Everything worked beautifully through June 22, 2021. But on June 25th, the app stopped showing my walking map, heartbeat analysis, and some workout details... all of which are very important features for me! I have researched it on my own and I talked to one of your support staff, but have been unable to resolve the problem. I LOVED this app and would have given it 5 stars three months ago. I'm hoping there is an easy fix, but I MUST have the map and heartrate data! (I wear the Galaxy Smart Watch 2 while I'm walking, which I also love, and they are paired.)

I loved this app. The amount of permissions it requires in this new update is unacceptable. edit after receiving Samsung answer: Your automated answer doesn't impress me in the slightest. Your new Together feature isn't working as it should if people are complaining. Reflect on what are you actually bringing to the customers and what are you demanding from them. it's clearly a negative return for the Customers. There's no point in answering with : "Trust us, we won't harm you" - it's ridiculous even.

The new update requiring permissions to make and manage phone calls is a solid no for me. Uninstalling. (Samsung - this does not make a better service experience.) Update to Samsung's response: Then why not make it optional? Many people do not want to give Samsung access to make and manage phone calls. Allow people to opt out (and thus opt out of the 'Together' feature). Instead you've made the entire app unusable since it won't open unless these permissions are granted. So no, I won't use it.

The update ruined everything. The old version was very useful and essy to use. But after the update, I was not able to use the app anymore. First, you have to register your email and mobile number. But the verification process took forever and so you have to start all over again. Eventually, I gave up and disabled the app since I can't uninstall it.

I loved this app until the latest update that asks for more permissions. This app does not need access to my phone, or anything else. I don't want your "better overall experience". I want the same experience that I've had for the last few years. At least give us the option to opt out of your new features. I will now uninstall, and look for a less intrusive app. Update to Samsung's response: I do not require your app. If you want me to use it, let me opt out of the permissions.

I tried this app this morning after not using it for a while, and it required me to share my contacts to use most of the features (I declined). I noticed there was an update and now I can't even login without giving them my phone number. If they need 2FA, there is no reason they can't use email. Uninstalling this app. An "optimal experience" does not include forcing access to contacts in order to join a challenge.

I've been using it for years and loved it for tracking my activities. Unfortunately I can't access my history after the latest updates, I can't even open the app unless I give access to contacts and phone. That makes absolutely no sense and the bull that the app needs that to make a better experience doesn't fly with me. I will uninstall and use something that doesn't have such ridiculous requirements.

  8. Faith Cockrell-avatar

The app gets worse with every update. It doesn't sync using Bluetooth anymore. Now it says sync with WiFi only, which makes no sense when I'm not always around WiFi. Plus, there are wayyyy to may apps to manage a watch. I'm going to have to switch to Apple because at this point it's obvious they want to collect and sell as much of your information as possible under the disguise of being for "improving app performance and experience."

    fida yazam

The new version FORCES me to grant the app permission to access my calls and phone book. I do not need the additional feature of 'friend's challenge' or 'together' but am not given the option to choose. This is intrusive and really bad customer experience for me as i own a samsung watch. Definitely won't make the same mistake. There's many more brands out there.

The app will not work if you don't allow it to make phone calls. It is another app that is becoming megalomaniacal. Like most people I simply use this app for it's health tracking features and will never use it for anything else. My next health tracker will not be a Samsung if things stay this way. Stop forcing requirements that most people don't want.
