JumpHunter is application that uses sound recognition to count number of jumps while jumping rope. Just set your phone next to you and start your jump rope workout. You can check out your live stats while you jump rope. There is no need to have phone in your pocket to count jumps. MET (metabolic equivalent) of jumping rope is equivalent to excercises like rowing and jogging. MET, your weight and jumping speed is used to calculate calories burned. MET depends on your jumping speed, so the faster you jump more calories you will burn. For example MET value for jumping rope at speed 66 jumps/min is 9.8, and for 145 jumps/min is 12.1.
