Reviews From google play store

Nice place to keep some of your photos but sometimes interferes with your access to Google drive. This app takes control over your Android system and completely copies all your pictures and files. Then it replaces your whole operating system with Samsung everything.. Gallery, email, internet. Then also replaces your current system which mine was Google with Samsung. Then all my Google files and Gallery disappeared and they put them all on Samsung. Very disgusted.

With the old app I was able to create a master album on a subject and then drop other albums into it. Ex. ART as the master album with small albums such as Paintings, Medieval, Scupture etc. I can not find any way of doing this now. Terribly inconvenient! It also takes way too long (@30 seconds) for a downloaded photo to show up in the download album (no longer called "downloads" but "pictures"). UGH!

"I was moving pictures from one album to another when I touched something and my layout changed. Before it would display albums in a column on the left of the screen and the pictures in the album on the right, while still showing the other albums. Now, it shows all albums on the entire screen and when I select one, it fills the whole screen with photos from that album but doesn't display the other album options. Help!"-Can anyone tell me what is that "something"?

I don't know what happened with the last update, but everytime I try to upload from Gallery to Instagram and have to go through the editing stage, it changes my pictures saturation, hue, exposure, etc. I'm a photographer and I do a lot of editing and now that this app changes all my hard work (and makes the picture look worse) sucks! I might switch to an iPhone. It doesn't help when the pictures aren't that great from Android to Instagram.

After the newest Samsung update I've lost the ability to select within photos and put on to other photos . Basically the quality, editing tools are gone. I've searched for an answer but haven't found one that helps. Maybe I could give 5 stars if I can get it back. Was that so a company could sell their photo editing app?

I like it, it's just when I want to have a "story" for a section of photos that's based off a topic (ex. Pictures of a pet or a child or etc.) It puts all the different photos in different places which is hard to find then when you wanna find them. But I think over all very useful, you should get it if your second guessing it!

It's fairly decent at first, when you don't have many photos to organize. Soon you discover how limited its organization capabilities are; conflicts with Samsung Cloud, creating new folders for every app, not allowing some to be stored on the SD card, inconsistent saving locations, etc. In my case I need to organize all photos to five or six SD directories, but am not allowed to have fewer than two dozen more. It's enough to switch back to Apple. At least they respond to support questions.

The only weakness is when we try to access gallery from camera, it shows the whole pictures, it's not good because all pictures are united in one place and sorted by the time we get the picture, it's gonna much better if it only shows the pictures we've taken from camera, not the whole pictures. Thx

Edit: 4 months later and this is still happening! / Original Review from 04 08/19: I never had a problem with Samsung Gallery until my phone updated to Pie. Now when I take pictures with my phone, not all the shots make it over to the gallery. I'm not sure what's wrong, but they're simply disappearing! This is not acceptable!!

Now, you can'T go to a list of your photos if you call it from "camera". It is kind of "fix" to the problem "show everything". Whew, now it became usable. At least now I can install another app that won't show anything except DCIM. Guyz, in ancient time - it was a perfect app! It just showed your DCIM and that's it! No screenshots, no downloads, no covers, and media! Will be 5 stars when you'll trash again this "look everywhere, show everything" feature. Or at least add a mode "DCIM only".

I like all but the slow motion video trimming. You used to be able to trim the slo-mo videos super short but now it (the slo-mo part) has to take up around at least 1/8th of the video of slo-mo no matter the length so for example, if you have a 8min video and want to trim it to 20 seconds, you actually can't. Instead, it's at least 1min and almost all slo-mo so it turns into a 8 minute slo-mo video of barely anything going on because you cant change which parts are fast and what arent. 9/10 score

This app was amazing until recently. I was able to make several different folders for my pictures and I really liked that. However, for the past month or two, I have not been able to move or copy my photos to other folders. This is really frustrating to me. If there is an issue, my photos are not on my SD card and I do not want to lose my photos. Please fix this. Because of this issue, I am giving three stars (almost went lower).

I'm very displeased with the removal of some editing features, like adding images on top of others. It had fantastic synergy with the crop function, as you could easily mix and match images. It was akin to a mobile version of photoshop, and was quite helpful with making fun images and memes. Now that the function is gone, I enjoy my phone less. Please add it back in.

