If you don't have an interactive machine, the app can use the front-facing camera of your tablet or smartphone or many wearable sensors to detect your actual effort and track your progress. Makes exercising fun. Love this app, especially the competitive mode as it really does encourage you to push yourself. Just wish it would work on my chromebook but the app insists on gps which it doesn't have. But I can use the chromebook as a remote display which works very well.

Resistance doesn't work correctly, and despite numerous emails to Kinomap Support it would seem they are either unable, incapable or unwilling to investigate properly & resolve. I've successfully used my smart trainer on 4 other apps & have not experienced resistance issues. I'm now convinced that the algorithm Kinomap uses to determine degree of difficulty is flawed. IT SHOULD NOT TAKE INTO ACCOUNT ANY OF THE RIDER'S DETAILS (SPEED ETC). IT SHOULD ONLY BE BASED ON DISTANCE, GRADIENTS ETC

Excellent exercise, cycling tourism video, and sharing of training rides. We can also share our real rides by recording and uploading to Kinomap. If approved of sufficient quality, not much shaking and reasonably bright and clear, dor at least 5 minutes it will be accepted. Once accepted you will be rewarded with free subscription. There is also revenue sharing. The exercises alao include rowing but I have not tested it. Exercise regimes are also available.

I like this app as there's a lot of video that I can choose for my daily workout with my stationery bike. Some maybe quite shaky or not really accurate but not affecting me and can share this app with other 3rd party apps such Samsung health and strava which adding more tools and variety for tracking purposes.

Bought the model 2 yrs ago and unfortunately it does not support connecting to fitness apps like Kinomaps so am stuck with following the 10-odd training options on the bike. Great bike let down by basic connextivity to apps that make the entire indoor noking experience great. Option now seems to be shell out £600 to buy the latest model that has connectivity built-in!!!!! Frustrating!!!

So enjoying app and still figuring it out, but question. 1. Can you use and see video track with just cadence add on sensor or any other type of add on sensor? Without use of camera. Bike has no Bluetooth ANtmT ability built in. Thank you.
