The idea behind a noise machine, is to make use of the noises you like to mask the noises you dislike. The concept is simple, works extremely well, and does not require expensive equipment, such as active noise cancelling headphones.

Background noises can be used in a variety of ways throughout your daily lives, and by all audiences. They can not only help you focus while working in a noisy environment, or help to settle your anxiety, but they are also useful in cases of insomnia or tinnitus. Fortunately, you don't need a specific reason to start listening to our noise generators! These are all sonic marvels that you will simply enjoy listening to; candy for your ears!

myNoise is free, with White Noise, Rain Noise, Binaural Beats, Spring Walk, Temple Bells and Warp Speed, the white noise machine for Sci-Fi fans!

Terms of use: these sound generators are provided for personal/private use only. myNoise audio stems are subject to copyright and shall not be used in any other context without permission.

Love the soundscapes. Personally recommend the website over the app as the app features are rather limited in comparison. My main disappointment is that I can resume after pausing and leaving the app in the background; I always have to return to the menu, select again and then adjust the levels. It's rather irritating and makes use of the app a negative experience, tbh. Maybe we can get an update that addresses this issue? Hope to see more support for the app in the near future

  2. Toneka Smith-avatar

I bought the cafe restaurant to add to the collection and it didn't work. I'm glad I only spent $1 to test it and did not spend the $11.99 for the whole package. Who knows how many of these sounds don't work. Going back to my old app relax and sleep. But if you really need coffee shop noise go to YouTube and look up coffee shop noise. There is a really nice one called rainy day at the coffee shop ambience. Its 8 hours long

An amazing relaxation and sound masking app. At first I thought it was expensive compared to other sound relaxation apps in the store, but it quickly became one of my most frequently used paid apps. The dedication and quality of recordings made by it's developer is just outstanding, You can try the web version of the app to get an idea of the quality if you're not sure. The app has a huge amount of sounds or "noises" to choose from, each can be further tailored. Definitely well worth the price!

  4. I C-avatar

Certainly needs a lot of improvement, but a great noise creation app nonetheless. The thing I really need this app to have from the main site is being able to play multiple generators at a time.

  5. Ted M-avatar

    Ted M

Very good but 9 times out of 10 it never turns off. If I set it to go off, it shows what time it plays to, but continues. I have the bundle to help support the developer.

  6. Rose Van Zeeland-avatar

    Rose Van Zeeland

It's not a BAD app, it just doesn't offer any advantages, so far as I can see, over the website - and, in fact, offers significantly *less* variety for free users. I'll be sticking with the website.

  7. Seth Pine-avatar

Absolutely love this app. I bought the generator bundle years ago and it was worth every penny. Super user friendly and great for falling asleep to or background noise. Highly recommend.

  8. Jens Reimann-avatar

The idea is great. The generators amazing. The app is quite buggy, but I like the idea that it can run locally. On the other hand, I really miss Chromecast support.

  9. Kenna M-avatar

I've loved the website for years for when I'm trying to write. I recently decided i needed to do my rough draft by hand instead of on my laptop, so I went to see if i could access the site on mobile instead and found the app! Very happy.

NO ADS! Many excellent generators for free but I can't wait to buy the bundle. You can just instantly immerse yourself in any landscape. Also CARBON NEUTRAL like whaaaat? Downloads are small Easy to use - has saved me from rage on countless occasions and replaces the time I would be midnlessly flickering through Spotify

  11. Paul Cohen-avatar

    Paul Cohen

Very flaky. I love the app concept, bought the full pack, but it just randomly stops playing. It's a very frustrating UX which ruins a great concept. Developers also do NOT respond to any feedback or bug reports, which is always a terrible sign. I'll revisit this review if it is fixed.

  12. Tangil Jenning-avatar

It is so good, it feels like robbery. I probably will purchase this in a few years. I love the EQ verticle frequency bars. Too many features to state here. My guilt is hounding me. How much $ again?

  13. Sara Rogers-avatar

    Sara Rogers

I love this app but I love the website better. I know why it makes that skipping sound on the app but I wish there was a way to fix it, it starts to defeat the purpose of listening to relaxing sounds. Update: Thank you I will look into that!

Your noise (well technically its every noise, really) your way. I return to this when I need to focus. Excellent work by the Stephan and the developer. Thank you.

