Welcome to Discord, the best cross-platform chat app for text, video, and voice comms designed specifically for gamers. We’re used by over 250 million gamers around the world.

Create secure chat channels to play games with friends, organize squads, find teammates, LFG, and participate in gaming communities. Whether you play Battle Royale or MOBA, FPS or RPG, or if you follow streamers or esports, you can easily start a group chat for everything you and your gaming clan want to talk about.

Here’s why Discord is the best gaming chat app ever:

* Live text, voice, and video chat

Message, call, and chat with your friends in real-time for all your gaming needs: everything from coordinating play sessions for Apex Legends to discussing League of Legends game meta, and organizing CS:GO team events to meming about Hearthstone. You can even upload your own images and GIFs.

* Private and public messaging

Whether you’re making a chat server for your personal Fortnite squad or a big online Dota 2 coaching community, Discord’s got you covered. DM friends 1-on-1, group chat in a secret invite-only clan, or even start a public channel that anyone can join. You can participate in as many servers as you like!

* Instant invite links for chat servers

Inviting friends to talk is as simple as copy/pasting a link. Once your teammates open your unique server link, they’ll instantly be added to your voice or text chat group so you can immediately start playing games, organizing World of Warcraft raids, and trash talking your Rocket League buddies.

* Server tools and member roles

Discord is full of tools to help you organize your guilds however you like. Tidy up conversations by adding topic-based channels within each server, and assign roles to members if you want to give them special permissions or mod powers. You can also sort specific clan members into groups that you can message all at once with a single tag.

* Community management

Groups of all sizes thrive on Discord. In fact, we’re the preferred communication app of game developers, Reddit communities, Twitch streamers, YouTube content creators, and countless other gaming-related interest groups to post news, polls, giveaways, and discussion topics for their thousands of followers.

* Push notification controls

Want to be notified when someone DMs or tags you to play Overwatch, but not when there’s a big debate about theorycrafting in your MTG Arena group? That’s easy with our detailed server notification settings, which give you complete control over what types of messages you get alerted for.

* Cross-platform app for AFK chatting

Discord is available for both mobile and desktop so you can voice chat with your team while playing games like PUBG, Rainbow Six Siege, or Destiny 2 on your PC, and continue to meme with the whole squad on your phone when you’re out playing Pokemon Go. Have all the flexibility you need in an app that’s fun, sleek, and easy to use.

Millions of Discord servers have been created so far, with rich communities and tight-knit guilds formed around numerous games and interests. So what are you waiting for? Install Discord for free, start a chat server or join a friend’s, and make yourself at home.

Reviews From google play store

The app used to be great. But after one of the recent updates, it does not pick up my phone's microphone at all. I can still call people using other apps like Skype and talk to them, but on Discord, my mic simply does not get picked up. As a result, I have no choice but to give it one star because I can no longer have calls with people using my phone app.

This app is a 5-star app in my opinion. It's so cool how you can create your own servers, add whoever you'd like, and also download your own bots for servers so you won't be bored. It's really fun to voice chat as well, so you can talk to all of your friends over long distances, and add other people into the voice chat for more. I use this app everyday, and it's very cool, in my opinion.

Ive usually had really good experiences with this app, but recently each time i try to join a voice chat, i get stuck in connecting and cant do anything about it. I've gone through all the steps listed on the help website and none of them worked. Sometimes if I use my data it works for about a minute but then starts 'connecting'. When you fix this issue i will give 5 stars. Thanks

Well, congrats to the people who run and update discord! Since the most recent updates started rolling out discord has decided to just become nearly unfunctional. Sometimes just decides outright to not work at all. Apparently the app just decides on a random basis to make it impossible to do anything in the most literally definition possible. Straight up full unresponsive. (Should note, this is with servers not being down.) If they fix the app so I can use it, I'll change my rating.

Well, I been on this app for years now it's a good app don't get me wrong but this always happens my internet is good and all but when I go into my discord everything is loaded but nothing shows, when I try to go into a server it won't allow me, it freezes everything up when I try to use it. I was wondering if you can probably fix that please.

