So much better than Outlook!!! I have used Outlook for many many years, but the recent updates haves many bugs and keeps crashing. Blue Mail is fantastic, it has all the same features as Outlook, plus alot more. I would definitely recommend anyone who has had enough of Email apps crashing/not working, to use Blue Mail. I am so glad i came across this, it has made my life a whole lot easier!!!! Big Thumbs up to the developers 👍👍👍

I despise having to search and find an awesome app when it comes to this electronic gadgetry. I don't remember why I tried this one, but I love Blue Mail and have dragged it from one cell phone to the next. I dislike google's email platform, and Blue Mail lets me pull in my google email account, my work account, etc. There is no advertising, no gimmick, no charge, no kidding. It is Five Stars 🌟 🌟 🌟 🌟 🌟

I just installed Bluemail, I'm using it with Office 365 and I'm having an issue. When a new email comes in and if I delete it in Outlook on my desktop the new email notification on my phone never clears and the number of new emails never decreases. I tried both fetch and push. Same thing. If I launch the app it works but I don't want to keep opening it just to clear the counter. What else can I try? I've uninstalled, reinstalled, deleted and re-add my account, same issue. If this issue can be fixed I would give it a 5/5

Works okay. Can't see whole email addresses to people you are sending to so you know that you're sending to the correct email address. Also not showing me the little red number on the icon indicating number of new emails. Tried all settings and nothing works. Tried Blue Help and not only a dead end, but complete dead air. Never went anywhere, either just sat and gave me the buffering thing or sent me in menu loops. Never got an answer or even a way to send a message to a support person.

  5. James Callus-avatar

It is a good email app. with plenty of customization. The only problem is that you always have to delete emails twice. Once in the main app, then you find them all moved to the deleted emails folder and have to manually delete them all over again. Why not have a "delete on exit" option in settings? I have asked the developers about it twice, but the only answer is " maybe, sometime, we might add this functon...". Then it would be a 5 star app.

Overall a great program with a ton of features. The biggest drawback is there is no reliable means of exporting/importing of settings. I have spent a tremendous amount I time meticulously configuring my 5 distinct email accounts however swapping devices (new or replacement phone) I need to spend hours resetting up. The backup/restore tool is very clunky at best and doesn't work. If this were tended too it would be 5 star.

***Update*** Uninstalled app and reinstalled. Seems to have fixed itself. A bit of a pain in the ass but everything is back to normal. Disregard following negative review. Rarely gets mail anymore. Lags and lags and lags. Was fun while it lasted....and worked. Now it's just too unreliable. Gotta find something that I can count on. Sorry blue mail. Gotta kick you to the curb. Ain't no good for me anymore.

Works well but lately, I've been receiving spam dated 2019 and this app does not have a "sort by unread" feature so I have to try to scroll through hundreds of emails or login through a browser to find them which quite frankly, defeats the purpose of having an app taking up space on my phone. Removing this app solely for this reason.

I've had Blue Mail on my Android phone for about 2 years, as Outlook wouldn't configure with BT Mail and been very pleased with it. Last week I received a new PC with Office 365 and have had continual problems with Outlook and sync issues. In desperation I downloaded Blue Mail. Almost instantaneously my BT mail account appeared and I am now able to send and receive emails without problem. THANK YOU, Blue Mail!😀

I liked the interface. But the mail both sent and received looks very pretty small (like they are not designed to be mobile responsive.). I am having difficulty in reading those mail and I continuously have to zoom the screen. If there is no way to fix it, I am not going to use this app anymore.

So far so good. I had two email programs with good ratings that crapped out on me. So far this app seems great. I think sometimes updates need to be carefully tested before released. I will be a long time supporter and recommend this app to anyone who asks for a great handler of email. I have 2 email accounts, one local to my county and one associated with my website. Both loaded easily without me having to input more than my email address and password. Kudos!! Thanks for a job well done.

Been unhappy with most email apps on android. I think most of them are skinned versions of the same core code. Bluemail hass well.defined worlflows, is very easy to set up custom accounts and even with uts simple UI, it has enough features like signatures to make it work well. I have 7 different accounts and I can manage them well on mobile in Bluemail.

  13. M Paz-avatar

For a free app, this does a very good job. My only real complaint is that sometimes the push notifications don't work. You don't know that you have new mail until you actually open the app. I know that for some people, this would be a huge problem. But since I compulsively check my email about every 15 minutes, it's not too bad for me. Otherwise, love everything about the program.

