The idea behind a noise machine, is to make use of the noises you like to mask the noises you dislike. The concept is simple, works extremely well, and does not require expensive equipment, such as active noise cancelling headphones.

Background noises can be used in a variety of ways throughout your daily lives, and by all audiences. They can not only help you focus while working in a noisy environment, or help to settle your anxiety, but they are also useful in cases of insomnia or tinnitus. Fortunately, you don't need a specific reason to start listening to our noise generators! These are all sonic marvels that you will simply enjoy listening to; candy for your ears!

myNoise is free, with White Noise, Rain Noise, Binaural Beats, Spring Walk, Temple Bells and Warp Speed, the white noise machine for Sci-Fi fans!

Terms of use: these sound generators are provided for personal/private use only. myNoise audio stems are subject to copyright and shall not be used in any other context without permission.

Reviews From google play store

So happy this app finally exists! I have the most recent version (1.5.1) and it still says battery and heats the phone (Google pixel) up quickly, so one star deducted for now. Unfortunately I can't use normal CPU mode because the sounds stop when the phone sleeps. Looking forward to bumping up the rating when this issue is fixed. For now I'll use the website. Interface is intuitive and it's easy to save presets. I hope in the future there will be a way to load supergens. I have a lot of custom ones I use on the website.

This is simply the best sound-app ever. I recommend it to everyone, and have even purchased the All You Can Hear package for loved ones. But after the last update, as I and others have mentioned before, the volume has been severely reduced. Device volume at full, sliders have to be all the way up to hear it at all. I know this app and your website need money to run, and beta must be on its way...? Still the best, despite this! You're a genius.

This is my all time favorite noise app. I would give 5 stars because it's stunning except for 2 things. 1. I recently switched from iOS to android. I had purchased the option to have all sounds current and future on my old phone, but there is no way to transfer it to this phone apparently. And now the price is higher. 2. This is the main reason. Even if I force close the app, the sound doesn't stop. I don't understand this and honestly it is keeping me from using it a lot of the time. If the developers could fix this, even with the purchase thing, I would give this app 5 stars because it's just so stunning.

this app is great, but it needs one thing to be truly amazing - please consider creating an option to run multiple sounds at once. when my friend showed me this, she was using the web browser version and running 4 at the same time. it makes a huge difference. for example, running thunder, rain on a tent, and forest together really helps keep the brain from getting bored without becoming overstimulated. helps me maintain a relaxed state :) otherwise, this is a great app and a good alternative to my usual asmr. thanks!

TLDR: App fails at basic function - playing continuous sound. Do not sleep to it if you want to stay asleep. At first I liked the app and even paid for some sounds. However after being woken up in the middle of the night for the N'th time because myNoise is pausing intermittently as if it's buffering audio - and getting no support response from myNoise, have decided to uninstall. Not worth the sleep deprivation. Back to 10hr long audio files for me.

A great app for productivity and blocking unwanted sounds. Their main website (for desktop) is ten times better with way more sound albums to choose from. I'm hoping my favorite sounds (driving a car through the rain or the campire sounds) will be imported to the app version at some point! They're very relaxing. Lots of user control on what you listen to and at what volumn. I highly reccomend donating if you can!

High quality white noise is surprisingly difficult to generate. Aural aliasing artifacts are common if the sample rate is too low. This is *the only* app I've found that comes close to analog-quality white noise. The equalizer is an essential feature. Other reviewers are correct when they say it consumes battery life. White noise is computationally expensive, because of the high sample rates required. My only complaint is that it seems the app still consumes battery when it is paused.

If it's not a 5 star rating dont listen to it. This app is literally the best thing i have found for my needs to go to sleep and quiet my thoughts. I use it for only that purpose and it does that while exceeding my expectations. Im one happy canadian. :p

Great sounds and stable but UI is lacking. Custom saved sounds are too cumbersome to get to. Needs an option to save mixes on the home screen, and access them with 1 tap. As it is, you have to tap to chose the generator, then tap to open the sounds, then scroll to chose which one, then tap again to make it play. Its bad UI design. Put a favorites screen right when the app opens and 1 tap to play, then its a 5 star app.

So much more limited than website. The noises are incredibles, but I wish I could adjust the volumes globally, not just one band at a time. Bluetooth play/stop button is also not supported.

Provides the same basic experience as the website but, as others have mentioned, there are some limitations. There is no global volume control and I don't know if its just me but saving presets doesn't seem to work. The option to save seems to be there, though the implementation is confusing (a hamburger menu button functions like a save/add button?) but it doesnt seem to actually do anything (nothing is added to the lists that appear?). I have to modify the channels every time.

Hasn't worked right on Android in weeks. Crashes within seconds. I even deleted and re-installed, all that did was make me lose ALL the sounds I paid extra for. App is fine....when it runs. The variety of sounds is great....when the app works.

always thought it randomly stopped in the background because I was running out of RAM. Nope! I have six gigs of RAM on my s10e and this pos app won't stay open for more than a minute unless it is in focus.

This review is dedicated to Kevin, because every office has a Kevin. Our Kevin doesn't have an indoor voice and he takes conference calls at his desk--using the speakerphone. Kevin also likes to talk about his weeks-long bicycle treks, which we enjoy because Kevin is not in the office when he is on his bicycle. Kevin is confused that everyone in the office wears headphones. Some people listen to Norwegian death metal because it drowns out Kevin's conversations. I like listening to the rainstorm using myNoise with intermittent thunder and imagining Kevin being stuck on a mountain somewhere, cowering under a rock ledge in the middle of a rainstorm.

Makes loud random staticky pops on my device. Does not save any presets I've configured...i can name and click save, but if i close it and come back, nothing's been saved. Gave stars for a clean front end and nice choices of sounds, but it is otherwise nonworking.

This app EATS MY BATTERY! It doesn't close when you exit and has been running in my background for many months without me using it. I thought my battery suddenly got bad and never connected the dots, but today I checked battery usage after a day with almost no activity (only 50 min on screen time) and it was at the top consuming 30 % (524 mAh) of my battery! Haven't used the app in months and I can't see that it's running in the background. If you fix this devs I will change my review because otherwise it's an OK app. I just wish I didn't live 6 months with battery problems and only learned why now By the way, I'm on a Nexus 5x.

This would be a five star review but app eats battery even when not in use. I have to force stop every time I exit to conserve battery. Two hours sitting in my pocket doing nothing it ate 44% of my battery.

This would be a perfect 5 star review EXCEPT: As others rightly note, if you don't force stop the app when you're done listening, it will drain your battery. Devs, please fix this otherwise awesome app so your art can shine!

The best white noise you can find. Sadly the app is broken. I've used it on a Moto e4 plus and a galaxy s10 and it crashes constantly and refuses to download new sounds. When it isn't shutting down in the background it will continually trigger crash messages until you restart the phone. If it was fixed I'd use in a heartbeat, though, myNoise is amazing

I would love to love this app, but it heats my phone up like a stove, and eats my battery as if it were mining btc in the background (which I don't think it is). At this point, I find is more efficient to just use the web version with Chrome on Android. That doesn't seem to abuse the CPU. I still keep it around for times when there's no Wifi, but still can keep it charged (like flights)
