Live a healthier, more active life with Fitbit, the world’s leading app for tracking all-day activity, workouts, sleep and more. Use the app on its own to track basic activity and runs on your phone, or connect with one of Fitbit’s many activity trackers and the Aria Scale to get a complete picture of your health—including steps, distance, calories burned, sleep, weight, and more.

TRACK ACTIVITY: Accurately record your steps and distance with MobileTrack when you carry your phone. For all-day tracking of stats like calories burned, active minutes, and sleep, pair the app with a Fitbit tracker.

RUN SMARTER: Enhance runs, walks and hikes by using MobileRun to track your pace, time and distance. You can also control your music, get voice cues and use your phone’s GPS to map your routes. (Continued use of GPS running in the background can dramatically decrease battery life.)

RECORD WORKOUTS: Use your Fitbit tracker to track your exercise, then check the app to see your stats, their impact on your day, and how your performance is improving.

MONITOR HEART RATE: Use a Fitbit tracker with PurePulse™ to analyze heart rate graphs in the app. Identify trends, manage stress and see the results of your workouts. Review resting heart rate trends to see when your fitness is improving.

LOG FOOD FASTER: Easily log calories with our barcode scanner, calorie estimator, and expanded food database of more than 350,000 foods. See your meal history at a glance, and get nutritional insights.

MEASURE HYDRATION: Quickly log your water intake to make sure you’re properly hydrated during workouts and throughout the day.

SET & MANAGE GOALS: Create weight, nutrition and exercise goals, and start a food plan to stay on track. Then get a visual picture of your progress with colorful, easy-to-read charts and graphs.

SEE HOW YOU SLEEP: Set sleep goals in the app, and use a Fitbit tracker to monitor how much time you spent awake, restless or peacefully sleeping.

SHARE & COMPETE: Connect with friends and family by sharing stats, sending direct-messages, and competing on the leaderboard or in Fitbit Challenges.

STAY MOTIVATED: Get a nudge in the right direction with notifications that pop up when you’re close to reaching a goal or have already met one.

SYNC WIRELESSLY: Fitbit trackers sync your stats to computers and 200+ leading devices so you can continuously track your progress without needing to plug in.

MANAGE WEIGHT: Connect wirelessly to the Aria Scale to seamlessly track your weight, BMI, lean mass and body fat percentages, and to see your weight trends over time.

Reviews From google play store

After the last two updates, this app has tanked. Terribly. Syncing issues. Tracking issues. Can't tell you how many times this has been reset 🙄 along with the watch and bluetooth. The apps performance definitely is not what it was and after spending so much on a watch, to have to spend more money on certain things in the app I had when they came out that they chose to take away, sucks. Meh.

WHEN and IF the app works, it's great. However it rarely works. I have to run an update almost every time I want to check my stats. It will show 0 for days in all categories except calories so I know its syncing with my actual fitbit to some extent, it just never loads the data. So frustrating to not be able to see and track what you want, when you want. Then after you've tried every trick in the book, randomly a day later everything pops up. Plleeaassseee fix!

Worked great until the last update. I can no longer receive text messages or notifications on my versa. I have called into tech support many times. Each representative just walks me through the same troubleshooting steps with the issue not being resolved in the end. Very disappointed. **Update. It has now been 6 weeks without being able to receive notifications on my Fitbit. Still have not had any updates on the progress of this issue.

The Fitbit app is great when it syncs, which isn't often. It hasn't synced properly for me since I bought my first Fitbit on Prime Day. And when I try to manually sync it, I more often than not get an error message. I'm posting this on 11/16, and the last successful sync was 11/6. I just tried several times and got an error message each time. I shouldn't have to repeatedly try to restart my phone or re-install the app to make it work. Very frustrating and disappointing.

I have had my Fitbit now for almost a year. I like having it when it works like it was described upon purchase but I have had bad experiences in the past and again just recently. Reading the reviews it looks like all the most recent once basically are saying the same thing.... won't sync, can't receive notifications.... things like that. Then Fitbit support replies with same response. Why can't they just admit there is an issue and they are working on it. We are not fools. There is a problem.

My experience so far has been the same reported by other users. I have a Charge3 and had a great experience with this device and app until a couple of months ago when it stopped syncing. I sync the device in another digital system, but the app on the phone would not update. I tried all recommendations, turn Bluetooth on and off, and nothing. I had to delete de app and install it again. But even so, it will only sync the first time I open the app. So I have to start over again installing it.

This used to be a good app, but after the last update it went downhill, and now won't work at all. Basically, the app will no longer sync my fitbit to my phone so I can't keep track of what I've done. I thought it may have been an issue with my new Samsung, but it won't sync to my old HTC either. I've tried all the 'fixes' from Fitbit and others that I've found via Google but nothing works. Looking at the Fitbit community pages it seems like I'm not the only one having issues.

