    As others have said, the app is currently broken. You can only sign in after you reset your password, and even if you do, the app fails to load upcoming trips. Other things are customer unfriendly. For example, if I want to cancel a trip, you now have to chat with a bot (versus just being able to do a simple "click-and-cancel" request). I understand that it may help Expedia's contact deflection measures, but it feels needlessly complicated.

    It. Never. Saves. My. Trips. This used to be an excellent app. This is longer true. I have to uninstall & re-install the app every time I want to use it. I cannot find trips with my itinerary number any more. I have to change my password nearly every time I want to use the app. Sometimes I see reqards points, sometimes they are not there. The chat feature is useless--it needs to employ m actual humans, located in the country where we live, that actually speak the language we do. Please. Fix it!

    Frustrating, useless app. To log in, It asks me to prove I'm not a robot and presents page after page of captchas, over and over. The verification pics are so small and low res on a cellphone screen that you can hardly distinguish the objects they want you to identify. After 10 minutes of going through captchas I finally logged in and it promptly logged me out and wanted me to start the captcha nonsense all over again. I gave up and used my computer to go to the Expedia Internet website.

    there is one thing id like to point out.. i assumed that by using the app and logging into each time, that i was going to receive points for my bookings.this is true.however it is not automatic..you have to sign up for a additional program to make this happen..iv booked a ton of rooms over the last few years using 2 diffrent accounts assuming they where being added..however they were not. Make sure you are set up on the rewards program. Dont miss out like i have. Cheers! Stay safe!

    Every single time you load up the app or click out of it then click back in it sets your travel date for a week from today. If I'm pulling up the app to search for a hotel in a city I am in, I want it for tonight, not next week. This has resulted in me having to argue about who owes me a refund, some hotels say go after Expedia, Expedia says go after the hotel. FIX THIS!! Make the default date TODAY not next week.

    I rated this app earlier 5 star because it used to work really smooth. Now whenever I try to log in, it makes me do the image authentication plus makes me log in again. I liked it when it was simple and kept me logged on. I want to give it 5 star, so please help me with this so I can update this rating.

    While I am hacked. The use of switching has compromised numerous accounts of mine. I think you provide a great service, but the multiple sign ins while I just made my new password shows a bad system. Why have a password then. I see all these apps. Asking for phone access, contact access. Why cut your nose off just to bite your face. I wanna go to Europe to visit. Yet there are so many thieves signing in as me, I can't. Android, the development of switching, the hidden cheats...sad

    So much unnecessary effort up front to sign in. The most difficult of any app I use. Sometimes, like now when it asks me to rate a hotel, I just don't make the effort. Not worth it. Otherwise, after I get logged in, easy to use, easy to navigate, easy to book. It's just that initial sign-in.

    The app does not update my trips or credits like it should. Expedia has been the hardest travel agency to work with. I do not advise going through them for flights. Instead of refunding my money to my credit card or having the airline themselves make my tickets, which the airline would have created a ticket voucher for the remainder credit balance which is transferable to any person, they booked it through their website and now will only offer a credit for that specific ticket holder. $650 waste

    Worst experience possible!!! Not once but twice in less than 48 hours I attempted to make two separate reservations for two separate properties and so when I went into the app I chose my dates that I needed the nights for and I double checked the stay dates to make sure it was for the right dates and when I went in to confirm that it did it for the right ones and check out it wasn't until after I went to check on my confirmed check out that I noticed it had switched my dates for a week out

    I needed a room tonight 10/3, somehow the reservation was booked for 11/2, Im trying to change it for tonight, but they wanted me to cancell booking first, and WILL NOT BE refunded, and rebook, I have used Expedia countless time and this is the first time I had this problem, if not resolved, this would be the last time Im using Expedia.

    This app has gotten worse over the past year cant see my upcoming trips . cant do things on here that was able to before like changing dates and inaccurate rooms at hotels. Been turned away becuse hotel had no rooms available. I want to take the one star i gave this app away and give it nothing as to now i cant get any trip information at all.     This app is absolutely horrible they told me to keep trying to buy a ticket and every time I tried they would taking my money so now I'm in the whole over $800 and I still have not gotten it back after 48 hours. I have no reservation I don't have a plane ticket booked with them but I still don't have my money back.

    Good, easy to use. Only downside is I wish there was a filter to help me select a hotel with electric car charging. Instead of cross referencing from the plugshare app to find hotels with charging or beer charging. Would be helpful to just have it added in.

