Spotify Mobile Free has a feature where you can decide whether you want to watch a 30 second video ad in exchange for 30 minutes without ads. This is good. However, if I know I only want to listen to one or two songs, sometimes I will decline the ad. In the past this meant I could listen to music immediately. They have changed it. Now if you say "no thanks" they will proceed to play THREE MUCH LONGER AUDIO ADS! WHAT KIND OF DOUBLE BIND IS THIS, SPOTIFY?

Very bad interface. I can't easily click a song to listen to it, instead, I get like a ten second preview. I can't listen to my playlists normally, it's always on shuffle. The PC and tablet versions of Spotify are so good. It's a shame to see that I can't use Spotify normally as a free user on my phone without paying for premium. I'd be willing to pay for a better experience if the app was better.

Love my spotify and would be lost without it, however, recently it has become extremely annoying, it has started to pause about 5 or 6 times during each song, doesn't matter if am in bed with the sound going through a speaker, or out in the car, and even just listening to it on my phone, it's fine as long as am using the phone, as soon as i stop using the phone the music stops, been like this for a few months now

I close down the application just to hear music steaming. Streaming when I want the music to stop. It just won't stop. If this is not fixed i will delete the application. It works fine when I open it, floods me with ads and then refuses to shut down fully playing music or ads when I thought the program was going to close. Plays over everything else as well, when it has been closed. Could you make a close application button available so I don't have to turn off my phone for a moments silence.

My app goes offline unexpectedly. I can't search for music. I can only listen to my downloaded music. I have to uninstall and reinstall. This happened after my last update. Knocked this down to 3 stars. Was 5. Especially after I already contacted someone, and they supposedly fixed it. Not impressed right now.🤬 I pay money for this service would be nice to have it running smoothly again

I used to love Spotify, but for the last 6 months it has been stopping while I'm playing music. I have to restart it and then it goes for another couple minutes. I've read all the help articles and they all suggest logging out of all accounts at once. And, if that doesn't work, then uninstall and reinstall... Amazon music is looking pretty good right about now.

This app is fairly inconsistent. Sometimes it works smoothly, sometimes it does not work at all. The buttons sometimes open what they are meant to, sometimes it opens a random menu. It also struggles to stay connected to data, whether over my data plan or wifi. It also frequently stops playing music for reasons unknown; I regularly have to unlock my phone and tap play/pause to get the music back. I like Spotify as a service, but the app is generally a disappointment.

I don't know what you all have done to this app. It keeps asking for permissions to play in the background on my phone, but that option is not available in the app or phone settings. As soon as my screen goes black, the music or podcast stops playing. This is UNACCEPTABLE. I have done the update & changed all the other permissions that are available (which aren't even necessary). I like to listen to podcasts when I drive and this makes that impossible. FIX IT PLEASE!!

Spotify used to be incredible. I had rated this 5 stars until recently. Crashes ALL THE TIME stops middle of the song, I have to open it back up and then starts the song from the begging. I was a prime member for the longest time, they dont deserve any money of mine until this problem is fixed. In all honesty, slacker radio is better than this app now. At least with them I can listen to a full song in the span of 20 minutes....

The app itself is good of course, its spotify. But I have problem with spotify on my android phone (galaxy note 10+) that when I start the app and try to search for a song or artist, it says that I am offline and disconnected from network, although I am connected. Therefore I have to restart the app for it to work properly again every single time! It is annoying as hell. Please fix this issue.

Connectivity Issues says no internet but internet is on. Unable to listen to music at all. This started this month. Paying the family premium just not to be able to use it. Never had a issue before whatever their doing. The design and layout is easy to use etc but without being able to use this app is pointless to use now. Hopefully they get this fixed asap or we will just have to cancel subscription.

Spotify is a fantastic service and I hope it continues to grow, but the app is horribly optimized and needs serious improvements to how long it takes to finally load, search, and listen to songs, whether online or offline. It takes about 2-3 minutes before I can use the app, until then I'm just waiting forever for things to load. EDIT: 26/11/2019 1 Star The app is significantly worse - it rarely connects to the internet and I'm almost always in offline now despite other apps working flawlessly.