Used to be great. Over the last few months there has been updates that ruined a perfectly good app. The app can no longer sync with the device no matter how you try to sync it (uninstall/re-install, reset, set up Wi-Fi, etc.). I have read and tried EVERYTHING! Sometimes I will get a sync but it'll only last a couple of days. The only other option now is to go with another brand.

This app was good for most of the year, my watch would always get notified of alerts from my phone, from January to October. For some reason after the last update, it has been terrible. The notifications come when they want, I have to go to the App to sync manually, sometimes that doesn't even work. I recently tried to reinstall the App, that doesn't work either. Constant problems with syncing with my phone, if it would have been like this from the beginning, I would have returned the watch.

I have always loved the app and would give a 5 star review, but in the recent weeks I have had nothing but trouble out of Fitbit. My main thing is the sync issue. It has NEVER been a problem, and now a sync doesn't last but a few hours, even after going over the tips.. Very aggravating! *Update 11/12/19*-Contacted Fitbit customer support on 2 different occasions. Finally they proceeded with a warranty claim and they're sending me a new watch. Hopefully I won't have any problems out of this one.

This used to be great. I had an old HR that never missed a beat, then I got a Versa. It has been disconnecting and requesting phone restarts every other day for the past few months. Im annoyed from missing notifications and calls, but I've lived with it. Now it's requesting a firmware and software update. It says switch from Bluetooth to WiFi and neither work. I've now performed a factory reset and I'm trying to uninstall the app on my phone and it won't uninstall. What's left? It's now useless.

When everything works, this is one of the best ways to keep track of all health aspects of your life... Sadly it only rarely works and the support staff barely understands English so I've been having to deal with disconnects, unpaired devices and random reboots all the time. I would highly recommend another device that's more stable until they decide to fix this. *After speaking with their support again, I'm just told my phone isn't compatible and they aren't able to help. Absolutely awful!

It was wonderful. Now, right in the middle of a competition, it quits. Everytime I charge it, I have to uninstall and reinstsll my app, turn my fitbit off and on. This time, still not working! Boo! So, it took a phone call and walking through every step online plus a couple. It is working, but I will have to manually log my steps in my competition at work. Love my fitbit. Support - could be better.

The latest update sucks! It started with my Fitbit not syncing. So I tried all the normal steps. Still nothing. Ended up unpairing my fitbit and now it refuses to let me pair it again! Hope they fix this fast. I paid a lot of money and went through a ton of issues before with a faulty device. Hope I don't have to do this again. By the looks of all these reviews youd think Fitbit would get their act together and fix the issue rather than telling everyone to read an article. Just fix the issue.

Latest update slowed the connection between my watch and my phone, I now spend more time trying to sync it than before. However, that app is incredibly detailed, almost like the webpage, if it weren't for the syncing issues. Also, the period tracker is a waste of time if you can't actually save any of the "extra" information like flow type, mood, or other symptoms of PMS. I'll stick with Clue, nice try though.

I have the Fitbit charge 2 and have had the watch and the app for two years. However the app is now asking to pay for premium if you want to know how many times you were restless when asleep or how your heart rate was when asleep. These two features were previously accessible and did not need to be paid for. Not happy. The new premium may have new features, but I'm not paying £79.99 a year for an app!!!

I've been a Fitbit user since 2013. At first I was excited about my Versa 2 up until about a week ago. It no longer allows me to swipe left or down. I've updated the app, restarted my phone, and restarted my device several times. Nothing works. I also can't turn off my alarms or get access to change my alarms or timers. It's very frustrating and disappointing. Will most likely be returning it.

Used to like it. Now, after the update, doesn't show me the texts not emails easily. It doesn't wipe them off after I open them on my phone like before. I also noticed it doesn't track my bpm as well as it used to. It doesn't communicate as well with the watch. I keep getting messages of how long it's been since it last synced, like if it can't find it.

I hate how when these reviews get responses, they are always saying "do this, do that". Thank you for the ideas but the app itself is really the problem here if so many people are having issues. I'm still having issues no matter what suggestions are given to me or what device I try to connect it to. My fitbit might as well be a paper weight at this point. Please developers, just try to fix the app bug or problem.

In the last few days, my watch has stopped syncing with the app. It doesn't even show the correct time, and it doesn't work to try and force sync it because it says there is no device found! The only way to get it to sync is to delete the app and start over, but even that only works for a few hours. I currently have the versa and was thinking about upgrading for Christmas, but at this point, fitbit is worthless and I will probably look into a different brand altogether. So disappointing!

