Fantastic tool. Well organized and impressive UI. The calculator icon needs work as the app is far more impressive than the thumbnail would lead you to believe. You could put a Haas logo in the corner of the calc and I'd buy that they spent a bunch of money programming this app; it's that professional. Next step is inputing tooling catalog charts to find the chip load of specific brand tools. Or at least direct hyper links to the website with the information.

For new Machinist, some of the abbreviations are unknown. Not the fault be maybe a glossary of abbreviations would be nice. I am new to CNC Machining and some are confusing. My instructor say your app is very good. It will take time and experience to know how to use this. Not the fault of the developer, it my inexperience.

Mostly love this, and it's way cheaper than buying the physical machinists' calculator. Would love it more if they were to add a widget so I could do conversions from a home screen...😊 Update: dev got back to me about widget, I see that it's not an option right now, but it still would be nice. Have to give 5 stars for the quick response. (Was already at 4 stars).

I've personally bought pretty much every machinist app there is on the Play store. Just buy it. It's worth it. It combines 3-4 of the other apps on the play store (it also has more features that no other machinist app has). The DEV team keeps updating the app with new features and bug fixes. If you suggest new features the DEV team actually responds and cares. The only completion this app had was Machinist buddy. That app was not updated in years and got taken down this year. The only thing I can think of that it doesn't have is British Standard Pipe Tap information and you don't see a lot of that in the USA.

As of now, I'm still a greenhorn when it comes to machining. So my knowledge of how to set tools at the right speeds is lack luxture, but this app has been a great help in learning as well as not breaking tooling with incorrect speeds and feeds. I also use to find the correct drill sizes for taps which is always a bit difficult without a proper chart.