Generally I liked the app as a premium member. For some weeks it has been very annoying. The app just downloads albums that I have previously listened to. It takes up a lot of storage from my phone, as every day it downloads more albums. When I 'undownload' them they appear again. Asked tech support mulitple times for help - they said it would change with the new update but it's still the same issue.

There's a lot to like, but I also find this app to have a lot of bugs (Samsung S8+). It will stop playing mid song for no reason, then refuse to play songs until I close and reopen the app. Now it is playing only one song and refusing to play any others I select. Very confusing and frustrating. I may switch to Tidal at this rate.

It use to be amazing, but I'm just changing my rating, because as I just read other users with the same issues and having no answers from Spotify support! I'm really sad, because the whole app is great, but from about two months ago it keeps telling me I'm offline when I am ON and stops all the time for no reason, forcing me to restarts it many times a day while every other apps as YouTube, Netflix, Instagram keeps working well. Like many others I have recently started having major issues with internet connection - showing offline when it's not and cutting out when it's playing. Super frustrating since this application has been so great in so many ways and I have been a subscriber for quite a while now. Please fix the bugs from the latest update or help ppl figure out what settings are not set properly, this is such a great app otherwise!

EDIT: Same issue, almost 3 months later with a new phone. Can't believe this is a pay service -- Heart button on the notification hasn't worked in quite a while. Pixel XL on Android 10. Crashes about 15 minutes into playing every time I use it. Does manage to restart itself and seems fine afterward, but is very annoying while I'm trying to run.

Completely fed up of this app! It stops playing randomly, it seems to be when I'm listening to a downloaded playlist and I lose signal (as is frequent on the London underground) ... which shouldn't be an issue as the playlist is downloaded. The music starts again if I activate the screen which is driving me around the bend. This has been an issue for a good 5 months and there doesn't seem to be an end in sight!

They started pestering me to fill out some stupid survey, every time I opened it. Solved a lot of bugs I thought they had before, but now with the podcasts, for whatever reason, it doesn't always keep track of where you stopped. Random sucks! I had twelve songs in a row come from two artists from a pool of thousands of songs. Also, make it easier to switch between family members on the desktop program, please. Lastly, you can't download playlists on wear OS?

Every update seems to get worse. From the reorganization of the music library and artists, to constantly losing internet and saying "offline", to losing half your downloaded library every day and having to re-download it... Most annoying is paying for premium and still having your DOWNLOADED songs cut out every 5 minutes or so and having to close and re-open the app. On the verge of cancelling my premium membership and going to another streaming service. If I could give 0 stars I would.

Why is it when I try to add a song to a playlists, the playlists are sorted in a random order? I have my playlists in the main menu sorted in a particular way so it takes half a second to find everything, but when I try to add anything using the Android app instead of desktop, it takes way to long to find anything. It's horrible! What idiot product designer thought that this was a good idea? Give me my playlists in the order I sorted them in.

I would have given it 5 stars a few months ago. The latest updates have frustrating bugs. Now it randomly pauses itself and if I tap to make my screen light back up or hit one of my phone's buttons it sometimes restarts. I tried several things and nothing has helped. If I pay $10 a month to stream music, I want the music to stream. Spotify, PLEASE stop releasing buggy updates.

Great software in the background. Sadly the android app is absolutely garbage. It takes forever to load stuff, apparently for no reason- even in offline mode I often wait MINUTES to play a downloaded song. I do pay for premium and am VERY disappointed. This is definitely not an issue with my phone- it runs all other apps fine. Even 3D games and I would assume my phone should be able to handle a music player if it can handle a 3D game...

Music stops intermittently, checked recommended settings all seem correct, frustrating and have heard from a couple different people (with different devices) that they experience the same issue. The other issue I have is it is regularly telling me I have no internet connection when I clearly do so have to close and reopen. Paying for an app that doesn't work great is frustrating but am hoping for an update to fix issues.

