If there is one app on the entire store that absolutely should not have ads, it's the AUSTRIAN FEDERAL BROADCAST'S NEWS APP! And it definitely should not have huge ads that not only take up most of the screen, but also slow the app down to a crawl on a device with a Snapdragon 860 and 8 GB RAM. The constant barrage of ads on mobile devices is bad enough as it is, but in this app, it is utterly unforgivable. Still, 2/5 stars because the mobile version of the ORF news website is even worse.

I like the app but it still crashes my phone. I will try again in half a year but I am not very optimistic.

Would be good if the ORF would invest in IT and better servers to avoid delays in loading news and actually be able to watch a video... Have no issues with any other app, BBC, CNN, SCMP, etc. Go and benchmark and look across the boarder on how it should be done...

don't forget media is also a business enterprise selling news ,Anand business stinks with the GIS firstly elecoms charges u annually then owning an internet at home for telephones or tablet makes u vulnerable for rundfunk gebuehr, though u don't own a radio or tv, RIdiculously LAW or whatever u called it IT STINKS MK16

Liebes App-Team, Die "Young & Urban" Werbung von Spar, die aktuell in der App gezeigt wird, verlangsamt die App massiv. Die ganze App wird so langsam, dass scrollen und klicken zwei oder drei ganze Sekunden verzögert ist. Hier liegt definitiv ein Problem vor, wahrscheinlich JavaScript-bedingt. Sobald die Werbung geschlossen wird, läuft die App wieder völlig normal. Aktuell ist die App dadurch unverwendbar.

Videos spielen nur Werbung ab, der eigentliche Inhalt wird dann nicht angezeigt. Das kann nicht am Betriebssystem scheitern. Auch nach app update bleibt das Problem bestehen.

Hat lange toll funktioniert. Seit einiger Zeit führt die Benutzung der App allerdings dazu dass die ganze UI einfriert, und ich entweder die App über den Task Manager beenden muss oder das ganze Telefon neustarten muss. Kann man sich das eventuell ansehen?
