Not operating properly. Ever since the update, there's a blank space for one email when I open the app. Doesn't matter if they're "read" or "new," there is a blank spot, maybe right at the top or mixed with the others. I have to select it to open and then it'll show up. Scrolling doesn't help. Plz fix this silly thing.

  2. guest-avatar

Generally, this app does great at handling incomming & outgoing messages from multiple accounts. It also replies to emails from the correct account it came from. Would be better if IMAP was easy to setup. Tracking lots of messages from multiple sources and on multiple devices (phone, tablet, public computer) is very challenging with POP3. I feel like I'm touching each email at least twice everytime. Those who have a similar situation will understand the frustration.

  3. guest-avatar

I configured it to only check email once per day but I get email notifications every hour no matter the setting. Also takes forever to load email contents no matter the kb size setting. Takes longer than ever to load emails now, via WiFi or cellular. They asked me to send the log file per their instructions, I've searched and searched, cannot find that option in settings or about. You don't know your own product?

  4. guest-avatar

Great. I mean perfect. But, it does not work with GE's mobile iron crud. Neither does the calendar app :( so I have to go back to iPhone. It's a sad year. Work gives us the option of a Samsung phone, but if we can't use it for work... i have to switch back to apple. Which sucks because this phone is really cool. I'll try again in 2 years.

  5. guest-avatar

When swiping down to get new e-mails, the top header expands 😡 This is very annoying to me Please have a setting/config that can prevent this from happening, for folks like me who don't like this feature Incidentally, please also have "feature toggle" boolean configs for all new features, to turn on/off new features, to make apps more adaptable, instead of "dictatorial" type apps - style, content, feature and functionality- wise, that we have been having since the 1950s till today!! Thanks!!

  6. guest-avatar

Had several issues with emails getting stuck in the outbox for days and never sending. Never had this happen before The banner at the top is okay but far too large than necessary. Happy about night mode. Edit. Noticed I'm having emails getting stuck in the outbox now then vanishing without sending. Used for this app for 7 years without issue.

  7. guest-avatar

This app does not display properly in landscape mode on Samsung galaxy a40. You just get a screen saying "Select an email from the list". However it does not display a list of emails. Turn it back to portrait and it is fine. Come on Samsung, if you're going to load an app onto your own devices that can't be removed at least make sure it works correctly.

  8. guest-avatar

Problem solved. Landscape mode let's you adjust the position of the divider. Moving all the way left allows full screen view of message. [Old review] Last update made it less usable. Before that I could open an email and turn to landscape view to read in larger text size with the full screen. Now it changes to a preview mode and the email size shrinks even more. Before that it was a 5. Will have to switch to another client.

  9. guest-avatar

The spam email function could use some help. When you mark an email as spam the app logs it, which it great. But when you get 15 emails from the same domain (but with different letters before the @) it does nothing to stop it. There should be a way to block a spam domain not just one address.

  10. guest-avatar

Nice, easy app to use. There would be 5 stars if you could save an email and attachments in a folder outwith the email environment, either as an "eml" or :pdf", or, preferably both. So that an email can be stored, together with relevant office documents in a folder dedicated to an item of business.

  11. guest-avatar

Needs a few tweaks. It'd be nice to be able to see raw message data like Gmail allows, same with encryption info. Also, the buttons in "server settings" are not centered for some reason. I'd like to be able to choose which accounts are included in "All email" folder.

  12. guest-avatar

I love that I can use this app with multiple accounts and then use the app's widget to show all the most recent emails from any one account or all accounts at once on the widgit to be seen whenever I view the screen the widgit is on. The main trail I don't give this app a 5 star rating is it doesn't seem to allow me to set it up to open the next email in sequence when I trash an open email (so I still use my GMail app to do my regular email reading).

  13. guest-avatar

Great App - I use it for my work email and it allows me to do everything I need to sort and organize my messages. I can also make my signature look identical to my actual Outlook signature. This might seem insignificant but your colleagues not being able to distinguish when you're responding to messages on your phone has it's advantages.