  15. Paul Archer-avatar

    Paul Archer

The generators are complex (in a good way) and generate quite a variety of sounds. There are good presets for each one, too. But the interface pretty well sucks. For example, I was playing sound from a generator using one of the built-in presets. I got a call, and when the call was over, the sound didn't restart. I had to open the app, pick the generator, and then pick the preset again. And if you start playing, then go back off that generator's page, there are no controls for the sound.

  16. Ana Peduk-avatar

    Ana Peduk

I have loved the options available on the app, however in the last few months, I am assulted by random loud popping noises, and the sounds completely stop after a couple minutes, no matter which sound I select. It used to be my favorite study tool, because it was so customizable and monotonous, and I would use it for hours to block out the noise in the world. I can't do that any more though 😞 I would love for those issues to be resolved so I can use the app again!

  17. T F-avatar

    T F

This app is the only solution I've found that can make my tinnitus bearable. I use white noise around my tinnitus frequency to mask the tinnitus tone. An option for half-octave frequency bands would be better, though, so it could be tailored better to individual conditions. And the app version, compared to the web version, lacks an overall volume control, which is a bit annoying when I use another sound-producing app.

  18. David Valentine-Hagart-avatar

    David Valentine-Hagart

Fab sounds. Not a five star app though. Play controls don't work, until I jiggle a slider. The UI is quite hard to navigate. Not at all intuitive compared to the amazing website. Holding off on new generators until the next update.

  19. K K-avatar

    K K

I love this app & website. I often have difficulty sleeping and anxiety. Tried out "Rain Noise", which was free. It's great as I could vary different background sounds and mute those that I don't like. Although it's not magic where I can go to sleep immediately, I feel more relaxed before bedtime and I could fall back asleep quickly after waking up in the middle of the night. I've bought the bundle to support you. Keep up the good work. Edit: it'll be great if this app could "cast" to speakers

  20. Lan Skandal-avatar

    Lan Skandal

I'm a long time user of the website and this app, but the app has gotten buggy lately. I can't get the noise generators to play unless I press "animate". I can't download more than two or three generators at a time without having to restart the app. And sometimes the generator stops playing altogether and I have to reboot it, again. I love the variety of soundscapes and the customization available, but the app has some usability issues that haven't been fixed for a while.

  21. Angela-avatar

Completely unuseable. I paid to download the full bundle but as soon as i did all the sounds have a crackle sound that wont go away. This has continued to happen despite the recent update. Disappointing.

  22. Tim L-avatar

    Tim L

Great app, I use it with my noise cancelling headphones in the office quite frequently to drown out the office chatter. Among the best apps I've bought so far, despite the slightly steep price tag. The quality of the recordings are absolutely fantastic. For those who have had problems with jittery audio, try restarting your phone. I encounter this myself once in a while, and restarting the phone resolves it.

  23. Elida Smalietis-avatar

This app made such a difference in my life with. I work from home in an extremely noisy neighbourhood. Since I started using it, I can concentrate and work more efficiently, with no distractions of all sorts from outdoor noises. when I'm working on my PC all the time. I can also sleep better. I also use on my PC, and I live it. Great apps that really work for me.

  24. Patrice Pearce-avatar

    Patrice Pearce

I use the MyNoise website daily and have donated regularly because it really has the best quality sounds I've heard, but the app is a fail. I was hoping it would be just like the website. The UI is too complicated and you spend so much time futzing around with it that you're no longer sleepy when you've found your sound. Sound crackles regularly and it doesn't play when minimized. I so wanted this to work because I love the website so...

  25. Brad P-avatar

    Brad P

A great app. I have bought the entire sound pack since all of the stems are high quality and very creative. I've been a user of the website for years and it only gets better with time. Only thing I would like to see is a milti generator in the app, but hey I'm still very happy. Listen anywhere to help keep your mental zen. Really great for meditation or the occasional bad day

  26. Margaret Dudrey-avatar

I use this daily both in the office to drown out noisy co-workers and at home to help me concentrate. Sound quality is excellent and so is the ability to personalize the settings.

  27. Strathmore Turner-avatar

I like the app. However, not super intuitive, lacking play/pause in notification shade, and volume is low in comparison to other apps which is sorta startling. I do like the app though.

  28. James Walker-avatar

    James Walker

Barely able to interact with the app: menus freeze; controls do nothing; the download page only has one entry that seems to just be "everything". Just use the web app, quite frankly.

  29. Thomas Chu-avatar

Like the sounds, but app is very buggy, hard to navigate, and not intuitive. Timers don't work.