The update description usually says improvements and bug fixes, which really means, may or may not work. Tell us what "you" think the improvements are, what bugs "you" think you have fixed. Maybe you would get some feedback you could use. Better yet, publish the API so your "improvements" don't make the device useless. I'm not sure it is worth 1 star, but it seems I have to give it at least 1 to be allowed to even post :(

I'm not sure what is going on, but most of the time my Fitbit does not sync up with the app, and I usually have to turn my Bluetooth off and on again to get it to sync, but sometimes that doesn't even work. I love the app aside from that really annoying new development. I have seen many other reviews saying this is an issue, and people following suggested steps and restarting their phones, as I have done, but to no avail. I have tried all of this with no results. This needs fixing!!

Keeping me invested in my fitness goals!! Well, it the app will not sync with my Charge 2 for nothin'! I have uninstalled and reinstalled the app, cut the phone off and on, and if I knew how I'd cut off the fitbit itself and cut it back on. It is disappointing because it was motivating to see and track your progress. Please fix this bug.

Having the same problem as many others...won't sync. I have to constantly restart my phone and try to resync. Because of this I don't get any of my notifications. At this point it's just a very expensive watch/pedometer. Really liked my Versa until about a month ago. 11/22/2019 Still very disappointed in the performance of my Versa. I have to reset my Versa and restart my phone at least once a day to be able to sync them. I very rarely get any notifications of emails or phone calls.

Well, it wasn't perfect in 31 October, but like a dummy I updated today to the most recent version released on 1 November 2019. Now the app keeps crashing in the background and notifying me while I'm doing other things. I sure hope this isn't Google screwing things up with the acquisition to push me to a new Google wear product. Seriously, do you guys even test the updates before you push them out? If it isn't bricking hardware, it's sync problems in the app. I'll change my rating when fixed.

I am new to fitbit. I am not getting any notifications on the watch. It says re-start the phone. Even after several times of re-start i face the same issue. App never sync to the watch and we have to do it manually. Even after the auto sync is on. It's been a month and watch is good but the essentials for the watch is not great. Battery is just 50% in watch. But the app shows battery full. The whole fitbit app has lots of bugs. Never expected this from a premium product.

Over the past 6 months Fitbit stopped displaying text messages, calendar events, and phone calls. I did not wear it for 2 weeks and the battery completely drained. After charging, the Fitbit started to display the messages again. That lasted all of two days. Messages not being displayed again. This most certainly will be the beginning to the of my 'relationship' with Fitbit products.

Even with the recent update, my blaze isnt syncing. During intense workouts, shows my heart rate is 45. Really. Still extremely disappointed and phone calls and emails to fitbit do not help. Wish is could replace this with something that works. Even when they respond and tell you to do this or that, it still doesn't work. There is a fitness watch on Amazon for $25.00 says it does everything my Blaze isn't doing. May have to seriously look into that.

Can't do anything anymore in the app without internet connection. This is unacceptable and one more reason I'll not be getting another Fitbit as soon as this one dies. Update after Fitbit reply: I understand the need for internet access. What I don't like is the fact that I need to have it enabled even to view current statistics such as current step count; not something that needs to be fetched from a server. Plus, keeping a small history on the device is very simple to do. This is all just to make sure we are constantly connected to the Fitbit servers, nothing more.

Horrible!!! I always have trouble connecting my Fitbit versa to the app! So annoying! I log out, restart my versa, shut it off and restart it and most of the time it works but it's supper annoying to have to do it every time so it can connect to the app because for some reason it won't do it automatically. The past 2 weeks straight it won't connect AT ALL! I keep trying the same steps and I doesn't work so I basically have an electronic watch on my arm that does nothing but that. Cool.

Works beautifully, easily, and quickly. Except for syncing... don't get me wrong, real time syncing works great, it's the first time sync, or a sync after the FitBit battery dies, that's slower than molasses. I timed it this last time, and it took over 5 minutes to sync after turning the FitBit back on after the battery died the night before. Idk if that's normal, but has had me leave it behind a few times on my way out the door in the morning.

Half the time it wont bluetooth with my fitbit. Very frustrating. Thinking of going 🍏 In response to Fitbit Reply. I have done everything you have suggested numerous times. Occasionally it will start working , but do you expect me to got through the process of installing/uninstalling aps, and restarting everything, and then getting it going on a different device, in the hope it will start working, twice a day? Im wasting so much time continually trying to get it syncing. When I see how many other people have the same issue there is obviously a problem from your end. Only good thing, is that I don't need to worry about Google getting my information!

I have not enjoyed using the app since the layout and design was changed. I liked the little tips once I went into the sleep or exercise log, but now it takes up half the screen once I open the app and distracts from everything else. AND after spending $150+ on the product, there are now premium features. This is not Spotify, I have purchased your product and now you want me to pay extra for more features? No thanks.