    You cannot actually talk to someone over the phone. Everything is virtual and takes an insane amount of time. I was on trying to book a very simple flight and after 40mins it still wasnt booked. Ridiculous!

    I had an issue with a booking that got checked as the wrong date and the room was marked as nonrefundable. I called the hotel and they were unable to switch dates to the one I needed due to being booked out. I contacted the help chat in the app and they were able to call the hotel and issue a FULL REFUND. Seth helped me through it and if you ever read this review thank you again for all your hard work! I absolutely recommend Expedia to anyone who travels a lot or a little!

    Works well for booking, but constantly logs me out every couple days. Seeing itineraries is also difficult as many times the My Trips area of the app will not load. Once I've used up my rewards I will try another app.

    It seems thing finally are working well and they update and screw it all up again. The recent update now kicks me off so I have to sign back in all the time, and now it won't load my upcoming trips or the chat feature. When I search an area on the map it zooms out and moves me to the area I just left. Now it is loading pictures that don't belong to the property being searched. I used to like this App, but it is going downhill, in fact it is now fairly useless. I contacted them but no reply.

    I have never experienced anything like I have the past two weeks at this motel. I booked 2 reservations 2 days each time and after paying confirming and booking. Then they were cancelled everytime after i sat on the phone with an agent for a minimum if 6 hours each time. There is definitely no hospitality, structure or respecter of persons here. I will not stop with this review either. Plenty more to come. I will be switching travel agents , hotels why not I only have 1/2 of my rewards points.

    Go to service, but now iffy app stability. As of latest update, use on my Android 11 Pixel 4 XL, the app CAN NOT UPDATE OR SHOW MY TRIPS. This replicable issue essentially makes viewing trips that have been made impossible. No problems with booking, just managing and viewing reservations. Hopefully will be fixed or addressed soon, as I partially blame Google for a potential lack of support on upgrading and converting apps for use on and on the Android 11 environments.

    Expedia has always been a wonderful app to use until recently. I now have to verify that "I am not a Robot" every few seconds before being granted access to do anything. It is annoying and highly inconvenient. Kindly fix.

    When it works, it's fine. The problem is it doesn't open my trip information 80% of the time. It doesn't matter what state I'm in, what wifi I'm hooked up to or if I'm using data. You can see your trip information but you can't actually click to see your tickets. Your only shot is to download the airlines app too and hope that works - which makes expedias app pretty useless during travel.

    The app itself is easy to use for finding and booking a hotel. However, their customer service is completely automated. If you have more than one email address for any reason and by chance can't recall which one you've used, the system just keeps asking you repeatedly for your email address. I even had my reservation number and the system still asked for my reservation number. I'm reaching out to the property itself. Will not use this app again. Going back to Orbitz, Priceline or elsewhere.

    Horrible, I will never use Expedia for my travel again. They called once, left me 1 voicemail, and then cancelled my reservation because I didn't answer. I then called the hotel directly and got it for a lower rate than Expedia did. There are hundreds of sites to choose from to book travel. Not once has this happened to me with any other site. If I could give 0 stars I would.

    It is so helpful to have my entire trip on one app! It was very easy to book the flights, hotels, and car hire for a last minute trip without spending loads of time poring over multiple tabs on a laptop. It has also been extremely time-saving to message the different hotels directly through the app rather than going through email. The app definitely reduces the stress of planning travel, especially last minute.

    Rating is only for the map search function. I have tried repeatedly to search a specific area for hotels and the app continues to pan out and include an area at least 5 times bigger than my search. I'm searching a large city, so this adds a large number of hotels to my search. Unacceptable. Will not be purchasing with Expedia.

    I logged into my account, and the app doesn't keep me logged into my account, so when I try to buy my airline tickets, it prompts me back to where I can't select my name as a traveler, which would include all of my known traveler information, to include my preferred method of payment. Fix it or I'm going to start using another program....

    My one stop travel shop so far. I compare other prices before I book and they are pretty much the same so I book in the app and get points which allow for cash back on future trips. Easy to cancel or change. Update: App is lagging. Ask me to sign in when I try to update trip but when booking everything is smooth. I don't know if the points are worth it.. when cancelling to add another person, says Delta will refund 7 to 10 days. Can't book another trip with them.