Almost perfect! Like using Outlook regarding capabilities (sadly Outlook for Android vs desktop is not as good as u'd think, altho MS is adding some cool features). Blue offers so much & u don't have to pay $50/yr like others that are feature-rich. Text formatting/signatures/hyperlinks aren't features, they SHLD b standard but aren't. Glad Bluemail has them. Issue: often highlighting or clicking links makes the email go blank/disappear. Pls fix & I'll leave 10 🌟. I'll email u specifics

I changed the hard disk on my computer and I was having some difficulties with the re-installation of Outlook and Hotmail (Now Outlook...). I bought a new mobile (Realme 7 Pro) and again I was having some difficulties with the installation of Outlook / Hotmail. I then saw BlueMail in the Playstore and I thought, why not, let's try this program. The installation was a breeze, mostly all went automatic and I had the great surprise to find what is called Unified Folders. I love this program and I did not hesitate in installing it on all my devices.

Very well designed app. I have 3 different emails from 2 different companies and this app handles all very well. Keeps me informed of new emails. The only ability I wish it had is to be able to save important emails in separate folders. It states it has the capability but for the life of me I can't figure it out. I still give it 5 stars.

  17. Chandan Gupta-avatar

    Chandan Gupta

It's the best one I have used so far. The features that I like is, it occupy less space than other email apps providing all other features, easy to switch between multiple emails and get my email instantly as I turn on my data. The best feature that I like is I don't have to turn on master sync to get my emails and I have been looking for such email app that provides those features. Keep up the good work!!

BlueMail addresses the bug in Gmail. Gmail failed to notify mail for multiple accounts. This seems a basic feature, where Gmail claims it could handle all sources of emails. BlueMail still able to handle this notification feature. I am keeping this version of BlueMail on my phone. Hope BlueMail engineers would not mess up the notification.

Hi, I started to use it a few weeks ago. It's working fine, many thanks. May I suggest one thing regarding the logo/notification, please? Instead of showing an open blue envelope with a number on it when new email arrives, I would prefer a closed blue envelope. And, when new email arrives THEN the logo would change to an open envelope with the number of new emails. Showing constantly an open envelope makes me feel new email came. Otherwise happy with it.

I was a little surprised that my new Pixel didn't have a mail app beyond Gmail. And when this came highly recommended I did it. As soon as I made sure it would work for me, I plunked down the cash to get rid of ads. It works well. And I keep discovering little things that make it a joy...

I've been using this for years. It's a simple way to keep an eye on my various work & private email accounts. The only slight issue I have is that when I read & delete old messages from the Blue Mail version of my Hotmail & Gmail accounts, or try to block spam, these changes are not reflected in the original email account. However, I can live with that.

I have been using this app for a couple of years now and must say I really like it. It is easy to setup, works consistently and does everything I need and I am using it with 7 email addresses. It says it works with active wear but I haven't figured out how to make it work with my Samsung Watch. I'll give the program a 5 once I figure that out ... assuming its possible.

Edit of original review: after having used the app for several months I realized a mumber of problems. Importantly, sometimes (often) the emails don't sync so you cannot see incoming emails unless you manually open the app. Also, the emails in the Unified inbox are not organized/sorted according to how you have sorted them in your PC. These are important problems and need to be fixed.

I use blue mail on all my devices, Windows, Android, and Amazon Fire OS. User friendly and compatible with all my email addresses. Love how it can organize my email so I can delete all the ones I don't need all at once instead of going through them all and deleting them one by one.

Great email app! Substantial configuration options, without over complicating, but enough to get most, if not all of what you may require accomplished. Smooth user interface, with elegant design. Also, please add settings option to view attachments inline. Configured for 9 email accounts, with several email providers. Seamless integration. Well done, Bluemail team!

I really like this app. I like it because you customize so many things.i love this app so much. I learn more about it every day. I really, like the fact you can change the size of the text for each text and reply. You can make the header orange and the background black and the text white. So many different ways to customize the way it looks.

This is by far the most comprehensive but simple email app they are for Android. I've been using it for years. I recently uninstalled Thunderbird email off my Windows 10 laptop and installed BlueMail for Windows. I've received excellent tech support from this company and it doesn't cost a dime!. I wondered why a email app this good, with all these features was free? I though they would sneak ads in, or even sell my email address to some spam company. NOPE! , IT'S REALLY FREE!

  28. Kiril Stankov-avatar

    Kiril Stankov

Good app and concept. However, I don't understand why there is no option to export configuration and data and import on another device. Backup accounts feature does not work! Not clear what to do, except some sms codes, which are useless, nothing happens.

