Reviews From google play store

Pretty awesome. Amazon Household integrates all the disparate accounts of my family members and allows everyone to be on the same page, media-wise, even if we can't all be in the same living room at the end of the day. We find though that it does tend to freeze during 2 specific instances; 1. Sometimes when there is a software update or patch it'll freeze up. To fix this we reinstall the app 2. When attached to blue tooth. Fixed by quick dis/re-connecting WiFi(phones only)

Pretty easy to navigate and lots of content. A couple things I don't like: If I'm scrolling through a category and click something, when I hit back I end up at the beginning of that list. Also, when you add a movie to your list it usually adds it several times, because there are different ways to watch it (e.g. Prime & IMDB).

The app performs inconsistently, sometimes allowing you to skip the intro, other times not so much. My biggest problem with sitcoms- your episodes are not in order. How am I watching what is clearly the season finale, and then have 2-3 episodes in the same season come afterwards? This was a glaring issue with both A Different World and The Nanny. Now I have to keep IMDB's episode guide open while I'm watching. Very inconvenient.

I only have it because I have the prime account for shopping. The menu is terrible, scrolling method makes me dizzy and sick, doesnt scroll well half the time, selection is miserable, prices are significantly higher than, say, redbox, and watching on a computer is miserable too. There just isn't any excuse by now for the terrible design or flaws. Oh, and you cant even rate the things you've watched without having to go to Amazon's website. Why wouldn't that be part of the app?

These need to be checked: subtitle delay (when video starts); app UI (esp. the awful drop-down menu for resuming content); content search and recommendation. Also, there is not a very wide collection of worth-watching content. Ideally, companies should strive on becoming better version of themselves, but I am sure imitating Netflix would do you more good.

Pleasantly surprised. I normally don't use apps as I detest having a cluttered home screen. I downloaded this app before my last plane trip & I have to say a month later I'm still using it. The streaming is smooth & the picture quality is great. It's very easy to use all around. This app now has a covenant spot on my phone!

The app is really good. I just wish it had episodes panel like Netflix in its video player. Maybe it's there and i missed it? Idk. If anyone can guide me. Otherwise it has some really good suggestions on movies and series. Have to say i like it better than Netflix for now. Ps: I'm a still a Netflix user. Just saying

The lack of separate profiles makes watching the same show for multiple people impossible, unless watching together ... I really wish I could separate my profile from my wife's and my children's as well. Almost all other streaming services have the ability to separate viewing profiles ... Why have you not followed suit? This is why I tend to watch Netflix or Hulu instead. Disney has profiles but they I have no idea how to play to that person's likes children's choices still within a grown man's

Trash. I live in the US. Sometimes I travel to the phillipines but prime videos won't play because region blocked BS. Netflix doesn't have this problem. Mind you that some videos are not regionally blocked but there is no good filter to only display viewable content. So again this is trash. Nevertheless you would think I could watch them because my customer geograph is in the USA and I'm only using it in private for my own viewing pleasure.

When I download an episode of a TV show, it would be nice to have something similar to what Netflix has like "Download more episodes". It is not clear that I have to click on the Title of the episode to be taken back to the Main Show Screen. I had to learn that by playing around. It would be nice if clicking the button took you back to the list of the episodes instead. When I am on a call I can not cast a video, the application thinks I'm trying to watch on mobile. Great appn otherwise

The streaming works great. No delays or long loading times like HBO on the Go. Great selection of movies and shows. U have the option to purchase almost any movie that's not available on Prime. Streaming quality is great. Also, u can subscribe to premium movie channels like HBO and Showtime, which is an awsome feature. You can say good bye to cable tv once you get this app. One other awsome feature is that you can look up all kinds of details about the movie such as cast, soundtrack and trivia.

I love Amazon Prime Video. It has a lot of stuff on it to watch. But really wish that you could watch everything prime or not prime without having to put Extra money into Movies and Shows that you want to watch. When you have already subscribed to the app, everything should be completely available without the hastle of paying more. If you have to pay extra, then it doesnt seem worth it.

