Control your home's lights, shades, temperature, keypads, and more with your Android handset and tablet.

This app requires a Lutron total home control system (RadioRA® 2 or HomeWorks® QS) programmed using the appropriate version of design and programming software along with the Lutron Connect Bridge.*

Control from anywhere
Control lights, shades, temperature, keypads, and more in the comfort of your home or from anywhere in the world – the office, the airport, the beach – set your home to a comfortable temperature when returning from a trip, ensure lights aren't left on and shades aren't left open while you're away.

Personalize your keypad buttons
Add, edit, and remove button settings on your own. Make temporary adjustments for special occasions, or permanent changes to match your preferences.

Right on schedule
Schedule scenes to happen automatically at set times of day, or based on sunrise and sunset. Turn on your porch light at dusk, turn it off at dawn, or open your shades in the morning to wake up with the sun.

Receive a notification if you’ve left the lights on after leaving home, then turn them off right from your Widget (Phone only).

Low Battery
Receive low battery indications for battery-powered shades, Pico wireless controls, and Radio Powr Savr sensors to know when it's time to replace the batteries.

Set your favorite scenes from your home screen using a Widget. No need to launch the app (Phone only).

World Class Support
Lutron remains committed to providing you with world class quality and service.

* Design and programming software is available only to qualified installers and is required for initial setup of this application. This application is only compatible with RadioRA 2 (10.0+) and HomeWorks QS (10.0+) and requires the Lutron Connect Bridge. Contact your Lutron dealer for more information.

When using Arriving/Leaving options (geofencing), your device's battery optimization settings may prevent the app from connecting to your system when the screen is off. The app will help you resolve this automatically, or you can go to Android Settings > Battery > Battery optimization, then under "All apps" set Lutron to "Don't optimize".

requires following permissions on your android device.

approximate location (network-based)
Allows the app to get your approximate location. This location is derived by location services using network location sources such as cell towers and Wi-Fi. These location services must be turned on and available to your device for the app to use them. Apps may use this to determine approximately where you are.

precise location (GPS and network-based)
Allows the app to get your precise location using the Global Positioning System (GPS) or network location sources such as cell towers and Wi-Fi. These location services must be turned on and available to your device for the app to use them. Apps may use this to determine where you are, and may consume additional battery power.

view network connections
Allows the app to view information about network connections such as which networks exist and are connected.

view Wi-Fi connections
Allows the app to view information about Wi-Fi networking, such as whether Wi-Fi is enabled and name of connected Wi-Fi devices.

allow Wi-Fi Multicast reception
Allows the app to receive packets sent to all devices on a Wi-Fi network using multicast addresses, not just your phone. It uses more power than the non-multicast mode.

connect and disconnect from Wi-Fi
Allows the app to connect to and disconnect from Wi-Fi access points and to make changes to device configuration for Wi-Fi networks.

Allows access to the list of accounts in the Accounts Service.

retrieve running apps
Allows the app to retrieve information about currently and recently running tasks. This may allow the app to discover information about which applications are used on the device.

full network access
Allows the app to create network sockets and use custom network protocols. The browser and other applications provide means to send data to the internet, so this permission is not required to send data to the internet.

run at startup
Allows the app to have itself started as soon as the system has finished booting. This can make it take longer to start the phone and allow the app to slow down the overall phone by always running.

prevent phone from sleeping
Allows the app to prevent the phone from going to sleep.

modify or delete the contents of your SD card
Allows the app to write to the SD card.

RadioRA2 is less good than Caseta. The more expensive system doesn't let me issue Alexa commands by room, e.g., "turn off the kitchen lights" - but the cheaper one does. You also can't make scenes without having keypads. That's extremely silly. Basically this system is abandonware. The only reason I didn't stick with Caseta is that I was concerned about hitting the fifty device limit in a larger home. Otherwise everything about it is superior.

Around a week or two ago, the app doesn't display device state, like lights that are on. Also, the documentation offers many opportunities for improvement. Thanks! Update: I can wait a week, and will email separately regarding documentation suggestions.