  14. guest-avatar

Spell check won't show! This app was great but it updated recently and ever since the spell check is not showing corrections (Still works on other apps fine). It shows the error but when you click the drop down, the corrects are in white font on a white background so basically invisible. This only happens on Dark Mode

  15. guest-avatar

The app does not render certain emails. It also lacks an archive feature, but you can move it to"All Mail" instead. I would like to see notification action customization so I could delete an email from the notification bar. The ability to pin and snooze email would be awesome, but the lack of this feature does not hinder the experience. It's user interface is well designed and easy on the eyes. I also love the ability to hold and swipe down to easily select multiple emails.

  16. guest-avatar

I'm not sure why this changed recently, but please make swipe actions (move, delete, etc. by swiping from email list) only applicable to the latest email in that thread/chain/conversation. I've noticed now its affecting the all the emails of that thread in the same folder unless you open the email directly. Or, at least provide a setting so user can choose preference.

  17. guest-avatar

I really like this email application it works way better Google email especially when I have attachments I need to download. For whatever reason Google download attachments but it takes five minutes for them to appear not sure what's up with that. Overall, this is a very solid application.

  18. guest-avatar

Better than all the rest..... I was using a combination of Gmail & Outlook for my few email addresses. It just felt clunky and awkward using the 2 native mail applications. I came across the Samsung Email app so decided to give it a go... I have ended up deleting both Gmail and Outlook! All my email addresses are now integrated into this App and I am impressed. The App is smooth and adequately takes care of all my email tasking. Will update after a week as I have been using for 2 days atm...

  19. guest-avatar

I have used this app for as long as I can remember with little no problems until recently. My incoming emails are received fine but now, I cant send ANY emails. It makes no difference if I am connected to Wifi or not. Frustrating as hell since I use my phone ALOT for email communications.

  20. guest-avatar

    Michael Matthews

No troubles at all. Loads any email account as well as be able to have multiple accounts on one easy to use app. Really is easy as well as storage space friendly. I'd highly recommend it if you're on a mobile device with limited storage space yourself and like easy access to all your different email accounts.

  21. guest-avatar

My emails have been disappearing, even when I search for them specifically. They are not deleted, since i can find them if I go to my email on a desktop. They just disappear after a while on the app. It's very annoying and there is no setting that allows me to change it.

  22. guest-avatar

Works well with my Outlook emails. However, with the latest update, when you drag down to manually refresh, a new banner appears in the top 30% of the screen declaring 'No unread emails'. Completely pointless and takes up valuable real estate. Please remove or give us the option to hide it. It's the first backwards step in a surprisingly good factory installed app.

  23. guest-avatar

The version on my phone is great, in that i can disable split view in landscape mode. Doesn't work on my tablet. Either the tablet being on Android 9 is having an impact, or the app is designed to work differently on tablets vs phones. I'd like to be able to remove split view on my tablet as well. Fix that and it's 5 ⭐.

  24. guest-avatar

Is not syncing with my business account. As is customary, an update screwed things up. Samsung did another update to fix the new glitches, but still don't have it fixed. My advise, leave a product alone when it is working. Look what you have done now.

  25. guest-avatar

I really enjoy the widgets features. From being able to scroll through multiple email and select to dark mode. Really, if Google had a widget dark mode I probably never would have tried the Samsung app. Still learning how to use the inbox to my satisfaction. Im not going to take any stars away unless I find something super clunky. 5 stars for now :)

  26. guest-avatar

I am a big fan of Samsung software but this one app has a glitch. When I get an email, it says I have two emails. When I have 2 emails, it says I have three. This makes it impossible to view email previews in the notification page. It seems to only do that with Google mail. So I am forced to use the Google mail app for Gmail and for everything else I use Daum or Samsung mail. If this glitch did not occur, I would be very satisfied with Samsung mail

  27. guest-avatar

For yrs I was happy w/this app (4-5☆'s) since I've had Samsung phns, 8½ yrs now. But in mid-Oct. of '19, this app inexplicably stopped syncing w/my Gmail acct. I've tried every known fix but w/out success, nor found any major issues w/my phn. And despite it supposedly syncing w/my 3 other em accts, it actually *doesn't* sync nor update them, making the app essentially useless to me. SO!, until prblm figured out (as it's likely human error😉), I'll continue w/the xlnt & glitch-free Gmail app😁

  28. guest-avatar

Not sure what happened...assuming an update but select folders are now missing emails that were stored. I keep all of my travel emails in a separate folder to stay organized and now they're missing? If I keyword search they are there but they aren't in the folder when you open it! Very disappointed loved the app and have been using it since I got my s9+, now I'm concerned.

