The camera scans multiple barcodes, the red line is missing - unusable on this phone (Pixel 3, android 11)

App is good but it has some problems that need to be resolved before it can really be deployed. Firstly when scanning it drains the battery. It cannot last the full 45 minutes or so that it needs to for scanning purposes. Secondly the time keeping is good but in the wet it is a problem, alleviated by using the volume buttons for splits, but still a little water on the screen either makes the screen unusable or adds extra splits.

Overall it's pretty good but can't get the QR code scanner working.

Hard to see barcode with camera image displayed in portrait mode...need option of landscape mode for scan window.

This worked really well at the Bath Skyline parkrun yesterday. One suggestion - tapping the screen for the timings in the rain is tricky. How about an option of using one of the buttons on a headset to drive the timings, and for confirmation, relay the latest position number vocally to the earphones? That way you can keep your phone dry in your pocket and your hands stay warm 🙂

Barcode scanning:people have to hold their barcodes and tokens so far away to get a scan, it's time consuming and awkward. I have a huawei p30 pro. The last app worked fine & camera works great in other apps. Timekeeping is good. Just the problematic barcode scan and no option to change settings, tried the beta trial version & didn't scan so back to latest version of long distant scanning. Seems to be problematic for some phones. My daughters xiaomi is fine.

Scanned codes for the first time Saturday and worked really well. Don't get the low scores realting to scanning at all. Have one plus 6t so android and all worked fine. No red line and smaller screen area than iPhones but still fine. Scanned athlete and position at same time if presented that way. Really snappy response and uploaded great. Could absolutely do with some tweaking but worked great.

It would appear with the Android version, that the scan area isn't zoomed/adjusted to the part of the screen that is being used, and the whole camera view is instead showing. This is what I believe is causing all the complaints. The scanner part itself isn't functioning correctly on Android - it's not about the individual cameras on each brand and model. Fix the scanner part of the app itself. ALSO, include some token support area. The ability to edit a field to add the position number if that doesn't want to scan, or manually add the A number and a position. For that matter, include incident reporting as well, it can be submitted to the webFMS the same way as the results.

Used the app at.my local parkrun last week. I struggled to get barcodes to scan and had to constantly send participants to other scanners. At the end of parkrun I couldn't scan the QR code. Tried uninstalling and reinstalling and I'm still having issues. I'm able to scan using the old parkun stopwatch and scanner app. Using an Android phone

This app struggles to focus the camera correctly on my OnePlus. Runners often can't hold the barcode steady enough and the camera takes an age to focus if it does so at all. Camera works fine in other apps. My wife's iPhone worked fine but I noticed differences in the app. The camera window is very small in android and there is no horizontal red line showing where the barcode will be scanned. This app wouldn't scan pink wrist bands. Great idea and works well on iPhone but not on my OnePlus !
