I love this app. My daughter is 3 years old, immunocompromised, and is about to have her second open-heart surgery next week. This app has allowed us to track her fevers during recent illnesses and to also keep track of symptoms at the time of the temperature. When we meet or speak to the pediatrician or specialists, I have a log of all of her temperatures and symptoms. It's extremely helpful. Love this product and the app! Highly recommend Kinsa!

I'm very unhappy that this product required me to download and login to the app when the instructions indicated the device could be used "by itself or paired to the Kinsa app". When I initially turned it on all I could get was "app" which I thought meant the battery was low. But with a new battery I got the same thing "app". So I had no choice other than returning to Target or downloading the app and I needed to take my temp today. Our prior thermometer died.

Great you can track you temperature as you take it. Only thing that i will say is you must have Bluetooth on before the thermometer will allow you to get the 3 dash to take temperature! But if Bluetooth is on and thermometer is not turning on, you must hold close to Bluetooth device to recognize it. But overall, I got it working properly and I love it! Even if you or family is sick from the flu or other sickness, that has a temperature that happens with the sickness! GREAT DEVICE!

Works, but technical issues. The self-check workflow needed for an easier school drop off for my child is difficult. Once you do this the first time, you have to complete it no sooner than 24 hours later. There are user friendly issues that need to be worked out and customer service if challenging to reach.

Makes it very easy to keep track of temps with sick kids. It automatically transfers the info, so I get all the Temps even if they take it on their own. I like having a history for the doctors office as well.

Think having an app for a thermometer is stupid. Will be removing it from my phone. Didn't see the tiny instructions at the bottom of how to bypass installing the app so that I could use the thermometer without it until after I had installed the app.

We like the unit, and app. We just keep having issues with it telling us it can not save just taken temp due to being not connected, but all wifi & data are connected. We try manual entry, same issue. We have gone thru all troubleshooting, we understand the Android set up stuff. So ... many of our temps are not recorded.

The app works beautifully. I am not fond of the child-centric graphics because I'm not a child; I'd like an option to switch to something geared to adults. But that doesn't affect my rating of this app, because my issue is only about cosmetics.

As expected this works well. I did have a problem starting the thermometer, and I contacted Kinsa. It turned out that I needed to push the button against a hard substance, but once that problem was resolved I have had no other problems.

This thermometer is awesome, tracks it right on your phone and the time the temperature was taken. Also you can include the medicine and the time it was given.
