This has been by far the most finicky video playback app I have ever used. At least half the time, when I click into a show or movie, all I get is a black screen. I hear the audio but no picture. Refreshing app doesn't even help. Like, lemme watch Grand Tour! That's one half of the entire experience and it just... isn't there? Hitting the "Skip Intro" button scuffs the audio and puts it on a few second delay, forcing me to restart the show. Then issue #1 takes over again.

I can navigate the app quite easily. Contents are clear. Prices are in bold. There are a multitude of great tv shows and movies. However, mark items for my watchlist, but can't find them on a watchlist. There should be an icon for "watchlist" on the home screen to readily access the items you've saved for later. Maybe I need a tutorial. Also, the watchlist has no option for individual family members to keep separate watchlists, that I find. Thanks.

Wow, this app sucks. It blows my mind that it's a paid service. It buffers indefinitely about 90% of the time, when it does work it still sucks. There are very few functions in the app yet it disables all remote functions but pause and play. I feel like I'm in the mid 80s with a video cassette, just trying to skip back a minute. Get it together Amazon. You need to try harder.

Love it. Especially being able to download movies for offline watching at later date. Handy when you live in the north country, where being offline is a way of life. Great selection. I wanted to watch it on my laptop, but I after I paid for the subscription I was unable to watch it on my laptop, because there are different subscriptions. Who told that? I highly do not recommend prime video. It's disappointing. I was said 3 euros per month I was charged 229 rubles, 10% more. I'm dissatisfied. Amazon must be more customer's oriented not only for profit

A good app with a great selection, but it's such a pain to try and pick through what's free and what you have to pay extra for. Feels like they are trying to make you pay by getting you excited to find something, then realising it's an extra three quid but it's too late because you already got your hopes up to watch it so you'll just pay it. Maybe I'm being cynical but...

I like downloading vids to watch on the plane. The app is good for watching stuff you already put in the list. It would be better if you could review past views and get suggestions based on what you reviewed. Most of the time I see the same stuff I have already passed on Amazon suggestion to view. I would like to screen out the shows with violence and bad language.

Great selection of films (not quite as good as netflix yet) but the app is made awfully. Subtitles always go out of sync, the app crashes a lot, and has many more bugs including endless problems with downloaded videos corrupting. Also the resume watching feature would be good if it works but it always takes me to episodes previously watched rather than the one that I am halfway through so I have to scroll and find the one that I am looking for. This app has a long way to go but has potential.

Great app with a lot of TV shows. It would be great to have some more up to date movies as well but so far not many great movies. I used to have problems with downloading the episodes home, as I play them at work where there is no Internet and I can watch them offline. It used to take ages to download. I got advice from Prime to uninstall and reinstall the app and to my surprise that actually worked and now it works great. 5 stars ✨ for the TV Shows, please, get some better movies as well.

Decent app, does what you need it to. Got the whole second screen deal going on. Only issue i have, very minor, is that if i want to rewatch an episode of a show i like the player doesnt seem to like replying them, as the episode is shown as at the end of the episode it will normally play the last two seconds of the credits and the auto play the next episode. Its no drama as i just play the episode before the one i want but its a bit odd

So much more than I ever expected!!!! I really wasn't sure that I wanted/needed this app... I was already using Hulu and Netflix. Yet, I wanted to watch a new show they had coming out called "The Boys", and it only played on Amazon Prime. After getting the service I was blown away with the selection of shows and movies, as well as Original Programming! Do yourself a favor... GET THIS APP!!!!!

I love and hate this app, I love the shows and verity, but utterly hate clicking on something to watch only to find out I have to pay more, to rent or upgrade subscription. If I'm paying for basic I expect to only see the basic so I'm not wasting my time with all the movies/shows I cannot watch. Needs better filters that completely remove what I dont have access to.

Fantastic! Works the way you would expect. Easy to navigate. My favorite feature is that when you hit the home button on your phone, the video screen shrinks down and keeps playing whatever you were watching so you can text or look something up online etc and still be able to watch your show. It's excellent!

*Dear your mobile app is good. It provides many option to control the video quality. It helps us in saving our mobile data and enable us to watch more contants. But you ANDROID TV app is very bad. We are not able to watch even a movie even We have 2GB data pack. There is not any option to control the video quality that why it starts streaming on FULL HD consuming our 2GB data in just 70 to 80 minutes. It's a good app, amazing original content but my problem with the app is the difference between the USA version and south american version not just talking in the lot of difference in content, too the architecture of the app, i studied this app for a unuversity project and a lot of changes can be done to offer a better user experience, very nice app, but it could br a lot better with some changes.

Was working fine, if not excellent until two weeks ago. Suddenly, after that, all downloaded videos started stuttering. And the playback was not smooth. Unwatchable due to the quality of streaming. I tried deleting the downloaded videos and downloaded them again, but to no avail.

Video quality is very bad, it is not very clear. You can just watch but can't feel the contents. 40 minutes video cosume 350 mb of data in highest Quality must have to be improved. The sound is very low in many web series ,in full sound i am not able to listen properly and my ears are absolutely normal.

The app need many improvements , first of all at least give us a button to turn off the cast /song names which shows up while playing a movie or series . Its irritating. And give us a double tap gesture to skip 10 sec or more (so next time we dont have to click once first to open the skip menu and then press the button ).