Adds songs u dont want to listen to!! I add songs to my playlist, about like 6 or 7. Then, it plays a bunch of songs I dont want to listen to!! I skip a couple, then it plays a song from my playlist. After that song, it plays ANOTHER song I didn't add to my playlist. In the end, I run out of skips and have to listen to my songs from my playlist on youtube. On the other hand, their quality of music is pretty good. So I recommend this app to u if u can waste ur money on spotify premium. NOT HAPPY

Can play music, but you cant be on google while trying to listen because the music will start to glitch and it stops playing so you have to stay on the app unless you dont mind your music stopping in the middle of the song (only happens on this chromebook (HP touchscreen). *Update 11-26-2019- Now I can not choose what song I want to listen to at the moment, but I can ONLY choose a playlist to listen to.

Im been a paid suscriber for a coupke of years now. This app is use to be great, not it feels like a stupid social media app. I want Spotify to feel like an iPod with endless music. Not a MySpace page where I have to follow. Also, integration with Android Auto has been GARBGE lately. Song gets stuck, wont skip, wont work the next time i get in the car. FIX THIS NOW OR LOOSE ME for PLAY MUSIC

It used to be the best streaming service I used I've been a soild customer for 4 years and it was simple not its broken I prefer the old lay out before this recent one, I keep getting no internet connection when I've got soild wifi and data services, the music just stops and starts, I'm losing music in the list, and I cant remember all 5000 songs I have on my spotify, it's just a broken mess, please fix it

I absolutely love Spotify! It has every song that I like and would like to listen too. The only thing I would change is the Spotify Premium, I wish that it could be maybe a little less than 10 dollars per month. But besides that it is an awesome music app, and I DEFINITELY RECOMMEND IT!!!!😁😁

Though many songs are not available, this app does features great variety throughout and the streaming quality is steady. It does have some minor issues pertaining to queues and playback. They do get resolved with the updates but at the cost of some new ones. All in all, a handy and convenient score.

The big UI update a few months ago was an annoyance. My entire artist library disappeared and so I had to 'follow' every artist individually to restore it. Hate how liking an album forces you to save every single track to your library so you have to unlike the album itself and instead 'like' individual tracks to discard of the filler/remix tracks Bit clunky and needs a rework. Minus 1* for both causing this annoyance with the UI update abd because it took me 3 months to figure out the above

Its great i guess but sometimes it doesn't let u listen to "all" the songs for example lets say i'm listening to yellow pain and when i wanna pick what song i wanna listen to it doesn't have all his songs on there get what i'm sayin? Been paying for premium for 2+ years. Every person in my family, all different phones, complains about the app randomly turning off after about 2-5 songs. Really a pain when you're trying to listen when unable to restart (driving, exercising, cooking, etc). No known error or fix?! Uninstall not working.

When it works, it's great. But I have now had to reinstall numerous times, and experience significant problems. It will often stop playing suddenly, and resume as soon as I touch my phone. This is especially frustrating when I'm running or biking, and have to stop, fix it, and resume - only to happen again minutes later. Also, it will use up tons of data despite T-Mobile's BingeOn exclusion, and I've had to call support multiple times.

was working perfectly, but for the last few months or so, the music will randomly pause and play for random periods of time when the phone is locked. a new issue has arisen from the latest update, the app will not connect to the internet unless I'm connected to a 5G wifi network, otherwise it just won't connect, or if it does, it will disconnect when I lock the phone, as well as it has worsened the previous issue of the music randomly stopping.

Unable to dislike a song now and doesn't seem to remember which song I skip so I keep getting terrible song recommendations. Also says I'm offline half the time so I have to close the app and open it again to fix, should've have to do this. Also doesn't always allow me to skip a song when connected to my car 100% of the time.

I'm a free member, and it's been working amazing as it usually has. That is until I had to install the recent update. Now it randomly starts songs and ends them in the middle. I press play only for it to not work. Honestly the only reason I still keep the app is because it has a lot of good music on it, but that's useless if I can't listen to it. Whatever the developers have done to it, then they need to undo it.

