App ChangeLog

  • Rebel Inc. Update 3 - The Tanks and Caves expansion
  • New map: Black Caves - this region is infamous for its imposing mountain range, riddled with underground cave networks. Insurgents will use these to hide and regroup, leaving towns and farms along the river under constant threat.
  • New Governor: Tank Commander - Equip your soldiers with tanks! Tanks are extremely powerful but have limited mobility. If only the Insurgents would stay where you want them to...

Rebel Inc is a complex, in-depth strategy game. Unfortunately, it's incredibly hard to figure everything out, while Plague Inc was intuitive and straightforward. Once you've spent a few hours learning the game, it's pretty fun. But it's also really hard. Frustratingly hard, and combine that with a steep learning curve, I almost uninstalled a few times. Lastly, as you beat levels you unlock 'advisors', woo-hoo! What's this? You need to buy the premium version to use them? Give me a break, Ndemic.

  2. rcm71-avatar

I've just finished the game in Normal. I must say that watching walkthrough on YouTube were a huge help. It's totally possible to play without paying (Not sure about brutal difficulty though).I loved the concept and personally it's more interesting than Plague, since you have to deal with the insurgents, you are more active as a player. One problem is that once you understand how things work, it's kinda of repetitive, since you can use practically the same strategies on every map and government.

  3. James Kenyon-avatar

If you want a challenging strategic game, I highly recommend this game. It's not easy, and it's not supposed to be. It takes trial and error of different tactics till you find the one that sticks and finally overcomes. In the free version, it's very difficult to win all standard maps on brutal, but it is possible. If you enjoy a challenge, and don't mind failing some, this is the strategy game for you.

Fun at first, and I love the developer other game. But this one, once you beat the mission on easy to progress to the next level, "normal" becomes a frustrating waste of time. It's unbeatable. You can't stop the insurgency once it starts. At least not without buying adviser or some other pay to win buff. I'm sorry but I no longer support this type of development strategy.

This game is fun, and not p2w: it's not too hard to play without advisors. Is there mega brutal difficulty though? Or it's only on PC? Oh btw. VERY IMPORTANT! Make pause button accessible without unfolding. It's really annoying to press additional button every time (I pause a lot). You could add a checkbox in settings that makes play/pause never fold. Also that would be cool to see the current concern icon in the zone bar when I click on it. Thx for another gem from a 500h plague Inc vet :P

I'm a premium user. At first everything looks fine. I enjoyed playing it. But later as it progress you will realized that it is almost impossible to win the next map. Well, there are cheats available (and I bought one of it) just later I realized that if you use cheat you will win the game but you won't be able to open the next map. So how to open the next map? Buy the map ofcoz. Word of advice, don't think about pay 2 win, because all they want is just for you to pay more n more. Disappointed!

  7. Kevin Reynolds-avatar

A really fun experience overall and it goes into a highly addicting, tactical gameplay. It's the right amount of difficulty for the game. You may see other comments about the game being impossible on "normal" difficulty, which can be deceiving. Beating every map with every person on brutal, I can say the game is very difficult, but not impossible. My advice is experiment with different tactics and what works with your style. I like to do 5-6 months spending on initiatives and save for the foght

Great game, the only problem is regions that give their full support will be attacked by insurgents at random in random places and you lose so much rep because of that along with you're constantly losing rep. I've been SO close SO MANY times in beating the game on brutal but just can't because insurgents attack regions at random at times making it unbeatable. If they didn't have that in game trust me brutal mode is beatable.

  9. Jake Pickett-avatar

A lot of depth to discover with learning which initiatives to deploy & when and managing inflation & corruption, which is initially very frustrating, but a lot of fun once you understand everything. When tips are turned off, you still get the same popups every time you play. These pop-up explanations become increasingly frustrating, especially when you are losing and don't need a popup to tell you why anymore. Besides that, it's pretty fun and unlocking things makes it fun to keep coming back.

Every game I've played by this studio has been great fun. Unlocking the scenarios and slowly increasing the difficulty keeps me entertained for hours. As soon as I have an income I'll be buying the full game, definitely holds up to the standard set by plague Inc. I see a lot of comments complaining it's impossible, you just need to pay through a couple times to get a feel for how to play. Once you understand what you're doing it's amazing so don't let them put you off!

  11. saucymemest-avatar

It seems a lot of work was really put into this app! The balance between fighting insurgents, stabilizing the region, and managing corruption is very challenging and enjoyable. The different governors and maps are a great feature. It forces players to change their play style and strategize their military placement and civilian/government initiatives! Unfortunately, after finishing all maps on brutal, there is nothing else to do. I'm looking forward to further development of this game!

