Stupid popups won't leave me alone. Had to end after 20 minutes and my progress was lost. Can't believe I paid for this and the crappy music.

There is no login and app glitches CONSTANTLY. I pay for Zenmusic and it never works and crashes the app despite many emails to support and attempts to fix it. Also, I have be instructed to uninstall and reinstall app, update app, etc to try to correct issues, which deletes ALL progress. Honestly, this app is beyond disappointing and not worth the $5 to download. Just invest in a timer because that is the only function that actually works properly within the app.

App is ok, but would be nice to link with Pandora or Spotify for music most already have.

hangs fails and music no inoperable no response from developer very poor delivery no support main timer works but Zen music which cost $71 now doesn't operate very bad experience

The app is great when it comes to tracking and your way to a marathon and the live voice that i hear through my headphones is a great feature. but i would love it if i could connect to Spotify. and i didnt like the fact that i could end my run before the given time unless i would like to loose my data. you can also not look back at your run, which sucks. and there is no visuell ui, that lets you know what you havr completed

Got a refund. This app is a walk/ run for the final half marathon 4min run/1 min run for 13 miles. Utterly ridiculous. That should be clearly specified.

Workouts are great. Music feature is poor. Always starts a the beginning of a playlist so it's the same songs over and over.

My music wont play within the app. It shows on the screen like its playing, but it doesn't. I had to go out of the app to start my music.

I love that app. It made me do things that i thought are impossible. I would recommend it to anyone who would like to start running 😊

i just completed the 10k by zen. i am running 6 miles. was hoping this was the next step but i don't think it is.

This app used to work great on my old phone, but I've upgraded and now it just stops in the middle of a workout!! So aggravating!!

I finished the 10k trainer app by zen labs and I thought it was very effective and helpful at getting me to be able to run a full 6.2 miles without stopping. My next goal was to run a half marathon without stopping. I mistakenly assumed this app would work the same as the 10k trainer with the goal being to run 13.1 miles without stopping at the end of it. The reality is that this app is not designed to get you to running the whole thing at all. I regret this purchase and if your goal is to run the whole length of a half marathon, this is not the app for you.

Good app for overall fitness. Wish it had some longer runs mixed in the first few weeks to help keep the progress I made after finishing the 10k app. Overall, good app.

This is a 13 Week program, so I'm incorporating this trainer into my workout, similar to MCRD PI '84 😉

Run length time needs to progress to longer than 5 minutes.

I just used this app to complete my first half marathon! The mileage is off, so I use MapMyRun to keep my GPS tracks. It only supports training you to do 4 minutes running, one minute walking, repeat (not continuous running). But considering that 3 months ago, I didn't run at all, the run-walk method was perfect. I wish that slower paces were supported. If you can't do a half marathon in 140 minutes (or are slower than 10min miles in training) , you need to restart the app in the middle of your run. At the beginning of training, you do 3 minute run - 2 minute walk, then 4 minute run, two minute walk. Being new to running, I wished for two minute walks even during the half marathon itself. I just reused the old training timers during the race.

Get app to keep you motivated and on a routine for workouts! Wish I could sync reminders to my calendar or alarm.

It crashes, uses a lot of battery and just stops working when you are running. Really annoying!

EDIT!!! Android's latest update changes background app battery optimization. Go to settings > battery > battery optimization, then select this app (and for me, map my run and google fit) and turn off battery optimization, which warns you will consume more battery. -------- original review This keeps crashing silently!!! Great program and training pace but I wish it had more intermittent voice encouragement or prompts for posture not just the run/walk intervals

This app didn't work with Google play music app so I couldn't get any of my tunes, it doesn't have GPS tracking and has ads and self promotion after you've already paid $5 to download it? Not worth it. Lots free apps are better than this currently.

Bought this app as I was ecstatic after using the 10k app by zenlab and thought this app would follow on from this and help me get to 21k. It does not. It starts from the beginning again and does not even get you anywhere near running half an hour to an hour stretches like the 10k app. Very disappointing.