  30. Jacob Rendall-avatar

    Jacob Rendall

I love this app, usually I use the PC version but I got the app and got the pack with everything just because I like it so much. My only issue is that some "noises" like the scifi ship are quiet while others like the Finnish sauna are much louder. The other issue is that sound doesn't actually load until I load a preset. Do I need to reinstall or something or is my phone just acting up?

Great app! I use it every day at work as I work in an open office space. The different soundscapes also work as great backgrounds while reading and writing. The creator of the app and the website is an extremely gracious person and replies to emails immediately. Everyone who benefits from this app should consider supporting the project by buying membership on the website.

This app is amazing. This is a one stop destination for all the students out there searching for a bundle of white noise....perfect and no strings attached. The user experience is brilliant and I would urge everyone to take time out and try this app out....Its brilliant!!! Thanks!

Man I love the white noise customizer but the phone app is very choppy on my S8. If they can fix that this app will be perfect but as is it's unusable

  36. Brian V-avatar

    Brian V

This does not work as well as the web site. The sounds level is too low. I have to toggle the volume to 100. When I set it to animate, the sound will get too loud, and then too low. When I try to move the slides, they jump back to the original low volume.

  37. Grounded Swallow-avatar

The only service I have found which actually delivers customisable sounds for almost every mood and scenario. Only thing I hope is that more sounds come to the Android app in time :)

  38. Mike Nielsen-avatar

I enjoy the app, love it while camping or just relaxing. The current version does have quite a few pops and cracks in audio playback even with the buffer maxed out. I hear tell that a full new-release will fix these issues. If you need a beta tester lemme know :)

  39. Kaelyn Petra-avatar

Is there a way to increase/decrease volume of all the noise slider together in one time without disturbing the device's media volume? I also have an ios version and the available way is just to swipe left/right to do so.

Nothing I do can stop the snapping sounds . I can play a mynoise generator on my mobile browser without that issue, but I can't adjust the sliders in my browser. So, to use it on my phone, I either have to be find with whatever the sliders default to, or brace myself for a bunch of loud pops.

Would love to be able to cast the noise generators from the app so I can use them while I sleep without having to fuss with casting my phone!

Good idea, but meh. Trying to give more options but fails. I like rain sound but not the swimming water sound. Supposedly you can lower specific sounds but it's in all of them. Really disturbing. I had high hopes. Gotta go use my old app.

  47. Mark Fickett-avatar

    Mark Fickett

Good sounds, rebalancing is awesome, and I like the fade-out timer. Unfortunately on my phone (1st gen Pixel) sounds won't play again after pausing, so I had to frequently force-stop the app. Using Rain Rain for the time being.

  48. Fyre knight-avatar

    Fyre knight

Finally an app for myNoise! I loved the website, I used it for working out, cleaning, unwinding, even for some of my dnd campaigns. I plan to buy all the generators next time I get paid. Since I'm done with all the praises, I move to the complaints. I wish there was a way to layer the generators. It can only download three generators. When I pause, it closes the app.

  51. Andrew Hamp-avatar

    Andrew Hamp

This is simply the best sound-app ever. I recommend it to everyone, and have even purchased the All You Can Hear package for loved ones. But after the last update, as I and others have mentioned before, the volume has been severely reduced. Device volume at full, sliders have to be all the way up to hear it at all. I know this app and your website need money to run, and beta must be on its way...? Still the best, despite this! You're a genius.

  52. Brian-avatar

A stand out from other noise generators with variable parameter drift. Many base noises to choose from.

  53. A Google user-avatar

Been using myNoise to sleep for 4 years now, it literally changed my life. I always play it on a iPad, sometimes with an aux cord, others out loud. On average, it needs about 15% battery a night. The app for android, however, seems to drain too much battery no matter how it's being played. This should be fixed... I'll make another donation!

  54. Andrew Harrell-avatar

    Andrew Harrell

Great sounds and stable but UI is lacking. Custom saved sounds are too cumbersome to get to. Needs an option to save mixes on the home screen, and access them with 1 tap. As it is, you have to tap to chose the generator, then tap to open the sounds, then scroll to chose which one, then tap again to make it play. Its bad UI design. Put a favorites screen right when the app opens and 1 tap to play, then its a 5 star app.

  55. Chris Holt-avatar

Love this selectable app to change things around but it stops sometimes for no reason and have to restart one you are trying to relax doesn't help

  56. Brad Johnson-avatar

    Brad Johnson

It's great, find a lot of time spent listening and enjoying. Although I do find it a shame that despite buying the "Everything" bundle (which is ABSOLUTELY worth it, there's so many good ones), I had to manually click download dozens of times due to the high amount of generators. That being said, please add a download all button. Please. I don't want to even think about the nightmare it'll be, doing that some 2 or 3 years from now while on a new phone. Please save us.