App was perfect.. until this last update.. now I cant use voice chat. They can't hear me and I can't hear them.. now it's more like another texting app, only can text and send and receive photos. And I did search the internet for a possible fix for the app.. but it's all for if you have it on your computer and not a phone.

I love this app, I have found an amazing friend group I know for almost 3 years now and they helped me so much. This app is amazing, but the only nitpick I have is the mobile version and the character limit. I feel like the character limit should be capped up to maybe 3-4k. I roleplay alot, and so when filling out the templates for my characters I hate it when discord decides to just completely delete my message because it was over 2k characters.

I absolutely love the app! The only issue I have right now, is that with the couple new updates, it won't allow me to change my server icon (one I created). It worked fine before this, but it suddenly doesn't work. (It tells me it took too long to update and to try again later, but even if I wait, it says the same thing) I dunno if anyone else has this issue or not, but it's a bit annoying :/

In the last week all the sudden most of my custom emojis when using a mobile device the app has been putting -(random number) making the emoji not work. I've tried clearing the data, uninstalling and reinstalling, and nothing is fixing it. I went online to look for a solution and found nothing. Others are having the same problem that I've spoken to. I don't know if it was from a recent update or what but it's irritating.

discord is basically trash now for me 🙄 i have to close and open the app just to switch servers or channels cause everything is just loading! first things first, its not connection problem so dont ask me again to try other wifi or data since i already did 😒 i could do all other functions but chatting had become a hassle since i cant see anything, i dont even know if my message is sending or if someone already replied....

A nice app. Needs improvement though- Direct access to Disboard rather than having to use the browser, or like having nicknames. Having a unique profile picture for different servers would be nice- moreso if youre status in each server is unique, and you want to display it. Using any color for role names, possibly by directly inputting either the Hue, Saturation and Lumination, or amount of Red, Green, and Blue of the color. For such a good app, there sure are a lot of improvements to be made.

When video calling, I cannot text and see the video at the same time. Switching between texting and calling is a hassle as well, where selecting the text box will remove the "Voice Connected" text at the bottom, which would allow me to resume video call. So I have to go into my notifications and click on the Discord notification to allow the "Voice Connected" text to reappear, and click on that to resume video. The back button is too close the end-call button. I accidentally hit end-call a lot.

This app is great in all, but recently this app has been connecting to my wifi, its not showing any of my dms and there is only a "connecting" sign on the top of my screen, people are saying there is a new update, but when i open google play it doesn't say i need to update it. Pleasr fix this, i would like to talk to my friends, thank you

I personally think discord is just decent. The fact that you can talk to many people online is good, but the problems come in when voice chat appears: when I try to play games with my friends (especially fortnite), I always end up glitching out of any calls I am in, and it gets really annoying, not only for me, but for my friends too. Please fix this!

I love this app! It's great for calls and for chatting! Only problem is is that I'm like, stuck in this terrible loop where if I use the default settings for calls, the only volume I can see is "Bluetooth" volume, even though I don't have a Bluetooth device connected as well as not being able to hear someone in a call, and if I switch it over to the other mode, it says "call volume" but i still can't hear the other person in the call. If there's a fix for this, let me know.

I've been using the mobile for a long time now and love that it is evolving into the same way as PC. The one issue I have is that when I'm in a private call, the speaker button is already green but it does not go to the speaker and instead stays on the ear piece which irritates me a little but hopefully it gets fixed in the future.

This is amazing, overall...But, I was banned from the Pokécord server (Ran by a bot; pretty much) for absolutely no reason! Please fix this! Even if I should be complaining to the original owner- Who were they? I can't do any commands for the Pokécord bot because (More presumably) I was banned from the server! I'd also like to suggest something: A way to spoiler an image mobile.

Discord is a great alternative to services like TS or Skype, and I've had a great experience with it, especially since they're consatntly updating and adding requested features, but it does occasionally have problematic display issues or voice chat lags, as well as sone rare stalling. Otherwise, though great app and would definitely reccomend!

