Switched to a new server and when I tried logging in to my account, nextcloud app says "testing connection" for a long time and then says "the server took too long to respond." Only "solution" that seems to exist out there is to disable the bruteforce security settings, which seems sketchy and it's not even clear how exactly to do that. Also it looks like this has been an ongoing issue for at least 4 YEARS and Nextcloud still hasn't figured out how to fix it. 🤦♂️

Open Source at its best! You can get it up and running in Docker in less than 2 minutes. It took me however a bit longet the first time as it needed a hard reboot of the server to work. A "sudo reboot" wasn't enough. NextCloud is soooo much better than the incumbent from the US! Thanks to the team of NextCloud for all their hard work and dedication.

I haven't really had any issues with the app itself. Occasionlly it will fail to auto upload a pic, but it will retry on its own and usually succeed.

Excellent app but please look at this bug. App crashing after adding folders to sync. Going to setting Clicking on add folder After adding folder and giving permission If i try to click add folder again App getting crashed please look at this U people done a great job actually, thank u

Now the App is syncing all my stuff in the Nextcloud and I don't find an option to confige what it should aync. Or at least an option that is shouldn't do all that unwanted syncing with my mobile data. Otherwise it seems fine. From before: Often just stops loading while syncing. Is there a way to auto sync folders? My OS says that Nextcloud isn't responding and it seemes that it stops Nextcloud after some time, even so I am always telling it to wait.

The nonfunctional video player is now - functional. Going into full screen shouldn't require two taps though. There's also some bugs abound where you'll either have to refresh a few times to see everything or you might just not. It would also be better if Favorited locations just took you to the location as if you browsed there - or if it allowed sorting. Also it would be nice if Favorited locations were available if destination file operations like movr/copy. Still this app is improved, yay!

Downloading files to local filesystem is very inconvenient. The "download" button caches files somewhere in ./Android/data/whatever, and then you have to use a third party file manager to copy those files to Documents/Downloads/etc... folder.

In many ways, the Nextcloud is a great system. However, the android client still needs some polishing. For instance, the upload of pictures is not stable.
Tom Shanahan
Really like the app but still buggy. Loading photos just stops at arbitrary number, also would be nice to group by year.
Ryan Towns
Mostly works as intended. Managing the auto upload feature can be problematic since it causes the app the crash alot of the time.