Fine, but with video quality issues and pushy ads. They keep playing those ads at the beginning of every other video, and they are for stuff that I have absolutely no interest in or already have on my watchlist. And there is NO WAY to turn off these frustrating interruptions in a "premium" video service. Also, it is perfectly fine to take 10 or 15 seconds to buffer an ad in high quality, but even if I pause and wait at the beginning of an episode, I still get to sit through some 160p video.

Very good shows. Lots to choose from. But the app dsnt keep track of where I left off. And it takes me a bit to figure it out. Now this could be my wifi. Amazon prime could be to big for my wifi. Who knows. I'm still happy enough that I've cancelled netflix and have only this and u tube. Also I can never see the season and episode on my phone to see where I'm at. I use my phone as my remote control.

The were already way too many Amazon Original shows shoved onto the main interface to have to scroll through. The latest version has added ads before playing your videos. They're at least skippable but it's probably only a matter of time until that option is taken away. Why can't software just do its job instead of forcing us to put up with this stuff?

The interface is a lot worse than the competition. The interface language cannot be changed from the settings, so I changed the language settings of my account in the Amazon app but Prime video still doesn't match it. The audio and subtitle languages of shows cannot be chosen individually. Available language combinations are restricted by your location and the same show has a separate listing for dubbed and subtitled versions. Extremely user unfriendly.

Great app overall, but a few things that could be improved. 1. Allow for portrait viewing. In portrait mode you can respond to texts easily from the notification bar. 2. Watching progress is not saved when the app is left running in the background. So if you watch from 10:00 min to 15:00 and leave the app running in the background it will revert back to 10:00 min point when you try to resume.

Good overall. With problems, however., on Chromebook. (1) Sound intermittent when preview is showing. Sometimes a "no sound" condition carries over to the selected video. Quit and restart app usually resolves issue. (2) Pllayback using the app stutters when competing ith any other action outside the app. Displaying a web page, scrolling through mail, etc. Pretty consistently occurs but is always fleeting/temporary. When video content is accessed through a browser web page, no problems appear. Sound is fine. Playback is smooth and uninterrupted. I belileve these conditions ave come fairly recent to the app. PErhaps last 90-180 days or so.

Fix the browsing problem on all platforms. Every time you click on a movie to read the description or whatever and then hit the back button, it just puts you back to the top of the screen where your watchlist is no matter how far down you were or what category you were in or if you were in the middle of browsing a genre. Impossible to browse for anything.

Premium version has ads, ads and ads. It's an awful experience to click on your favourite show only to have a long advert pushed at you. Even the skip feature isn't working properly. If you're comparing to the other platforms like Netflix I would say avoid prime until they fix the watching experience, and don't part with your cash for a while. Playback quality is good. Works with Chromecast and others. Content in terms of shows has a few headliners.

Great that we have been given the ability to cast... Was going to get rid of the account otherwise. App should allow multiple profiles like other streaming apps.. Sometimes doesn't pick up from where it was left off sometimes forgets that I've seen entire episodes. Soo bloody annoying, but I'm not sure if that's the app or a Amazon prime issue.

It's a good app and I'm loving Amazon Prime Video so far but for some reason if you close the app and open it back up, it starts your series over or at a previously watched episode. Even if you click to see where you are at, it will show as if you've never watched any episode. Pretty annoying. Also, when using it on the TV, it doesnt show previously watched shows so you have to search what you're watching every time.

Decent player. The reviews should be expanded without having to use your browser to 'see more'. When watching a series and selecting zoom the player forgets the setting and each new episode I have to adjust. Some seasons of tv series are missing massive episodes in specific seasons. Also the autoplay only works for about 5 or 6 episodes then it takes you back to the series homepage. All of these things should be corrected or customized in the settings.

What's wrong with this app?? Its really a bad experience watching movies in prime. Sound is not at all good. Only for songs and fights sound comes high and during the rest of movie its like need to connect a headset to TV. Sound quality is very bad and it is not audible properly when the movie is going on. In order to listen if we increase the sound means during songs it is too high. Dont know how to handle this. Look after it

Doesn't track usage I love fantasy/science fiction and Amazon have way more of that than Netflix. For that reason I love Amazon prime. But what I hate is via my phone or tablet, it never remembers where I'm up to. If I stop watching halfway through an episode, it goes back to the start. If I'm watching a series, it shows I've watched half the first episode, when I've watched nearly the whole series on the same device. This is basic tech. Fix this or die.