  29. Himanshu Gupta-avatar

    Himanshu Gupta

While forwarding, it first downloads the entire attachments and then moves to screen to enter recipient names. This takes hell lot of time and if you click some other part of screen or your screen goes off, have to redo the whole exercise again. One of the major annoying bug in the app.

  30. CoMiGo Games-avatar

Sometimes the best apps are those that blend into your workflow so well that you forget about their existence. Or that they are not built-in OS features. Blue Mail is feature-rich, yet non-intrusive and easy to use. It also saves my eyes from burning with its dark theme that also colors your mail.

Friendly user interface. I don't need anything fancy, just plain email access and this is easy on the eye and easy to navigate. I'm sure there are lots of extra features but this app suits me fine. I did have aqua mail for a short time but so many ads kept popping up so I uninstalled and am very happy with this app.

the search feature does not work. Over a year later it still does not work. Now my app is pulling in emails from the server 2 or 3 years old and ringing the notification sound like they are new, over and over and over again. I will be looking for a new app

  33. o o-avatar

keeps trying to open every link in my emails in browser. from Facebook, google, WhatsApp, to individual pictures, company logos etc. every sort of weblink address in the email forces my browser to pop up trying to open it. I then have to close each browser page individually. This can. amount to a dozen pages from each email. Unbearable.

  34. K W-avatar

Seems good but the main problem is that it doesn't seem to sync or update frequently. Is this normal? My old email client picks up new emails instantly (I've got them both running at the same time to compare) Also doesn't notify you of emails received in sub folders. Major flaw if you use filters to sort mail!

  35. A Google user-avatar

Good but annoying. This is a nag rating. / 2020-10-14 Now the software is nagging me to review it again! Really?!? minus one star. The only reason I use this client is because it can print emails directly, and has a simple interface, otherwise I'd use Outlook.

Needs ability to select a email and open to resend, ie using different account or corrected text or as result of send failure. Will you EVER FIX THIS 👇 In dark mode, this app opens with a bright white flash (full screen). Previously reported to developer a long time ago but ignored to date.

A very good free email client with no ads. I hope its secure and they don't sell user data. Also if its battery hungry. My only complain is the folder structure. Eg u have a folder under the inbox Done. In the app you see all the path to the folder tree inbox/reports/done.

  38. Cliff Sees-avatar

    Cliff Sees

I've been using it for years. It's the only email app I've used. Very happy with it - except: why do I have to open an email before I can mark it as spam? According to security experts, just opening spam confirms it's a valid address, thus opening the door to more spam. I would like to mark spam without having to open it first.

  39. Martin Phillips-avatar

Came to this after months of frustration with outlook. It does everything I want, including blocking tlds and spam lists. Navigation to find some of the more obscure settings is tricky sometimes but the online help files have sorted me out so far. Very happy! 😀

Robust email client for both my phone and chromebook. Performs better and is more reliable that other free or paid apps, I've tried them all. Manage several emails from big names, to corporate exchange emails, flawlessly. I won't use any other email client again. 10 out of 10.

It's a good app but I would like to be able to sort the emails by date (oldest first or newest first) or search for them within a given period (eg: 01/01/2019 to 01/01/2020). Otherwise the app is very good.

  43. Steve Sweeney-avatar

So far superior to basic Android mail! This is a great email client! You don't have to open an email to mark it as spam - just press and hold to select the offending email, then use the menu to mark as spam and block.

Great email app. I was not happy with GMail because you could not default to All inboxes and the dark mode was not true amoled dark mode. This app does both and does it ad free. It also syncs my email calendars. Lots of configuration settings. Great stuff!

God forbid I can forward an email. This is especially bad if an update is pending. This particular failure has been going on for months. I give two stars because I can at least view emails when I'm not on my computer.

Having constant problems with my AOL account not synching & saying my password is incorrect. Whats going on? Only AOL account has this problem, my Gmail Accounts are good. But my main accounts are AOL so have to find another App to use unless Blue Mail can fix this.

Use to be the best email app hands down. Since update it lags, some emails don't show if you sent them or not. This is a huge problem because i have client to client business and i can't tell if my emails are being sent out or not.

Have used numerous phone apps for email, but Blue Mail is the one that I keep. The others come & are eventually gone. Just wish I could use rich text formatting, a bold or a blue letter on occasion.

The app won't open at night until 8-9 o'clock in the morning. The loading sign jus keeps swirling around. The few times it manage to open after a long wait, there were only old mails. The problem was temporarily fixed after update, but it's back again.