One of my few issues with the app is that the calling feature doesn't work how I'd like it to. It doesn't pick up anything off my microphone when I'm in calls. Not a sound makes it through, but I have a panoply of other apps that work just fine with my microphone. It's rather annoying, to be honest. But it's still the top app I have for talking my friends, and I don't have many problems at all. Overall, a wonderful app, but there are a couple bugs that can completely screw over your experience.

The app is very nice, I use it to stay in contact with all my fellow gamers. Sadly, there's one problem I keep stumbling upon. When my screen turns off while I'm in a voice chat - on servers and private - I get disconnected, which can be annoying. I hope You have a fix for that :)

Yay it's fix haha. Happy bout this. Thanks for your hard work. ~~~~~~ Hello, not sure what's going on with the app. I'm using an Android phone, and while I try to be on a call, it's telling me I'm connected with Bluetooth. Though, I'm not, I can't control volume and everything sounds so low. I uninstalled the app and reinstalled. I made sure my Bluetooth is off. But nothing seems to fix the issue.

My main and preferred communication app, and gets installed first on any new device. I only wish some features from the desktop client were present in the mobile version. (Up arrow on the keyboard to edit, setting status, easier server management, etc). For the most part, the app is easy to use and learn, for the tech-savy at least.

Discord allows me to stay connected to large groups and friends at a fingers touch, easy to use and not just for gamers either, find your community and collaborate, fun, easy, welcoming. It's the #1 app I use and games for me have become obsolite as I have found groups that are more fun to talk to and roleplay with :) *biggest happy for discord and their wumpus* but the new update does glitch out too often, please wumpus get on the cure :)

*PLEASE READ;*Very good app but -2 stars because of the message going around. It basically says that if you do not send this message to 15 people, your account will be destroyed because of the overcrowdedness of the app now that it is getting too popular. The people who are complaining should have to leave, not the ones that are not complaining. After YouTube's messages got rid of, discord is the only way me and my friends can communicate. But, now, we fear we'll have to find another app.

I absolutely love this app, however I'm on Android 8.0.0 with an S7 and I am not getting notifications. I have system notifications on along with all notifications on in settings. However I just don't get notifications. Please, it would be greatly appreciated if you could fix this. I've seen this as a common problem with android users

Well, it seems like developers only reply when someone rate 1 or 2 so i rate 1 to get a response. Recently, i can't use voice channels. When i'm in a voice channel, the status is always "Connecting" and it keeps like that. I can't hear any sound and also can't make any sound. This is really bad. I've tried to reinstall but it didn't work. Hope you guys fix it soon. I will rate 5 if it is fixed. UPDATE: Problem solved, i will keep my words and rate 5*.

I've been using Discord for about 2 years now. Both on Desktop and Mobile. It is amazing and it literally has become an essential part of my life. I wake up I open discord first and if I have to go away from my Desktop PC, I open discord on my cellphone. I talk to my friends all the time. I play games with them while being on Voice chat in discord with them. I have found friends like family on Discord. I even sleep on Voice chat sometimes lol. I love Discord. Thank you for making it. <3

As much as I normally love this app on PC, the android version seems to not be compatible with ChromeOS. This app is plauged with numerous crashes and restarts. Specifically, if I attempt to connect to a voice channel, it will crash and restart immediately every single time. I'll change this review when this is fixed. My Chromebook is how I generally browse and chat with friends so it would be nice if this were addressed. Until then, I can use the browser based app just fine.

I had to re-install this app on my new phone. With my old phone it worked perfectly fine, but now when I try to log in on my new phone it says "New login location detected, please check your email". But everything is right.. I checked my email to see if something was wrong but there was nothing...

I absolutely LOVE this app. IMHO, it's the best app for gaming chat that I've used. I like the ability to set my username according to the game I need. The voice chat needs a bit of work to make it more clear, but it works for what I need it to. Cannot figure out how to upload video (or if it's possible). I will still stick with 5 stars.