  12. Marcus Wright-avatar

Good game, but there's needs to be more displayed information. For example, it's hard to tell what zones need what and when because you have to click each zone to see any information about it. Plus, levels greater than easy are Pay-to-Win. Without buying advisors the insurgency is nearly IMPOSSIBLE. I wouldn't mind dropping money on this game if it wasn't a Pay-to-Win; I hate that.

  13. Imamiablo-avatar

Very good game in general, but unlike their previous game, plague Inc, this one punishes if you don't pay money. You unlock something - you first have to pay in order to use what's must be a reward. Every centimeter of the screen reminds you of upgrading to premium. Although I bought both premium in plague Inc and steam version of the game, I did that on my own free will to support the developer, but here I just don't want to have anything to do with this demandful piece of greedy manure.

  14. Arni Laar-avatar

This is actually quite a good game. There are times when it feels like juggling chainsaws while riding a unicycle on top of a bowling ball, but that makes for a challenging and enjoyable time. However, being forced to upgrade to premium just to use more than half the features in the game is a solid negative that I could not overcome. Had to delete, but at least Plague Inc. Is still a thing.

  15. Jason Hasseman-avatar

Definitely regret paying for the full app. The drop in reputation for any little thing makes the game almost unwinnable, the impossibility of the military actually destroying the insugency adds to a dramatic drop in reputation making the game devolve quickly into straight war which, again, is almost impossible. Definitely needs a total rebalance.

  16. Daniel Soileau-avatar

Winning on brutal is almost completely luck based for most maps. Playing on normal isn't very challenging, but playing with any governor on brutal poses a huge challenge. The DLC maps make it even harder. On Azure Dam you're expected to stabilize a zone in the first year as well as fight insurgents, as well as repair the dam.

  17. Ilgin Azazi-avatar

Hi All, This game is difficult to set balance. Once you get how all works, its fun and challenging. Only wrong thing about the game is, the opportunity varies a lot. In diffulct mode, insergants appear near the base makes a lot more difficult to deal with. Also agreeing on a peace deal sometimes costs no reputation, sometimes it costs even 30 . I don't get the logic of that. The game otherwise is brilliant!!

  18. Brandon Damron-avatar

I have enjoyed the game and been able to beat most of the levels using different techniques. However, there is no reason to lose reputation for lack of stability. That's like saying you lose because you haven't won yet. Make events, let us see that a region wants something and respond to it. As it is you lose too quickly to a completely unanswerable statistic.

  19. SIXX Mahmud-avatar

a very well thought out offline strategy game well built and engaging, keeps you occupied and makes the name for a strategic game plus it allows to save and quit.. I would have loved to play against my friends in an offline multilayer though would be very entertaining.. in a versus mode.. plus it's offline what else do I need

  20. Corbyn Gilmour-avatar

I've seen many complaints about the reason for losing being unclear and I see this problem a lot as I play. Stability is an unexplained invisible stat that can plummet even when a region has all concerns met and serious improvements made. Security upgrades seem to do nothing. As for the generic reply, reddit is not part of your game, I should not need it to successfully play. Never needed it for plague inc. When I do win it feels like it's a random stroke of luck.

  21. Maddogkiller66-avatar

Fun game But the fact the insurgents just move zone to zone. With nothing at all stopping them makes this pointless in playing. "Stop the insurgents" sure id love to. If you could make more then 3$ per turn. Or maybe let me make an army with more the 6 mnths before i get attacked, Or maybe make it so one insurgent can't run ACROSS the map and mess everything up because your soldiers don't move fast enough. Plus it says stop the retreat. How? If you do they just run to the next zone. Trash

  22. LaryngitisNation n-avatar

It is a fun game until level 3. It says I have lost all my reputation due to lack of stability. I literally poured all of my money into rolling out, and civilian programs at one point and it didn't matter at all! I have spent hours on this and tried EVERYTHING, you physically cannot progress beyond the desert map because once the insurgents appear your rep goes into a freefall and nothing stops it. Fix your game

  23. ollie wilkes-avatar

Brilliant game! Beat all the standard maps on normal, then beat them all again on brutal. Brutal is very hard, almost impossible! It took so many retries, but it gave me a mission in quarantine. Beating everything on brutal unlocks content you otherwise would have paid for, which is a nice incentive to keep playing. Thanks ndemic for a great game.

