Virtual Fracture Care

In the Virtual Fracture Care app (formerly OLVG Trauma app) you will receive an immediate answer to all your questions regarding the treatment of your injury. The user chooses which hospital he / she is a patient at. The app then shows the correct data for the hospital in question. We have the vision that patients everywhere in the Netherlands should receive the same treatment and information. We improve and expand the content of the app together. In this way, we try to ensure uniform, high-quality information for all patients with fractures. All hospitals in the Netherlands are welcome to join the app.

In the app you will find answers to questions such as: How long does my recovery take? What exercises can I do to promote recovery? How should I handle plaster? What if the plaster gets wet? You will find photos and videos with explanations.

In addition, the app offers the possibility to fill in a contact form. You can use this, for example, when you get a fracture abroad and want advice about a treatment, or, for example, to send a photo of a wound so that you can watch it remotely.
