Metanoa is a unique application which provides on-demand evidence based therapy for children with Neurodevelopmental disorders. It can be used itself for early identification of
Autism Spectrum Disorder(ASD), Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD), Learning disability, Language and communication disorders, Motor disorders, etc. or as a part of clinical intervention with healthcare practitioners. Metanoa is dedicated to minimizing the core symptoms and dependency of children with Neurodevelopmental disorders. The platform comes with a tailor made and holistic therapy plan for the children with associated skill building resources. The application is designed for both home use and clinical use.
How does it work?
For Parents:
1. Self assessments and Screening tests- Metanoa allows remote assessments and is the quickest way to determine whether your child is experiencing symptoms of NDD.
2. Home Program - Based on the assessments, the app will dynamically generate a set of goals and clinically proven strategies suggested by the professionals to improve the condition. The caregivers can log in the daily activities and goals that are being done by their child.
3. ADL Program - Daily chores, routines and activities can be organized and the child can perform the activity easily by following the visual representation of the activity sequence.
4. Track and record performance - Metanoa provides digital records which helps to monitor and track the progress of your child day by day.
5. Interdisciplinary approach - It offers access to online consultation with multiple health professionals and acquire best treatment options. You can discuss your child's health concerns with experts securely via chat, audio or video call and get feedback instantly.
6. Continuity of care - Personalized treatment plan and long term care offered by Metanoa will enable the children to develop their functional abilities.
7. Resources - The app offers a wealth of information related to Mental health and Neurodevelopmental disorders.
For clinics:
The app can be a part of a clinic which is already associated with Metanoa. In that case you can login to the app using the id(phone number or email) provided at the clinic at the time of registration and use the app. While the app is associated with a clinic, the specialists can use the tele-rehabilitation feature for remote therapies, suggest new therapies and goals using the app itself. This enables the service users to connect with the professionals directly and thus enhances the chances of providing better diagnosis and care. Every therapy and goal assigned by the doctor or therapists directly reach the parents and parents can update the therapy and goal results. The health professionals can access these reports from their clinic and suggest new therapies and goals accordingly.
IMPORTANT NOTE:
The app should be administered by a parent, caretaker or a guardian if the neurodevelopmental disorder is affected to a child. It is always advisable to be accompanied by a parent, caretaker or a guardian while accessing tele-rehabilitation.