  29. guest-avatar

Just got the S20 and this has been my goto email app forever, but now when swiping with only 1 action selected for each direction, the action doesn't happen automatically as before and now requires I tap on the icon. For example I have swipe right set to only read/unread. When I swipe the swipe trail shows up but I now have to tap on the icon for the action to complete. Previous versions did not require this. Ver

  30. guest-avatar

The app works great most of the time. Sometimes deleted emails will return. After the 2nd deletion, they're gone for good. My service provider still uses a bitmap image in the mail. That doesn't show up. Just get the icon. If you happen to be on the phone, mail doesn't sync until you've been off a good 20 minutes or so. I don't have wifi, just unlimited data. Don't get the extra white tail on the end messages anymore. That's a plus.

  31. guest-avatar

This app inserts hyperlinks in all words related to time, such as "today", "Monday", "next week", etc. Very annoying, and there's no way to disable it. Samsung reps acknowledge the complaints in tech forums, but it's left in every new update!

  32. guest-avatar

    Dominik Klaffenböck

So I upgraded because I thought "what could they possibly make bad with an email app?". Well color me surprised, you actually managesd exactly that. I'm not blind, I don't need a huge message telling me I have unread messages. Can't even downgrade to a proper version.

  33. guest-avatar

I'm not sure if this is associated with recent update but now anytime I receive an attachment and I try to download it it gives me an error and says 'unable to download'. I have gone through permission, default apps and nothing seems to allow me to open up these attachments.

  34. guest-avatar

Works fine but last update added extremely annoying notification window to top of main inbox view that tells you how many unread messages you have gotten today. It takes up half of the screen and is useless. I already know how many unread messages I have and when I received them. You can't turn it off. Please remove the utterly useless and annoying feature or at least add a setting to turn it off

  35. guest-avatar

Nothing is perfect, however there is appeal in simplicity. The app does what I need it to. Allows me to select what should be filtered out and what I would want as "top priority". I like that I can have multiple e-mails signed in as well. If I could complain about anything, is that I should be able to change my adolescent email addresses. That's on me though so.. Lol. Good app!

  36. guest-avatar

    Jonathan Martin

It's easy, simple to use. Topic accessing is easy to move an email to put in different named files. Not colorful, it's a standard app but nothing stands out or really sets it apart except it has an easier way of (as I said) filing where you want to place the income emails.

  37. guest-avatar

Was a good email app until the last upgrade and now it's acting weird. Inbox emails, some won't show the email, just a white space where the email should be in the list. Moving an older email to a folder using outlook or hotmail initially moves email to a folder but when you move a second email, the first shows back up in the inbox. Also, large area at top of email screen that shows unread number of emails is a waste of space and need to scroll down past it, very annoying.

  38. guest-avatar

    Christopher Barnes

Messages are clear and controls responsive and universal controls at the bottom of screen. One improvement would be to add the ability to ask for a read receipt. I also would like to add my own header but maybe yet to find it as phone is new.

  39. guest-avatar

    Juan Carlos Arias

I like it. I don't have the connection issues I had with the outlook email app to connect to the office email. I don't like that it does not update my subfolders in my inbox so it does not show a new email count as it shows in my inbox so I have to open each subfolder to update or refresh and see if I have a new email. This is a bit of a waste of time.

  40. guest-avatar

I like the stock email but the recent update adding a giant banner at the top when you pull down is annoying. To save on battery life I require a manual refresh and now the banner shows up on the first pull down and requires a second pull to actually refresh the list. It is also unnecessarily large taking up a third of the screen. Either constantly display it, make it tweakable, or get rid of it. Not efficient, not aesthetically pleasing, bad design.