I didn't have any issues with the app when I was signed in, but then I signed out. Every single time I try to sign in, I put in the correct email and password and then I click login and it will start loading like it's going to work, but then it just stops loading and does nothing and I'm still not in my account. PLEASE HELP

Let me start with the good, the quality of voice is crisp and audiophile worthy, the UI is a solid 8/10. Now the bad, the video will freeze and start to look like a corrupt video file, the audio with my phone specifically (Google pixel 3XL) is wonderful coming in but on speakerphone people say it is echoing, on earbuds/headphones your mic doesn't work, but you can still hear them. I hope they improve this app. If it worked properly, this would be a perfect alternative to the desktop version.

I cant use the normal voice chat feature anymore because of a glitch that makes it so they can't hear me so I am forced to use push to talk mode, please fix so I can talk to my friends while playing games, love using this app for texting but problems with voice chat make it hard to use when in call with friends while playing games. please fix

So um- I love the app, and I love how im always connected with my friends, irl and online. It's a cool way to bond over random things, like anime or Video Games, or just meet new people in servers you join. It's fun and it's a great way to comunicate with others. I hpe this app won't die out anytime soon!

A- A very good application, but you have to pay to Send files over 8MB. Anyway, I think this is the perfect app for groups. Cause it's easy to create servers for Free. I would recommend this app. 4 stars! (A-)

I have just started using discord. Its was doing ok for a few weeks but now my friends cant seem to hear anything i say. So we tried and tried but they still cant hear me. I tried using my friends phone and it worked. I just want to know if you can fix this thanks.

Audio and Voice error/bugging. Hello, I have a report to this app that it was buggier after the update. I turn my volume up and down and the Bluetooth Volume just came out and make no difference. Even, it's getting louder than before because I cannot control the voices volume. Please fix it fast because it's getting annoying and hurting my eardrums. My phone is Neffos A5. Thank you. -Random

Unable to use the speaker because my friend will hear themselves. This doesn't happen during actual phone calls. I've tried every setting, even echo cancellation. I am not going to turn on press to talk because I want a hands-free experience. Reply: yes, I use that setting. I've also toggled it on/off. Bluetooth is always off.

Hi to All developers & huge thanks for making this app. There is a big problem with the voice from ( Output & input ), I actually can't hear my friends and they have the same this issue. We tried in what's app & Viber & more app those apps was working very well but in discord the voices are so quite I checks the setting & I tried all of the ways but still so quit they ( my friends ) tried too but thisissue is so worst. FIX THE DISCORD DEVELOPERS OR WE GONNA UNINSTALL THE DISCORD.

I love this app! I can talk to my friends and i can call them with just a tap/click! And the servers are wonderful! All i need is internet and im good to go! There are text types that i have learned and its pretty cool! I also can send pictures and make my own server. In my server i can make roles and all of that cool stuff. I can change my name as well without any money paid! So i give this 5 stars!

When I first downloaded Discord, I was excited Cuz' I heard that you can Voice chat with friends, and I expected correctly, I can vc with my friends and other people, but..... I'll give this 4 stars Cuz, sometimes, I hear my own audio and it gets annoying sometimes, but that happens occasionally so it's just smooth sailing for me, overall it's a really good app. Thanks!

I'm in love with this app; it has almost everything someone can ask for in a messaging app! Though on mobile you have lesser features than on PC, it's still the same experience nonetheless. ─ Right now, the only issue I'm having is the fact that with the new feature, Custom Status, is when everytime I reopen the app the status goes to "clear tomorrow" which I clearly set to another time, or to be specific, never clear. It's getting somewhat annoying at the moment.

The app itself is great, however, there is a minor inconvenience with the Nitro, in my opinion. I believe there should be an option for permanent discord as it would be much easier than paying for a month or year. This would make it seem less like a membership and more like a rank which seems better to me. PC discord is still much more updated and it runs smoother, but the app is pretty good for mobile devices.

Very functional app that has shown a lot of improvements over the years since I've started using it back in 2017. However lately I've been constantly encountering a bug in which Discord decides to close and kick me out of any voice calls I was currently in. This usually happens whenever I have it open in the background. It seems like this issue only began to occur due to a recent update and I hope this gets a fix at some point soon.