I really don't like that I can no longer browse by artist alphabetically, it's been converted to some kind of artist-focused social media. I'm also not sure why "songs" needed to be changed to "liked songs" but I guess I can live with it. Functionally the app works well, but it seems to be going backwards in terms of the aforementioned changes which impact usability. Please give us old Spotify features mixed in with the excellent new interface.

The idea and concept of this app is exceptioal but when you actually get in to it and start using its service and trying to figure out how it works, its starts to become notting more than a giant head ach. I have attempted several times to use this app with a bad experience everytime, the only reason i have returned is to get a diffentive answer reguarding this service and those who have refered me to this site. I hope that this time is different than the others and its a more pleasent experiece

Had spotify on iOS and it was amazing. The android version though just doesn't work... it just stops playing when you lock your phone, doesn't allow to close/remove from notifications. Essentially forces you to restart your phone on a daily basis... will have to cancel my premium and look elsewhere if it doesn't get fixed :(

I've been a Spotify Premium user for years. Always loved it for its design and, of course, the music. The update from a few months ago changed that: no longer simple OR fun. All the artists I used to access from an alphabetized list are gone. Now I have to manually find & "Follow" them. I still haven't caught up from this disappointing update & honestly consider switching to a new service, since I have to do all the hard work over again anyway.

App needs fixed! Music constantly will stop playing or will not play at all. Often will say "no internet connection" when I am attached to wifi and have full service. I pay for this app and it almost never works how it should. I constantly have to close and re-open, uninstall and reinstall, or restart my phone to get it to work. If I'm driving, this is a real problem because it quits playing and there isn't anything I can do about it until I can find a place to stop and fix it. Horrible.

I've had a Spotify premium account for years, but with the new update the app is not compatible with Android. After a short period of time, it always says "No internet connection available" even though I am definitely connected to the internet, and only by closing and reopening the app can the issue be resolved. This is highly irritating since it interrupts the music, and I'm paying for it.

No ability to add songs to your library. You can only like it and that is all. You cannot upload your own mp3 songs to their cloud. Like you can with Google or Apple Music. When you change the position of a song you playing it takes 2 seconds to start playing in another place. It is not immediate. It has much less songs than in Apple Music. Album artwork is not shown on a locked screen. Can't change position of the song that you are playing right now in the locked screen player in Premium.

Since the last update, on mobile, tracks not downloaded become unavailable when toggling from wifi to 4g. This fixes itself if I restart my phone. Today, on 4g, songs just stopped playing. I'd go to the next one, and it would stop again. I had to restart the app numerous times. Please fix this bug. I pay to hear these songs, I'd like to be able to listen.

I've had Spotify since forever. I've watched them morph it from something I couldn't live without, into something that I wish I didn't have to use. I've looked into alternatives, but I've remained loyal to Spotify, despite my criticisms of it. Randomly stops playing. Says "no internet connection" erroneously. But the worst is how the categorization of the music has changed. Things like "following" an artist to have their music in my library. This isn't social media. Make it about the music.

Latest update sucks. Now, when I get in my truck, it does not start playing automatically. Open the app and the song is stuck at the beginning. Skip to the next song, same issue then it says I have no internet connection. I go to home screen and start a daily mix. It says I found a premium feature. I've been a premium subscriber for several months. Please fix these bugs you added in the last update.

I've loved this app for years, however at the moment I am constantly receiving notifications of it being offline when its connected to the internet. Super frustrating!! Previously restarting would work but not even that is working now. I don't read word for word what the updates do, but this has been going on for a few weeks now, so not sure what the latest updates have done to the app.

The user interface needs to be updated. I can't view all songs, or shuffle through all songs (downloaded). You can only shuffle through playlists/ artists / albums. Pretty lame. I also don't like that if I am on data and an album or playlist finishes, it will use up my data and start playing a random song. I could go into offline mode to get past this. But sometimes I like to search up things on data. Just annoying for them to do this autoplay and waste my money and data.

Recent update cause constant stoppages whilst signal is at full strength. Used to be a great app. The addition of video for the album cover is stupid aswell.. who cares!?! Massively over priced now. Due to this, after almost 7years, I'll be removing Spotify and moving to another streaming service.