  24. Conan Shaun-avatar

Gameplay, graphics and UI is awesome. What really sets this game back is the fact that it's near on impossible to beat the third area without purchasing premium. I'm still trying to purchase premium using my Google Play balance, though when I sign in as x account (with £7 balance), the only paying option I get is from account y on the same device (with £0 balance) so I'm unable to progress amy further in the game

  25. Tommy Gun1424-avatar

AWESOME!! It'd also be cool you can make a zombie version where you are playing as a Military General trying to contain a zombie pandemic in maps like cities or other places by placing a good number of permanent units that fight the hordes of zombies with helicopters and bomber jets in zones in the cities and not the type of units that will constantly ask to be withdrawn. I hope you guys can make it. You can make up the rest but please do what I put in, pls make it all free. Not to be rude.

  26. Stanley Chin-avatar

Really good strategy game, would recommend, its also somewhat realistic in how life in those countries work. However, i feel like something is missing that makes it even greater, maybe more content? Or being more immersive in seeing the changes the player makes? Some ideas abd suggestions here devs! Please keep updating, love the game.

  27. Random Shitposter-avatar

    Random Shitposter

A great concept and a fun game at first. Until level 3 normal. The insurgents occupy the area in seconds while my troops take ages to even reach that area. This is my 5th attempt and I have checked reddit and many videos. The game wont allow me to choose what governor I want to use too. If you pay for the premium version you can finish matches in half the time and use whatever governor you want. This game is pay to win. Extremely disappointed

  28. Clive Thien-avatar

I have completed all 5 standard maps with all generals under brutal difficulty, And still not gonna change my mind that this game is much inferior compared to plague inc. I can see the difference of effort in developing both games. Rebel inc is so luck based, and dull to play. Get a lucky insurgent placement, less demanding civilians, you win. Else, 30-40% into the game you would have known its time to restart, almost no way of saving the game using strategy.

  29. Roland Němec-avatar

It's soo good but not well suited for mobile devices. Unless you're willing to pay for the fast forward feature, it's very lengthy. Not something I would mind and I understand that the devs want some profit out of it, but just sayin' levels take too long to complete for a mobile game. Otherwise great

  30. Navonod 2487-avatar

This game is great, sure a few tweaks could be made but over all its a strategists dream, i wish you could actually see the fights that are taking place in more detail however, but i respect and enjoy the detail we have now, though it lacks a slight bit in content, 4 stars, good game

  31. Torbjörn Wemmenhög-avatar

    Torbjörn Wemmenhög

Pretty much as good as it gets: challenging enough for it to last over time, outstanding realism that really demands a high level of strategic planning and thinking, plus it is absolutely playable without having to pay real money for it. I recommend this game especially to scholars, politicians and military personnel!

  32. Tom Bickle-avatar

Mixed. To start with its really quite enjoyable but the more you play the more you realise the rules are very fluid.your troops are semi-permeable so they can drive an incursion force out of their tile but into a new tile that wasn't previously occupied. Stable regions that you thought secure will randomly fall to insurgency for no reason. Intentional or not a lot of this game boils down to luck so often I think I'm in control only to find 1/3 of the game collapse to a new insurgency.

  33. Liam DeLoof-avatar

I seriously enjoyed the game! It passed time, it was slightly difficult, but I already knew that was going to happen. The only reason I have 3 stars is because of transactions that are required to see your statistics. I've played plague inc. before, and there wasn't any required transactions, only ones that made the game easier. I will definitely still be playing it, but I will leave the review at 3 stars until it either changes, or allows you to see basic stats.

  34. Chris McKendry-avatar

Really liking this game so far. Dynamic, challenging, fun. So why only 3 star? I've purchased premium, and while it functions as intended, there's no purchase crossover to PC. If i want to play on PC, i need to purchase it again. Double dipping like that doesn't make me happy.

  35. Nicholas Nguyen-avatar

    Nicholas Nguyen

(Own the free and full version, completed both to 100% on brutal) Challenging game offering hours of gameplay. Gives the player much more control over the game than in Plague Inc, adding a strategic element to the game. Takes some chance to win on brutal without advisors, but very possible.

  36. Smokey G-avatar

The game is difficult but when you start on the easier level and learn the tactics and strategies you need you to use, then I wouldn't say it becomes easier but more fun. It's a game that has so much happening it makes you think. Great game, no problems so far.