Used to work, lately (Dec 2019), it does not realise my lights are on/off unless I go through each switch individually. I used to get a list of all lights that were on and was able to turn them off from there. UPDATE I uninstalled and reinstalled and it seems to be working again. If it works as it used to, it's a 5* rating. Fingers crossed.

Horrible. I know your comoany needs to make money but having to go through a rep for everything is horrible. I should be able to connect to my house remotely but i need a bridge. I got one then it didnt work. I cant update the system or add the bridge myself and i have to call a rep which wants to charge me another 550 for it. Thats on top of the 250 i paid already! I will never recommend your system bc of this. No customer support at all!

This app makes it easy to control our lights. We have it installed on our phones, however I can't get it to connect to our system on my Samsung s2 tablet which is running version 7.0 . All is working well. Thanks to tech support. Great service

One-star review due to terrible customer service. I was issued a case number for a problem I had and no matter how many times I emailed Lutron they never responded. I've also contacted the email address Lutron keeps posting in their responses to negative reviews and nobody ever replies to those emails. Bottom line is that customer service is non-existent for homeowners. Shady.

Reference case # 8095074. The Connect bridge will not connect with this app. It goes through the motions with registration and fetching but once it goes to connect it fails and ask to try again /help.

Works well. Would like the option to manually delete bridges from my account from within the app without having to be connected to the bridge.

Recently lost the ability to see all the devices that were on, now have to go to each device to check status. Very annoying. This started happening with a recent update .

Need to be able to group shades to allow Google assistant to close the group with one command (like, "close dining room shades"). When providing Google Assistant command I to often get image search results. Devices don't show up with controllable access in the Google Home app. All the documents I have found for Google Assistant setup are off an old UI the at isn't relevant now so they are not helpful.

The geo fencing needs time parameters . I don't need lights coming on at 2pm I just use a Pico remote with a visor clip.

I'm surprised to see that this is missing some important features, such as the ability to access a phantom device and to invoke the functionality of a double-click, hold, etc. Scenes are also only accessible if tied to a button, even though there would seem to be no reason to limit this. Prior Lutron control apps were able to do these things because they would take the XML file from the server. However, this app and associated bridge only want to talk to the devices themselves - and then only limited to single clicks.

The app was working very well until a couple of days ago. Now it will not even start. I have the system installed at home and the office and cannot access either one. It is installed in a Galaxy S8. Very frustrating

Loss of HVAC running information needs to be fixed ASAP. New design is good overall but losing the ability to tell which HVAC zones are calling for heating or cooling is hopefully a bug that's going to be fixed soon. 1/31/2018 - Review changed, the HVAC issue has been resolved. Thanks, Lutron.

Great app. But again , you are missing the pincode or fingerprint. For security reasons , I don't want anyone who see my phone access my private home ! PLEASE !!!!!!

It's missing the notification drawer /lock screen notifications that Caseta has. Seeing how this system costs 30% more, it's a little strange that the app is lacking features of the lesser systems. 🤔🤔

Please make an option to not show title on widget. With the extra height of the title, either the bottom of the widget is cut off or you need to make an extra row of height which wastes space. Thanks.

The app is okay. Lutron is limited on which home applications will work and they're not vey open to adding. They have Sonos, BUT not HEOS and no plans to add. They have AC control but not for CARRIER, the biggest, and no plans to add. Disappointing.

First the app functions well. Consistent reliable remote access. Button editing is great. Alexa works but dimming would be nice. geofencing is good but sometimes off I can't tell if it is my phone or the app sometimes thinks I'm not at home when I am. The caseta app is clearly where the focus is. I would like to see widgets in different sizes 1x2 1x4. The ability to change colors and background transparency of said widgets. IFTTT integration would be nice as well.

The implementation of Alexa support now gives you a 5 star reason to get Lutron Connect.

This is a great app and could be greater. I would like to see it be little more customizable and give the programmer the ability to hide or change things the end user doesn't need to see or have the ability to change.

*Update* : things are looking much better in terms of connection time! I'm seeing connection within 2 - 3 seconds from a cold start. If I could request a feature it would be to incorporate the categories (lights/fans/etc) across all areas such as in the Lutron Home Control+ app. That way I can see the status of all lights on the same screen. Thank you!
