an hour, day, week, whatever. Repurposing the "important" mark as a Pin is genius. It keeps my 3 top reminders front and center. I only wish the dark mode was truly black. But I can live with that. I had even paid for the 9-email client. But I'm letting that go. This is better and free.

  38. Daniel Gomes-avatar

Withv the most recent update it's even more aeswome! I l love having the buttons on the bottom. Spark is better than the Gmail app and Edison Email, which I also tried. Great design, gorgeous themes, notifications whose actions you can customise, very fast and receive all my mail from Gmail, iCloud and Hotmail. I can't believe it's free. And it's made by a brand I know, use and trust on my iPad for years - Readdle. These guys don't sell your data and take pride in making great software.

  39. Ron Brodeur-avatar

E-mail has stopped working. I tried logging out and back in and now my other e-mail accounts aren't even showing up. I've contacted the company and they were very quick to reply and are investigating the issue. I will update my review when this is resolved. This is just to inform people if they are having the same issue.

  40. Vasilakis Nicolaou-avatar

    Vasilakis Nicolaou

Although I really love using this app, I had to reinstall it several times on my Samsung Galaxy A10 Phone. After using it for a few days it suddenly decides to not open. It tries to but then it shuts down. On my Vodaphone 10 there isn't such a problem. It works perfectly. Some icompadibility with the Galaxy?

  41. Chanathip C.-avatar

I like the fact that I have access to all the thousands of emails I received. It's a basic function, yet not provided by most email applications. (Most of them let you read only about hundreds of the most recent emails you received.) I am, however, not a fan of Smart Inbox. That's because, due to my work, I have to be able to see all the emails I received without filters or categorizations beforehand. Anyway, I think the function should be useful to other users, as it provides them tidier inbox.

  42. Steve Hadlick-avatar

I struggled to find an email app to replace Inbox by Google. After having email automatically sorted, it was hard to go back to Gmail. Spark has my email needs figured out. Because of Spark, I spend less time finding and reading email. I'm able to open, find what I need, filter junk and mark things for later or follow up. I finally found the perfect inbox replacement.

  43. Billy Frank-avatar

Love it. the best email app & i have tried many. clean neat with features other apps just don't have.

  44. loath grim-avatar

I was looking for a new email app to replace the default Sony one which had become unserviceably slow as I accumulated more emails. Spark is the best I've tried so far. To my surprise I actually like the Smart Inbox feature (I usually hate "smart" anything) and the search is snappy, which was an important point for me. My only complaint is that the splash screen is kind of annoying. I just want to go straight to my inbox, not have to wait for the splash screen animation every time I open the app

  45. Via H-avatar

I think it would be better if each account has different notification color like its color code, so it'd be easier to tell in a glance. I had my work account set to red (not the LED, but the color coding) and personal account to blue, but the notification's color (in AOD ) is always blue.

  46. David Sheneman-avatar

Spark is my favorite mobile email app by far. I've tried many others and none of them have the design, integration with other services, or ease of use that Spark has. I also love that it's available on iOS, Android, and Mac. I just hope it comes to Windows soon, too.

  47. Michele S.-avatar

Well, first I was a skeptical which still am wary. To what I seen of other email apps. Spark, so far has a minimal layout and functions for who don't want to use Gmail or Yahoo or any email service app on their phone. But when it takes longer for whoever has Yahoo email address or Gmail.

  48. Len Carey-avatar

Love this email app and love the avatars, they make it a lot quicker to find emails.

  49. Yannick Olivier Orounla-avatar

    Yannick Olivier Orounla

This is a great alternative to your email apps. It served me as a hub for my non Gmail and non Microsoft emails. It has most of the important features and I like the swipe enhanced features. I wish it had better categorisation though, I wanted it to be my replacement for inbox by Gmail, but no

  50. The Gundarium Dragon-avatar

    The Gundarium Dragon

For the most part this email app outshines anything else I have come across. It's easier to plow through a large amount of email than in any other email application I have ever used on any platform, and the built-in browser is perfect for jumping between email and links on the web. Unfortunately, I have to knock off a couple of points here because Spark crashes everytime I try to reply to an email. No error message, just goodbye Spark, hello desktop. I hope that gets fixed soon.

  51. Liang Hian-avatar

Solid update for the android version. The actions button being moved down and the save as pdf function has been missing compared to the ios version and this update makes it all come together. The only thing I would like improved is the compression and lack of space between each email in the inbox. It's easy to miss emails as the emails are too closely compressed without breathing space in the ui. Overall best email app

  52. Mark Bonine-avatar

Just added print and PDF support, now a 5 * app. Easy to set up and use, saves drafts well, use combined folders and also view separately. Refined and well designed, solid UX. Appreciate develolopers adding important features and not introducing bugs or taking away function. I've used dozens of email apps on many platforms and this is top notch.