    I like the app... When it doesn't log me out. I will sign in and by the time I'm ready to make reservations I'm no longer signed in. And then I have to input ALL my information all over AGAIN. I book travel and flights for several people and having to input their information every time is not fun. No quick checkout because it don't keep your information. I was going to give 2 stars but changed it to 1 because this feature keeping you logged in is necessary

    I was using this app for nearly 2 years and I ve spent loads of money during the years. However last week I went in a family holiday in Monaco, along with my 1 year old daughter. Our studio with pool has been booked but when we reached there, SURPRISE nothing was booked. I needed to stay with my wife and daughter outside in the sun for literally 3 hours until they relocated us to a dirty disgusting hotel with absolutely no facilities. Not even sorry and no compensation at all. PLEASE AVOID...

    The booking facility doesn't work on my app so I book through the website. But the facility on the app which enables you to type a message to an operative and receive advice is worth getting the app. When flights are cancelled Expedia might contact you, but the app is no use, the info shown does not change. You are best dealing directly with the airline, if possible: refunds come quicker, but Expedia has usually got cheaper prices.

    Terrible between Expedia and American Airlines I don't know which is worse. I bought a ticket and then saw the same flight for $20 less. Expedia refused and American Airlines sent me back to Expedia. No wonder they are in trouble.

    Literally no one to get ahold of after they cancel your flight on a Friday afternoon. I was on hold for almost 2 hours before I hung up. Luckily, my partner could supply me with a ticket from another provider. The problem? I messed up the year when entering my card information. Maybe less important if I didn't NEED the flight (military orders). I don't enjoy flyingin the first place, and Expedia just made it worse. Never again.

    I was given a voucher for a hotel i had to cancel. When i used the voucher I realised I put in the wrong dates. I tried to change the dates and was told I needed to cancel that and start over. Here's the fun part, they WOULD NOT let me use the voucher because they said I already used it!!! Talking to someone is difficult because the people you talk to are VERY hard to understand. After doing the online chat option one said they would refund the voucher. That was over a month ago, still waiting!

    Nightmare! Not the app, the company. Use anything other than this. Get a confirmed quote with a different charge on your credit card. Customer service cuts off the conversation when it gets uncomfortable. Hotels can't help. Shady at best! Horrible.

    Just when trying to use my reward points noticing all hotel prices almost doubling and saying: " We hate it when this happens...The price of your trip has changed..."     I tried to make a reservation while traveling a week ago. I thought I agreed to a noncancellable reservation for that same night but somehow learned the app scheduled the reservation for a week in the future. Have spent a week trying to resolve this with Expedia and the hotel without success. Would rate zero stars if that was an option. Expedia is losing a long time customer. Very disappointed!

    Will not let me log on! For three weeks I've been trying. I can get on with my laptop so I know my password is good. I have updated the app. It is an infinite Loop it takes me to the log on screen, to captcha, and back to the log on. Completely unusable!

(Expedia told the hotel's agent im using fake credit card without asking me.) , i booked so many times using this credit card and this time im not sure why they did not receive my money.     Calendar is not a right format. NO Sunday is on calendar. All the buttons " No, Not sure and Yes" went down bottom of the screen and they can't be touched :(🤣🤣🤣 For car rental. The prices daily or weekly are missing or fall of the side of the sreen and can't be seen :(

But they sell you insurance on every purchase its presented to you as complete refund if you cancel your trip when in reality they just steal your money and tell you that the only way you get a refund is by an apocalypse or your own death, i have a case with this insurance AiG for 8 months now and still waiting for a refund.

    I was having trouble because I double booked a hotel and had two rooms for the same night. The online system told me my booking was non-refundable and there was nothing I could do to recover my money from this mistake. I called the 24/7 agent and she not only called the hotel and got me a refund for one room she also reinstated one reservation because the stupid system cancelled both bookings when I went online. I am very pleased/impressed with how a human being was able to make it happen.

    Very sad! Inflexible app that booked my so-called bargain flight without showing me details of my itinerary, including departure and arrival time first! The ad says flight 7 am - 2 pm American Airlines Billings Montana to Ft. Lauderdale. After payment submitted, discovered that my arrival to Ft. Lauderdale is after 10 pm, lost a whole day. Despite advising me I could change within 24 hours, the ap prevented me from changing. The customer service was automated, can't speak to a live person!

I booked several trips via there web site and after a miscommunication on scheduled flight arrival my car rental was given away and after talking to a rep via the phone I was promised a 250 dollar credit on my next trip, which I never received in my email or app account.