  57. C Brown-avatar

    C Brown

Great for insomniacs, writers, or people who want ambience and background noise. you can customize the layers of sound and even mix 2 different generators together. I have noticed an annoying bug however. I have the "All you can hear pack" (one time fee to access to all current and upcoming sounds). Downloading individually sucks but when you download a sound and the list moves up, the download button doesnt work until you refresh. Its not enough to take a star off however.

  58. Thomas Moreau-avatar

The app itself is pretty solid, but I miss being able to mix and match generators like I could on IOS. It's okay without that, but boy do I miss it.

Truly a labor of love. I have been using MyNoise for years, before it was an app. I have used them to study, sleep, play table top games. Amazing work.

Doesn't work. Just loud popping sounds. Shame can't login with website credentials.

  61. D O' B-avatar

Provides the same basic experience as the website but, as others have mentioned, there are some limitations. There is no global volume control and I don't know if its just me but saving presets doesn't seem to work. The option to save seems to be there, though the implementation is confusing (a hamburger menu button functions like a save/add button?) but it doesnt seem to actually do anything (nothing is added to the lists that appear?). I have to modify the channels every time.

  62. David corisis-avatar

    David corisis

All the sounds are great but the app itself needs some polishing. The pause feature hardly ever works and sometimes you will get two different sounds playing at once. Sometimes the app will just stop playing altogether after a few minutes. Other times you will need to actually restart your phone to get it to stop playing. Gladly change my rating to a 5 if these bugs are fixed.

  63. Zach Ulle-avatar

    Zach Ulle

This app has tons of potential. Website is fantastic. Paid the $10 for the fully-fledged app to support development. But seems not much happening on that front as over a year since last update. App needs better notification shade & lockscreen controls for quick stop/start during use. Would also benefit from better implementation of the "favorites" system for faster recall of presets. Hoping to see more development because this app has true potential to dominate the ambient sound app genre.

  64. Nishant-avatar

Bug: Paused. Go to recents. Come back after some time. It won't play again unless you go back to the menu and select Rain Sounds again. Missing Volume balance for tinnitus

  65. Flora H. V. Adams-avatar

A great app for productivity and blocking unwanted sounds. Their main website (for desktop) is ten times better with way more sound albums to choose from. I'm hoping my favorite sounds (driving a car through the rain or the campire sounds) will be imported to the app version at some point! They're very relaxing. Lots of user control on what you listen to and at what volumn. I highly reccomend donating if you can!

  66. Francine Carrel-avatar

    Francine Carrel

Positive: The noise library, and the ridiculously customisable sounds, are so good that I was more than happy to pay for the full set despite the below. Negative: The app is very buggy. When I open a sound, pressing "play" does nothing. I have to fiddle with the sliders before it boots up. Downloading sounds seems to confuse the poor thing and it usually crashes.

  67. T Kalen-avatar

    T Kalen

I love myNoise and use it on my PC and Android phone. I decided today to send support. I installed the new Android version and downloaded my favorite sound files plus some new ones. The app doesn't indicate when it's finished loading a file. I sit staring in silence at the pause icon not knowing if I should be hearing something or not. Hitting "pause" changes the icon to "play" and freezes it there. I have to select a file twice to get it to play. Trying to be patient but not very happy.

  68. Alan Miller-avatar

    Alan Miller

Using version 2.2.1 the app is pretty and has been stable for me, and the content is great. That's the good. The bad is that the app is very feature weak. There are two lists of sounds - the ones downloaded and the ones not downloaded. There's a way to save settings for a sound, but no list of those saved custom sounds. There's a way to favorite a sound, but no list of favorite sounds. There are apparently-random icons on the list of downloaded sounds, but they don't change or have meaning.

  69. Paul Whitehead-avatar

Tons of potential, but the interface is insanely confusing and kinda buggy. The interface needs to be rethought out, its all over the place. Random buttons in strange places bring up dual selects that scroll in different directions. The pause button being in the middle of the lower half of the screen, but its tiny works really sporadically... the app draw controls dont pause, so to stop the sound, you close the app. Once you get used to the sound composition EQ its decent.