  53. Tobin Solkey-avatar

Have to fix Android notifications Realy like the layout and usability, but after a LOT of work (I said I like the interface) on my part, notifications still won't work. I need to be notified when I recieve emails. This should be pretty simple. Going back to bluemail.

  54. Cryzle-avatar

Great customization options. Clean look. Great productivity features. Also supports aliases, swipe shortcuts, custom notifications and has a dark mode. Only thing lacking as of now is PC and Web support, although that might still be coming. I also could not add my school exchange account directly, that might not be the case for you, though. Overall, a great Email client, the best free one I could find among many.

  55. Joe Hayes-avatar

Coming from Aquamail Pro for last 10 years. I was looking for another option with better search capabilities. And so far, I like Spark mail a lot. It's simple to setup and use. The only "con" I can find is the ability to set a rich text font by default. Specifically colors. You can set a default signature color, but not when composing emails. You must change color with every new email. This is annoying.. other than that, so far so good.

  56. peter railton-avatar

Just switched over from TypeApp, I've been keeping an eye on spark at it now appears to have all the options I wanted so finally made the switch, and at the moment I'm not regretting it, keep up the great work... After using it for a while I've noticed that it doesn't auto start when I turn my phone on, I've checked all battery optimisation and that's ok, but new emails will only show once I've opened the app from a reboot.

  57. Jim Klang-avatar

Very good. Intuitive. Easy to add email accounts.

  58. Lucas Bicca-avatar

It's a very nice email app. I have 03 emails address (02 personal and 01 for work) and I have been using only Spark app for all them. It's the best email client I used and I recommend. My only issue is related calendars integration. I would like improvements about that because I receive a lot of invites for meetings so calendar part is very important to me.

  59. Ali Sufyan-avatar

I have been using Nine Folders for quite sometime as my main email app on Android but was getting bit frustrated with some of things and lack of updates despite shelling out £10 for the privilege. Spark in comparison is free and has become my favorite on all operating systems I use. I would have given it 5 stars if there was calendar integration. The way this App arranges emails is the best feature for me. It beings out all the important stuff to deal with right on top and search is great too

  60. J Perry-avatar

Spark is amazing! I have several email accounts. And having to do all that set up when you get a new device is #killing to say the least. With Spark, one email address imports all the others and saves me hours of setting up accounts. The one issue I have is that maneuvering the folders and lnboxes. It's not as introduce as one would like. But still, I prefer it over all the other email clients so far.

  61. Careddo-avatar

I've been using it for a couple of weeks with my main account and is great. Beautiful design, excellent organization options, highly customizable, fast and clean. Only one con: it doesn't update automatically the content of other folders but inbox.

  62. Suleman Nasir-avatar

Awesome app, although addition of unsubscribe right from the app would be a great new feature.

  63. Brian Calderon-avatar

The app is a good service, but still lacks things like email open tracking, push notifications on Mac despite having them on mobile, and a Windows app. At least the notifications work, but took months to get an update to fix a critical issue that should've been hotfixed in less than a week. Luckily, the app is free. I would pay for a premium service with open tracking and to support development of getting issues fixed sooner. Hopefully this will come someday.

  64. James Porteous-avatar

I wish there was either a Chromebook or web version of this. I use it on my mac, iphone, wiko and the Chromebook is the only one missing at this point. But a great app. It is super easy to use once you set it up. You have one main address that sets up the accounts and you can add any number of other accounts after that. Then when you log into the app on another device you log in with you main address and all the other accounts are already loaded.

  65. Hanayo Trujillo-avatar

    Hanayo Trujillo

Like that the signauture I created shows up on every email I send. On other apps it wouldn't stay correctly. I also really like how it is organized and and I use the swipe gestures a lot for clearing out my inbox. I use this is as a default email app and I don't think I could go back to any other app after this.

  66. Kevin Baltodano-avatar

    Kevin Baltodano

This is a great app that kind of fills the void left by Google Inbox. However it could improve by showing bigger image attachment previews (as Inbox did) and maybe having the option to change the notification icon, as I always confuse it with Google Maps. That pointy thing looks more like a GPS notification on the status bar.