  41. guest-avatar

    Patrick (on the planet)

Been using this email for YEARS with an Exchange Server on my Galaxy Note. Loved it until most recent update which now forces this huge banner at the top of my email, taking up half the screen. This is inefficient and clunky. I don't know why Samsung insists on this look. The huge banner is over in their text message service too. I do NOT need or want a massive, large font banner that tells me "you have 4 unread emails." I know that. Why can't you people just leave good enough alone?

  42. guest-avatar

The "pull down to refresh" feature for the emails list now requires two pulls :( This came with the latest update. This is because they introduced the "x unread emails" header that occupies half of the screen. Completely useless. I hate this app for the low number of configuration options. You cannot define the number of email preview lines in the list. I would like to set it to 0. Email title that shows there is sufficient, and the additional lines allow less items to be shown at once.

  43. guest-avatar

I have complained twice without any resolution for a very simple printing issue...but it's annoying as hell!!! When printing an Email, the top of the Email is not printed. The first word of the print is the first word in the body of the Email. All of the information at the top such as Email addresses of From, To, Date, Subject, etc, is never printed. If I elected to print an Email, there is a good reason for it, I need the information completely reproduced. SAMSUNG A-70

  44. guest-avatar

Looks nice, but have two peeves with this app. 1. No option to automatically show images such as banners in emails. Tired of clicking "show images". 2. Email text is way too small sometimes, not always, and hard to read without zooming in. Other than that, it does work and does the job, so far.

  45. guest-avatar

I'm sure my review is biased by my lack of experience. 1. I can't grasp the visual of conversation threads now: It seems backwards and awkward. 2. I need a way to route incoming email to folders (for frequent flyer routine emails). I don't want them to clutter inbox, and want to delete them easily by business. I do like the small preview notifications that pop up, and the unlimited storage!

  46. guest-avatar

    Aymeric Chaupin

Emails don't leave the box. I am moving to another app. Update: several months later, despite updates, the exact same problem... it's embarrassing to your developers. Apple Safari works very well. Should I contemplate switching to an IPhone? Oh well, I guess that's what Samsung's silence over this issue tells me. Thank you for all these years.

  47. guest-avatar

Last update is stupid , now the whole screen drops half way down just to show you the title of each folder before you can have it sync that folder, I don't need to read what folder I'm in when I already know and can see it along the title bar at top, so thanks for an extra annoying, time wasting click, you just successfully went backwards with your app. If people using this can't remember a micro second of what they clicked they shouldn't even be using this app!! Time for a different app!!!!

  48. guest-avatar

Nice fast way to communicate with others. The interface makes it easy to use just one hand, even when cutting and pasting information. Adding pictures is also easy to insert. I also like the guesswork of what you might type. My job requires me to enter information about my work I'm doing and since the paragraph I write is almost the same, I find myself typing a few letters and it almost knows what I'm going to type. Sometimes I get blocks of text and that really helps.

  49. guest-avatar

It works exactly like the Gmail app except better. It shows you all the messages from your multiple accounts in one section, and a delete all function when deleting multiple messages. The thing I do not like about it is how they show this HUGE banners on top of the screen as part of OneUI.

  50. guest-avatar

Keep on crashing all of a sudden. Samsung should do something about it. Now i can't access my emails at all. Rebooting my phone doesn't help at all. I don't know what to do. I have just notified it stopped working after i installed dex application on pc and accessed my phone via dex. I think what something happend right after that.

  51. guest-avatar

The best thing I like is I can use all my email accounts at one place & no need of sign-in repeatedly. After a long time I am back at hotmail & Yahoo, just because of this app. Thank you #developers. Just the interface can be more attractive.

This app, thus far, has been a joy to use. I am still learning its capabilities, because I just started using it a few days ago. I replaced the Yahoo Mail app with this one, because of the "chronic" issues and unpredictability I was experiencing with the Yahoo Mail application. ¡Gracias, Merci, Thank you Samsung‼‼

  53. guest-avatar

I've recently started having problems with the app not able to send any emails. Incoming messages still works fine, but any time I try to send emails it always fails, whether I'm on data or wifi. I have to log in to my email from other devices or my phone browser to send emails now. I'll edit my review when this gets fixed. Hoping for an explanation of the issue for now.