  37. Miguel Rimando-avatar

Gotta love the RTS aspect of the game, each difficulty kind of changes the strictness and looseness of your strategy. The pay-to-win aspect is kind of limits the experience, but i guess this is one way of enabling the devs to make more games like this, and - in a way - i understand that. If there's anything i'd like to add to this game, it would be a multiplayer mode where one player controls the insurgents and the other controls the "rebels"? (I forgot what they're called)

  38. Vijay-avatar

1)Expenses rise gradually but income is same(3$/month), insurgens they outnumber whole country' military, n they still escaping manytimes even completely surrounded. 2) "normal" difficulty, it meams insane according to this game developer. Can't win even in 20 attempts on same map. This is no challenging this is sadism.3) I purchased premium nd have 4 advisors still it makes no difference and am regreting the purchase.

  39. Mr Mxyzptlk-avatar

Fun in the beginning, but it soon becomes clear that the later difficulty is designed to be impossible unless you pay money. Sad. Edit. - The devs answered by indirectly confirming my issue. In order to unlock anything at all you need to pay. Only after paying for Premium will you be able to, through play, unlock anything. Contrast this to Plague, inc. where you could, just by playing the game, unlock what you needed. Not so here. In Plague I bought extra stuff. Not in this game.

  40. Brian Stefanski-avatar

    Brian Stefanski

Very cool game! Very detailed and challenging, not your everyday game app, i purchased the full game, and would like to say it was well worth the money. If you like plague, you will definately love this game! 100% recommend to anyone looking for a game that is deep with an unlimited amount of scenarios and takes practice and patience to build skill, this is it! Thank you to the developers, absolute great and unique game!

  41. Jessica Plumley-avatar

    Jessica Plumley

This is a challenging strategy game that requires quite a bit of thought to win. Overall, it would be good if the insurgents did not have the complete advantage. The tutorial demonstrated that I could surround the insurgents and then kill them off. However, even upgrading to premium, making some in app purchases, buying all armies the game allows (which is not enough), and upgrading the weapons and airstrikes as much as possible, I still cannot defeat the insurgents in level 4. Plague is better!

  42. Kit Mandal-avatar

So this game is good and sneaky as well. Good on the sense you will love it. It's strategic, fun and has various options to control the outcome. Sneaky because a lot of special maps, extra features are locked behind a pay wall. They tease you with the option of unlocking them by winning in the hardest difficulty, but trust me. Without paying you cannot beat brutal difficulty, it is made in such a way that you will run out of reputation or money.

  43. Joe Blow-avatar

I uninstalled the app. Good speedy intelligent game playing in tutorial level but the next level up is flawed. The normal level has timer to beat which runs out too fast and is illogical in how it speeds up while you gain a cohesive control over the enemy in military strength and society structuring. Basically you lose when you should obviously win. If nobody cares to fix the simple flaw i won't waste anymore time with the app.

  44. PreciousCat-avatar

The next gen game from Ndemic, they did a very good job with this game. It's very engaging and strategic, yet simple enough to learn within a day's time. One thing I expected from this was a creator, like Plague Inc, that's why -1 star, but good job Ndemic! 👏👏👏

  45. Benny Thompson-avatar

This game is well built. But it is remarkably tough. I cannot, for the life of me, beat even the second level on normal. Maybe the game just isn't clicking with me, maybe the lads from Plague Inc. turned up the difficulty to encourage purchases. I don't know. Maybe reclaiming Rebel controlled sectors should reclaim reputation. Maybe I just don't got the jib...

  46. will J-avatar

Really the worst game I've ever made the mistake of paying for. Can't even get past the second level on normal difficulty to unlock the next one. Enemy can pop up anywhere whenever they want and instantly take a zone before my soldiers in the zone right next to it can even get there. Are these people cylons or something?

  47. Skedza-avatar

I was supposed to fully praised the game for its potential and unique sense of play. I've read the comments and wondered why they gave a bad rating. Now I can see why... They had to forcely let you lose on the third map (Southern Desert) everytime you play.. When you start the map and hit at the year 2005, for no reason you'll gain a continously growing reputation lost.. I got 5 squads on the map, cleared every rebel and have meet the needs of the people. And still that reputation drop ruins it

  48. Roy Garcia-avatar

You made this way to hard and in some factoring ways unrealistic. Im doing the 3rd level on brutal and you would think i could atleast get one zone established or atleast gain some kind of reputation but no. Insurgents keep coming out of the blue without warning it seems like sometimes and there is too many for me to keep up with and when i do, i cant keep up with the rep and support. This game needs some serious balancing if im going to win brutal. Makes it unfun. Other then that.. I like it...