I bought this after completing the free ZebLabs C25K program. This schedule was an easy to follow reource to use in training for my first half marathon. I have since noticed that most other 13.1 training plans take you up to 12-13 miles before tapering off but the longest run in this plan was only 10 miles. I can't help but wonder how that difference may have impacted my results. I only gave 4 stars because the app stays open in the background which drains my battery. I would get random notifications that the app had stopped when I hadn't even opened it in days.

This app requires your location just to use the interval timer. It uses location information even when the app is turned off. Seems very invasive, especially since it's a paid app.

It is only ok. It doesn't track distance calories nor does it have a GPS, all I can get for free on other apps.

Since last update I constantly get pop up messages saying "app has unexpected stopped" even when I'm not using it. Must be running in background? Loved it prior to this.

Was an amazing app but since the update I get a ton of pop ups saying it has stopped and it is so annoying since I paid for this app and neve had an issue before. They need to fix it already!!!

The app doesn't track distance very well. I definitely ran farther (I have a set routine) in one session and it tracked me as running less than the prior. When training for a 1/2 marathon, it's nice to know how far you're actually running.

It's good to give you a daily goal to build up to the distance but I have ran all the walking elements in it as I felt it was unnecessary to walk after completing the c25k app


It eases you into running longer distances. At first you think run for 4 minutes, walk 3 minutes (or whatever) easy. And that keeps you running even though you kinda feel like you are going to die when they announce "half way". It's useful. You don't have to do anything on any calendar date. If you miss a day you can just carry on when you are ready but still have an idea of where you are and how many workouts you have until the race.

Recently I've noticed my phone's battery draining very fast. It turns out this app is activating in the background without me even opening it and keeping my phone's GPS on constantly. It's a good training app, but I will have to uninstall and leave two stars until it's fixed.

Disappointed that this does not follow on from the 10k app and get you running a half marathon. If you want to do it run/walk then I guess it's fine. Should have had a better description. Wasted my money.

I like the run walk intervals. So far no repetitive stress injuries like I've had with other programs. There are a few bugs that I wish we're fixed. When you long press a workout to complete, it sets all previous sessions to the same day. Also, eleven is missing and sixteen is pronounced as sixty. I'm on week 11 so fixes won't help me now.:-)

Not sure this is the best app after the 10k feel a bit short changed and does not follow on. after achieving 10k this would be better at progressing longer periods of running. Felt like a backward step. For me not money well spent. Would be good if new to running

Really like this so far..Have used Zen labs before for 5k and 10k...and with great sucess..Easy to use,motivating and no nonsense approach is what keeps me coming back.My only worry is that the half marathon app iam using at the moment wont get me over the line as training seems to stop at mile 10? Anyone else done half marathon with a good time using this app? Other than that I love this easy app

I like the pace of the training so far. I wish it was better at accurately syncing with Google Fit. It has a bug where the cross-training days keep restarting

I like that I can play music and when the voice prompts come on it paused and restarted automatically. Easy to use and ease into.

The gps doesn't work correctly. With that being said, the workout plan is excellent in building endurance while maintaining what little speed I have.

Week 6 completed. Each night I fight the urge to give it a miss. I fight the voice within myself that says 'you can't do this. I go out complete the nights program and return home feeling like I have achieved a new miracle. Long way to go and no guarantees but starting to believe I can do this. One complaint is mileage tracked in the app is not accurate. Today I ran 14 x 4 minute intervals with 1 minute walks inbetween. The app shows that I did 5.7 miles. I used a wrist tracker which showed that just for the 14 x 4 minute runs I covered 6.08 miles and a GPS tracker on my phone stated that (including warm up/cooldown) I covered a total of 7.7 miles.

Just like the other Zenlab apps - so easy to use, reliable and gives me confidence that I will be ready for my first 1/2 marathon

Amazing app. You have to follow the training plan though. I ran my first half marathon in 2 hours 12 minutes and 3 seconds with only the help of this app! Hard work pays off I couldn't even run 3 miles without struggling.

Despite my doubts, the walk/ run training method works! I've run two half marathons since starting it. When I drift out of shape, I pick it up again. No thinking involved: just walk and run at the signal.

Like the run/walk app. Love that it prompts when to walk or run. I only wish that it counted the distance during the warm up and cool down