  67. Luuta-avatar

I wish Google Inbox still existed, because I loved that. Google Mail on Android is dreadful (although it works well on the desktop), but the ability to see all your email from various accounts in one window is fabulous, as are the new contact icons that appear next to the entries in Spark. It's just a shame that Spark isn't an Email server, it's only a viewer. You still need Google Mail or Microsoft or whoever to create email accounts.

Really like the new features that have been added on this update. The ability to adjust the quick access information is spectacular One thing I still have concerns about is the delay send. It seems to randomly send the same email to the same recipients multiple times when the request to send is only once

  69. Baz Welch-avatar

Almost really good but ... the grouping of emails is terrible. If I forward an email to another unrelated person, it links them together. Who wants conversation mode? Not me. It also sends 2 copies of emails to my sent folder. The timer for sending is excellent.

Good e-mail app. Nice interface, many useful features. The only downside: there is sometimes a considerable delay in receiving notifications about new e-mails. In some cases I only see new e-mails when I open the app.

  71. Mark Longo-avatar

Does everything that Gmail does and a more. Clean, attractive, and useful interface that clearly organized. Android lags iOS and Mac badly in places: no smart folders, no ability to email a named group of contacts. Have not encountered any bugs though I wish the search was a little more thorough. The search is quite serviceable however and overall I would say this is a first-class, high-quality app.

The app has been freezing as of late. Need to force stop it and reopen which leads to me loosing the email i was drafting. Update: the app is unusable at this point. Constantly freezes. The only fix is to force stop the app. It freezes again after a few email replies. Moreover, customer service is non existent. Auto replies and no response, EVER

Best since Inbox, but still not quite like it. Main reason I keep using it is because I can delete all the messages in my inbox with one swipe. Would love to see emails being grouped together in bundles/folders, like Inbox did. Edit 2020/04/03 Folder creation is an outstanding addition! Now just make it that emails can be automatically grouped by folder! Like they are now grouped by notification/personal etc. So you can swipe a complete folder to archive/snooze it etc.

  74. Richard Joseph-avatar

Countless hours testing so many email clients... This is the winner. Nice UI, stable with multiple accounts, snooze, reminders, everything bc I require everything. A send it later option would set it far apart from anything else. Only Khan is when I open a thread, sometimes confusing to figure out the chronological order.

I've tried many e-mail apps which all fail to keep my inbox clean (maybe it's just me, but I definitely needed some help organizing). Spark organizes my e-mail and removes the clutter so that I can quickly see what e-mails to keep (archive), what e-mails to act upon (pin) and what e-mails to delete, on both Desktop and Mobile. The possibility to swipe awhole group of e-mail to archive, pin or delete is one of my favourite features! 2 minutes with Spark a day, keeps my e-mail clutter away.

Spark email rescued me! I have an ancient bt Yahoo email that stopped working with Yahoo mail app and every other app, except this one! I have personally found mail apps to be frustrating, but the Spark app is intuitively brilliant! I have now migrated all my email addresses to Spark and have uninstalled my other mail apps. Thank you and well done to the designers of Spark!

  77. Alex Munz-avatar

Absolutely amazing, Spark is the email app I was waiting for. Now, from any of my devices, I have access to all the professional tools I need. And it is all so user friendly, well-thought, smart and fast. Thank you!

  78. Bruce Westlund-avatar

Thank you for making it easy to create & use folders again! No more gmail!

Just plain buggy, Samsung note 10 widget fails to update. Open app from widget and just get a blank inbox even though notifications show new email, have to close and open via app draw for a refresh says something when outlook is a better option. Emailed support a few months back about it and we'll let's say easy to just uninstall than wait for a response.

  80. Basil Mathan-avatar

eveything is good except small delay with email delivery but the main issue is not having the numbers shown on the app (app badges) to show that there is emails in case i can't view it as soon as it comes, this is an ESSENTIAL thing for me and NEEDS to be added. making it 1 star to ensure something is done about this, NEEDS to be changed, everything else is good.

I love this so but for two days I can't open emails or send them from the app. I can't email as suggested to notify of the problem because the so won't send emails so I'm stuck. I have followed instructions given online but I can't open or send emails from any account on spark for two days. Help

Spark is practically perfect, dark theme, all inboxes in one and so on, but I am missing 2 things. 1: A toggle like Dashlane has which allows you take screenshots in the app because sometimes I need to do this but Spark doesn't let me for some reason. 2: A donation option if you don't want to buy premium, there are already no ads which is perfect (please never add ads), but I am missing a way to support you guys if I want. Otherwise this app is in every way how Email clients should be.