Well I have an updated version of Samsung Gallery on my phone with that "red flower" looking icon and Gosh after 1 week of using it, my gallery has been stopping and I cannot even select an image for my contact numbers. Whenever I choose; these words "unfortunately Gallery has stopped" kept on popping. How can I fix this issue? Now even my camera isnt working well. The live focus effect in my front camera isnt working at all. My phone is new. I only have this for just 4 months now. Help me please.

Since the last update, all the pictures' quality (Pinterest in particular) is very poor and even the editing doesn't help. You also removed the 'portrait' feature ,which wasn't great but necessary. In short, I don't see any improvement what so ever.. Very disappointed !

I thoroughly enjoy the process of editing my photos on here. It's so easy and fun! Excellent app!! I lost so many pictures from my gallery when my phone fell into a pool last summer. I wish I could some how get them back! The app was not to blame. I am a survivor of the wildfire in Paradise, CA. I lost everything! My entire town/community was wiped out. I'm displaced today along with 50,000 others. I bounce from couch to couch due to lack of housing. This app is a great distraction!

Recently upgraded my phone and becoming more familiar with the gallery app. Love that I can choose the picture for the folder and align it rather than just the last picture not aligned. Works well for my needs but noticed any new folders now go to the bottom rather than stay in alphabetical order, which is preferred. Still discovering what it can do, but pleased overall.

I used Samsung Gallery for several years, and it was flawless, then for a reason I don't remember I changed to another photo app. After transferring all of my pix to the new app I soon realized the huge mistake I had made, and how much I enjoyed my Samsung Gallery and how easy it is to use. A year later I'm still trying to transfer and organize my hundreds of pix into their prospective albums. Believe me I won't make that mistake again, I'm sticking with Samsung Gallery.

The entire software update is taking some getting used to. I'm still playing around with the gallery that I've had for 2 years now and I'm having to relearn the dang thing. I liked how easy the edits used to be. Now it's like everything is hidden except what I don't use.

I never had to so many pictures before thank you for making this app possible for me and if others out there want to install this app I tell you right now. That it can hold 1000 pictures and it can hold 500 screenshots. Our fathers out there want to know more the better install cuz it is awesome. Thank you guys so much.

After this update, your photos no longer leave the camera roll, when you add them to an album. So, if you take numerous photos on a trip and are trying to sort them into different albums, you can easily lose where you were, because the photos don't move when they are moved. Also, if you delete from camera roll, it now also deletes from the album it's in. There is no way to hide the photos, unless you also want them hidden from your albums.

overall pretty good gallery that can do almost everything I want. only issue is that you can't move a picture to another folder while looking at the picture. kind of annoying to have to back out, select the right picture, move it, then go back into the folder and keep scrolling. especially annoying when doing photo shoots that have a bunch of pictures that look very similar in the preview thumbnails. it would be so much more convenient to be able to choose and move them while actually looking.

I'm really impressed by how far the photo editing facilities have improved. There are still a few things I don't seem able to do: sharpen the image (one of the commonest edits after cropping?) and adding a description to the EXIF data of the photograph. In other ways, edit facilities are often more powerful, and easier to use than anything on my desktop PC. Search and sort facilities still leave a lot to be desired EG, no easy to search by date, even in the limited 'stories' view.

Taking pictures and video isn't an issue, it gives just enough features to edit pictures. My biggest issues is that I take a lot of videos and my only option for editing is trimming the video, if you're going to do an update video editing needs more features not being able to merge videos is a big downfall I shouldn't have to download an outside app when this app should already give me those options.

The calibration is messed up, when you open it at night it has an orange tint to it even if the blue light filter is off. Ridiculous, I've had enough of Samsung. I've been a Samsung user since the Note 2. Calibration when sending photos to my Canon Selphy printer is way off too.

If I could, I'd give -0 stars! The latest update really ruined this app (and many other features of my s8+) There's no way to organize all albums by name. No--some beginning with A are at the top and some at the bottom. No way to change this. Try finding a downloaded image. What a joke, it might be in the download file but you'll have search through all downloaded images in that file to find it. I'm just done with Samsung after this phone.