  49. david kruger-avatar

The first time I played the game I bought a few cheats and generals and I enjoyed my initial play through. I completed all the given maps and unlocked basically everything through purchases and normal progress. The problem is now with getting a new phone I signed in with my Google play account and it does not re-upload my old progress or purchases. Please fix as I don't feel like doing eveything over again...

  50. keshav nuwal-avatar

Completed the game in just 1 day.. This game is so addictive.. And to others who r saying u have to buy premium to beat the level , dude play some rookie lvl strategy game than come to this.. U just cannot pass those levels in brutal difficulty.. Whatever u do u just cannot, to unlock those special zones u have to buy premium, that's the sad part.. Its just greedy on ur side to not give us even a chance to play the new zones without paying.. I love this game, but developers are way too greedy

As someone who has served in a post 9/11 military, I was blown away by the point of realism in this game. The game mechanics are very similar to plague, despite having a different subject matter. Moreover, this game does not use ads, micro transactions, or any of the other BS that most mobile he's use. Easily worth the 3 dollars that I paid.

  52. Bekad Baens.-avatar

A very great game. I truly enjoyed it, but I would like to have a governer that have specialities all governers combined. I also would like a new similar game, but the point of the game is complete opposite. Your aim is to become what type of country leader you want. Whether you are a dictator, charismatic leader or corrupted leader. That would be significantly greater than this game. Thank you for bringing joy to mobile users worldwide, I appreciate your effort.

  53. Konstantinos-avatar

After playing the "Plague" this is another excellent game from the same company. I have beaten all maps in normal mode now and it did take me some time in order to master the game. Well, that s the beauty of it. Millenials who complain about the difficulty should just stick to easy mode or download another candy crush.

  54. Ryan Lucas Canama-avatar

This is a good game but a slow and challenging one because You can't use the advisers given to you because you need premium for that. I think many people would have downloaded this if the premium was either worth it or if there was no premium at all.

  55. GoogleMeNow-avatar

I had this game on iPhone and now I bought it on my android too. Very well made game just as plague is. Never underestimated devs on having their game quality lack so expectations were high and they delivered. Nice gameplay a fair bit of replayability for unlocking all the characters unless you will pay some extra. I enjoy it a lot and if you did plague like me you will enjoy this game too

  56. Criseist-avatar

Great game, but holy hell brutal needs to be fixed. Enemy has 4 rural tiles and I'm winning fights, and the game thinks insurgents are running rampant, lose 2 reputation a second. I have no idea how I'm supposed to fight that when the game is unwilling to wait for what I do to actually run its course. Balance needed. Edit: Thanks for the response, and sorry if I genuinely am doing something wrong. It does feel like the game is rather quick to call it quits, perhaps that's mirrored in irl data.

  57. Nicholas DeSante-avatar

This is a fun game, however, I paid $16 for the "cheats pack" only to realize that I can't actually use them to cheat! Yes it gives me the "cheats" but I'm not allowed to make any progress! I understand how some cheats can make the gameplay too op and so I get that some cheats would disable progress. However, some cheats make the game more challenging! Additionally, yes the cheat to start with $1000 is helpful, but will decrease by inflation if you don't plan well, so why is there no progress?

  58. aamnotsure e.-avatar

This is a great game. There is a lot of fun to be had hear. But this game gets insanely hard as you progress. If you dont know how the insurgency mechanics work, you will not be able to progress without paying. I feel like a bit too much is behind a pay wall like statistics and advisors. It is understandable to have a premium version for the sake of being able to maintain the game, but it feel like a bit too much was taken away. Its still a good game, but I feel some parts can be balanced better

  59. Pankaja Kulatunge-avatar

Brilliant game, but it would be much better if you can make the game's Reputation system more refined, this is that it.needs to wait until the policies I implement actually run its course. But other than that, except you having to purchase the premium for all the good pieces of the game, I thoroughly enjoyed my experience. I hope you make more games like this, specially battle strategy.

  60. Johannes Kirestos-avatar

Its a nice game. It gives u a simulation of governing a country and its challenges.but the reason i gave it 3 stars is all lvls are the same in a d/t map,and u'll get bored of it after a while. I wish for the developers to add additional unique lvls and challenges to the game.