Been using discord for a good few years now, but this latest update has really made the app take a nosedive. It freezes and disconnects with alarming frequency, and it outright crashes several times a day with normal use. It always seems to crash when I'm looking through my picture library for something to send, if that helps at all. Sure hope you guys fix this.

there are always some connection problems. it often does not work sneaking between the speakers. And now I hear my voice louder than the voice of the other man. And I did not change anything in the parameters, it all happens by itself.

Even though mobile discord is far behind PC discord, and there is even a difference between IOS and Android discord, i still love this app, despite its inconsistencies, it lets me talk to my friends in an easy way and i can say with certainty that if it had at least a few more of the PC features (screenshare, being able to watch streams in server VCs, ect) it would be a 5/5, but for now its a 4/5, not bad at all, but can still improve

I've had my discord account for years, but I only started really using it about a year ago, and I have to say, it is the best thing I've done there are so many communities that you can be a part of and there are so many friends to make. If you enjoy gaming and talking in general. Discord is great for you. Discord doesn't even feature ads so you can have a clean and mostly friendly experience if you know where not to look.

The audio of game before using discord was crystal clear but when you turn on discord only the best quality of voice you can hear ( in discord). It is very clear, but you will not hear proper game audio. I'm using galaxy S8 And I'm using Cosmo7.1 headphone as well as AKG earphone, which gives best audio quality. Im getting this issue, If possible please help, give some updates. With warm regards

Pretty good, but can ya add an option where we can hide members in the member list in servers? Sometimes it can get really clunky and I'd like to be able to find people I wanna find instead of scrolling through countless people, it'd also just be nice to have.

What the hell is going on? App worked fine twelve hours ago and now it in an endless loop of connecting when I try to use it. None of my other apps are having this problem just this one. Even the Skype app is more stable then this one is right now. Edit: App is much more stable and user friendly now. No longer have connection issues and if I do it's on my end that's the issue. Keep up the good work.

I wanna give the app 5/5 but there are 2 big key features missing from it. While you are able to drag and reposition servers and roles in this app, you still for some reason cannot drag and drop to rearrange channels. This is a big bummer, as it would be incredibly useful to have without needing to bother somebody else that has perms for it. The other missing key feature is being able to spoiler an image. On PC the option is there and easy, but on mobile there is no option yet. Fixes make a 5/5!

Edit: Issue was fixed within just a few days. Thanks guys. Leaving the old text for posterity to show what was solved. "I can't do calls on the app since the custom status update. Discord is silent, assumedly because my in-call volume is controlling a nonexistent bluetooth device, despite my bluetooth and background search thereof both being turned off."

I love thos app, and i use it daily to talk with my friends! HOWEVER, one thing that's been troubling my friend and I is the newest update that features custom status... She does not have the option available on desktop (I dont know why, it could be that she just hasnt updated properly), but has it on mobile. I on the other hand have the complete opposite happening: it working fine and dandy on desktop, but i dont have the feature on mobile. In my case, the app is fully updated. Please help asap!

It's a great app, i use it every day. Rarely ever had issues with it, though the mobile version could use some features from the pc such as custom status, link copying, kicking people from group chats, such and such From all my years of using discord this is a must get for people who want to interact with large communities and find great friends to play games with. I'm a part time gamer, musician and artist and discord helps me interact with the same hobbies as me and improve severely.

I've had Discord for some time now, and I absolutely love it! It gives me and my friends the ability to talk outside of school, and join communities for our favorite games. I just have one problem. Every time I use voice chat, it begins to echo, and it give off a horrible high-pitched screech. Other than that, I love it!

Is the best messaging app I have ever used. I have yet to experience any bugs (on my phone) nor on the computer. It is easy to use and navigate after taking the time to learn the neat tricks and tools it has. Beginner friendliness is not very high (but that could be me) but if you are a fast learner or have someone teaching you it is not bad at all.

All in all, it's really good, but it isn't equal on all devices. My current device (an Android or whatever, I don't pay attention) doesn't have the Custom Statuses. I know this is minor, but I hate missing out on things. I'd like to know when this feature will be available on devices like mine. Thank you for the experience, and thank you in advance for updating it with Custom Statuses, dear devs~.