Lots of problems. Doesn't sync well. I had phone lock, then when trying to reset pin, it can't connect with phone. Updates change my settings and causes problems. I'm really unhappy with Fitbit. I have had several. I don't know why I keep buying them. I always have trouble, but I am tech savvy. I'll probably try Samsung active next time.

With the Charge 3, you have time to watch an entire episode of Breaking Bad before the damn thing syncs. The app is sluggish as hell and it's been this way for me, and thousands of others, for a while now. My 7 year relationship with Fitbit may be ending. Hearing that Garmin is a lot more reliable. *Update: The canned Fitbit corporate response is not helpful. THOUSANDS of people are complaining all over the net. Fix it or quit putting out a second rate product.

I'm very frustrated with my app. I got a new Fitbit. Connected to the app just fine. Been using it for the last 3 months. Now the app won't update my progress. Just keeps saying no device found. I have reloaded the app and that didn't help. Took the charge 3 off and put it back on 3 times now. It won't stay connected. I didn't spend this much money on my Fitbit to not be able to use my app and keep my progress. I use it for my Drs and nutritionists. What's up??!?!?!??!

A big waste of money! Every update has made functions worse instead of better, and now after the latest, I have been trying for a week to get it to sink! I give up! I'm never buying a Fitbit again! I've done everything I am supposed to do to get it to sync - uninstall, restart phone and watch, you name it I've done it! And don't EVEN try to tell me it's my phone not on the approved list! It worked fine at first, and after ever update, it just gets worse and worse! Should be a recall on Ionic!

Great when it works, but since the most recent update notifications won't work at all. Even a phone reset does nothing. The only thing that works is reinstalling the app and that only helps for about a day before it's not working again. Thankfully I didn't buy a Fitbit for the notifications but since it's a feature they advertise it should work. (Edit) Notifications work for days at a time then will stop say I need to restart my phone. That never works and instead I need to reinstall the app.

Disappointed that the developer's remedy for reported issues is to recommend using a different device to update (meaning they're no longer supporting your phone's OS without exactly saying that). So eliminated backwards compatibility without warning. Too bad, I thought it was a 5-star app before. And when you get a new device, whoops, that's not a supported device! I don't have this problem with any other app.

Update: Fitbit advised me that they will be updating the app as there is an issue with Anroid 9 app version. I need to know when the fix will happen, as this is seriously affecting its use. For the past few weeks my Fitbit won't sync with the app, and I'm unable to set my alarms. I have tried uninstalling the app, switching off my phone, resetting my Fitbit, to no avail. This is really frustrating the heck out of me! Lots of people seem to be reporting the same problem, what's happening Fitbit?

I l really like the app, but it is consistently draining my battery, it looks like it is draining my battery by a factor of twenty times higher than the next highest for battery app usage. I have restarted my phone several times and checked for any updated version, but still the same. I also tried to force close the app and it will not close. Meh.

Useless. Can't get past set up at all. I stopped using for a while and then decided to start again. The Login part I tried getting through many times then gave up and tried to reset password went through process of verifying email. Then nothing, it would go no further And YES I am positive that it was the right info. I gave up on that and tried to set up a new account and no matter what email I typed in even a brand new one I just set up it says it's already in use. Worst "professional" app ever!

It takes bloody ages for it to sync it's really starting to annoy me now , I've only got it since late October and I could be trying to get it to sync for about twenty minutes which is a pure joke !! I update the app when it's needed, if this keeps up going to regret having this item , so annoying!! , Is there another app I can use that works better ?!

I loved this app before the update it was easy to use and understandable. I don't like that there is a perimium now that withholds information from you if you dont pay. I paid over 300 dollars for the watch. Paying for information just seems like a money grab. Which wouldn't be so bad if you could put the dash board back to the way it was before the update. Or include all the information for free. On the positive I like that on the watch face selection we have a free column. That's nice.

I love my fitbit! It was working great until the last update. I can't receive any of my notifications. I've followed all the information about resetting it and have reached out and nothing has worked. It's super frustrating and annoying. I almost feel like I need to get a different watch. I hope y'all figure it out soon because if not, y'all ruined a perfect watch!

No Device Found over and over again. I've tried bluetooth on and off several times, tried stopping the app, uninstalling and reinstalling countless times.. what's the problem Fitbit.? UPDATE: I figured out how to reset my Flex so it will sync but I have to do it constantly. This has become a real pain, what's the use in having it if you have to reset it every day..? At this point, I will not be purchasing another Fitbit product. Your app people need to get this fixed, you're losing customers.

I have had nothing but issues for the past year. Every time I talk to Customer Service, they make it sound like they're doing me a favor by sending a replacement. I don't need a replacement, I need a fix. Now I haven't been able to sync since Nov 18. I deleted the app and reinstalled, checked my bluetooth, I even deleted the device but now can't connect it back. I was getting my notifications (texts) but it was not syncing to any of the apps, Windows 10 or Android. Now looking for a new device.