  61. Abby Rowe-avatar

Really fun game to play. I expected it to be difficult as the pictures of the game looked a bit confusing but it's really easy to get the hang of. It's very similar to plague inc, so if you enjoyed that game I think you would like this game aswell. :)

  62. Viktoriia-avatar

Upd: And they copy the same answer to everyone, it makes it even worse. Review: Fun in the beginning, very frustrating after. Yes, it's possible to win, if you pay. I paid but then game becomes more and more brutal and you cannot progress and game wants you to pay again. And again. It's a trap. Pay to unlock this, pay to unlock that. I paid for Plague and that game was fun. This one is not. Very disappointing. Also all you do is fight insurgents. All other aspects and developments of the country are secondary and impossible to fully explore. I feel cheated.

  63. Nate The Pnda-avatar

This was a very well thought out game, the scenarios which encapsulate the player are realistic and engaging. This game for sure is very entertaining and I will be spending a large amount of time on. I would recommend this game to fans of Plague Inc. It is not the same game but it does share it's fun and feels accomplished just as last time. 5/5, I would gladly buy the premium

The game was amazing but needs some more additions. Firstly, Mega Brutal should be added. Secondly, there should be scenarios in the game just like Plague Inc.. Lastly, I suggest adding the Salt Mine map in which one has to protect the Salt mines and beaches from a new opponent, Loyalists which are just like insurgents but more stronger.

  65. tre m-avatar

It's a fun game with alot of depth. However, it doesn't make sense that insurgents keep taking over zones at such a fast pace. The reputation decreases way too quickly. Especially at the rate that you get funds, which makes it so difficult to have enough military to surround the insurgents. Also we are limited to 4 national soldier units and 4 coalition forces. At one point you run out of coalition, but 4 national units are not enough to surround insurgents and also defend 100% support zones. Fo

Initially I rated it a 4, but after playing the desert level with the general on normal difficulty about 20 times I'm convinced it's designed to make you pay. I dont mind paying for games I enjoy and it's just not that enjoyable when a game is this difficult on normal difficulty. I've been playing strategy games since civ 2, some 20 years ago, so I'm no stranger to problem solving. I def would not pay for this game until they fix the insane number of rebels popping up.

  67. Lunar Conduit-avatar

I was just about to pay for premium and decided to check the reviews to see if it was a one time payment or live service. The reviews changed my mind. Most of them have complaints about the difficulty of the game after purchase. And most of the good reviews still have a complaint about something. Even more concerning is the reply bot messages. They're quite dismissive. The dev has given a contact email for feedback, which reviewers have reported as a dead link. I expected better from Ndemic.

  68. Shane Robinson-avatar

Wisely uses similar mechanics to their smash hit "Plague, Inc." but with increased complexity and new mechanics for a fresh strategic experience. Two quick tutorials cover basically everything you need to know to play in less than two minutes and are well worth it, though optional. Great game!

  69. Jason Stewart-avatar

I like the game but there are a few things that I just dont like. First off you have to pay for the advisors, whereas in Plague Inc. you could earn the different dna strains. Second is the way the "side missions" pop up randomly with no real explanation to any of it. Overall its a good strategy game but so much more could be done to make it better.

Its a very good and easy game. The controls are great. Its also better than Plague. inc as it is educational by teaching us about corruption and other things. It is like you are the sheikh/president of a country and you have to stabilize it. It is also a very good strategy game. The only update i want is to make it future designed and upgrade the weapons for you units/army. I highly recommend this game for you

  71. Lion of Judah-avatar

This could've been potentially A GREAT GAME! But because you have to pay for literally everything it brings down the level of enjoyment; the devolpoers of the game made it as a net for money, instead of a game that broke people like me can enjoy 😧 but I get it, they need that money. But if I were them I would at least make the speed up button free.

  72. Valery Makarau-avatar

Absolutely awful The first stage is doable but the second they really ramp it up. The bad guys spawn in at an incredible rate and are very very very strong. You are very limited financially to deal with them. Not very well thought out. I don't think the developer played its own game here. Play the first stage. Have some fun but uninstall after that.

  73. C Tilma-avatar

It's hard but not impossible. I just beat the game and didn't spend a dime. Kudos to these developers, when more maps are released I will buy premium. All the comments from people saying you need to buy premium, no you don't. Learn how to play the game, and if your playing the easiest mode, then maybe strategy games aren't for you 🤷‍♂️

  74. Sean Harvey-avatar

It's a great strategy game, with an achievement based system that makes you keep coming back. In a market filled with games that are 'play once and move on' it's good to finally have something to invest time into.

  75. Morgan Suckow-avatar

All these reviews saying "it's unwinnable without buying premium" are ticking me off. I spent several months playing this, and was able to beat every level on every difficulty without ever buying premium. I have recommended this to anyone J know that plays mobile games because it is both challenging, and immensely rewarding to EARN every single unlock through sheer tactical prowess. TLDR: it is 100% possible to beat this whole game without spending a dime, and 100% worth your time to do so.

