I really like this app and would certainly recommend it instead of "NOAA Weather Unofficial". This app basically does the same and it actually works. Additionally, you can save numerous locations (I have 10 or so saved). The only thing I wish were different: Make the hourly forecast out to 7 days like the NWS does on their website.

11-2-21. I like this app but it needs A-Z LISTING OVERVIEWS. SUGGESTIONS: . • Need worldwide hazardous conditions with a LISTING A-Z. • LISTING A-Z & weather conditions for lightning mapped. • Re: RAIN & SNOW hazardous alerts. I had to look at the US map & spot location on areas where the radar showed the green color. Then tap city name for info. Pls add an A-Z LISTING of all areas with weather alerts for a quick look overview of each country's severe areas with alerts.

NOAA is as accurate as anyone can be about weather. But it is difficult to save other locations and for me it's fun to know weather for distant family and friends Update: the NOAA developer got back to me quickly and explained all I had to do was tap the star next to the town! great app, fairly accurate, not to hard to navigate. best part is the ad is only a small bar at bottom and NOT intrusive take over your phone and blast noise while on silent mode like all the other apps. hell every one of them pull info from NOAA public whether info anyways. use this app over others.

Comprehensive and consistently accurate. The forecasts are easy to understand, and the radar data is the best that I have seen. The alerts and warnings are especially informative for safety. "Don't leave home without it".

I was looking for a weather app that didn't take so long to start up like Weather Underground. This NOAA app is great! You get official forecasts from the National Weather Service without all the hype and ads the commercial apps have (Weather Bug, The Weather Channel). Looking forward to seeing how it behaves when hurricane season begins in June!

This app should give us the option when the weather is "Thunderstorm in the vicinity" or similar or worse, we get an audio alert at least once every couple of hours.

pretty damn straight to the point. Not invasive, either. Supplements the OpenWeather app, which I keep for its widgets and simple beauty. NOAA Weather seems to be the next best thing. Cheers.
