Kata® is your personal inhalation coach.
It doesn't matter whether you are new to the world of lung diseases or already a real professional - thanks to Kata, even experienced patients with asthma or COPD can identify handling errors when inhaling and improve their therapy. Kata knows your inhalers and guides you step by step through the inhalation. With her artificial intelligence, she can explain to you what you can do even better. Optimize your therapy - inhalation by inhalation, day by day!
Kata® knows your therapy plan, reminds you to inhale and saves medical values such as peak flow (PEF). Questionnaires for therapy control, such as ACT (Asthma Control Test) or CAT (COPD Assessment Test) can be recorded. The integrated diary (therapy tracker) gives you an overview of the course of your illness and therapy. If you want, you can also export your data from the app and share it with your doctor as a doctor's report.

Intended use:
The Kata Inhalation app is a software app that is intended to monitor, inform about and improve inhalation therapy treatment. It collects and provides data of the inhalation manoveurs to take decisions on the further proceeding of the treatment (therapy control and monitoring). Inhalation manoeuvres are guided through analysis and feedback, intended to reduce handling errors of patients and adjust therapy if required.
Important Notes
An inhalation should not be repeated unless it has been prescribed by a doctor, even if the app gives a poor rating. If the results seem doubtful or your health condition worsens, a doctor should be consulted immediately. The inhalation steps described in the app generally correspond to those in the inhaler’s package leaflet. If the steps for your inhaler differ from those shown in the app, the inhaler must only be used according to its official instructions for use.