  76. Ryan Kyle-avatar

Very cool idea and thought through very well. Really enjoyed the complexity, but also the simplicity. It's just hard enough to appreciate and enjoy, but not so complex you need a PC to play and hours burned. A perfect simulation game with food dimensions.

  77. Rob Abraham-avatar

The game initially sounds good and entertaining, but even after you pay to be able to do some basic gaming, it's design in a way that if you constantly don't pay it's impossible to advance! Huge disappointment!

  78. The Rebellion-avatar

I would like to have the availability to play the whole version of the game without a paywall when it comes to governors and advisors you cant run a country without delegates right? Update: the paying part will REALLY make u wonder weither or not this game is pay to win. Or if the company that made it is getting greedy. Ill tell you which is which they are getting greedy and wont change! Re: UPDATE: they also seem to only be bot responding any issues with their games.Way to keep TAKING L'S!

I've been playing mobile games since the day it was invented and this is the only game I paid premium for. It was really worth it. Honestly, game's not fun if you just started. You don't know what you're doing, You don't know how to play it, etc. But when you get the feel of it. It makes you feel like a real life General, controlling armies and making peace. So far best strategy game I played.

Not worth it. Progressing is near impossible without purchasing premium. Being unable to use the advisors we work to unlock is not only unfair, but causes the game to become so difficult that its no longer worth it to play. The gameplay is tedious with no payoff. I was able to complete Plague Inc without using premium by making use of the buffs I unlocked. But here, the devs tease us by unlocking the buffs, but not allowing us to use them without purchasing premium. I expected more from Ndemic.

  81. Adam Brown-avatar

I tried to email the devs but they gave an invalid email address. This game used to be a ton of fun and you could play all the way through and unlock everything without having to pay. Because of that and how much fun I had, I did pay a few bucks for a couple characters. That's not how it is now. Bottom line this game is pay to win now. It CANNOT be beaten no matter what you do and that's on normal. I used to beat this on brutal with a difficult but fair challenge. The devs ruined the game for $

Great concept, however, brutal is impossible. My biggest gripe is with troop movement speeds. Even while front loading the start with initiatives and government programs, the rebels move way to quickly. It takes 2 sometimes 3 months for your troops to move to an ADJACENT zone only to get demolished by the occupying rebels who have also spread to all the surrounding zones because for them it takes only one month to do that it seems. Great game on normal. Fix the troop movement on brutal.

  83. Meta-avatar

This game is definitely a 5/5 stars gameplay wise. Most games on the play store and IOS store are just cash grabs and mindless games. This is not that. These developers take pride in there games, and i respect that heavily, so i will be purchasing premium to support this company. The only thing I can request is to improve the UI. Everything is great, but the graphic design of the UI could be improved upon. Thank you gentlemen for a wonderful game and many more wonderful experiences.

  84. No Body-avatar

Edit: Gameplay is solid and frankly the full version is worth buying if you like strategy games like plague inc or others. Would be better to be very upfront about needing to do this, but minor issue. What IS an issue is the RNG aspect to Brutal difficulty, especially in Steppes. It's simply a waste of time to play through instead of restart when losing, and every comment on the subreddit for this game I see regarding this agrees. RTS games with RNG to win are not fun.

  85. Ishav Sethi-avatar

Great game but there are a few flaws 1) the tutorial is not upto the mark. 2) absurd increase in difficulty in maps 5 and 6 even in normal mode which makes the game frustrating. 3) if you missed out on the Civilian upgrades in the first year then you can't manage stability no matter what. 5) green military should be unlimited as having money but still not able to use it is frustrating. 6) everything cool is locked behind a paywall

  86. Raedi Aufar-avatar

After completing all 5 standard maps on Brutal difficulty, I can say that the game is good. This game is more "strategic" than Plague Inc. Rebel Inc. might be difficult at start, and Normal difficulty can feel like Brutal, but once you understand the game you can easily got 5* on Brutal. I hope in the next update, Mega Brutal will be added and maybe new type of units will be added (I hope in the future there'll be insurgents with tanks and helicopter units)

  87. Michael Scroggins-avatar

    Michael Scroggins

Great game at first, but it is clearly made you be impossible at the brutal difficulty. And I paid for the premium version so I should have "unlocked" the abilities necessary to beat the harder settings. But the fact is the insurgency levels in the brutal settings are simply too strong to actually achieve success. Big fan of Ndemics games, and LOVE plague inc (and can beat all scenarios in that game in brutal), so it is disappointing to see they made this game so difficult as to not be fun.