  54. guest-avatar

The app is alright for most things, but its search is terrible. It won't find emails in non-Inbox folders at all, emails that I KNOW I have because I just had them up on my desktop. Update- knocked a star off because I've seen no change in my ability to search older emails. I checked my settings as best as I could and I *should* be able to find older emails that are not on my phone, but any time I look for an email I know I have and click on "Search for older emails," I get NOTHING.

  55. guest-avatar

Stupid. Doesn't know the difference between email and spam. Throws whatever it wants on you thread. I was spending 30 minutes 4 times a day in spam taking things out and don't recommend this unless you have nothing to do. Don't get it! Can't uninstall

  56. guest-avatar

I appreciate that I can attach several files all at once compared to my comcast email app that makes me go back and forth from file to the email then back to the files, etc. I can click on all my file attachments at one time with this app. Makes life easier.

  57. guest-avatar

Last update introduced a gigantic useless banner that is very obtrusive. It says "5 e-mails not read today" but it easily takes half the screen. Firstly, I don't care if I didn't read some e-mails, secondly, if I cared I still wouldn't want an enormous banner informing me, but rather a discrete, clean information in a single small line. I will give the devs the courtesy of 5 days to fix this issue then I will switch apps for good.

Decent app but has an annoying bug. When you try to use the "share" option with the phone the email app tries sending forever and never actually sends anything. The icon is at the top of my phone and never goes away. I can clear it but it comes back. I cant make it fully go away without uninstalling the email app. Going to find a new app to use. Too annoying.

This has been pissing me off! Every time I get emails in my outlook account, I delete them. Five minutes later, sometimes not even five minutes later, the ones I just deleted come back into my inbox folder. And every time I try to access my bin folder, it glitches by taking me back to my inbox folder. And as for my Gmail account, it does not load up the bin folder properly. I do not know or understand why. But please, fix this issue.

Better than Gmail. For one reason, and one only. Samsung email will actually send the message when you want it to go, not whenever it feels like it, like Gmail. Endless outbox messages are not a thing on Samsung email. Critical for business. Matt

It has lots of features that make it superior to Gmail. With the incessant shenanigans Google has been up to with their Gmail app, I've finally made the switch to Samsung email, and so far it's much better than Google's Gmail app.

  62. guest-avatar

Since using this app, I've been getting notifications for EVERY email that I received, which wasn't happening before. Now, emails don't get lost and slip by unnoticed. I see EVERYTHING that comes in and it's been great!!

  63. guest-avatar

Please remove the top banner! This has been my goto for email until as others have said the large banner was added and it takes an extra swipe to refresh. Landscape mode makes it go away but then it is annoying to have to switch back and forth to do other things. Please, please, please, remove the banner or make it optional. Will update back to 5 stars when this happens.

The pull down feature from this last update at the top is so frustrating and a waste of space. And the new functionality when i slide to delete is so slow and irritating. It slows down how efficient this app used to be. If it ain't broke don't fix it!! Give us a way to turn the top pull down notification off and fix the slide functionality. Do any of you programmers actually use this app?! Try asking people who are using it what's needed!

I'm having a problem with your Samsung email. Ever since your update I'm having issues. It will work fine for days and then all of a sudden it will tell me that it needs authentication and wont send my emails. Even after I re enter my username and password it still won't allow me to send. Then all of a sudden hours later it might decide to send them. I've uninstalled and reinstalled it and it wouldn't let me set up the email account.

Firstly, I've had samsung phones over the past 6 years and have experienced the same thing each time. Randomly logs me out of my account, emails I cannot find even when I ask to check server, emails I put into a separate folder disappear after a while and then I have to log onto hotmail on the internet to find them again, sometimes it takes forever to load my emails. Just hasnt been a great experience and I've just had enough.

It's easy to get into not hard at all I get all my messages from this email app I am very pleased with it. I would recommend this to everyone that needs to keep up with all their information and delete all that is not necessary. So if you are looking for a speedy email app this is the best yet but that's my opinion.

  68. guest-avatar

I have only been using the app for a few days but so far I haven't had any problems with it. It loads quickly and sending and receiving my mail has been smooth. It's easier to delete emails with this app, than it is with Gmail or Outlook.