I have had spotify premium FOR YEARS and loved it. But now it will not play. Keeps telling me it is "offline." I have tried suggestions and nothing works. I have uninstalled and re-installed several times. It will work once and then gone again. Very frustrating. I do not want to pay for an app that doesn't work. PLEASE FIX OR I AM CANCELING!

Lately I've been having issues with the app and the ability to save music to an "external" micro SD card instead of to the device itself. I have to restart my phone, which undownloads all my music, to have the option to download to the SD card, and then some time later I get a notification on my phone saying I've run out of disk space, and when I check, there is never the option to save my music to my SD card. Please fix this soon. Making the SD card an "internal" one just messes up everything.

I use spotify all the time for my workouts, walking, swimming and yoga. This app makes it easy to just find the artists you love, they gave great recommendations on new releases, old music, new music, All genres, and they mix it up pretty nicely. I never have trouble finding enough of the artists I like. I don't even really mind the short ads every 30 minutes.

I've been a Spotify Premium member for years, and I still love both the wide selection and service. However, this app/current version is horrendous. The music starts and stops unexpectedly, then after reinstalling for the 4th time, now states that there is "no internet connection" when all permissions, data usage settings, and wifi/data connections are properly set. Needless to say, I'm frustrated that I can't listen to any of the thousands of songs/tons of playlists I'm paying to listen to.

Getting hacked The service is nice an I enjoy using the app. The family plan is a nice touch so me and my girl can listen to the account. And playing it on my ps4 is also nice. However I have had my account hijacked twice in the past year. Where the culprit switched my settings and tried to kick me off my account. So long story short. Fix y'all security protocols and firewalls. Please and thanks

It's almost perfect I love the app it works great and sounds amazing my only issue is the fact I can't add my own images on playlists, you can't do it on mobile for some reason even though you can on Apple music and if I try on the website it'll always say the image is too small no matter what, but other than that great app 4/5

It starts playing and then will just stop and start playing after a few minutes and then just stop all together. It never used to do this. Playing on my echo is fine but it's horrible on my phone and cant figure out how to fix it or report it. So here I am. I shouldnt be PAYING for bad service.

I used to like it when I had the free but now that I'm subscribed it keeps lagging, it is slow and unreliable. I'm gonna cancel my subscription. I have good wifi and also 4G but it just gives me the circle of death! Constantly!! Dont waste your money, if u need it, I'd recommend going for the free option, that way at least u don't waste ur money

I normally like using Spotify, but recently it's been having some serious issues. It just randomly quilts out on me, the volume changes randomly in the middle of the song, some songs won't play until I open the app, and whether I'm on WiFi or using data, it has problems connecting. I have had premium for a while and it keeps telling me things are premium features. Worst of all, when I would drive and hit dead spots it used to have songs queued, now it won't even play when I have service.

Half the time it doesn't open or play music. It NEVER correctly identifies the network connection. There is a problem where the app says I discovered a premium feature but I've had premium for years. Now the app won't open. If I force stop and open it doesn't play any music. I finally got the app to work by clearing the cache. Something bad seems to be cached.

I don't understand why it's so hard to remove a song from your playlist. There should be an option in the menu bar to remove a playing song (if it's already added to the current playlist) but it only says add. Other than that, I am happy about the 3 month trial. I got a pop up add about getting premium despite me already signing up for it though (the trial).

I have never purchased a single app . Spotify had a promotion of giving away free Google home mini , so my friend subscribed for premium just for that but then never went back, he loved it and said "it's just magical I dont want to leave this u sud try" I was like I'm never going to give money for music which can be found for free on YT. But everything changed , this month spotify was giving 3 month free trial and I thought to give it a shot. Such great app with friendly ui awa fast download

In general it's no better or worse than all the others, but the upload function just puts the Spotify concept below average. Needing to upload the music as a playlist is strange enough, but then I have to download the playlist again to listen to it on my phone, which is plain stupid, then there's problems downloading the music (without explanation, it just "waits", on mobile and WiFi), and I'm not interested in the reason, either - I already have a job, and it's not Spotify-Whisperer.