Fitbit is a very good tool to use on a daily basis to help keep track of your fitness. The steps help to motivate you. The resting heart rate really helps to monitor how tired your body is, which is helpful to staying ahead of getting sick. I love the record you have if what you have done over the course of time, and the awards that you get showing you what you have done. Sometimes the sleep app isn't accurate if you don't sleep through the first 3 hours. Overall, I really have been pleased.

Annoyed with sync issues...shouldn't have to constantly jump through hoops to get Alta HR to sync. Whenever there's an update it seems to mess's almost like it's planned...they've come out with newer trackers and I'm being pushed into getting the newer one...nope...not going that route again. This is my third and last fitbit. When it works, I love it. Right now, won't sync with app, so kind of pointless. Ok...months later and STILL having issues. Today the app disappeared from my phone.

Apr 2019- I really like this app. It's great for tracking food, exercise, and weight progress. I'm just surprised that it does not give you a way to log notes after a workout. The Nike Run app does and that's extremely helpful to since I'm able to note how much weights I'm using while I lift, if I was sick that day, etc. I'd give Fitbit 5 stars if they did.

I really don't like the latest update. It has managed to turn what was a very clear dashboard view into a strange list that is very difficult to read at a glance. It feels clumsy and cluttered and there's no way to revert back to the original views. The sleep score is vague and unhelpful and it takes ages to load 1 year views of step or heart rate history. Not sure what user testing was conducted but I struggle to believe that most people would like this update.

very disappointed with upgrade. constantly getting stuck. Does not go to details but instead shows blank screen. Information small font. Since my review there has been another upgrade. This is even worse. Now my device can't be found so there are barely any syncs. So upset with Fitbit's lack of response to the hundreds of complaints. I upgraded to a Fitbit Inspire HR 2 weeks ago. Most days it won't sync with my phone so I have no idea what's going on. Please fix the bugs already!!

Used to work great. Now I can't get my charge 3 to sync or now get on my bluetooth. I'm not sure what's going on but fix it! Edit... talked with fitbit and they said that my phone is no longer compatible with my fitbit!! This is ridiculous since they are both brand new! Really??? Fix this issue please!! I worked just fine until a month ago!! is finally working correctly again. Thank you fitbit for fixing the issue.

It was able to sync for maybe one month, and then out of nowhere I couldn't get it to sync with my versa. I'm so annoyed, that I'm about to trash the fitbit and go to a Galaxy watch instead. I've done everything fitbits website says to do; I've turned blue tooth on and off again, I've uninstalled and reinstalled the app, I've restarted my fitbit, I've even exited out of the app and restarted my whole phone. Nothing works. My last sync was months ago. The update did nothing to fix this issue.

First, it was the lack of syncing that was bothersome, but I held out hope. Then it was the layout change that made things much more complicated for me to find, but (still) I held out hope. Now, it is the fact that when you want to see how your sleep log is broken down, by hour, it's white text (black boarder) on a white background. NOW, this is a one-star review. I'm about to leave fitbit because they keep changing things to be less visible, less user friendly. Love my charge 3, hate the app.

Dear Fitbit, What are you doing to fix the issues with Bluetooth syncing?! Please stop expecting people to troubleshoot every single day to achieve a properly functioning watch. We don't need your links on how to fix this. That isn't the problem. YOU need to fix this! If I have to factory reset this watch one more time (because that's been the only solution) I'm returning my Versa 2 and going with another brand.

I was able to sync my phone to my watch with no issues and now out of nowhere it stopped syncing. The last day was a month ago. I have done what they suggested uninstall, reinstall, reboot, restart the watch, restart my phone. I've contacted Fitbit and all they said was to have patience. I just bought the versa a few months ago and my phone is a new note 10 +. Fitbit tried suggesting that the app might not be compatible with my phone. Um.. It was a little over a month ago. I am do annoyed.

So annoying. My Alta HR (which I've had for a couple of years working just fine) has refused to sync since Friday 11 Nov 2019. In an attempt to resolve the issue I have tried unpairing and uninstalling and reinstalling the app. However I have tried everything over the course of a number of hours and I am unable to re-pair my device as I am unable to accept the Privacy Policy. Am awaiting a fix in the next app update.

I have had my fitbit for 3 + years with no issues until this week. It wont sync to phone, I have lost all my activities like steps, sleep and heart monitor, all that is accessible is calories, and no I cant even pair to phone. I have contacted support more than several times to no avail. I keep getting the same generic text to turn off phone and bluetooth and turn on. This is getting beyond a joke now, this is not a user error. Fitbit, listen to your customers and sort it out.