Works decently well. How ever I wish mobile had better server customization like the ability to use custom hex codes on tiles like you can on desktop. The ability to log into multiple accounts at once as well would be excellent. Wireless headsets do not work on discord mobile and many of my friends have the same issue.

Great app, meet a lot of new friends through this. Definitely a must have for anyone into networking and making/talking to friends. Updates are slower than the PC and there's a minorly annoying bug that scrolls the page back up up the page every time I leave it even when there are no new messages.

They have missed one very important thing. This is Google play, not Apple store. Almost all Android devices have back button and you guys assigned to function same as home button. It completely closes the app instead of returning the previous page. It it annoying Edit: It's been fixed 👍all good.

I love this app, i really do. I use it all the time infact! I am always talking to friends in server voice chats but they like to talk in server video chat a lot. there able to do that cause they own computers. i am unable to join them in Server video chats sadly cause I only own A Cellphone. but i am able to hear them. i am just wandering when thoughs of us with Mobile Devices will be able to join our fellow Dicord friends in Server Videos chats. id appreciate a reply 😊

It crashes a lot, the enable voice overlay button doesn't work on it's own and you have to reset the button each time you get on a call. But the desktop Discore works perfectly fun. (Another edit) Please stop, the new update is moving all of the servers I put in folders outside of the folders and moving my servers out of order 🤦‍♀️ And you're breaking the emoji's for the servers...what next???

The app is great except for one major problem. No notifications. It's been heavily documented, the poor support Discord has for notifications, but I hoped my stock android build on the pixel 2XL wouldnt cause any dramas. Well, discord, the app loses major functionality without notifications, and if you can't get them to work on stock android, perhaps it's time to ask the devs what they've actually been doing?

Best communication app. Can create private servers for free + custom roles and emojis, easy username changing, easy server sharing/joining, option to broadcast custom ingame messages (like steam allows), ability to add/create a discord bots to easily manage automated broadcasts and role assigning, live screen share and voice chat, built in streamer mode, and easy sign up. I used my private server multiple times to send content to other devices.

It's a good program to have an use. Most of my friends an some family use it. Only reason I can't give 5+ stars, is when I updated the app on my Google phone. All notifications were silent, no vibration an nothing but the icon worked. Kind of disappointing. Otherwise it's a good app to have.

Awesome, I've been using discord for a while on my pc, and I realised there was an app for it, so I though, great, another way for me to interact with communities and my friends while I'm out and about, I hope it's as good and easy to use as the pc version, and it was, discord has never failed me, it has amazing servers (as in connection, not community servers) it has complex options for servers (community servers), however they are still easy to understand and use. Its for casuals and for pros!

Honestly, I would rate it 5 stars but now, its awful! Recently I have had to uninstall discord, delete my discord account, restart my tablet nine times! Cause discord when I join a call all it says is "Connecting" which I have the latest version, I've checked everything, and I haven't seemed to be able to fix it! Fix this problem now for Android cause this is super annoying! This only happened with discord updating!

It replaces Teamspeak from PC and Skype from phone and PC. It takes calling, chatting, server and group managing and experiences to a higher level, but remaining true to that goal of connecting users together. Discord are good for a variety of things. Things that other applications have, but seperately. Discord collected all of them, and perfected them, all in one application. Discord is the Application that perfected perfection.

I just have 2 problems right now. One, is that Android doesn't have the Custom Status. I see on my PC it has the custom status, but I'm not able to be on my PC all the time. Therefore, I would like it on my phone. My second issue is when I open the emojis, sometimes discord crashes. That's just really been getting on my nerves having to open discord over and over just to use a emoji.

I'm not making it one star because it's bad, but because i can't seem to use it. I'm not sure if it's my phone or the app but I'll try this anyway. Every time i try to open the app it shows the Discord icon then the screen immediately goes white and brings me back to the home screen. I'm very concerned and confused about this. My phone has no restrictions to this App and I've gone through all of my settings to try and get it to work, I've deleted and redownload it about 5 times.

I have been using Discord for 3 years now and it has been amazing. Although, for a while now anytime I use my phone for the video chat, it always crashes the app. Sometimes it will work, but most of the time not. Can someone please tell me if I can fix this issue somehow in app or are you guys fixing this? Please help...