I use this app often to sort my pictures and crop. I figured out why I couldn't find any pictures that were downloaded through Google Images. The problem origionated from not having the storage turned on in the app permissions. Glad to finally find out that this problem's origin had nothing to do with the Samsung gallery app. I just wanted to leave this for anyone with the same problem.

The app is simple and does what it says on the tin. Unfortunately it seems to have lost its ability to sort albums correctly in the albums tab. All my albums were sorted alphabetically but for the past month or so any new albums are at the bottom of the list no matter what letter it begins with. This is frustrating when I have a large number of albums and all my new albums appear at the very bottom. There should be a sort option in the menu for this.

The Samsung gallery is probably the best choice when it comes to android gallery's. But recently has been frustrating to use, hence the one star rating. Having moved most of my images into my SD card I noticed some of my albums were missing. Check the SD card and they were there just not showing up in my gallery but they were there. Researched about it and nothing came up. Went into save mode and correct everything to have all my apps move and some even disappearing. Bumer. Just Google gallery.

Hate this app. Hate the way they take my pictures and clump them together with other pictures that THEY see fit without ever asking me what I think. I take pictures and then later when I want to find the picture to show someone I can't seem to find it because I don't know where it was put or why!

Very pleased with this app. Many options and all good. People always ask what kind of camera I have that my pics come out so much better than theirs. I just smile and say, "It's Gallery on my Samsung phone! You should get it...its free! 😁

I am having problems with my gallery. Ever since that I had my phone set to find my phone app, it became a mess. Had to go on the Verizon website and spoke online with some great people. They got my phone reset but, I didn't think about getting both the camera along with the gallery fixed. Should I get it reset? Please send me an English instruction of how I can get this fixed along with an English reply. Thank you!

It came preinstalled on my Samsung telephone. On the upside, it is quite good, it does the job, it performs well. I love, for example, the face recognition feature. On the downside, it looks and feels rather primitive, it is scarcely customizable, it is rather dull. I dislike, for example, that it will make an album out of any folder. I keep feeling uncomfortable and not home whenever I open this application. It just has a lot of room for improvement, I hope it leaps it some day.

This app has gone downhill with the lastest update with the story option. You can no longer save or share your stories. I can play them, great, but, I want to keep them ... (I did read that they may take that option out of gallery, but, it's a stupid decision) I was able to save one story this morning but after that, it did not allow me to save anymore. My fiance is able to save his stories and we have the same phones, S10+. Explain this to me ... Someone, please.

This app...with upgrades or something it does what it wants. I will delete pics, next day they are back with 2 or 3 copies. Sometimes the pics just triple themselves. Try to put in archive, lol, they come running back too. Doesn't matter if sync is on or off. Just really frustrated. Oh, changes stories you make to...sometimes you have music, next time you don't. Pics get deleted from story too. πŸ™„

I just had to uninstall the latest version for it to work. Gallery kept crashing upon trying to open it. It got so bad to the point where the "Gallery keeps stopping" prompt would appear even when I wasn't trying to open the app. I ruled out the possibility of a corrupted file and resorted to "uninstall" which brought me to the last WORKING version.

I have no complaints about the app. However, it would be nice to have the ability to have sub folders to help organize pictures. For example, you could have a main folder titled Vacation and a sub folder under called Disney (2019) and NYC (2018) inside of that main folder keeping the pictures for both vacations together while still maintaining some separation to keep things nice and organized. Thank you for reading and have a great day. Brandon

Don't auto rotate. Don't open the camera on back button. Show actual folders, not made up albums of completely unrelated pictures or an endless timeline of photos with random dates. Let me use a gallery app I want, rather than a built-in, optionless, and broken default app.

I've been a steadfast Samsung user for about 5 years now. During that time I've owned the S5, the S7, and now the S10e. I really do like the phones but they've all had one glaring issue. The SD card expanded memory corrupts all photos over time when you set it to be the storage location for your media. This is an absolute death sentence for photos. What's the point of having the awesome camera of the S10 line-up if you lose your photos a few days later? I am forced to use Google Photos instead.