Like quite a few of the reviews that I have read here, I too am having trouble syncing since the latest update. In fact it appears that my phone cannot find my watch even when it's lying on top of it. What's even more amazing, is the response by Fitbit, themselves. It appears that all of us users have all of a sudden become idiots in regards to the watch and its connection to our phone. It may be time to start looking for a new companion for my wrist.

I often travel to areas that have poor or no internet service. The app doesn't allow syncing without a connection. That is absolutely asinine. Fix this issue and I will raise my rating of the app. It is stupid to require an internet connection to get the full utility from a device that I purchased. Essentially electronically strong arming information from customers that would rather not share it anyway is very annoying. To your response: I already understand that the app requires internet.

I hate that I can't delete old messages. This has been an issue with fitbit for over 5 years and they still haven't fixed it. They say on the community boards that after 30 days they automatically delete well that's a lie. After 30 days your notifications will delete. I know this because I called customer service and waited for over 30 minutes to get an answer. How in the world do you have an app, website, and product but cant do simple functions such as delete. Now google will stalk us since sold

Yes. The sync doesn't work any more. Very frustrating. It was good for last 2 to 3 years. Now I uninstall app and install. Restart by mobile phone. The sync and update software do not work at all. Like other users. It seems to update the number of step for one day and next day, it disappear. Can I find help anywhere?

I have had a fitbit from day one. But yet again I'm being let down as I have an older fitbit (charge 2). Ever since the last couple of updates my fitbit rarely syncs. My fitbit is working fine and does everything I need. Why is it not being supported properly anymore? Are you like apple and don't support older devices? If so let us know. If I need to upgrade then tell me.

Worked great untill the update. Since then notifications dont work. Contacted customer support and they keep sending the same links to resolve this issue. They dont seem to know how to fix so keep asking to try the same thing over and over. I have tried everything and still wont work. My Fitbit is less than a year old. Untill they figure out a new update to resolve this ongoing issue I would avoid. Sorry for bad review but I'm getting seriously annoyed.

I have had this app for nearly a year and as much as the fitbit itself is great, the lack of sync ability drives me round the bend. It takes forever to go into clock faces - a simple part of the app I would imagine. It doesn't sync with my fitbit, even if I press Sync Now, it still shows it was last updated, say 30 minutes ago?! And won't update the fitbit screen. I had stopped using the fitbit for a while, for the sync reason. I have recently tried again and still I am having trouble.

This app is horrible since the update! I can not connect with my tracker most of the time, it doesn't sync, my notification don't work, if tracker didn't cost so much I would throw it away and gone to another brand. I installed the app and reinstalled it and the problems went away for almost 12 hours before it stopped again woohoo!.. keep getting messages to restart phone to enable notifications but that's does nothing. Based on what I've read they have known about this problem for months.

Won't sync or capture info. Since the 15th of November, the Fitbit app has not been able to sync with my Fitbit. Also the app has stopped collecting information on my steps, calories... everything! Everything was working correctly up until that point. I'm not sure if maybe an app bug fix or something else has created this issue, but it needs to be resolved ASAP.

I have had a Fitbit tracker for 5 years. I have never had problems like I have had in the past week. I have tried ALL of your sync problem fixes and nothing. It cannot find my device. Please back out the update that screwed up the good thing that I had! I guess I'm going to be asking Santa for a different brand of tracker for Christmas this year.

I was excited to start using Fitbit, the watches are really good, I like them, but the app is buggy. I and a friend of mine started using it less than a week ago. And we constantly have bugs with sleeping rate. First night showed correct, next nights rate didn't show up, although nothing was different. My friend from the launch can't see it. The only advice I found was to reinstall, will try later, but what quality is that??????????? Considered giving as Chr.present, now rethink. Disappointed

I have been having the same issues as everyone else here. I have installed and reinstalled the app many times. I have restarted my phone. I have called the support team and done what they suggest and nothing. My clock is 6 minutes slow and all of my data is gone. This currrect watch is a replacement sent to me by fitbit because my first one completely died. It appears that this replacement is not a good one. The time on the watch cannot be fixed bc the it does not sync.

Overall it works well. An update gave me some issues with activities, but tech support was able to point me in the right direction to fix it. I do have some sync issues, but I have a new pixel 4xl and they are saying it is too new to be fully tested. Though sync issues seem to be something other phones are having as well. I do not have any issues with other Bluetooth devices and it is a standard that has had many years to mature, but I will give them the benefit of the doubt here.

The hardware is let down by this app. It's complicated to use, settings are haed to find, slow to update from the device., The sleep tracking chart rotates with screen orientation but the heartrate chart doesn't. The charts don't zoom so if you want to see the data at a particular point, it's hit and miss. Finally, although you can change the device clockface from the app, you can't change from 12 to 24 hour mode. You can only do this from the website - but you then have to sync from the app!