  88. Bret Kimewon-avatar

First review ever This is a breath of fresh air from Plauge Inc. For one the Insurgents are an active real time threat. Rather than a timer you have to beat. The different maps you can choose from is a really good addition. It's a lot better when you can play on a new map with your new governor. Unlike Plague And finally how you are able to communicate with other nations. And feel like you're interacting with the the world rather than spectating it.

The game is excellent to pass your time At the start I was a bit confused with the controls but after 2 round I've got into it, now it make a lot of fun to play the game. Ther is just one little thing that is annoying, it's the requirement of the premium version. You can play the game without it but with the premium version you get a lot of advantages and help to get better in this game. All in all the makes a lot of fun to play.

  90. Ardhi Utama-avatar

The game is almost UNPLAYABLE in the Normal Difficulty level... The stability and reputation level are almost impossible to control in this level; PLUS, the rebels are too strong to counter. The game simply UNPLAYABLE in this current situation. And believe me, I'm a gamer. I'm not a random dude who loves to brag alot.... The concept of the game is FANTASTIC, but the implementation is awful.

  91. Jay Sandoval-avatar

Pretty fun in concept. But none of the levels are realistically playable without the in-game purchase contents other than the first level. I wouldn't download it, it's big potential but in the end just another shameless cashgrab.

  92. Tim Hehman-avatar

This is a rather fun and complex game that fits in with the plegue inc style but its slightly more hands on. Would recomend to anyone with an afinity for complex and intiment games with many potential strategys. The only complant that i have is that there isent an effective way to learn the basics other than simpily going to 'trial by fire' Also its vary hard past the first few levels

  93. Mark unknown-avatar

It's an ok game to pass time... replay ability is useless so it's best to avoid spending money. Brutal difficulty is nearly impossible even with everything unlocked. Brutal being so difficult and not decision based, but luck of the draw based makes you realize how little fun you are having. You could do exactly what you are supposed to do and may still take 100 games to beat it.

  94. Théotime C-M-avatar

As an analyst of the Syria/Iraq conflict zones since 2015 I must say that this game is pretty realistic, and so satisfying on the easier difficulties! I wish it were so easy in real life... If you're looking for realism, you should try to play in the "Brutal difficulty".

  95. Aaron O'Shea-avatar

Almost unplayable. You run out of reputation so quickly before you get any money to actually do anything. Every level is the same. The insurgents take over areas in seconds when it takes an eternity to generate the army units. The game is out of balance. Please do not send the standard response that you have sent to seemingly every other person. Fix the game. That would be more helpful. Nobody cares about Reddit either. Update: standard nonsense response received.

This is a good game I like it so far but I have a problem with this game the only that make me feel uncomfortable to playing this game, let's just say there's a zone 1 and zone 2 zone 1 need Water Supply. Zone 2 need Education. After reading this I immediately upgrade Water Supply first but the water supply is build in zone 2, and zone 1 don't get the Water Supply I'm sorry if you don't understand what I'm saying because I'm indonesian but I think you have to fix this Ndemic Creation.

  97. J Gibbs-avatar

Update: not sure if it was a glitch earlier but the game is working now. Seems like a different game entirely now. Old review: "Frustrating, how am I supposed to contain and destroy the insurgents when they can pass right through my army occupied areas. I had one group litterally walk through my advancing army and one of the armies I had stationed to block them in."

  98. Dallas Ray-avatar

I hate this game, the ai cheats and has units retreat when they are boxed in which is supposed to be the only way to eliminate them. Insurrections occur in areas that have few or no hostiles present. For some reason your failure instance is 'reputation' yet you can have full support over multiple regions yet have no reputation. Overall it is a bad representation of what it is trying to be with the whole political insurrection thing. In the end it is just a very very bad version of Democracy 3.

  99. Rob Green-avatar

The game is certainly fun, but way too overwhelming at times you cant take your eye off the screen for a moment without risking loosing reputation and loosing the game. Decisions give no foresight you're gambling every time you choose something. Addition 4/4/20: After having played the game for a while I've learned that my previous complaints was more so a challenge of realistic decisions. I more so had a problem with the pace of the game that is adaptable given you continuously play game.

Great game, but needs a little more work on reputation and the game needs to incorporate modern socio-economics. Book drives and the like need to increase reputation, flat out. No really, the reputation system is all over the place and needs overhauled.