My pictures or videos are not saving. There is just a gray box with an exclamation mark. Other pictures that I download or save have started disappearing with the same gray box and other pictures that I have are disappearing. The problem started occurring after the last two updates. I love Samsung! My first phone I purchased was a Samsung and 20 some years later I'm still using Samsung. Since I'm losing critical memories of my child's life and family events I'm going to a more stable company.

I loved the note 5 version . Albums were separated and this version has them separated but they all reappear together in the other tabs. No I want it like the note 5 had them. Seperteed and stay separated. Not in a different tab you see them all collectively together its annoying to make all these albums to only be useless as you need swipe left and they are mixed making your albums honestly no point.

I don't like how rotating a photo' results in saving it as a copy of the original. I believe that in previous versions this app' would simply save the original photo' with the change of rotation/orientation. Otherwise, while I don't use or care to use the Stories function, I find this app' to be simple, clean, and reliable; just the way I like it.

It has lots of storage and it'll keep all your pictures safe, you can draw on them and they look great theres stickers you can write titles it's awesome! And there's always something new like video pictures where it shows the whole thing of that moment

Is so much better than what it used to be, easier to share, edit, tag, and sort photos. I wish it were easier to categorize and tag photos without having to use another app, there is no easy way to use and sort the tags that are in the app.

Liked better before last upgrade bc afterwards: β€’Im noticing ive lost quite a few of my photos (& I've looked everywhere- They're literally just gone.) β€’Theres no longer a "Favorites" folder in the "Albums" section anymore, and β€’There's WAY less photo editing options now.... ....w.t.h. samsung!? But I guess other than all that, it works fine.

I notice that if I move photos from secure folder out to the gallery, the date changes to today's date. So, the real dates disappear. I dislike the inconsistencies. Please change it back. I appreciate the group and ungroup feature. Thx.

The major limitation of gallery is we can't arrange photos according to us like there are five photos sequence wise and if i want that photo number 1 should be beside photo number 5 then i can't do that. And 2nd limitation is when we move photos into albums then when we delete any photo in gallery, it automatically gets deleted from the album also.

it's alright the only problem is they say you can buy more storage for Samsung Cloud however I am not able to. I have a Samsung S8 Android phone and lives in America which meets all the criteria for getting more storage and yet I am unable to. I have emailed Samsung two times and they have sent me the same messages that are not helpful in any way.

over all it's great to use for editing any pictures that have been taken. But, a pain in the rear when it comes to attempting to restore pictures when the SD card is encrypted. I encrypted the SD card on this phone but it's saying that I didn't do it on this phone.

Very good at naming locations around the world with the name, date, time, city & country. Also great at screenshots & cropping to look like an original photo. I love the Samsung Galaxy S Series of phones. I had the S5 Active, the S8 & S8 Active & purchased another S5 Active because I love it so much. S5 Active is to take with me going International & the S8 Active is for use at home in this God Forsaken Dammed USofA. My phones are filled with pictures of my beloved Philippines

I cant even open this on my phone so I cant get my pictures I've tried everything! I even deleted all my downloaded apps to see if that's the problem. But nope! Update: Still not working and I need to use one of my photos for a big class and I cant even use the app to get it. It's not even syncing with google photos! Please help

This app is great for holding your photos. they delete easily, and at first had lots of options. Now, when I try to make a collage my screen goes black and it makes my phone glitch. As of the editing area (which holds the cropping, filters, etc.) doesn't come up at all. it also makes the app crash.

This is a nice app. The only thing I would change is that when you create an album and move a photo into that album, that the photo would disappear from the gallery. I don't want to see a photo in my gallery when I already see it in the album I placed it in.

Not all photos I take appear in Gallery. Those that don't, I set up in an Album, but even then, Gallery will not show all Albums. I've cleared caches, as was suggested, but that hasn't helped either. This is very frustrating. Please fix this.