Easily the worst app on my phone. It crashes and fails constantly and unlike most apps where force closing the app and relaunching it is sufficient to get it working again, I have to reboot my phone every time. Add to that the fact that even though I pay for prime I still have to pay extra for some series and films I can't recommend it at all. Stick with Netflix, or literally any other streaming service.

This app needs work!! Time after time I have have had videos lose sound. It happens sometimes when just starting to play the video and sometimes in the middle of them after I pause and start them again. It happens a lot now and needs to be fixed. I tried opening and closing, clearing cache, and restarting my phone and still happens. If that was fixed it would have more stars. Please fix the bugs!! I love this app and its a shame that it doesnt work right.

Fantastic, easy to use app! If not for the chronic reminders to upgrade channel line up etc I would easily have given 5 Stars. For example, LAW & ORDER SVU Seasons 7,8&9 are available...want more? Upgrade...VIKINGS?? Upgrade to STACK ...when I already have History channel. In closing, great app with great features - please remove stuff I cannot watch with my basic $8.99CDN monthly prime annoying!

Great when it works! Randomly, the app opens to your account, then tells you it can't sync the account and closes the app on accepting the alert. Amazon admits they have no clue why & acknowledge it happens, and that uninstall rarely solves it. They're default solution is "reset your tablet to factory". With over 300 apps and data installed, not an option. A level 2 tech had me clear data & then uninstall ALL Amazon related apps (inclVuDu). And delete android folders w/ amazon in the title.

Service: okay-ish, pretty good support across different platforms if needed Catalogue: some decent originals, too little choice in the non originals included in Prime App: the worst in the industry. Freezes, crashes, download errors, settings resetting, inability to download content when in a different country, download limits way too restrictive, autoplay not consistently working, even more crashes sometimes requiring a phone reboot between each episode. It needs a complete redesign.

Good basic streaming app. Unfortunately you can't do anything to skip the show introduction and the content is getting a bit outdated. Worst of all the content that I do enjoy usually gets converted to "pay for" which is highly frustrating especially if I can't find that content on any other streaming service. Overall the service runs cleanly for the most part. Just wish they'd stop removing good content.

this works great with my stick that I used to watch TV from my phone on my big screen. Problem I had I have Wi-Fi with no internet. Being able to download a few hours of TV shows from open network and then go home and watch him on TV is fantastic main reason I even keep Amazon Prime. It's smart enough to know that I do not have a internet connection and even though the Wi-Fi is connected it will still work through the cell phone data. Other apps would give me an error trying to use the Wi-Fi wi

I love the variety of new and old shows and movies. And some of the originals are great! My biggest issue is that every minute or so the video hesitates. Only for a second, but its so often! I've tried using data, wifi, and downloading but to no avail. Please, please fix this!

I LOVE using this video player! Why...cuz it works with my remote! I wish all video players allowed me to play/pause, fwd/rew (10 secs) USING THE DEDICATED BUTTONS ON MY REMOTE! (cord cutters are watching on their tv's too) YouTube and all the other video player should work as well as this does! Also like the fray would be better if it opened up the IMDB app when clicking on cast though as the Amazon content is lacking but it's a good start...keep improving.

Ok I have an Amazon prime account, so I make use of the prime video, but this app sucks. Every time you browse and push the back button it brings you all the way to the tippy top of the list , that is annoying as every curse word in the English language I can thing of. The next thing is while in said app browsing the movies by filter, for the love of god why are they not in alphabetical order????? Can someone explain that to me???? Navigation is shotty at best. Then you cant even find where you

Had to cancel because it doesn't let me sign in. Changed password many times but no help. Spoke with customer service, no help. Must be because I have a Google pixel 4. Let me now when you can fix this and I'll try again. But be sure it can work. I tried again to be a member but same thing, won't let me sign in no matter how many time I change my password. Stop asking me to pay to sign up, I didn't get to watch 1 minute of tv so I will never re sign

Gives you ads even tho you pay for it. The app on the phone is alright, no complaints really but the app on the PS4 is atrocious. Every other episode, the screen will freeze and the bottom will turn green. It fixes itself most of the time when I close and restart the app, but then 20 minutes later it happens again. You also cant resume an episode so you have to find where you were again, which is weird because you can on the phone app. Overall, not a very consistent app.

