    Issue first reported below now seems to be fixed. Moving from a 1 star rating to 4. I loved this app previously but over the past two weeks i cannot login. i get a message saying "We are sorry, our system is temporarily unavailable. Please try again or contact your nearest IHG cusotmer service..." I have sent screenshots. one agent said to uninstall and reinstall which i did but it did not help. I might be time to switch back to SPG. their app works.

    Couldn't sign in. It only allows me to enter a pin (number keyboard), not a password. Reset password link takes me to reset my pin on the website, but my email address isn't recognized. When I log in via web browser, I can't find any place to set a pin, just a password with letters, numbers, and symbols. Uninstalling.

    Worst app on the planet, it's full of lies, the say follow these steps and earn rewards. Follow the steps and they have a million reasons y u don't qualify. If you want to compete in the hospitality industry with Airbnb, traditional hotel reservation agencies and the like, you don't have to false advertise to get potential customers attention, and then blame them for for any internal hiccups and refuse them virtual points that can be applied at a click of a button. #FU

    Since the last couple of updates nothing works. Error messages in every area except booking. It's been like this for weeks now. Not sure how much longer I'll continue to use since other hotel chains have a more reliable app. When can users expect a fix for this annoying, prolonged issue?

    IHG is glitch-ridden overall, within this app and through the website, I've found out, finally, the costly hard way. Besides, this app doesn't work as well or offer the features of Hilton's, Marriot's or even Choice's apps. Now, next I'll uninstall AND I'll stop booking IHG.

    Faulty designed App generated duplicated reservation. Did use the app (the latest version) to redeem my IHG rewards points to book IHG hotel on the road. At the last step, the first try the app said "system error, please try again", clicked again it went through and got reservation #. But when I arrived the hotel, I found the app made two reservations for me, and deducted my points twice. I had to call customer service and finally got the duplicated booking cancelled, The rep promised the double deducted points would refund immediately, but my double deducted points never got back to my account after half month for now. The App itself should prevent double bookings from happening at the first place

    Errors everywhere. Since the last update it doesn't load much of anything (i.e past stays, upcoming stays, account activity). You are greeted with an error message that at start up. Only thing that works is hotel search.

    It's hard to get hold of a representative on the phone. Definitely not enough Communication between hotel and your reservation people. The points shown on the app are not necessarily honored at the hotel.

    Friendly and happy staff i have had app for 7 years no problem only 3 times stopped working out of 7 years app easy to use they no all my stuff i like and if theirs something wrong they help fix it straight away and my points go on all times best hotels i got booking wrong asked for 1 bed was meant to be 2 beds i emailed them And they replayed and they sorted it my problem free of charge love ihg/ holiday inn stays

    Horrible app...no value to the app when it won't allow you to book the room. 2nd stay I have tried to book via app and when select option to book it nothing happens. Last time had to call hotel directly to book it.

    IHG in general are poor. Their customer service is hands down the worst I have experienced for some time. The UK catalogue has not been functional for over a month now rendering points useless. Do yourself a favour and try elsewhere.

    This updated version, as well as the previous version, crashes on both my iPhone and Samsung Galaxy phones when I try to book a room or look at an existing reservation. If it doesn't crash then I get an error saying "we are sorry, our system is temporarily unavailable." This is exactly why I rarely stay at Holiday Inn brand hotels anymore.

    I can open the app pick a hotel and dates in the next month or so and when I select dates and apply it reverts back to today's date as check in and tomorrow as check out. I've logged out and in and removed and reinstalled the app. This app is useless because it will only let me use today's date only. Revision 5. After 5 updates, it WILL NOT let me select dates in the future. I asked front desk people on checking in to a multiple ihg properties that this problem is widespread. THIS APP SUCKS!!!

    Not a very reliable app. Bookings and points disappear from the account. Take a screenshot of each booking you make because the customer service at IHG do not have a record. Each time a representative from a different country answers on the same issue. Their left hand doesn't know what the right hand is doing.

    Catalogue is not loading. Redemption of points not possible. Even not online, basket page redirects to login page. Cheeting! Less Hotel choise, mostly in inconvenient areas. Membership with no benefit. Just used it for long term business stay, never again these shabby hotels.

    I checked in through the app and accidentally scheduled a day earlier then planned.so i realized with in a couple hours i made a mistake so i called them to cancel they told me not to worry about it they will make it right. Well they charged my card and will not refund it over all over simple mistake. They dont seem to care about customer satisfaction.

    Application is usefull for the traveller but it needs to be better. It crashes a lot and also needs a better interface. One of the things needed is the fact that the stay days are not shown in the calendar of the phone. Also i dont know why they dont have the virtual room key as other hotel apps have. As i say app is good but not great.

    Least reliable/most frequently problematic of the hotel apps I use (IHG, Hyatt, Hilton, Marriott). I prefer IHG hotels but the jankiness of this app has prompted me to book elsewhere on multiple occasions.

    This App had not worked on my phone for almost 2 months from Aug 2019. Just got an error at log on saying back end systems were down. Then on a recent trip abroad it suddenly let me log on again, even though no updates had been issued. Go figure? Therefore re-rated as a perfectly usable app, when it works!

    App works fine, it's the supposed benefits of having a membership that are completely useless... Late check out? Gimme a break. Upgrade to a slightly less crummy room. A single bottle of water and a packet of chips? I'm going someplace else. Aviod holiday Inn at all costs.

    Good when it works. I haven't been able to associate bookings with my account for a couple of weeks, I just get an error message and it is always very hit or miss wether the app will let do this.

    Do not stay at any IHG hotel!!! Because i have a CLC card through my employer to pay for my hotel stay, IHG does not honor points to the person staying at the hotel. Other employees at my work find hotels that will give points to the person staying at the hotel. Because I have the option to choose where I stay, I will be searching for a non IHG hotel so I am able to collect the points and rewards. IHG should change the terms and policy on this as they will lose people like myself.

    The app is very navigatable, i really like making reservations here. It describes the rooms, hotel ammenities, types of rates, etc. Then after booking youre sent a confirmation email.

    Worthless using it if youre an ihg member. Wasted half an hour trying to simply book a room at a location I already knew I wanted. It'll work as long as I dont want to sign in.
