DO NOT UPDATE!!! I bought the X7 having read all the reviews and used it because of all the available features it contains !!! Since the last update, I have problems logging in, receive constant 'sync' requests, which when I am using the device, these syncs fail and I have to start all over again. You have removed the report function and expect me to pay an annual fee of £79.99 to access the reports, which were included in the original software.

The app forced me to update to the new version. Now the app is pretty useless. The nice calender with the intuitive overview is gone, same for the pictographs which were really helpful to understand correlations. Meds cannot be added anymore. Linking with the activity tracker works only for one type (google). The history is hard to read. I uninstalled the app. Tried to get the previous version, as the pics in play store suggest, but no luck. Too bad. How can one destroy such a good app.

Tried to upgrade to the latest version as encouraged by the app. It crashes without loading and when I try to log on to "the cloud" the only countries one can select are USA and Canada, although the app is named ...EMEA; I'm in Great Britain. I see that many others have the same problem - Omron has not responded here nor to my emails to support. VERY disappointing. NJSS

Horrible app. Since new app version this app every time converts data. Why? And device sync stays in background. Why? You can only stop this in app manager after every usage of omron connect. And possibility to add small pictograms to measurements is gone. You can not change blood pressure diagram. The old version displays a line for every day. Now you see 2 dots. Is there an alternative for this horrible app?

Very bad user experience. Just to name a few: - the app needs updating every several days. This is not optional nor can you postpone it until is convenient for you. If you don't update you can't use it. The popup will just not go away. I have no other app that is so aggresive. - the update notes always have the same message: generic improvements and performance... So I basically have no idea what is included in all those updates that I am forced to make.

This app is far from perfect, but unlike the new app, this one allows you to generate useful reports and actually mail them to yourself. The "software update within the app" feature looks somewhat shady to me. Anyhow, will stick with this one until it's no longer working. I hope OMRON get their 💩 together until then and have their new clusterf I mean app fixed.

The weight reading on the app differs from the scale by .2 after syncing. The daily journal has gone which was a helpful reminder for taking my drugs. The graphs are unreadable so not worth having. The muscle and fat reading has been separated from the weight reading and the dashboard is a mess to look at. The previous app was much better to read at a glance.

Updated now the app is terrible, keeps asking to sync, and is certainly not better than the old version. Update is so you have to pay for a proper download.Have deleted and use an older method of recording from a previous Omron. It will mean manual editing but the details are still good and my doctors were happy with this method.

Cannot connect with RS7 If I need to turn on location service the question is what for? What for are try to collect anything. Why display use so poor polarizer glass. It is really hard to read the display. There is blue led inside. Why it thaes not light whole display? I know, RS8 will do. How can I give it to older person. App interface should use more contrast also. Those young designers...

The latest update is nowhere near as good as the previous version. Elements are now missing such as medicine records and activity records. It is more complicated to use and does not sync so well. A very poor upgrade that can only be described as a downgrade. The upgrade needs urgent review.