Netflix CAN prime CANNOT. Not using 21:9 ratio with notched display. Not using screen part surrounding the notch. I am using moto action one handset, and the problem with the app is a whole area containing the notch is remaining black, and the zoom is not filling that area. A Black area in bar form is there when playing video. The area is same as the widht of the notch. The 16:9 content is cropped to an unusuall and irritating ratio.

When it works its great. But I'm so frustrated with downloading shows. Getting on the plane and the downloads won't work unless I connect to the Internet briefly. Then when I get to the destination where I don't have Internet they uninstall. This trip I was half way through a downloaded series and it just stopped working. Deleted all of them and now I have to wait a month before I'm back to see the rest of it

The App is easy to use and there is a much bigger selection then Netflix. Moved to 4 star review as it now has cast screen option, Thanks. However there is one main things that bug's me. There is a lot of shows/film that you can buy or rent, this is highly frustrating as I am already paying a monthly subscription. Can you make a higher subscription (Β£2 extra) so the package covers everything? (no extra costs.)

I'm very upset with this ,I was extremely excited to finally have something to watch "supernatural" on ,even willing to pay to monthly just for this show alone, but this app does nothing but lag every few internet for everything else (Netflix, Disney+ ,ect) works perfectly.i had gotten rid of this app before ,waited a while to have it again until I had seen supernatural on it.months later ,same need to fix this,I'm not the first to complain, and not the first to uninstall!

Three main issues. 1) The quality is capped on mobile far below what is recommended for 1080p 2) Video availability differs by day, one movie or show that was there yesterday may not be there the next, and they all dissapear free from Prime Video if it appears on a different networks premium channel on Prime Video. 3) There is a bug where if you are listen to music via bluetooth headphones, then open or log out of Prime Video, it disconnects your headphones and blasts music out of your phone.

1) Why always suggest watching episode 1 of the season everytime I go to watch an episode? 2) If a show has foreign language in it, to see subtitles for those parts only and not the whole episode I have to turn subtitles on and then off, it then shows them for the non English bits for the rest of the episode. This has to be repeated every episode. 3)It doesn't remember where I'm up to in an episode if I stop and come back later, I always have search to find where I am up to.

While I have enjoyed Prime, I'm finding when watching on my tv, a lot of times the video will literally pause every 8-10 seconds. It'll freeze with the action still going on behind the frame, then come back on, so I am missing a LOT of the premise to the movie/show! (yes, I'm using high speed internet) Sadly, if this keeps up, I will have to cancel my subscription. Please repair this, Amazon!

So many choices! Hard to watch on the phone, but very clear. I don't have many problems watching, but always a message about data and slowness. Un limited data and plays fine. Sometimes a hesitation, or freeze, but happens with other services too. I will not pay to watch a movie and missed out on one I had for free, now charging. So many series shows I like just end and no follow up.

Difficult and awkward to browse and search. Often doesn't not save the play position when exiting the app, when attempting to resume it starts from the beginning of an episode or slips to the first episode in the newest season. Does not accept remote controls from a headset line other media players (play, pause etc). Tapping the search box puts the cursor at the start of any previous searches, meaning you need to manually move the cursor to the end to delete the search and then start typing.

Why is going on with subtitles! Can't even watch an American made show like Jack Ryan and count on the subtitles working for foreign languages. The only very bad solution seems to be to turn on closed captioning, but this sucks for viewing. And doesn't always translate everything.

Best I've ever used! With this app I can stream and download both movies and series, plus concerts and musicals. Allows you to buy and rent standard definition and high definition movies to watch on multiple devices, which I have done oh, so I know it works. What people don't realize is that if they are a student or low income in California and receive CalFresh, they get the special rate for Prime Video, so everybody can afford it. And no, have not been paid buy a work for Amazon. Lol I Love it!