  70. Pete Rickenbacker-avatar

    Pete Rickenbacker

I would give a higher rating but some of the downloads for my favourites on the web version just don't start. I select them but no download starts like the others. It's like they're placeholders with no code behind them. :/ I've tried on two different phones and the same ones don't work (Code Breaker is the main one i finds useful on the web version)

  71. José Luis García-avatar

These guys are geniuses producing soundscapes, but the app is beyond terrible: download, play and pause buttons don't respond, sounds freezes, and only plays if I play something in Spotify, pause it and go back to the app, the payed version is really expensive considering how bad it works! Please please please fix it! This has enormous potential to be an incredible app. I see the quality of your audio work and the quality of the app just doesn't harmonize with it. Get it sorted guys.

  72. Anthony O'Neal-avatar

    Anthony O'Neal

Problem the best noise app on the store purely in terms of sounds, I really love the wide variety of noises, colors, and customization options. Very calming. However it's also a ridiculous battery hog even with the cpu option set to "normal". You can feel the phone get noticeably warmer and your battery will be gone in no time. Just make sure you only use it when you're plugged in. Also force quit it when you're done because it has a tendency to kill your battery even when not playing.

  73. J-avatar

I installed the app hoping it could live up to the phenomenal website (which is a lifesaver!). But unfortunately the app has alot of issues, which is a shame as it would have been very handy to use for when you're outdoors e.g for travelling, at work or school etc.The app continually freezes and doesn't respond when i try moving the sliders. The download feature never works. And there is no way to load any custom presets that you save, so what is the point in having a "save preset" feature?

High quality sound generators. Extremely poor software with more bugs and glitches that any other app I've ever used (S10+). Also, it crashes in every menu quite frequently and uses more battery than YouYube according to my phone stats. I've been waiting 12+ months to see if it becomes a normal functional app before reviewing. I've supported you through your website several times and used it for years but this app it's just not up to par. You're selling a 12€ bundle for a non functioning app.

  75. Aliana-avatar

Fantastic app. I had a massive problem with dogs barking constantly next to my bedroom window. Disrupting my sleep. With the noise blocking rain sounds on this app the barking dog problem is a thing of the past. Big thank you to the creator. What a great gift you have given to the world. I purchased the other sounds, not because I needed them, but because I want to support great work like this. I also really appreciate the fact that there are no ads. It speaks volumes. Thank you!

My husband and I use this app every night to play nature sounds (mainly rain/storms) as white noise while we sleep. We honestly sleep deeper and are less likely to wake up throughout the night. The bundle for all sounds is so worth it. A truly modest price for something that adds so much to our daily lives. Thank you for making this app!!

Amazing program, realy love it and use avary day during word or before sleep. I also bought "all you can hear" bundle and there is some problems with dowloading its presets. They can be downloaded by 3 or maximum 4 at one time. After that progress bar stops and i can not donload another presets before restarting the client on my phone. Please fix this bug. And also i think that an option button "download all presets" will be very usefull. Best wishes from Russia, keep going on)

Loved the website, I agree with some reviews that the app needs a little polish. £10 seems a little steep for all the sounds but I understand a lot of work had gone into this. Maybe breaking down the large bundle into smaller groups that loosely share a theme would encourage more people to spend a little. Also I hope stacking of sounds is added in future, Japanese Garden with 88 Keys playing over it is relaxing as hell. Reading to that combination is just 👌 6* if those are seen to lol

Wide variety of great quality sounds. On the webpage, I like to open multiple tabs and layer some of the different sounds. I'd like to see a feature that could handle that on the app. Also on the website there is a speech blocker setting that doesn't appear in the app. Want it. It places an icon on my notification bar that I can not get rid of unless I were to completely restart my phone. Probably just a minor nuisance to most people, but it drives my crazy not to be able to clear out my bar.

Astounding. I've long been a fan of the website, but being able to download and customize my favorite soundscapes makes noisy workspaces and public transit much easier to manage. I'm actually glad to see the developer move from a donation model to an app like this, because they have massively expanded the scope of the generators.

This app is exactly what I've been searching for all along. I actually found out about MyNoise through their website which I use when on the computer. This app lets me have the same experience on my phone with which I use my headphones or Bluetooth speaker. When you choose a soundscape, the sliders let you adjust the volume of each individual element rather than just one global control. You can fine tune it to perfection or even "animate" the sliders with several speed/interval presets.

Perfect. I bought the pack with all of the sounds. The only thing I would add are play controls at the bottom. Other then that, this is really great. So many options and features. The sounds are calming and relaxing perfect for those of us with anxiety and the tinnitus generator is great too. I could play around with this all day too its just in general very entertaining.