App in theory is great. Sadly interface is not intuative. Badly laid out, a million sub menus to find stuff. Crashes often and forces you to re-downlaod you music. Downloaded stuff is hard to find. Music quality can be iffy. Great selection tho, and good suggestions. Will be deleting my accountand going else where sadly

Recent updates are unnecessary and have negatively affected my premium experience. App never works the first time I open it, says I have no network connection, forcing me to close the app and reopen it everytime I want to stream a podcast or song. It also starts playing random albums that have nothing to do with my taste in music, what's up with that? You guys have had a great app for a long time; stop trying to reinvent the wheel.

I have premium and have loved it until now. Suddenly it just quits playing randomly, no rhyme or reason. It is driving me nuts and I may end my subscription. Multiple times I have reinstalled the app, restarted my phone, checked all my settings, and looked on their community to discover I am not alone and no one has an answer or a fix. Frustrated. Annoyed. PO'd. 5 stars if it works. 0 stars if it takes my mpney and doesn't work.

So many issues right now. The app constantly says that I'm "offline," when I clearly am not. Happens when I'm on cellular data and wi-fi. Will constantly pause mid-song or when changing songs if I lock my phone or it goes dormant. This happens even if I have a song "downloaded." Hopefully a patch is coming soon or else I may have to look elsewhere for music.

Mostly good. Has the variety of songs but it's the most temperamental app I've ever used. On galaxy A50 sometimes it decides to search and show results other times it shows error or try again even though I'm connected to internet at all times. Sometimes closing the app and opening it again works. Sometimes doesn't. Please resolve this issue. I've just started my subscription and I have half a mind to switch to a much more reliable service. I love Spotify, but it doesn't work well with my Google Pixel 4. The app doesn't connect to the internet consistently when in the car (meaning you can't use it). However, all other apps on the phone can connect, so this means the problem is solely with Spotify. Didn't have this problem with my 4.5 year old S6, so I'm incredibly disappointed. I will be forced to stop my Premium subscription if this continues. I hope this gets fixed because I LOVE Spotify

Worked great for years, until a week ago. Now it logs me out, when I try to log in it says my PW is wrong (it's not.) Then, it sends me a link to log back, which is always "expired." When I finally do get on it now says I am "offline," (I'm not.)

I had tried a few of the music app out there on my Samsung Galaxy s9+ and I really liked everything about Spotify and had not had a problem with it until about 2 weeks ago.😒 While I am listening to music it suddenly pauses on it's own, which defeats the purpose of premium. I have Spotify running 247, as it is connected to all my bluetooth devices. I have logged off of all devices, made sure it was updated, turned off power save mode, and deleted and reinstalled the app. Nothing has work.

Spotify was amazing before the most recent update, I could have unlimited skips (I don't have premium) and the songs in my playlist were all there and I was able to listen to the full song when I pressed on it but now I can only hear a bit of the song. It's just inconvenient, it was most definitely 5 stars before but I'm going to have to give it 3 stars before just because of the update

Edit: How many more times will I have to uninstall and re-download everything?????? This has been the 4th time. Please FIX this. Painful user experience. Sucks that I can't even use it because it keeps logging me out and I can't log back in, so I have to uninstall and install again, and redownload everything, which is such a waste of time. I paid for premium for a reason. I love Spotify - if only it would work like it's supposed to!

Always says I'm offline. The past month has been a nonstop struggle with this app. It says I have no connection, when all my other apps connect. Even when I'm on wifi it barely works. And the best part is, support had been horrible. I have reinstalled this about 4 but unless they fix thi gs, there won't be a 5th. Sad thing is I use to give this 5 stars.

Recently, songs have been randomly stopping in the middle of tracks for no reason, even though I have connection. Then, when I open the app to play the song, spotify restarts and puts the song to the beginning. Please fix this issue, as I am having to use my skips when the song restarts. Other than that, the app is pretty good.