So far my experience have been so great. One thing I think Amazon prime should at least do, is to make some movies cheaper to watch because we still pay monthly subscription.. If we pay monthly and we end up watching some movies for up to 3 to 4 euro each that's way to much. Ateast 70% of the movies on amazon should be free for us to watch. What we only have is 50% and to me, that's way too little. Apart from this, I see no issue with using Prime. Great service Amazon.

Easy user interface. Smooth scrolling of movie titles. Wide selection to choose from. Not only allow you to download movies and play offline but at the same time you can also watch the same title in any devices. Other streaming App, you have to delete or return the downloaded movie first before watching the movie on different screen. Best Quality dowloaded movie uses less than a gig of data. Highly recommended.

The video locks so the RW pause and FF buttons do not appear. That's been happening for 2 years. Well done. More recently when the app is sent to the background there's a video screen floating around in front of the apps you want to see. And there are 2 instances of it running. It's not intuitive to change this behavior.

I have had and continue to have a poor experience with The Amazon Prime App. Continuous streaming playback is non existent despite said mode having been selected in "settings". Video quality is poor despite "best" quality selected in "settings". Pathetic but not unexpected given Jeff Besos' business model of cheesey deals offered to it's customers penny by penny!!!.

Great app that's worth five stars, with one criticism: I only watch things included with Prime, so that's the option I choose in 'Ways to View'. However, every time I try to search for a different show or film, even within the same genre, the results show me everything available (including other subscription channels). So I have to go through it all again - narrowing the search to 'Prime only'). It can get quite frustrating.

This is such a poor app for streaming which is a shame as the shows are good. Unskippable ads for other shows I don't want to watch, video quality that suddenly just detoriates randomly even when mobile data or WiFi has full signal, no sync across devices so it won't remember where you are if you're half way through something on one device and resume on another, and no last watched on the home screen so you have to dig to find what you were watching just previously. Netflix have got it right.

Can't register devices through the app. Year 2020 and I can't register a new device via app. K can de-register. So I guess I'll just Chromecast to my TV from my phone. No Chromecast. Statesclick chromecast from home page. No Chromecast on homepage of app. Or when playing video. Yes my WiFi is on. Yes same wifi. So basically guess I'm just going to watch Netflix instead. Don't have a choice. Thanks Jeff.

I love this app but I have an issue with this app. I'm not able to watch a whole movie without it being freezed. It suddenly freezes in the middle of a film or a series and only audio could be heard and it blacks out. I'm really disappointed with this bug and please fix it as soon as possible. There are many bugs in this app. I would have given it 5 stars but I'm giving only three. Hope you fix it soon

I like all the features that I get for shows, but given that I already paid for Amazon prime I feel I should not be getting any advertisements during the free shows I watch. Otherwise I'll be giving it a much higher rating. Also I have found that the ability to play or pause by pushing a button with my headphones work sometimes but not all the time which is very frustrating for when I'm at work.

TV shows that I am watching are no longer available on prime. For example FX Justified. I was watching last night and today it's no longer available without purchasing. If I want to finish watching on prime, I have to pay $20 per season or subscribe to a new streaming service. If I have to subscribe to other services, not sure prime is worth the annual membership fee.

The only true pet peeve I have about this application and it is a BIG one. If I buy a video I don't see why I can't downloaded it to my notebook. Maybe I want to watch my video a screen bigger than a smartphone or tablet when I am on the go. I can understand if it is a video I am rented, but I bought it so....not seeing why I can't download it on any Amazon compatible device.

Was a 5 star until they removed half of the content and tried to force you into paying for stuff. At least have the option to hide all paid content. Plenty of other changes: no more rating system, you cant browse for similar shows, if you start watching season 2 of a tv show you have to constantly remind it you want to watch season 2 and not 1. Also there is now ads, thankfully they're for shows and not trying to sell you other stuff.

