What an Awful Application. This app cuts off to soon when your talking for One and Two it CAN'T even TYPE What You're "SAYING Correctly." Google stinks at making a decent Speech Application. I swear the dictation gets worse every time I use it. If there's any sort of background noise it will mess up horribly, and it inserts words that don't make sense. Every time I say comma it inserts "oh," even though there's no reason for it, it capitalizes random words, and if it's a multi sylable word I might as well type it because it'll give me gibberish garbage instead. It used to be better, now it's more frustrating than typing and walking.

Too fast for an adult over 25. There is a slider for speech creation speed, why not for speech control. Seems like a no brainer. Maybe I will be able to pause for a second mid sentance whwn searching something more complicated than 3 words. Especially in tech help, long phrases sometimes are composed as spoken.

Google recently changed the name of this app from text to speech to speech services! But either way, it's useless! It doesntunderstanding what you're saying half the time, not even coming close to typing out what you said! I also recently discovered that the latest version had put a virus in my phone! Thanks a lot Google! Since uninstalling your app, my device has never run smoother, the texting much better! Your App is useless & needless!

I used to enjoy using this user friendly app but they messed it up beyond useable, now it's only frustrating to try to use! No more word suggestions and you have to click back, wth google!? *Update* All my Google Voice features are acting weird! Please, when are you going to fix this horribly frustrating update?

New update clears all the words in the text box when I cancel the voice to text. It was more useful when you were able to click speech to text and add a word on to the existing text in the box. It was much better when it an option that you could pick if words in a sentence are similar. Now I have to delete whole sentence to then say it again (could just cancel it before, when the sentence was not right).

This app is a total waste of time it takes 2 to 3 times longer to use it than to just type it in. It is constantly putting different words than I even spoke. I have to continuously edit my message removing sentences I didn't speak in addition to that. I always end up frustrated I expect things to work. How it comes up with the phrases, the sentences it comes up with I will never know. Put something totally different.

I have no complaints about this app. I'm not sure what it does, but if this is the app inorder to speak w google when I say "hey google" and "google maps" google navigation ect. Then it works fine

Google TTS has always worked great. When something is working good, why change it? The update in June was absolutely horrible and it changed everything about the TTS. It did not pick up words well and there was no option to change the word by the drop-down. No more drop-down to have a choice of different words! I just updated again today hoping that there would be a change to what it used to be. No change at all and it's still the same as it was from the June update. Please put it back.

For the most part it is pretty good, with some exceptions. This is America, so why would we ever pronounce the word "sake" as sake' like the Japanese rice wine? It's extremely annoying! Then everytime the word "sat" comes up it is pronounced "Saturday"! Again, very annoying! If you would correct these issues I will change it to 5 stars.