  69. guest-avatar

The email I used through this service was compromised. Also, whenever I've tried to select *all* emails to delete them, it won't even register that I'm clicking delete. I just went into the app this morning and I can't delete a single email.

  70. guest-avatar

App seems good except not being able to set default view to always show all email accounts. If you open email notification from the bar it switches to show only emails from that account. Have to go back and switch view to all accounts each time. Very annoying.

As of 2/2/20, GET RID OF THE UNOPENED EMAILS HEADER. it takes way too much screen real estate, for no reason! Otherwise, my old review below still stands. Works fine, and NO ADS. I just switched from Gmail, which was great except for the ads. If it could have multiple inbox folders like Gmail app, that would be great!

  72. guest-avatar

Latest update has made the app terrible. Spam filters do not work. Can't turn off notifications for junk email. You lose half the screen after refreshing. Widely known issues for several months yet no update released to fix these. Will be deleting.

Pointless update. Loading time is longer. Navigating my mail is a pain. "If it ain't broke, don't fix it". Very frustrating. If I wanted to spend so much time retrieving email, I'd use my outlook app.

  74. guest-avatar

Keeps booting me out and saying that my password is incorrect, even though I can log into my email with the same password on my laptop. When you do manage to get into your email, its a mission in its self to get it to update your inbox.

App is nearly unusable due to frequent notifications for emails I've already deleted. Problem fixed: It only took two rounds of clearing the app's data in Settings and uninstalling/reinstalling updates to the app. Not ideal, but it's working fine now.

Mails are not synced automatically, even I have turned on sync function on my phone. I found this bug very long time ago, but it still not be fixed until now. Very bad exprerience. Update: I found my phone problem, everything was alright.

  77. guest-avatar

Get rid of that banner! Why the developers thought this was a good idea in the latest version I really don't know but I find it unnecessary and intrusive as it takes up so much screen space. I already know whether I have any unread emails as the desktop icon shows this along with other notifications. Please remove it or give us the option to turn it off, which I have looked for but not found.

  78. guest-avatar

Outlook adresses won't load emails and only shows new emails once, as soon as you read them you'll never be able to view them from the app no matter how many times you "swipe up" to load them. Had to download the Outlook app separately but will be looking for an app that can work on all of my emails and not using this one anymore.

  79. guest-avatar

This app is poor so I am now considering replacing it with another. Emails fail to load & sync. The search facility is unreliable. It seems unable to forward messages on. So fails on all of the basics really. Anyone have any recommendations for better alternatives?

Although I don't usually want to get any email on my phone, I decided that it would be easier than logging onto my laptop when out of home. Easy to use and don't notice any slow downs or issues with normal mobile functions.

  81. guest-avatar

The app works rather well, I can see emails from multiple accounts, nevertheless since at least 2 years ago: very often you delete or move emails to another folders and when refreshing/ updating, the deleted ones appear again or were not moved... this happens at least since 2018!

  82. guest-avatar

It would be nice to have the badge number for unread emails stay on until you either read or delete them. When displaying emails with pictures the app has to reload and seems unstable. New update now shows the # of unread emails. The number stays even when you go in and out of the email app. Well done, thank you 👍👍

The user experience of Samsung Email is excellent! I replaced MS Outlook because it was not functioning properly, as it was not syncing realtime no matter what I tried. I need realtime updates for work so that was a huge problem for me. I worried that switching to Samsung Email would not provide all the features I was accustomed to with Outlook, but I was pleasantly surprised as this app has EVERYTHING I need!

This app is invasive, almost impossible to delete. No availability to unsubscribe or delete from Window 10. Do not ever use it. Customer support from Samsung has been abysmal. I have been in direct contact with 4 members of staff and registered formal complaints. The only effective resolution has been to delete all contacts with Samsung. It is inevitable that things go wrong but when businesses fail to address them fully they become 100% unreliable.

  85. guest-avatar

I have used this app for years. I have 4 email accounts associated with it. Whenever i had new emails on any of them, i would click on the notification and it will open the email with the newly received emails. Since the last update, the app will not open the email I have chosen from the notifications, it opens by default the last email account i have been checking. Now i have to click on the menu to switch the accounts manually. Very frustrated and disappointed. May have to switch apps.