Overall i love the app. But on the TV when it updated the new features make it difficult to play episodes already watched from the beginning. Specifically Umi Zoomi. Before the option to "play from beginning" was easy to use. Now i have to physically rewind it. It no longer shows that option for specific episode. It will only provide that option for ep 1 of the selected season. No other episodes. Very frustrating

Rated 1 star because i hate to see a preview of another show before mine starts. It may only happen once in a while and maybe skipable but really Amazon? Its annoying. I'd understand if this were a free service, but its not. Also had to turn off notifications as this app gives me recommendations that i dont care for. Can u create a "lite" version for those of us who just want to view content without unnecessary rubbish? This is my least used of 3 streaming services. Possibly soon to be cancelled

I am a big fan of this application. The assortment promises varied content (in several Indic languages as well). At present, the only problem I am facing is that on my Samsung galaxy M30 s device, I need to tap the play button multiple times to get the movie started. The touchscreen is fine as the other media streaming apps are working great. Hoping that you will fix it in future updates.

Really unintuitive UI. There's no way to pick an episode from within the player like Netflix has. My advice to the team managing the development of the app would be to consult with their testers, and perhaps review application logs in beta testing to see most common functions. Additionally I don't think a service more expensive than Netflix has earned the right to throw ads in my face. Nobody in the history of ever has enjoyed ads on load.

Can complain about much on this app as far as prime itself its great too I just wish they could add Lavern&Sherlie, M*A*S*H, Three's Company, etc. That would be awesome. Then I'd probably give you a 6* or 7* on top of the 5*. Thank You for everything Prime Video. One more thing to add.. It would be nice to have a category for different decades like 70's 80's 90's you get what i'm saying. Thank You again

Excellent app! One of the smoothest and most reliable streaming apps in my "cable cut" line up. The x-ray service supported by IMDB keeps pretty much every detail of the cast, crew and storyline right at your fingertips. It answers all those questions that sometimes come up when you recognize even 2nd and 3rd tier actors from other movies or TV programs. It gets the details of the music and fun trivia about goofs, spoilers and interesting production information.

Great app. Only issue I have with it is if you have 4K Android TV it will only play in 4K and reasons why that's problem for me is if you have Internet Data Limited usage. One episode in 4K can eat a lot into the Data Limit and before the end of the month your Internet cut off as 4K stream eat into a lot of the limited data usage that is provided each month.

It gets the job done, but, could be better. Basically just copy Netflix's interface as best you can. For example, it should remember my place. (Like Netflix) I always have to scan thru to find where I left off. If ANYTHING happens on my device, a text, email, phone call, notification, it stops the app. (unlike Netflix). It pauses or freezes often. Real often. (Unlike Netflix) It can get annoying at times when you add all these thing up on a single watching experience.

I called Amazon and told them how on prime video my shows keep freezing up. The picture freezes and the sound keeps going. But they said it wasn't them. So I called my internet provider and asked them. I have the highest package they have for internet and there is nothing wrong with my internet. So again back to Amazon. What I have figured out from reading others posts I am not the only one who has this problem. The data is huge when using prime video and no way to turn down the data usage. Fix

I don't remember how I got duped into paying for this but this is the most expensive and worst video streaming app ever. I found a few things worth watching and tried to make the best of the remainder of this account but I can't even sit down without having to restart the feature, or the entire app most time, and the graphic bitrate is terrible. Wifi or wired, it's frustrating as hell. I won't be renewing my payment source.

I'm sure the app is fine for watching on the phone. But I Chromecast. And my TV doesn't play the audio. I know what the problem is, it's that my TV is receiving audio in a format my receiver can't play... But I can't set Amazon prime to stereo. So no sound for me. It's both Amazon and Google's fault. And before Amazon say "it's solely Google" you are wrong. Netflix allows me to select what audio I actually want... So balls in your court, amazon

Only show I really watch on here is House. They really only have a handful of good choices that come with prime, unless you're looking to pay extra for "more channels". If I didn't pay for prime shipping, I'd never use this streaming service. Get Sling tv, Hulu, Netflix, or literally any other streaming app.

