So far I've enjoyed having an actual running plan that also walks through intervals and speedwork in addition to distance. However, the GPS and mapping is very inaccurate. I just completed nearly 3 miles for my first long run in about 5 years, and it said I'd only done 1.8. My 1 mile split was 33 minutes! Um... I may not be the fastest runner in the world, but I'm certainly not that slow!! Even after editing the workout, it still had an incorrect split recorded.

Great training plans and paces etc. Actually using the app for tracking sucks but use a sports watch and do the workouts the app suggests and you'll be smashing it

I really like that the schedule adapts to your current level of health, but it's not flexible. If you do activities different than the assigned day (ex: do Wednesday's activity on Thursday and visa versa), it doesn't count. It made me feel really bad about myself because I wasn't "checking off the boxes" even though I was doing 90-ish% of the activities.

Big caveat: only use this app if you have some other way to track your actual runs - the GPS algorithm is terrible. However, it is a really good app for training plans with more interesting sessions than most and adjusts your target pace well based on performance level. Easy run pace a little quick for my liking but other than that good.

Love the concept and works 80% of the time. there have been numerous times during my runs the app won't open in the middle of the run and I have to restart my app and luckily the distance will log. But on days like today ,(while definitely getting a new PR) the app stopped all together and lost ALL OF THE DATA. literally logging this on the way back to my house. Definitely demoralizing when you are putting your best effort out with nothing to show for it.

Just an okay app. I like the calendar and the suggestions it provides me for training workouts. Plus, the YouTube video links are kind of neat if you're into that. However, I just want the calendar to actually give me the "check mark" for completing an assigned activity. Perhaps connecting/syncing with my Garmin watch for tracking is what throws off my calendar/log, but even when I edit the activity, like logging my long run as a long run, I don't get the check off....

I am a user and have no ties to the app owners or developers. I've used this app for over a year now along side Strava meaning on every run I use both apps. Strava is nice for following your friends, but it is really a different product. Here's why: 1. The custom tailored programs toward race goals are second to none. Trust the app training program and you will achieve amazing performance improvements! 2. The app is actively maintained. My experience is the app works and works well but I don't use the sync features some refer to here. 3. There are many features available in the free app, but if you really want the full benefit of Runcoach sign up for the gold plan. With the gold plan you get 1 on 1 timely feed back from professional coaches. Try getting a few HOURS of personal customized coaching and you'll see the value of getting a full YEAR of personal guidance through the coaches tied to this app. For example, I have had my training program tuned several times, received guidance on injury management, race nutrition and race strategy. Google can certainly give you thousands of blogs to read on these topics, but this feedback will be focused for you!