I really like the app version !! Recently I've been getting panicked for no reason and been listening to mynoise on the website version! The app is more suited to me and it's been working fine so far, very easy to use! The only thing that stops me from giving a higher rating is that all the generators I liked/calmed me the quickest are paylocked, which annoys me, but I understand the reason! Other than that it's fine!

Was skeptical this would help, but it's wonderful. Many options to customize the sounds. Highly recommend.

Very buggy unfortunately. The website works well. This app wont play sounds at times and odd tricks like turning a feature off and back on makes a sound play..

Can't adjust volume on Android. Very bare bones. Don't waste your time.

The best white noise you can find. Sadly the app is broken. I've used it on a Moto e4 plus and a galaxy s10 and it crashes constantly and refuses to download new sounds. When it isn't shutting down in the background it will continually trigger crash messages until you restart the phone. If it was fixed I'd use in a heartbeat, though, myNoise is amazing. However, the other thing is the volume issue. All the sounds start pretty quiet and you can't adjusts the volume without individually;y dragging the sliders.

I'm not interested in the entire library of sounds and $11.99 for a product I won't use most of simply isn't worth it. Hopefully further updates will bring back the ability to purchase sounds separately as was the case before. Edit: And as a result of this update I've lost a sound I paid money for. Honestly scummy to have us redownload sounds only for me to find my favorite paid one doesn't even exist and I can't get it back.

This App always keeps getting better and better. I have a lifetime membership, so every time they add more new sound samples, I gobble them up! You basically become the DJ of your own sound scape, create audible vibes in your home, have it play endlessly while you sleep, blend multiple sound libraries with one another, the options are literally limitless. Genius app!

Great generator, love the sounds - excellent sound quality. I'm giving 4 stars instead of 5 because when I start to play a sound, it starts off silent, and I have to go back to the home screen, drag down the notifications, and tap on the myNoise notification in order to start the sound. It's clear so much time and effort went into making this app. There are so many options, presets, and functionalities (timers, etc). I really enjoyed using the website, and this allows me to take these calming sounds with me. PS: I'm really happy to have the furry friend option.

best sound machine on the app store in terms of customisation and offerings but extrmemely buggy on my lg v30. the sound frantically stutters when i exit the app, the default sliders are too quiet, the audio recording slightly jitters itself if you listen closely. more features that could be considered: a 'playing now' bar at the bottom of the screen, the option to play more than 1 sound at the same time. i use the site to having avoid dealing with these issues.

Great app idea, wonderfully useful if it is fixed. Currently all generator tracks have imperfections, and "skips" or "scratches" that appear every 10-20 seconds. It completely ruins the experience and makes the app unusable in my opinion. If fixed this app would undoubtedly get a 5/5 rating.

Been using this app for years, first on Apple now on Android. Overall the Android version is slightly buggier and is missing a few key features I miss from the Apple version (multi-sound & 2-finger slide, e.g.), but it's still great. Well worth the Everything IAP I have now purchased twice. Thanks guys!

if it wasn't for the bugs this app would be a 5. while the mixers are good, i even bought a couple of the paid mixes, they will just decide at random to stop working. in that case it clears the mixing options and makes you go back to the main list to refresh the thing before it will make sounds again. i use this for my PTSD so that i know i went to sleep on purpose if i wake up, so having had this crash multiple nights in a row after having used it for so long and adjusting to the sounds... sucks

absolutely love this app. it provides an easy and useful way to generate relaxing sets of sound. it's not infested with ads or intrusive notifications, and it works perfectly. I don't think there's a better app to do this kind of stuff

Works great for it's intended purpose of helping me study and sleep. But when I'm not using it and it's not open I continuously get "myNoise has crashed" errors, and whatever it's attempting to do in the background is killing my battery life. Finally had to uninstall myNoise which stinks because it really is the best white noice app out there.

love this app! it doesn't just have clips of sounds, it has generators for them that let you change the frequencies, tempo, introduce variations, etc. smoothly and automatically. no ads, the free included sounds are awesome, and many more are available for purchase

TLDR: App fails at basic function - playing continuous sound. Do not sleep to it if you want to stay asleep. At first I liked the app and even paid for some sounds. However after being woken up in the middle of the night for the N'th time because myNoise is pausing intermittently as if it's buffering audio - and getting no support response from myNoise, have decided to uninstall. Not worth the sleep deprivation. Back to 10hr long audio files for me.