Okay, I love spotify and I have premium, but for the last couple months it has just been randomly stopping my music and will restart when I press power or actually press pause. It will restart after awhile on it's own, but that's anywhere from 2 seconds to 2 hours, it happens more often at night and when my phone has a low batter but it can happen at any point. Besides this glitch, I love spotify; but this is so annoying, I'm going to cancel my subscription. Would be 5 stars without this glitch.

I've been a premium user for over a year now. Despite having a massive selection of songs and artists, Spotify is riddled with usability issues. Specifically in any Android device with external storage (SD cards) there is an "option" to store the data in the SD card, but the app reverts it to internal storage seemingly random. I've been searching for a solution since forever, but it never gets solved! I've found Spotify community posts dating back to 2016 citing this issue, and still no solution

For the most part I am enjoying Spotify. However, it on occasion crashes and stops working properly and I babe to install and reinstall it to get it to start working again. That can be frustrating when I am trying to relax to music and then have to go into tech mode to fix the problem. They do have a good selection of artists I listen to and would recommend it but for my issue

The app keeps logging me out. And when I try to log in, it says I'm offline which is absurd because I am always connected to the internet. This started happening after I paid for a month of the premium package. It's very disappointing because I need to keep uninstalling the app and reinstalling it, which is annoying specially since the whole point of premium was to listen when I have limited internet. This app is amazing, I love it. Heres an issue I have. So, I'll be listening to music and then suddenly it doesnt play the next song so I have to go and press play. It isn't a huge deal but kinda bothers me. Now I'll talk about the positives. It's a great way to listen to anything and expand your music variety/taste. And I would like to suggest a thing that I think would be nice. What if we could take the podcasts we listen to and make a Playlist for them. So that way we can find them easier.

Crashes frequently. Downloaded music pauses frequently. App must be restarted frequently because it says no internet connection when there is. Running the latest version and poring over all the trouble shooting doesnt fix it. Used to be a great app until June 13 update and my artists are no longer saved in my library. Now they appear as recommended and I have to "follow" each artist to have them in my library. I don't want to be spammed with notifications about every band I sometimes listen to.

Pretty great app, but: 1) It increases my headphone volume to 50%, blasting my ears, whenever it feels like it. No other apps do this. It's definitely Spotify. I've reinstalled and cleared cache without any luck. 2) PLEASE add the option to add a playlist's contents to another playlist. It's ridiculous that I have to add each song manually or use the PC version.

I adore this app but lately its been giving me problems. Not playing my music, stopping when the screen locks, etc. But my biggest complaint, shuffle. Whenever i 'Shuffle' I get the same 20 songs everytime. Its never actually shuffled. There are songs in my list i haven't heard in so long because i only get the same songs. Idk if its just me or the app but I would like variety in the songs if I'm paying for it.

I want to support Spotify simply because they are a much smaller organization than Apple or Google but they need to work on this app. Each update seems to make it better in some ways and worse in others. The latest one made it load faster but now EVERY time I open the app it says it's downloading songs even though I haven't selected to download anything else...not sure what it's downloading. But the main issue is it will randomly stop playing in the middle of a song for no apparent reason.

Up until the last update I would have rated you 5⭐, but now it sucks and I'm having the same types of issues as other subscribers...."offline"..."no internet connection", which was rubbish. I have been a premium member for several years now and I have had zero complaings, but recently my music has been cutting out randomly and restarting my music. I have to go back into the app and start it again. This happens about once every 5 songs. Otherwise the app is working just as it has been for the time I've used it, perfectly.

Up until a few months ago I had no complaints. Now, music will randomly stop playing, everything takes FOREVER to load, says not connected to internet.. even though I am. Also, the app force closes quite frequently, and downloaded music will un-download itself - which defeats this features purpose. Not able to leave reviews on podcasts. Positives are that the layout is nice and it has a decent selection - have only came across a few songs that weren't avaliable. Please fix these issues asap...

might be the best and most used music streaming service but is missing simple features like deleting/clearing the recently played list or changing the username private sessions change back to normal after a certain time as well maybe allow multiple users/accounts like Netflix so it doesn't mess up your music recommendations or daily mixes when you have friends over listening to their own music

This app is "alright". Meaning: it's NOT what it could be. Search a singular song/genre/artist, Spotify's algorithm thinks that's the only thing you listen to. If you wish to hear a specific song, you have 2 options: hear 7 seconds of it or hope your patience lasts while you listen to everything under the sun and eventually get to it. Not sure if the "Premium" version works any differently or is it just "ad free"...