They have alot of beautiful photos ,but they need to be updated in certain categories. For example ,I would like to see more sunsets ,sunrises ,more pictures of classic rock groups and artists, kuerig coffee machines ect........ .

the only problem I seem to have is that I had two cameras or like I believe when I got a upgrade on my gigabyte they gave me to camera so the old gigabytes photos I had all of a sudden just totally wiped out it's after 6 did not like that I'm trying to go back and see if I can find half of these pictures and get them which I believe what is the latest Aaliyah but other than that the app is great

I have always liked Gallery much more than any other app for storing photos the only problem i have is how do i keep my photos going there instead of google drive so sometimes I find . my photos elsewhere and I have multiple accounts aol etc so I'd like to keep my photos in one place and don't know how to set this up on my phone it's an android and one more thing being I have more than 3 gmail accounts when the password for 1 is reset does that mean all my passwords on gmail have changed

This used to be a 5 star app. Suddenly, a version was slipped into system "update" and critical editing features disappeared. I could use the Gallery Pro Editor to create high quality portraits. Now, it's like a 5 year old app. Please bring back the real advanced photo editor to the app.

Easy to use, love that I can create folders for different picture groups. I like all of the various filter options to be creative and make your pictures more artistic as well as add text! All the functions like cropping and editing functions are terrific!

Used to be better. Favorites disappear if you move a pic to a new folder. Crop and editing are harder with less options since the newer updates. For some reason folders aren't accessible to other apps anymore, just a general pic scroll which sucks if you want to post something specific that's buried at the end of the scroll. It's slow to use if you have a large gallery. Wish it would go back to a year or 2 ago when it was more user friendly

Love, hate relationship... I only use it for convenience right now... As a gallery app it's pretty good... But as a gallary app from Samsung (a company worth over $300bn, it's terrible. There are some extremely basic features missing: β€’ Option for no-prompt on photo delete? β€’ Cloud only recycle bin???? Is that like some way to force people to use your cloud services? News flash - it's not working. β€’ No option to "edit in {any 3rd party app} forces you to use the built-in editor Out of chara

Cool little app allows you to watermark pics as to take them. You can customize what you want said. I run a dog boarding facility and I take pics of the dogs and send them to clients. With this app I label the pictures with the company name and logo followed by the dog's name. It makes the pictures look that much more professional and easier to find when its time to send them. I use this app very often daily.

I take a lot. And. I mean. Alot of pictures, personal and professional. So it's nice to be able to move, conjoin, easily delete, and transfer pictures. And. Labeling different albums. It's top notch.

Samsung Gallery is a solid image collection app for phone use. I use it constantly but not in a very demanding way; my needs are quite simple to satisfy. There are basic labeling tools available, and everything is dependable and durable.

Excellent! Been using it since a while. Giving it 4 stars. Would give 5 stars if it allowed a little bit more text. After the last update, some of the feature disapeared. Overall would recommend it, works flawlessly!

It's a very good application to save photos but since like 1 month ago every time when I wanted to open this it was saying "Gallery has been stopped" or "Gallery keeps stopping". Please, fix this bug, I really want to enjoy my photos.

Worst gallery app I've ever encountered. Photos become 'greyed' out and disappear entirely as well. When following instructions on how to fix issue, suddenly realise that the 'clear cache' option doesn't exist. I'm currently wondering why I switched from HTC to Samsung. So many people rave about Samsung but so far my experience has been shoddy apps full of bugs and an os that is a pain in the rear to navigate, it downloads apps without my permission and causes me no end of irritation.

avoid at all cost. why would i want to use a cloud service that requires me to save backup to a memory card. why would i pay for a cloud service, why not just use the memory card. lost my entire galleries over 3 times. pretty devastating. this app is disgusting and misleading.

Terrible app! Too small text! I tap on a picture for any reason ei:to move to another it will change to smaller view & it doesn't go back easily. Honestly it makes me want to take the phone back. Galaxy store page text is incredibly tiny & can't read even with glasses. PLEASE add features to fix these issues. Add buttons to change the size of the look in INDIVIDUAL folders as well as size of text. I have the option to make text larger on the phone but doesn't work on Gallery or Samsung store!