Frustrating! It worked well for a month, but then logged me off and won't allow me to log back on. I get errors when trying to log in and an error stating that fitbit is unavailable when trying to reset my password. I have cleared my cache, uninstalled/reinstalled, and reset numerous times. My watch is basically unusable except to track steps and tell time. Waste of money unless it will start working properly.

Complete garbage. Won't let me sync. Watch ended up getting about 8 minutes slow. So I tried reinstalling and doing a factory reset, and now it won't even set up the Fitbit. Don't even try doing the help chat, because the servers always seem to be down. Edit: even after the update, my device still won't set up. Allows me to type in the four numbers then never gets any further. Then I try selecting the contact customer support and the link doesn't work. Good job 👍

Update Syncing is now less predictable than ever. Have no idea what my stats are it is not even worth having this device... 1. Syncing is slow and unpredictable, sometimes not working. 2. Can't edit workouts. On iPhone I could edit start and end times easily which helps if you forget to stop your watch like me . 3. Female health has a bug. I literally have entered my info countless times but it is still not working.

Constant connection issues when trying to sync with my phone. Received a notice of a firmware update several months ago, wont ever update my device. I have restarted my phone, bluetooth, Fitbit, uninstalled and restarted the app. Now three days after owning my device for a year it will no longer sync at all. I have tried all the trouble shooting directions on the website to no avail, and customer service said they could do nothing for me.

Terrible, the app had gotten worse over time and now half the time it barely syncs up to my device anymore! Don't give me the reinstall your device line cause that dosen't fix the problem as I've already tried that and it's still not working properly. I guess it's time to reevaluate what new device I spend my money on this time and I don't think it'll be a Fitbit

Before the update, my phone did not have any trouble finding my fitbit... now I'm having to re-sync every time I pick my phone up.... please undo what you did. It was great before this update which gives it 3 stars. Update.... I can't contact you unless I have a twitter account? What nonsense is that? Why do you not have an email address to contact?

If I'm rating the Fitbit alone, I love it. Now if I'm rating the app, it's horrible! I've had these for years and already on my 4th Fitbit and I never had any issues with the app until about a few months ago. I've had a hard time syncing and it's so frustrating. I restart about 5 times a day, I've deleted and added the app back on, I've disconnected/reconnected my Bluetooth, you name it and I've done it. I just got the versa 2 and was so excited but this app is not making it enjoyable at all.

I have had this tracker for less than a year. I have had to reset sync so many times!! Nothing but problems. Uninstall the app. I have hard reset twice, Now since the lastest firmware update it wont sync. Won't pair. Its basically just a $250.00 watch. I bought a fitbit for the text, call notifation feature. I'm so disappointed with this tracker. And from reading thru all the reviews I'm not the only one having a problem since the last uodate.

My partner and I purchased 2 charge 3 devices in January. For several months they worked fine. Integrated with app great. I was able to see live telemetry at gym. The one thing that stinks is that you cannot set the display to remain a result, I would utilize the app on my phone to see hr etc. During workouts. Fast forward to the last cpl of updates..synching errors, no sleep data... no way will I purchase premium!!! Make this work again. Too buggy to rely on. Not pleased!

It's a great little tracker. It's like my fitness pal and a pedometer had a baby. The heart rate has become less accurate since the upgrade because you have to pay to have your heart rate tracked while you sleep which is disappointing other than that I highly recommend. As the developer responded I never said that it doesn't track my sleep. Now you have to pay to have your heart rate tracked during sleep this lowers your vo2 max score if you chose not to pay. Its disappointing to say the least.

Your app developers should be embarrassed by their latest update! My 2 week old Versa Lite was working just fine until it updated, apparently 5 hours ago. Now the app keeps crashing! WTH, Fitbit?! Don't tell me to troubleshoot....this is happening to more than just me, so it's an app issue, not user. In the past 24 hours, I've only been able to sync ONCE. This is ridiculous. Not to mention it's annoying as hell having the pop-up about the app crashing in the background every 30 seconds to 3 min.

I have had a great experience until the latest update on 11/2 19. Now mine wont sync give text messages or alerts and give me my sleep or other things that I have been using for almost 2 1/2 years. Have tried deleting the app, reinstalling it, turning of bluetooth and back on like it said ,still says can't locate my Fitbit, try to add a different charge 2 , no luck . Want it back the way it was before the last Bug fix, or what ever happened. Any suggestions on how to make it work again??????????

The App has turned into garbage. Doesn't synce, I don't get notifications, and it's a repeating issue! And please, Fitbit don't respond with what I am doing wrong or with the comment of "contact us for more help"-done it all! I have been on messenger with Fitbit for over 45mins before and finally got it to work yet it only worked until the next update. You want your customers to go through that every time???? And reading other people's reviews it sounds like you have some fixing to do!