In agreement with other Samsung S8 users, very glitchy and slow. Sometimes open the app and it says there is no internet connection. It can occasionally take a long time for the app to load up and to use search function or open a playlist. Switching to podcasts seems to take a long time. Music sometimes pauses if the screen goes off. I'm not sure how it is possible the app has worsened in quality.

Stop playing from time to time. Looks like this issue started in November '19 or so. I've been using this app for over 3years. I have the same problem as Rachel( comment on 11.23) has facing. When it stops playing it doesn't continue from where it stoped, the app needs to be turned on again and the song starts from the beginning. It is quiet annoying. IT is UNACCEPTABLE FOR THE APP THAT CUSTOMER HAS A MONTHLY PAYMENT. Guys pls fix it ASAP.

It was nice to have a Spotify. I get to listen to my favorite song anytime I want. But I only have one major concern I'm on a premium but why is it that everytime I try to play music it just suddenly stops after three or for song I don't know if it's a bug or anything but it's too annoying when it happens. I hope you'll fix this soon enough. I like Spotify and I don't want get disappointed with the service.

I really like Spotify, it doesn't have the same easy to play appeal of Pandora but once you make personalized playlists you really start to enjoy this app. Spotify has way more content than any other so I've used. It has more artists, more a albums and exclusive content. This is the best app for music around. The only reason it gets 4 stars is because the billing is done a week early and it keeps intruding on your app until you pay. It's really annoying.

This is a good music app but there are better ones out there if you look hard enough, what's with the music on the end of my playlists I don't want to listen to them so I make a playlist and they are there before I want to play my music. This app can also be confusing to use i.e when I'm playing one artist and another completely different one comes up. It's just irritating to use and more of a nuisance to use so I am going to use s different app. Have a good day.

spotify is amazing it has almost anything you need. there are very little ads and you can skip almost whenever you need to. it lets you create playlists of around 10 songs. there is only one thing i request though customising your sleep timer. you can set a timer for when the thing you are playing stops. at the moment it has varying scales where you choose for the music to stop every 15 minutes. would it be possible to set a timer like you have on your phone so it stops any time you need. thanks

I love this app, but in the past few weeks the music keeps stopping whenever I lock my phone and at first it was fine if I just restart the app but now it's getting more frequent and nothing seems to help. Furthermore, it doesnt let me play podcasts on data anymore and doesnt even let me download or play if the wifi is weaker. Please fix this.

I've been using Spotify for years and have been a premium member for most of that time. However, I'm now cancelling my premium and going to a better application for music streaming, as for the past month or so I've been running into the same issue where EVERY time I open Spotify, on data, hotspotting or WiFi it tells me I have "no internet connection available" when I know for fact I do as other people can use the app on the same connection! Fix your app and I MIGHT come back!!!

So everything works well. However, my only issue is that whenever I open the app it always says 'No Internet Connection' and my data signal isnt the greatest in my area, but this the only app it does it with. I have to connect to wifi to get things started, then disconnect when I want to use my data plan. Still a great app though.

Similar to many reviews, spotify has been increasingly unreliable. Music stops randomly. The app sometimes disconnects completely. The 'no internet connection available' message pops up when there aren't wifi or 4G connectivity issues and it won't let me play my downloaded playlists. Earlier this week, spotify started on it's own. No one was within 2m of the phone and I don't share a home with ghosts. I've recently reinstalled it hoping the problems would go away. No such luck.

Good Service - Buggy App I moved from Pandora to Spotify because I found that Spotify prefers album versions of specific songs when I ask for them. The app, however, has a NASTY bug where you get a "No internet connection" error message on a very regular basis. This has been ongoing, and people are leaving for other services because of it. I'm a new subscriber, and it's making me furious. Spotify, are you paying attention? Fix this!!
