Stemoscope is a smart listening device that lets you hear the sound of life, such as heartbeat and breath sound of human body or your pets for recreations. Stethoscope is evolving. Many doctors use traditional stethoscopes. Some are trying digital stethoscope, evolved but still hung over the neck. Stemoscope is very different. It is designed for everyone to listen to the heartbeat, breath sounds, or many other sounds of life, for STEM education, recreations and many other purposes. Tubeless, wireless, Bluetooth, digital, mobile and wearable. Stemoscope is a smartphone stethoscope. It is likely the smallest stethoscope in the world. Sounds tell stories of life. They come from inside of a person, your pet or a plant and emanate outwards for us to discover and to appreciate. Stemoscope detects sounds and transmits them wirelessly to your smart devices, phones or tablets, eliminating the cumbersome tube of the traditional stethoscope. A user can choose either a wired or wireless earphone to listen to these engaging sounds. Stemoscope is a wearable stethoscope. With the specially designed strap (might need to be ordered separately), you can easily wear it or carry it easily with you. It is so small that you can store it with your earphone in the same bag. The stemoscope comes with an engaging App with many rich and useful features that are easy to use by anyone. You can save the sounds and the locations where the sound comes from. You can share the recorded sounds with others through emails. The App supports playback at half the normal speed so that it is easier for anyone to recognize the detailed sound characteristics. In the STEM mode, the Stemoscope can even detect infrasounds that can‘t be heard by our bare ears. You can design your own sound filter or shift the sound pitch to hear sounds in a different and sometimes more insightful manner.

Pretty limited as to what you can do. Always "locks-up" before I can save recordings (especially longer ones). App quickly stores a massive amount of unwanted data that I have to remove manually. Wish I could access the microphone without it. Looking for alternative software to allow use with other devices/OSs... The hardware itself is fine, just needs a better, more useful app...

Good app but unusable on Android 12 currently.

App constantly crashes , if u check 10 patients only in one patient you are bit confident in all others it crashes and it's kind of embarrassment and then anger on this device. I will not recommend any of my doctor friends to buy it.

I had issues with scanning my device, but once it's scanned, it works great. You really should put an option to just type in the code. Also, under the customized sound tab, you really should have a reset button to put all the settings back to where it was before. Every other stethoscope app has that for a reason. Other than that, the app is great.

Honesty a $20 Bluetooth device shouldn't be secured like it is a national treasure. Do I have the app? Yes. Can I connect to the Bluetooth device? Yes. Doesnt work though because I don't have an account linked to a 2d barcode printed on an impossible to scan translucent surface over a mirrored disk. Once you finish proving devotion and are willing to give away all your personal information and completely allow access to your phone, you find out that your phones mic is better than this thing...

I was very happy with my Stemoscope up until this last update. I am also now having the same volume issues that others have mentioned. I am using mine with a Samsung Galaxy S8 and wired headphones. I never had to turn the volume on my phone past half way or use the digital amplifier. Now I have to have my volume on high and use the amplifier to get weak results. Really hoping they can correct whatever changed with this last update.

Was able to connect this to my OP6 easily enough though the QR was difficult to scan. (I found it worked best in residual light rather than a source pointed directly at it.) Had fun with listening to all the different things and places I could stick it on though. I used a pair of JVC Marshmallow earphones to listen to the audio and they worked well enough. The app could use some improvement with regards to accuracy of the sliders in the STEM section though. Overall, pleased with it.

EDIT: Jan. 17, 2021 The app still occasionally crashes, but now I can use it again for auscultation. The app used to work fine. But since the latest update (livestreaming update), the app keeps crashing. Please fix this, as I'm using it to assess my patients. I've been forced to install a previous version of the app to keep using my stemoscope. On Android 10

App was pretty good until the last update. Now I am having volume problems like everyone else. Before 8/16 I had a really good experience with my Samsung S9 and wired headphones. Too bad. I wish they'd roll back whatever change they made.

This app wasn't designed very well. It certainly isn't intuitive to use. It needs labels on almost all areas so the user can figure out how to use it. It also needs information on what each setting does when you hover over the switches.
