Last update looks nice and seems more intuitive. However I'm not getting the number of emails in my inbox number on the icon anymore. When I try to adjust the settings, activation of the number tag appears to be a part of a package that includes Notifications I don't want. It's a work in progress, still,so we'll see. Its certainly better than the Gmail app which I find to be a total mess.

Easy layout to read, at first I was a bit lost where the "delete" was which is now moved to the bottom...and like another user said, I also no longer have emails in my saved folders nor will they sync/download like the last email app did, which is extremely frustrating! Needs another update to fix this!! Please fix!! I often refer back to my saved folders and now all those emails are GONE.

Everything worked great until this update. never had a problem. Now my created custom folders for my bills and other saved/important emails are gone, along with all of my emails that went along with them, in which they were all important and can no longer view or retrieve. When this gets updated again my emails better be back or I would've lost a lot of very very important items. I never thought I'd have to read reviews before updating, now I know to do so in the future.

Update 2/23/2019: I have to say that Samsung has really made this app extremely stable. I'm using it in a SM-G965U1 model running Android Pie. OLD: review: I just updated this app and I am not experiencing any issues. The blank email issues that I used to experience periodically on a previous release has been fixed. On a more personal note, I do wish the app had more customazible settings like Blue Mail or as smooth as Edison, but nonetheless is works great with my work Exchange account.

Watch out Gmail. this app is great because it doesn't use conversations and you can delete emails without losing conversation. keeps them in proper chronological order too. can also save just the last email in entire conversation whether in inbox or sent box. Need to improve badges so they work even with pop up notifications off.

I should have read the reviews before updating to this latest version. My dark theme cannot be applied now. That bright white background needs to go. It actually can damage your eyes when you use the app in the dark. please allow background customization. Please! I am now experiencing with other mail client so I can find a replacement. I would rather use the preinstalled Samsung app.

Pretty awesome so far. I read some people are having an issue saying that there stored emails are no gone. Just go into the account and you will see all your folders, and then you have a choice to sync them or not. I can now have my G Suite account on my email which is a great help for me.

always my choice of email app for corporate account but it used to lag when you searched or went into folders that you didn't often use. aside from the fresh look, that's the most important! I'm not jealous of smoother email apps now that for some reason or another didn't work for me either. very happy!

it has really improved by folds... but still has more remove to improve and is just a bit slow when compared to other apps. M using it since Samsung Note 3 days and currently on Samsung Note 8 don't know or can't comment about other phones. but yes, it totally means Business and no mess like others. really appreciate the effort that went behind, curating a great experience.

I am not going to say it's perfect but it does generally do it's job well. For some reason though it seems to like changing what I set it to filter and has added what was VIP or Important contacts or messages to the spam folder and vice versa... Not often but when it does its usually the worst possible moment for it to occur... Solid 80% out of 100%

horrible after recent update. I am not able to access my email folders. Contact support and tried everything. Its clearly a software issue rust need to be addressed ASAP. Samsung you want us to use the native apps for our phone but they are never fully tested and issues like this always happen. You wonder why people leave to go to apple. SMH.

This is, for me, the best email app available for Android devices but, there are some things this app doesn't get quite right. For example, when the app is configured with multiple accounts, and you receive an email in any of them, if you open said email from the notification pane you are taken to the message but, inside of the individual mailbox's inbox rather than the All Accounts inbox, meaning you have to remember to flip back. Also, no ability to monitor additional folders.

it's always been a good email app, but since the last update I can't seem to show the sender's full un-edited email address. It was quite simple on the old version and very helpful in identifying spam. Please tell where I'm going wrong.

there should have been a better explanation of how this app works, e.g., how do you edit? That's why I gave it 3 stars. These are not intuitive. I don't want to spend my time figuring these things out. Your question about is this app easy to use? Make it so.

pretty good app. I wish they would make the app number badge display the total number of unread emails rather than newly arrived emails so I can tell how many unread ones I have at a glance. I also wish that the app would remember my preference for sorting emails so that I do not have to continually fix the sort option to keep all my unread emails displayed first. But still a pretty good app.

The last version turned a fine sleek app into a wasteland. There's now a useless orange dot to the left of each unread message which are already in bold thus easy to identify. There's now an "earlier" divider that takes space that could otherwise be used to display a message. The fonts are too large now and there's no way to get rid of the message preview to allow more emails to fit in the limited screen space. I wish I could revert to the previous version.

The Samsung Email app mostly works alright. I find that sometimes my emails don't load fully even when I click Show Images. I really like the new update as of 2/2019. it organizes the inbox by date to make the email listing easier to view visually.

I really liked using this app, and note the liked - Samsung. I had a really nice easy on the eye, custom theme mail page and now I am left with glaring white and bold orange highlight, no wonder I have been rubbing my eyes today. I spent ages today trying to get my theme back unsuccessfully. If I can't customise back to my theme, I will seriously think about using something else for the health of my eyes.

I have no real issues while using this so far. my biggest request would be to allow for either a "dark" theme to ease the eyes and use less batteries.. or allow for custom styling altogether. I think some default settings would be nice too. Like being able to sort by read/unread automatically, allow the spam/junk folder to come up in the main section with the others, and the option to take different actions after deleting messages. Thanks guys.

I do not like this new updated version. I was much happier with the previous one. The new "Earlier" category email, is aggravating. Trash piles up after it shows deleted and the process must be repeated a few times before it is all cleared. There is also a difference in font that seemed to tag along on this update & does not allow the user to easily delineate between opened and unopened mail. Sorry, really disappointed with this one and would not recommend.