I am using a POP version mail. In my earlier phone, If the mails are not downloaded to my computer outlook file, I was able to read all of them using the app in my phone. But once I download them in to my system outlook file, this will get removed from phone, helping to save lot of space.. but in this app it's not happening and its consuming lot of memory of my phone.. pls do the necessary corrections..

Setup was very simple and intuitive. I recommend setup while you are connected to your network wifi. If you are pop mail user, sending mail may hold in outbox until you are on your primary network. Still, I like the app and use daily.

  88. guest-avatar

I like that I can have all my emails in one place but I feel like the app appearance is too busy. It needs to be simple and easy to read, maybe some color organization. And theme settings would be nice.

  89. guest-avatar

Was great until the latest update which added a half screen display of the number of unread emails. This is not clickable to view the unread emails and seems to serve no useful purpose except taking up 50% of the phone screen. Admittedly disappears but keeps popping up again whenever swiping down the screen to refresh and check for new mail.

  90. guest-avatar

Its so annoying that it wont show up ur old emails easily.. I had to put on about 20minutes on it just to find an email from August and then deleted all of the other emails that i had recieve just to have it on top of all(cuz i have had stared it before but then when i looked for it in stared emails later, it was empty, so it was the only and best option that i had) and now, everytime that i check my emails i have to swipe up afew times and wait so that it maybe shows up.Its really frustrating.

App is good, but I don't like to invest myself in giving an opinion that is limited to so many rules. It's inauthentic for what it's worth. The sheer volume of requests to rate and like everything demands a sacrifice of my time and effort, so know that this is a good app, I don't waste time on mandated free advertising as a rule

  92. guest-avatar

email works fine and it allows you to send email. Sending and receiving emails with the spell check makes it much easier. My fingers are not small enough and I make many mistakes but the voice command even makes it better

  93. guest-avatar

What's this new nonsense message taking "half the screen" saying "you've got 2 unread email today"....half the screen!! Everyone manages/opens/reads their emails starting with the top ones. Thus, why would you move the delete, move, unread buttons to the bottom of the screen? What a nonsense to make users, whose fingers are at the top of the screen, go look to the bottom to manage the emails...are you UX beginners? Go back to UX school.

Unfortunately I've had to switch to Gmail. Notification popups no longer work in Samsung Email. The sound is played, the badge updates... but no popup at the top of the screen. I troubleshooted: Notifcations ON, optimization OFF, Adaptive notifications OFF, and it's not been put to sleep... I preferred Samsung Email due to its simpler design, integration with Samsung device wide search, One UI design. But, without visual notification popups when new emails arrive, I can't use it anymore.

Since the last update the new function applied at the top which tells you how many emails you have is wrong. It's not syncing correctly. Each time I change the view and then go back to the inbox it shows a different number. Please sort this out or remove it and go back to what it was.

  97. guest-avatar

I like the fact that i can use my e-mails, but recently i have to swipe up to load my old mail and when swipe down you will see a big sentence reading: "NO UNREAD EMAILS" and you again have to swipe up to get more of conversations. Why easy when it can be done difficult? Why samsung why? I'm now looking for another application to replace it

  98. guest-avatar

I'm trying to send new messages from my email app but can't find the link. It is new to me on new tablet. Also searches are impossibly incomplete with hundreds of emails missing on two accounts. Unless there is a fix for these problems this email is almost worthless, and this is why I bought this tablet in the first place.

  99. guest-avatar

Have been using this app for over 5 years and loved it with zero issues...UNTIL the latest update and now my email is all jacked up! I am missing emails from the past 6 mos!!! I have today's emails in my inbox, then the next most recent is from August 2019! Any email I put in a folder recently is still in that folder, but I'm missing all my current emails in my general inbox. Now I have to log on the internet into hotmail to view all my inbox emails. Defeats the purpose of this app!!

Love how the email breaks up emails into each day. Makes it easy to catch up. Enjoy boldface of letter as well. In my opinion puts me at ease. Especially when last thing I want do is go three emails. Recommend this app over gmail.