Almost ready to switch back to my Neo. Did the update and not what was already a syncing problem it has gotten worse. Even after rebooting everything so many times it still will not sync. Why bother! I like the watch but it does less than half of what I need it to do because it doesn't sync. Maybe it is time to try something new till you can figure it out.

Stay away. The app doesn't always work. Whenever there is an update you can be sure that the sync with the phone rarely works. Sometimes it doesn't work for a couple of months and then it works again for some weeks and then it doesn't. I really regret that I bought this fairly expensive Fitbit. I didn't write this review lightly but I have been trying for 2 years now. ***** What a stupid response below. I have tried everything. But of course, it's the users fault. As I said above: Stay away.

What a major dissapointment!! App is useless. Has not synced in over 36 hours regardless of trying to sync manually many many times, uninstalling and reinstalling the app. And yes, I've followed all your useless troubleshooting guides, and checked and double checked the proper permissions are on. I have had this watch for a couple of weeks and has been nothing but endless frustration and disappointment. I should have stuck with Garmin! I'll be contacting Amazon to return, and upgrade to Garmin

Just got a new watch, updated it and it still can not connect. Very disappointed and am thinking of other options after many years of using Fitbit. Received the new watch and the band had fallen off in the first week! Still having problems connecting to my phone. Forcing the sync frequently! Because the watch was not bought through Fitbit directly, I get no help with my watch. I have to contact the dealer that it was bought from.

I love my fitbit. Have used them for years. Recently I thought it was my older fitbit that was having connectivity issues, so I took advantage of this to get myself the newer Versa 2. Still same issues. I realize now it's the app. Frustrating beyond belief to not be able to sync, to have to restart my phone and jump through hurdles to get it to import stats. I even pay for the sleep monitoring. That being said I'm canceling that until this is fixed. Fix the app! Bs for how $$$ fitbit are!

From last 15 days continuosly I am trying for updating of my fitbit watch. I don't know this is problem of watch or app but i am unable to upadte and start my watch. This very disappointed me. I have seen many person having the same problem still you are not finding the proper solution for this. If you will not solve the problem then you will not be able to stay in the market soon.

Annoying that I have to clear the cache everytime before the app will open. Otherwise I get a screen with the fitbit logo. Ever since the new update, I have to re link my device to the app or the time on my watch changes and is not synced to the actual time. Sure glad I paid all the money for a watch to have the supporting app be garbage. This is my second watch, the problems with this app have progressively gotten worse. If you're going to update with "bug fixes" then actually fix the bugs.

I never had an issue until I bought the versa. It won't auto sync and most of the time it don't see it. It's not my phone because it has happened to my other phones as well. The app will tell me atleast 4 times a day it has stopped. There is a new update but my versa won't connect to get it so who knows maybe I'll be heading backwards to my fb charge or another tracker.

Since last upgrade, constantly connected to GPS and draining battery (more than the screen). My charge 3 takes ages to connect to the phone when starting an exercise where it took only a couple of seconds. Exercises stop recording after a couple of minutes. And my position is not recorded anymore (despite the GPS notification). Pretty expensive useless device.

I don't know why the fitbit team can't fix the one main issue over its many releases. No matter what I have done including removing the battery optimization, Fitbit stops getting any notifications from phone after 2 or 3 hours. The app shows message "The Notification service is not running. Restart the phone". I have done that repeatedly, as well as force stopping the app, and all of that has been useless. Every day after a while the app will throw the same error despite updates. Horrible!

They got rid of some features through the app update and now wants you to buy premium. I haven't been using my fitbit, it was never accurate to begin with. The mileage was always wrong, (even with GPS on) calories was always over my actual consumption and heart rate wasn't accurate either. Can't use this app without wearing the device unless you walk with GPS on, but then it won't calculate calories correctly. Not worth it anymore in my opinion. Probably installing.

Sync does not work since last update and I'm extremely disappointed. It worked flawless up until then. I've done every possible reset and reached out to find out it's the app that has glitched. Now my Fitbit Charge HR 3 that isn't even a year old is nothing more than a paper weight. Will this be fixed? Otherwise how can I get a refund?

I like the app but every week or so the app wont sync to my watch. And something to work on is that when you ride the bike figuring out a way to track the miles with your miles you walk, not having to enter it manually and not actually show them untul afyer your work out.. I do 10 miles a day on the bike so it would make a huge difference to me and others I have talked to.

I am having trouble with syncing my watch to my phone and I have read on the Fitbit site to see what I can do to fixed it and still not working. I have tried all advice they gave me and the only time it wants to connect is when setting up but it disconnect by it self and won't connect back. This is stressing me out and I don't know what to do as this feels like £200 down the drain.
