Connect with Giant Smart Trainer After pair with Giant Smart Trainer, you can view immediately cycling data, adjust the resistance level and update firmware by the RideLink app. Also the RideLink app can connect with BLE compatible HR belt and cadence sensor to show heart rate and cadence data to see your overall workout performance. Use RideLink to calibrate and update the firmware before your ride with Power Pro. This will ensure that all data output is accurate. Workout data is saved in the RideLink app. You can also forward ride data via email to evaluate your ride performance and make future training adjustments. This app is garbage. It has to give me like 10 notifications that firmware can be upgraded. Of course, when I try to upgrade it it fails every time. The power meter sucks too. Right power isn't reading at all. It's only 6 weeks old.

Last update bricked my PM. New bike and now it doesn't work. Ugh. Slow to update this review: the most recent update resolved my issues. Looks like we're back up and running.

Giant should be embarrassed by this app. Firmware upate fails. App doesnt even give left right battery levels. Wow, just wow.

2020 model, but new bike, owned for about 3 weeks... have ridden about 200 km and can't get the app to work right. Can get a Bluetooth connection, can update firmware and calibrate... but only the speed is/was working...although on one short trip, cadence and power suddenly started reporting but then stopped and hasn't worked since. Pretty disappointing, will have to go back to Giant and find out what the heck is going on.