Great content but the app is far inferior to any other streaming service. It cannot correctly keep track of what episode you have seen last to resume correctly, and when you lock the phone or minimize it takes a couple of seconds to resume. The redeeming feature is the control of streaming quality in the settings

Your goal should be efficient data use and seamless playing. I have a decent network but the app takes so much time to open an video And also while watching a series if I want to continue watching where I had left, it takes extra minute to load that into its memory. It sucks man

Amazon prime videos doesn't play in Full HD even if you have Widevine L1 support. Their technical expertise should know about your phone. I use Google Pixel 3a XL which does not support HD. You can check by going to settings and streaming quality. If it's 0.46GB/hr then your phone does not support HD playback.

It was a major step forward incorporating Chromecast, but there is still room for significant improvement with regards to "personalizing" individual account profiles/recommendations etc, but also being able to search the database according to genres/latest releases etc. It is not as seamless as a certain major competitor, industry leader. The price point is however very reasonable, even if content is significantly more limited to other provider(s).

I have just about all the movie apps and I use this one the most. The only downside is that you should be able to rent more new releases faster. It also only gives you the option to pay full price for a movie when one is released rather than let you rent it. Separate the rentals from the buys, allow the user to rent the movies as soon as they are released, and release more new movies faster. Improve these features and watch your stocks climb.

If you ever want to cancel your subscription, good freaken luck to you. Originally I loved this app but it has lost my enthusiasm. Anytime I looked for a show/movie I wanted to watch I had to pay EXTRA. Like don't even show me it if it ain't free!! I also was said not to see any real partnership with big named networks that I watch. Good for some but not for me. Please improve!!

Love this streaming source!! Prime Video offers the largest selection hands down. You have plenty of free options as a Prime member but plenty of pay options as well - i.e. new release movies, paid channels, etc. Amazon original series and movies, which again are part of Prime membership (so free if you are a member) are awarding winning themselves. There is something for everyone - my kids love it as well as my husband and I.It's a one stop shop for all of your video needs.

Absolutely love prime!!! There are so many benefits to having it, not just videos. You get benefits from The Amazon store, cheaper prices, free shipping, one day shipping. On prime video you can add specific channels for reasonable prices, purchase or rent movies, see free movies, take advantage of sales and so on.

The only issue I have is having to crop after each episode. It'd be nice if it remembered on your device. It'll do it in the middle of the episode if I pause it to long. Other than the annoying cropping issue it's a great app.

Shocking app, missing lots of shows that are "unavailable". Takes several emails for Amazon to fix problem by "updating my settings" - but a week later, same situation again. How can a company so big be a) so lax with ability to provide a working product or service and b) be so disinterested in customer service. I'm actually doing a disservice to shocking apps, apologies, it's a shambolic app in fairness. Don't reply on it

It works all the time! It has never froze on me (vs others). I love the programs and films available. It allows one to place films one wants to watch later in a wish list. It also allows one to download films if one belongs to Prime membership....nice for when I don't have internet access...

I am loving watching the TV series The Expanse. It comes clear on my cellphone and TV and my laptop. Very good experience putting what I last watched in a list for me and auto playing too. Very nice! I will definitely keep my Prime account alive. Just know, there is no show taking up the saga where Stargate SG-1, Stargate Atlantis and Stargate Universe left off. CBS has Trek Discovery, but I need more. So far, this show Expanse is doing it. There is no more Star Wars either. I have to have it!

Videos work fine. Player works OK. If I lock the screen while watching a video it does not start where I left off when I unlock. Maybe this is a feature but if so it should be consistent. Sometimes I have to go back through all the menus to find the video. Sometimes it is at the start page for the show and that's better. When I restart sometimes it has forgotten where I was. Inconsistent at best.

Getting incredibly sick of the little things with this app. Everytime i watch a show with a foreign language i have to turn on subtitles (apparently you are expected to speak fluent mandarin, russian and german to watch treadstone...) But then you take the next step and make me turn on the subtitles, every single episode. I can finish one episode, let it auto start the next and i still have to turn subtitles back on.

This app needs the option for "play back". Also, every time I put some thing into my "watch later" section I have to scroll all the way back down to the section I was in. That becomes very annoying. It would also help if the pause and rewind icons wheren't in the middle of the screen and at either the bottom or the top. Please and thank you.