Dear Sir, I installed your app, uploaded my pictures from my phone to the cloud, now what I noticed is that once I erased the pics from my phone I cannot seem to enlarge the photos on the cloud nor can I download them! Please do not tell me that I need to keep pictures on the phone in order for them to be usable and viewed on the Cloud? I have been using Samsung for ages but if it comes to the point that I cannot access my pics the disappointment will be immense! Please let me know what needs to be done in order for me to retrieve my pics from cloud storage to desktop? Best regards, Djordje

I use this app. a lot . I use it when I take things apart picture by picture , that way project goes back together without any problems . I use it for lots of ideas and projects and updated pictures of family and friends . Drawings , endless idea's .

It's got features that almost do what you want but not customized enough. Make it easier to make memes and gifs. I can put like 12 characters on a picture and cant change font size, can't crop or expand for making wallpaper or collages either. Should have filters.. why done need to download 8 other apps to do what should be possible with our standard gallery?? On that note why the hell can't we make video calls through our regular phone system yet? What are you guys even doing?

Before I used to love it but after updating it the option of "open in photo edit pro" is not showing. I used to edit a lot with this option but now can't do it. The reason for loving the phone has vanished now. πŸ˜“β˜Ή plz help as soon as possible

My God. This is the most useless app ever. Even worse that the galaxy s8+ back button that doesn't work. Take a screenshot to send to someone and it takes 5 minutes to show up in the gallery or it's lost it or filed it somewhere where no one can find.

It does what it suppose to do, view and organize pictures between albums in the internal storage and external storage. Not yet explored if any advance photo editing capabilities hence I give it only 4 stars for future improvement.

For some reason you guys got rid of the intensity sliders for the effects while in the photo editor. I used that editor for my work and needed those intensity sliders. edit- Lowered to 1 star because the app now tells me I dont have enough storage space to move photos to other albums even though I have plenty of space.

The recent updates took away the tool to smooth out imperfections, fix red eye and blur the backgrounds. I have the option to uninstall updates, however, I don't think that option was standard and I definitely don't want to lose the 3 seconds of picture that records just before and just after the photo is taken that I know came with an update. ugh. BRING IT BACK so I can buy the new S10e and give 5 stars πŸ˜‡πŸ‘©β€πŸ’»πŸ€·β€β™€οΈπŸ€¦β€β™€οΈπŸ€³πŸ€³πŸ€³πŸ‘β˜†β˜†β˜†β˜†β˜†

It was a good thing, see it was. i loved once but when i update to android 9 many features gone one by one for example ; edit panel in a previous version. now in android 9 there is nothing to edit but a bunch of creepy things thank you samsung in order to put us to damn old time like android 4 . please fix this issue .

Ever since Samsung shoved thru their latest "updates" my phone is screwed. Insanely fast battery drain, constant banner warnings even when requested to stop, ridiculously long charge times(rt now it's 24hrs on the exact same equipment that took less than an hr before the "updates"), on and on and on. Battery issues are just the tip. Didn't happen before the "updates", started immediately after. If these are "updates", why buy this cr@p?

Too basic, not enough chouces. I especially hate the crop function. Please stop it from re-adjusting as I enlarge or move my pics around. I want the crop to be exactly as I choose, not the way Samsung thinks it should be just because I make it bigger. You've remove a lot of the great features you used to have and it also more difficult to find stuff. Too many extra steps.

Does everything I need it too, as well as conveniently place my sd card files separate from internal storage, allows me to move rather freely from folder to folder and arrange them based on preferences. The only flaw I see is when moving files from folder to folder it want run that transfer in the background allowing me to go back freely to browsing my gallery. Cheers though

Awesome 🧑 I don't need to download photo editing apps to edit my photos which is really great. Also makes it easy for me to post photos on social media and it syncs with my Google Photos automatically so I can delete photos to save device storage.

Been with Samsung 6 or so years now.. apart doing what it ( all the sumsung phones ive had) wants in your pocket including ringing some one, and random outbursts from YouTube or Spotify... despite locked and sensitivity settings... they are ok phones. The earlier ones had the hot battery issue but that seems to go ok with the newer ones. . Reviewed 22st August 2019

Not bad, but the way the gallery decides to arrange albums is confusing. Some of the albums are arranged alphabetically... But then when I started new albums, the gallery put them all the way in the end... So now I have a mixed bag of alphabetical albums and non alphabetical albums. Confusing!