I have a Note 9 and my wifi works perfectly. However, my discord messages do not go through, there is a latency problem and this only happened recently. My discord calls don't work too, it's just 2 floating cubes as my friends describe. I used Skype and everything worked fine. I honestly prefer discord for texting and servers but Skypes for calls. Just go to Skype if you're only using it to text and to call.

I really like discord. It doesn't take up to much space, and it's easy to talk with your favorite YouTubers. It's way better than Messager, but I would personally prefer Snapchat. You can send pictures, voice call, talk with other gamers, and make new friends. I would highly recommend Discord to you.

This is one of the best apps ive ever had but i thought i might as well also say that i do have issues with it like whenever i click the notification for a new message in the app, it would load up discord and nonthing is updated even though i know theres a new message so i have to force quit the app and reload it ussaully to see new messages.

the desktop version is obviously superior to the features of what discord mobile offers, but discord mobile is already one of the best, or even, the best texting app to communicate with people of similar interests of video games, communities, and such. it may be a bit funky walking around discord as it may seem overwhelming, but becoming active here makes discord seem refreshing and very easy to use

Great app in most aspects, currently running into a issue that plays all audio through the ear piece on my phone instrad of the speaker. Bluetooth is turned off and speaker is check on. Still wont play anything through the phone speaker. Tryed reinstalling the app and its still an issue. One article i have looked into on the Discord site from six days ago detailing the issue I'm having was pulled down. Would really love to get this looked into and back into the VC.

I've been using this app for years to talk to people across servers. However, the PC version is always very much ahead on updates. I suppose that makes sense though. But with mobile, IOS is ahead of Android and that quite bothers me. Also, my Discord tends to crash almost every time I use the emojis Discord has instead of my phone's emojis. This is why my rating stands at 2 stars.

I love using discord as I think everyone does however the recent update has cause a bug. For the Oppo phone and I presume some other android phones, when in voice chat it changes the settings to bluetooth speaker sound output in which it can't believe volumed up or down meaning we can barely hear anyone. The bug switches from the external speaker of the phone to the internal speaker generally only used for phone calls. (Yes I am aware of the speaker button that makes people quiet, it's not that)

I'm enjoying Disocrd mobile that it is great, however with the latest update, I cannot even be in a call without all of my audio being messed up. I've already toggled everything I could to try and fix it to use my speaker to talk with others, and it didn't start to work until AFTER I connected my bluetooth headphones to use the speaker...

Discord sometimes eat messages that weren't deleted. I'll get notifications & poof the message is gone. I have no idea why, but on my phone bold text looks nearly exact to normal text & I don't have this issue on other apps. I still hate that discord makes us invisible if we leave the app (even when it is still running in the background! Skype didn't even do this!) bc of it, I'm always invis unless on my laptop bc I don't wanna be hopping off and online for people every 5 secs. Give us statuses!

New location detected, check e-mail ! New location detected, check e-mail ! New location detected, check e-mail ! New location detected, check e-mail ! ...... I use 2 devices, 1 pc - 1 smartphone, the same ones all the time, and like this was not enough, i must verify with annoying captcha that i'm not robot, for sake!!!!! Overlay hardly working on PC and this login issue from smartphone with captcha on top, are too much to crack my nerves. This is the 2nd time i decided to give a chance to this software, but i regreted it again and i have no patience for such issues, there are better alternatives for years now that i already use ofc, that can also preview URLs and encrypt chats. Enough with this one. Good for pc only for minimal use.

i love this app to bits, but idk if it's just a me problem but: 1) occasionally my status will appear as "offline" in member lists even if it's set to anything BUT invisible and; 2) my custom status message doesn't exactly like updating or appearing. no matter how many times i try to set it to "don't clear", it always sets itself to "disappear tomorrow". otherwise, great app, other than the bugs it's 10/10.

(5 Stars because i almost never have any issues with Discord.) I updated earlier and now when I join a voice chat, my volume switches to Bluetooth, and that's not even turned on. It did this when I was a beta tester too. Please fix it so I can adjust my VC volume as needed.