After years of promises to get Chromecast support it has finally arrived. Unfortunately, auto play next episode does not work. No option to skip tv-show intros. And overall the interface is cluttered and horrible to scroll true, can never find what I’m looking for. Update: also when using it with chromecast there is no subtitles for foreign language parts. Update 2: why am I forced to watch testosterone abusing men every time I open the app?

I love the content on Amazon Prime -- WHEN I can find it. This is, hands down, the worst app ever created. There's no rhyme or reason to the layout, most content is hidden and I have searched for shows and movies by their exact names and STILL they don't show up in search results. They do break down by genres but show the same handful of options over and over. TUBI is free with ads and has a better app than this. There's just no excuse for such a shoddy app.

Amazon Prime Video is awesome. I love all the variety of TV, movies, etc. They have to choose from. And, like the fact that it's included with my Amazon Prime Account!! I've had No problems with freezing or stalling, it has ran very smoothly!! And I'm just using a Samsung Galaxy 7 (that has seen better, so I love that factor of how well it runs!! Great work Amazon!! πŸŒŸπŸŒŸπŸŒŸπŸŒŸπŸŒŸπŸ‘πŸ»βœŒ

Great selection and I love how there are different quality options. Would give 5 stars if the search and browse functions were more user friendly. When searching, if you look at something of interest, when you go back to your search it takes back to the top of the list instead of where you left off

Can't run with a VPN. REALLY. Pretty weak if you ask me. Never had any issues streaming on other services with VPN enabled. My entire network is on VPN so I have to stream on my mobile data plan only. Constantly loads vids/episodes I've already watched when phone screen is manually/or automatically turned off. For example; I'll be on episode 10 and it will always load episode 5. Also, the X-ray stuff could be improved for mobile. Besides those things it's got an ok selection.

Good selection of Amazon Prime complimentary movies and TV. Rental and purchase of others is reasonably priced. The app, if you are renting, gives you an extended time window to enjoy your videos. That allows you to connoisseur fine details of the plot as you "binge watch" your favorites several times over! ; ) Liked my subscription so much, I cancelled my Netflix and Hulu accounts! Why pay more when you can get better service?

Takes forever to load, if it even does on one tv, and I have to re register my other tv every time I try to watch something. And don't get me started on having to pay for two thirds of the stuff on prime after paying a monthly fee

I asked to pay again! I subscribed to Prime video, which works out to about $10 a month, similar to Netflix. Enjoyed a good tv series. But now, I just did a search for a series of movies and all 9 came up...and not one of them is available to me, unless I subscribe to *another* higher level of membership, at $13 a month. Also, where I used to see only the content of this Prime Video app, now I am shown a huge amount of content that is not "included in Prime." These are just ads!!

Whenever I click on a movie thumbnail and come back , Iam lead to the top of the list once again rather than where I left last,u can fix this.Reduction in the size of thumbnail and a grid view is what I suggest.Add journer filter inside the list rather than seperating movies even before choosing.

Works ok on the whole, although if casting to google chrome the UI can be a bit iffy (but at least it's possible now)! Not the easiest to navigate in terms of browsing, especially if your not searching for anything in particular, but just want to see what is available. Other than that, it's nice and responsive.

We love Prime videos, We use a Roku & also subscribe to Netflix for variety. The only thing that bugs us is that we're not able to quickly go backwards or forwards, it has a delay when you do, also it stops when it chooses to not when you hit pause on the remote. We know our Roku or remote is not the problem bc Netflix doesn't do these quirky things. There's a great selection of free movies that get rotated. Would love to see more western movies & old B&W classics.

In theory this would be a fantastic app, however, it constantly crashes, when you try to watch an episode or a movie it frequently buffers and the video quality...well let's just say I would rather have excruciating diarrhoea than attempt to sit through an entire 20 minute episode with the quality that this app offers. The only way I have found that works is to download the video in the highest quality possible and then watch it but I really don't want to have to do that every time.

Just installed app. Opened it up to be told there is no data connection!! My phone has both working WiFi and Mobile data. I can watch, Google, stream or any other combinations. I can even watch AP via the web site, so what's the problem with this app telling me I have no data connection? Strangely, I've just tried again and it's working. Was it because I went to the AP web site and signed in to view movies or what? Needs looking into by the developer.
