The whole game codebase was redone (twice) and the new version now is the only one available. This lead to choices that were either "old version is lost forever" or "new version replaces it" and the "new version replaces" was the choice. Some of the classic features have been fixed in update 680 and please do keep giving feedback. There's been requests for a "classic" version within Survive so emailing [email protected] with subject line "CLASSIC" can impact development plans. -- IOS version development starts after Grizzly Mountains Android version has been released. -- This is an EARLY ACCESS UPDATE so please notice contents of this release are not finalized. A new update is already being developed. All your progress from "earlier than version 500" is lost. Until next update, Juuso --- PRIVACY --- Game can be played OFFLINE. If you have internet connection, then game will try send anonymized data about gameplay (things like "X number of people play game"). Please check out "for humans" privacy policy at thesurvivegame.com - Game never requires creating email account or giving your name or other information. --- PERMISSIONS EXPLAINED --- * IN-APP PURCHASES (IAP): You can buy full version, style pack and such. There are no "gems" or "ads" type of stuff. * FULL NETWORK ACCESS: you can play offline, but if you play online game sends error/exception information about crashes. This helps fixing problems. * VIEW NETWORK CONNECTIONS: To best of my understanding this checks if your device is online or offline. * CONTROL VIBRATION: this can be toggled off in the settings. Interesting game, but deeply flawed. Would be vastly improved by the following: 1) alerts before fire goes out, 2) more crafting items, 3) longer period before resource depletion (fish, exploration items), 4) reasonable success odds when hunting. As it is, a player spends about 90% of his time cutting wood and boiling water which gets very boring very fast.

One of the best free mobile games on the play store. It is amazing. Balanced & fun mechanics, lots of things to do, and challenging~but not too challenging gameplay. It has no artificial timers, energy systems, ads, and the only paid thing in the whole game is to buy the full version. Even then you can access 99% of the game without it, it only adds about 3-4 new items. I highly recommend this, it's a good game. If you can, buy the paid version to support the developers too, they deserve it.

I love this game, only been playing for a little I would love to see some more areas to try to survive in, along with the ability to find areas like the hunting towers or similar areas which are in the game but I'd like to see it as an actual shelter you stumble across. That's really all I think that would benefit players is the areas like crashed planes and hunting towers being an actual shelter to give players a break from building for a night.

Great game! Definitely needs more scenarios... theres a lake, mountain, river and swamp... Forest and desert would be great additions... or the occassional random event, like a bear with a chance of scaring it off or taking it down or hailstorm...

I really looove this game at the moment, however, my only complaint is that even in the easiest mode, hunting and fishing are very hard to accomplish, and when you do get a chance to come across some animal tracks, it's not clear what's the right way to come closer to it, and they always escape. I find this game very much fun, but constantly dying from not finding food, plus the inability to hunt, is a big turn-off for me, and surely will affect my future interest in the game.

Simple and amazing! I'm almost 100% positive I've had this game since it came out across multiple phones. It's one of the games I always find myself coming back to play. While it isn't a 100% realistic it does simulate survival in a lot of different ways. While difficulty can be changed it doesn't let you change if you are an experienced outdoorsman or just your average "Hey that sounds fun!" Person with little to no out in the wilderness experience. All in all this is a GREAT GAME!

4 years since an update. The swamp level still has a glitch that makes it impossible to beat, since you die regardless of having full health. I love this game and bought the full version to support them. Kinda feels like they just took people's money, put it some other app and forgot about this one.

Played for a few years now, I really enjoy this game because it is of the few that doesn't rely off of good graphics and has unique survival scenarios. The achievements in this game are what makes me come back often. Even though there hasn't been an update in many years, there is one coming very soon. Those who haven't tried playing this game should try atleast once!

A great game and fun too. Once you get the hang of it, it can be really fun once you learn the mechanics. I wish there where more objects to make and more items to find to craft with including more uses for already available items. Sometimes the animals are also extremely hard to hunt. Other than that I think it's a great app and I haven't thought of deleting it even after a few years. Can't wait for the new update coming soon.
