You will have access to your ŠKODA´s most important vehicle information, your digital logbook and additional features directly on your smartphone. Would you like to know where your vehicle is parked? How much your last journey cost? Or when your next service is due? Make your ŠKODA a connected car! Simply obtain a ŠKODA Connect LITE DataPlug from your local ŠKODA retailer and plug it into your ŠKODA’s diagnostic port (OBD2). Connect the DataPlug to your smartphone via Bluetooth, register yourself in the app and ŠKODA Connect LITE will transmit all your important vehicle information to your Smartphone. This works for the majority ŠKODA models with an internal combustion engine manufactured since 2008. ŠKODA Connect LITE brings the following features in particular to your smartphone: My ŠKODA: - Overview of the most important vehicle data, such as vehicle identification number, mileage, fuel tank levels and the date your next inspection service is due. App refuses to work (And fails badly) if you don't give it ALL permissions that it asks for, even though it doesn't need most of them for basic functionality. Connecting to the Dataplug won't work if GPS/location isn't enabled, for example. App constantly pops up prompts to allow data collection, analytics, "Challenges", and more, even when those types of notifications have been turned off in the app settings, and after the user has repeatedly dismissed the same prompts over time. Even when it works it's really more for Skoda to collect data about our cars; but it doesn't have for example any indication of "software/firmware update available for your buggy automatic road sign reading feature" (which is THE reason why I wanted it in the first place, to avoid unnecessary trips to the dealer to find out if minor-but-possibly-useful software/firmware updates have been published). Overall, a huge disappointment, and a slap in the face of the user's privacy and time.

It's fun and interesting and useful WHEN IT WORKS. Every time there's an upgrade it's awful for a few weeks. Get a stable platform and keep it. Every few weeks the Dongle stops automatically connecting to the phone and while you can mess around with starting it manually, the real solution is to uninstall / re install the app after which things seem to work ok for another few weeks. I'm assuming theres something like an update to the Dongle/ app as most times there has not been any phone update.

So far so good, love the information that it gives on each journey etc and without any input from me. I is it correct? Time will tell. The 5 stars are for now, but this may change in the future as I use the app more

Not loading vehicle details with "Error loading vehicle data" According to the developer that connection to backend database is broken. Also periodically it's using phone battery with the following message: "Authorised workshops are being updated” even if the car is stationary at home and me being abroad!!! I thought the app should stop when it reaches the trip time out threshold and only monitor BT connection to the data plug. So far it's the top battery consumer on my phone!

Absloutley terrible app . Doesn't connect unless you have a skoda connect plug in car . Wasn't told this . Several calls to the skoda dealer ,several emails back and forth to be told car should be installed with one . Several more calls later to dealer ,who told me No idea how to connect it . Don't know anything about it . To delete the app and just use the my skoda app . This is a brand new 21 skoda kamiq ,straight off the forecourt . From a skoda dealer , you need to buy the plug yourself .

Until now good, but I would like more technical data to show regarding engine parameters, especially info about the particulate filter, injectors, sensors readings, etc

Easy to use but present only basic service information.Be a more practical when start use OBD connection and collect dates from car sensors.

Nice, but I would like more car related starts such as average consumption. Also never figured out why the app says I filled 5 less litres than the receipt. Do all gas stations steal from me?

If the app works, it works perfectly. But I have had issues with starting the app where it asks for permission (location) where it had full permission and just stays in a loop. This has happened on both android 10 and 11. On Android 10 I always needed to even restart the phone because it was stuck in the loop. Should those issues have been resolved it will be a 5 star rating

Really like the app but it should give advice how to improve the scores and there should be an option to change the units between imperial and metric! Hence the 4 stars.