  83. M Abrar-avatar

Excellent lightweight and fast email client. I found Gmail too clunky and heavy. Improvements that could be made in this app: 1. Be able to see calendar like in macOS and iOS 2. Be able to search emails by date so you can view all emails received on a particular date when you search for that date in the searchbar

A fabulous email client that made setup effortless. I'm not at all a fan of the 'smart' inbox, and had to be told where the 'classic' inbox was, but the developer was very responsive to my plight. I'll offer this -- if most folks like the smart inbox, wonderful. If not, why waste space on the main screen with a smart) classic toggle? Put the control in Settings (set & forget).

Clean and intuitive. Mails would be lined up according to what you've read so there's no rummaging through your box. They've also categorised it. Would've given 5 stars if it synced and pushed out quicker. I have to go in app before mail pushes out.

I love the way it arranges my email to make it more efficient. It also seamlessly interacts with Gmail. The swipe actions are super helpful and the "Pin" option has improved my memory ten fold. I use it on my Android and Mac Book. If they only had it for Windows the circle would be complete.

An excellent mail client which becomes better and better through the time. Multiple signatures to choose from with rich text format support , simple and clean UI , etc. Now it supports print options and you can save emails as pdfs. Shortcuts are also in the bottom _ useful for large displays. Galaxy Note 10

I love everything about this app but my Smart Folder isn't working how it should. It says that it WILL send notifications for contacts in your address book. Well I am continually not getting notifications for certain contacts that I have added and I have also turned on notification. I have sent support my logs multiple times and have gotten no solution. No point of using the Smart Folder if it doesn't work.

  89. Boston Blackie-avatar

Looks impressive, but more often comes back and tells me email was not sent. I don't know if it was sent or not. I end up sending possibly duplicate email. Waste of time! Now they updated it and the toolbar is at the bottom, so much better at the top!

  90. Andy Hoffman-avatar

My main beef with this app is how slow it is to refresh the email list. When I trigger a refrrsh, I would expect the UI to update in a second or two. Often, I'll need to wait twenty to thirty seconds. Occasionally, emails refresh quickly. I love the idea of avoiding the Gmail app but am considering returning to it.

  91. AA AA-avatar

Overall decent email app marred by poor compatibility with Outlook. Specifically, Outlook lets you pin emails–moving emails to the top of any folder they're in. Spark doesn't get synced to it those emails which were already pinned before installing Spark and which I've pinned with Outlook for the web since installing Spark. As far as Spark is concerned I may have well never pinned emails before. Spark needs a serious update to start syncing pinned emails for each Outlook folder that has them.

  92. Lance Stephens-avatar

Newest update changed what wasn't broken. Toolbar got moved to the bottom and a useless team ad replaced the functional buttons at the top. Threads are now reversed starting with the oldest message at the top. No way to customize that. Miss Google Inbox more every day.

  93. Amar Shergill-avatar

I like the app and services, but I just feel it looks better on iOS, the type face is better on iOS and the animations are better when you interact with the app on iOS. Switched from an iPhone back to Android and noticed how much more polished it looks on iOS, otherwise the features are the same on both operating systems

  94. Ludo C-avatar

Congratulations for this perfect app! I didn't find any bug for now (I've been using it for several months), and a special thanks for the update that moved the toolbar to the bottom of the screen, that's so handy!!

  95. mcmc-avatar

It works well as an email client app but my problem is the inconsistent pushing of mail. Sometimes it does. Sometimes it doesn't and when it doesn't it clumps up all your email and you get like 10 notification right after the other. Btw using a OP8

I used a few others, with slow downloads and less features, I tried this and really enjoy the experience. I hope it will stay this way. I prefer no more features, in exchange for speed. It's simple and fast, for me.

Great app never freezes or anything bad. Reminds you to come back to an email. Interface is user friendly. U can make an email a pdf and save it to your phone then print it via your email if you attach the pdf. Brilliant.

Overall loved this email app, but the recent update has eliminated the ability to create an inbox view that lets you segment email accounts. I would use the inbox view set to only display two personal email addresses and not mix messages from those accounts and work accounts. I believe firmly I disconnecting from work emails, and while it can still kind of been done, it requires multiple taps to just zone in on one email account's inbox. The app has become unusable to me as my daily email app.

The best email app I have used. Fast, easy to use and customise. Should take over from all the others if there is any justice. Why no fifth star? I feel there is always room for improvement though this app is pretty near perfect!

The best email application I ever used. But, in case you enter addresses in Bcc: line only it asks you for entering at least one email address. It's not true any more. It sends with Bcc address only.