Overall it's incredibly useful for playing basically any type of online game that does not have the ability to chat with other people, but recently everything has been super quiet on it no matter how high my volume is. It is really maddening especially for games like dungeons & dragons where you need to be able to hear people

Absolutely love it, very nice chat system and great way to connect with people. If you guys read these please consider a way for mobile users to upload pictures in an easier way than scrolling through every picture ever saved instead of being able to choose which album.

I love this app and all but the only thing that annoys me is that i forgot my password and now i can't change it and it doesn't tell you anything about your password when you forget it and i don't want to just abandon my account. Tip:try to make a space where it says you password so we don't forget it

Discord works very well in PC, not in Android. I can easily open up Discord in my PC facing no problems at all, but when it comes to phone, somehow it doesnt work at all (the servers that is). I only use cellular data, PC and Android are connected to the same network, yet only one works.

Text channels work fine. When it comes to voice calls and screensharing the app is horrible. Even though my internet is pretty damn good, the screen keeps freezing, there's audio delay and the quality is just bad. And it disconnects like every 10 minutes. It's really tilting.

This app is do smooth and the ui is awesome. The only complaint i have is that i can't use spell correction(when there is a red line under a word that is spelled wrong and then you click on the word and choose the correctly spelled word).

Update 11-8-19. Contacted support and never heard back. Video chat remains useless. It continues to not work. Just use Skype. Video chat no longer properly works. the screen goes bright green and eventually starts to work. for about a minute. Then the screen freezes and glitches on the left side. it's very frustrating. update: I followed developer instructions and it did no good. it actually seems to have worsened the issue somehow. voice chat works but video doesn't work at all.

Its great but I'd like it if when you blocked someone in a mutual server it didn't show them on your online friends list. Why is that a function if they're not your friend? Also my camera is super dark in app so i cant take pics and why are we not able to send videos? How is that not a function yet?

It was great, however over the past few days until now I can't connect to my friend's server voice channel. It kept saying "connecting" continously. When I tried to join the voice channel on my laptop it works cleanly and succesfully but the opposite on my phone. I hope that this bug will be fixed and will no longer be a problem.

Everything is ok but with my Google pixel 3xl you can't use the speakerphone because no matter the setting, it echos on everyone. I've tried uninstalling and reinstalling, clearing app cache, I even factory reset cause it doesn't matter to me much doing so and still it echos all the time on others. Also recently I've got a friend that has a video issue where it's garbled up and it has never done so before. I've even had him try hardware scaling and it does nothing different. Fix soon please.

I mean screw Skype or messenger discord is the ultimate chatting platform. Being able to join large communities that share your interests is very useful. Another amazing feature is the ability to personalise your own server with numerous channels, bots and other members. The possibilities are honestly endless. I have really enjoyed discord to the point of addiction. I highly recommend this app to most people. :)

Skype? What's that? Discord is an excellent platform for gamers to be able to forge communities and easily chat with friends and others with similar interests. Hopping into a call or group chat is quick and clarity of video and sound quality is superb. The UI is sleek and the ease of use is even sleeker. I've been using this platform for about four years now and I've never had any major issues with it. Thank you for your service, and keep up the great work Discord team!

This is a cool app, i found so many friends here. But for some goddamn reason my text sometimes wont send or the messages wont load. The developers really need to fix this issue. Wether its the network or the app itself

By far the best communication app you could ever have. I love all the little details it allows you to add to your messages. The only down side is you can only mark an image as spoiler on PC, but other than that its perfect.

Great app all around though the chat is lacking comparing to telegrams and even Skypes free features. Wish DMs had read receipts. The app still has major echo issues where no other app does. Sometimes still hangs loading messages and chats when you open it. Please fix this better. It was much worse when I rated one star months ago. I have contacted support but it still persists only halfway fixed. TO DEVS: try a low bandwidth or low signal WiFi and try to load chats, It won't.

I don't know what to say. The overall experience I get so far is just amazing. I've been a Discord user for almost 3 years and already made some amazing friends. The app itself is beautifully designed, like it alot. Definitely deserves my $50+ Nitro.