When I transferred my pics from my internal storage to my sd card it put lots of my pics in the wrong place but I think that was partly my phone, when I delete pics it moves them to the recycle bin so I then have to go into recycle bin to delete them again otherwise it takes up storage, but I like how I creates stories for days when I've taken loads of pics (quite useful for when I went on holiday) and I can sort my pics into different albums, overall a fairly good app!

This app fails miserably at the one thing it's supposed to do- view the photos on your phone. When looking at your photos on this app large translucent black margins are overlayed on the photos. They do not go away if you wait, and there is not a setting to hide them. You cannot zoom out and see what's on the top/bottom of the picture. 1/4 of your picture is hidden. I thought that updates would fix it but it seems to be here to stay. The app also crashes at random times. Avoid this app.

Was ok but strange things have going on and app settings being changed constantly. I'm now looking for an alternative and disabling. Another Samsung fail or its this garbage Note 8 purchase through the dodgy Australian KOGAN company selling Chinese tech here in Australia cheep, its a disgrace and the problems those imported devices have is insane. Those Chinese devices were meant for that region so stop screwing people over KOGAN :(

I'm not thrilled with the limited ways to edit my photos now. Truthfully, I prefer the version before this. I gave this app 2 stars because I did not wish to be cruel but am I happy with this app, no I'm not.

I m using Samsung mobile phones from approx. 12 years Every segment is very friendly and easy to use. Currently i am using S8, this is one of the best cell phone of samsung, but there is hanging issue in it. (Very rare)

The app is amazing as there is feature to create collage, GIF, and more but the duration of photos in recycle bin should be increased to 1 month and there should be notified for each pic that for how long it is in recycle bin . Just some improvements needed , otherwise app is amazing. Great job samsung πŸ‘

I am not very good at smart phones. I mostly use the phone for audio/ video communication, WhatsApp, photo the documents and and transporting to the other end. I think I have to spend more time and understand the applications. Your phones are good.

Works well enough as a basic gallery that I no longer use a separate app. Improved editing functionality would be really useful, including the ability to correct the time stamp on the photo.

Dumb. The pictures don't load right. you can't just scroll through pics without them being super blurry and taking a minute to load. You also can't just watch videos without it talking about "downloading videos to the cloud" Samsung gallery has been the worst thing about Samsung. I like pretty much everything else. And also now it moves your deleted photos to the trash, who knows if they're actually deleting and not going to some album I can't access. I have no idea.

Changes forced by update now show all folders with photos. Whether they're ones you want other people to be able to see or not. You should be able to remove the stories, shared, and mixed photos folders if not wanted. So now I have no privacy with my personal photos. Samsung always adding more features where do you want them or not. Constantly trying to bog down my operating system and make consumers constantly relearn applications.

This is a great phone & it takes great pictures! Even when they aren't perfect the editing feature allows you to fix it up. Still haven't figured out how to move pictures to my album but i know it's got to have a way to do so because it transferred it from my other phone. Would recommend Samsung Galaxy 9s Plus!

The only problem I have is randomly the app will split a album. Meaning I will try to move photos to an existing album but instead they will be seperate but with the same album name. It is frustrating when I am looking for a particular photo but can not remember which album it is in.

I am a samsung mobile fan n had been using samsung mobile for years. The best default gallery app is still the one in galaxy note 4. The gallery app in samsung note 10+ REALLY SUCKS! The featues are limited n restricted unlike those in the galacy note 4 gallery app.when comes to editting.Very disappointed with the gallery app features, luckily I still keep my galaxy note 4.

Backing up photos and deleting gallery photos is a bit of a hassle because if you delete the gallery photo it will get rid of the Samsung Cloud one, they should both be separate galleries really, and when I take a photo it will sync to it, but if I delete a photo I would have to delete it manually in cloud

I am not a "techy" person. I keep things simple when it comes to gadgets. It prompted me to rate this thing, so I am giving it 5 stars because I have no complaints so far. I can look at and organize my photos. Brilliant. πŸ‘

please make the gallery after editing a photo and saved, be able to revert to original photo. also, be able to make a copy of a photo to the album so can have multiple, just in case wanted to edit one or multiple and have the original unedited version.