Worst app out there. Frequently use Netflix, Google Play, HBO and never have issues with those. Amazon Play just don't work. After spending almost an hour trying to cast the freaking movie I paid for I might just give up as there is no customer service. I'm very much looking forward to never buy or rent a movie on this app/service again. Do better people.

This app is really.... Fine, from a company as big as amazon you'd expect a better range of movies to select from but there aren't any famous movies like 'The last song' and 'The notebook' etc. The season updates take a long time for, for example take Legacies the whole season 2 is up on 'The CW' app but not on amazon prime video.

I've enjoyed this app on my iPad for years, but I have a new android tablet, and I am disappointed with the app for android devices! Video does not play unless I first download the content. I don't particularly want to download every video that I watch. All I get is interrupted sound.

I've tried and suffered through 6 other free movie apps that start and stop frequently (often spending 3 hours to get thru an hour and a half movie on my android phone. With prime I don't have any stoppage (so far - 2 weeks). It is excellent 6 stars! Try it. It's been more than 3 months since my initial "6 star" rating... so I thought that an update would be appropriate; NO CHANGE!

Much better than Netflix. So many movies and TV shows to watch. You can also subscribe to add-on channels like HBO and Showtime. With channels, you can tailor your streaming experience to your own taste. I love to watch foreign movies and TV series from Russia, China and Korea in addition to regular English language contents. There is a free ad-supported channel called IMDB TV channel and I enjoyed watching Dominion on that channel. I wish there were Asian channels like Viki or Drama Fever, too.

I used to really really love Amazon prime! But now I don't know why whenever I try to open a video it shows a "digital rights error" and asks me to go to the plug-in settings. I do it and I see that it's completely alright and it is set to "activate always" mode. But still it just doesn't allow me to watch any video!! This is not right and I want it to be fixed ASAP!!

Until recently I would have given 4 or 5 star. Problem is that since last few days, videos freeze, go black but play audio, play for 10 seconds, then freeze again. The only way the app works is if I cast to my TV using chromecast. That works 100% but on mobile data or wifi, on Android phone, app no longer works. I installed on my iPhone and it works fine still so there seems to be a bug with the android phone. Hope it is fixed soon so I can change my star rating back.

Service has some amazing shows and movies that I really like and the app doesn't force my awareness of their own stuff as much as Netflix does. There are a couple minor issues, like some of the UI can be a little counter intuitive, and you can only save specific seasons of shows to a watchlist and not the show itself. Also, if there was a Smart Download function, like on the Netflix app, it would make the whole process of downloading stuff much more bareable. Still love the app warts and all

I am using this app from 1 year and I can say it has some of the best movies and shows but its search option should be either get updated or should be removed. From I starting I am seeing everytime I search anything on search bar it doesn't appear there even if it is available on prime. And when I go in list and read every name and start searching there one by one then I find that movie or show somewhere in list It seems like search option is here just for show.

Wonderful. The content it has continues to improve and has a variety. It has shows and movies for the entire family. I found the categories and suggestions accurate. It is easy to navigate. Any subscriptions are easy to trial, sign up for, and cancel if you so choose.

Better than I was led to believe. I'm now using it daily and have yet to encounter any problems. I'm a few month in now, 1st problem. had downloaded a full season of a programme I'd been following for a few seasons, only to find I couldn't carry on watching it as it had been taken off the watch for free list ( bare in mind I've already paid a full years subscription up front). so reducing by one star. If for any reason I have to take another star away, I will be leaving.

I like prime but I do wish that it was a bit more user friendly. It is by far the worst experience by far trying to search for content in comparison to other streaming apps to me. I hate finding something i want to watch after spending so much time searching and realise it needs a subscription. Separating material leaves you with a bare minimum of options. I keep prime because of the shopping and occasional i do find really good things to watch without a long search.

Had it not been for the poor app experience, I would have given 5 stars for its amazing content. However its very difficult to watch video online if you are connected to a wifi network. No matter how strong your connection is, it always say poor network connection. On mobile network it works fine. Secondly downloads get stuck on 99% sometimes.

Hate having to see advertisements each time I open the app and whenever I go to watch something, I'm already a paying customer. It also consistently shows me episodes that I've already watched when I go to resume a series. The skip intro button is also missing most of the time. Got a long way to go before it's competing with Netflix's offering.

The casting option for the Chromecast doesn't work very well. Sometimes the icon just disappears, sometimes it's there but when you go for the "cast" option, it shows as if it's already casting while it is not. But, the thing that bothers me the most (which is for the service itself) is: why with the series I get to chose between my language and original language while for the movies I only get my mother language? I like to watch them in their original language because I enjoy them better.

Now apart from average content and below par market acquisition, the application is just a ticking time loop. At times it feels liie it's playing games with you, and not the funny ones. Various titles would go "unavailable" in a span of an hour and some would even go missing. The UI could be worked on although there are a lot of things that need to be addressed.

Its a pain to use, as it is not easy to see what is included in prime or what you can rent/buy. It would be good to have 2 separate sections of the app as it is annoying with how it is at the moment, with it all of them mixed together. The app also lacks speed when loading compared to other streaming apps. Personally as the app is at the moment means I will use other streaming apps more, even though the information accessibility when the film/series is playing is good compared to other apps.

From a company like Amazon, this should be a lot better. Doesn't autoplay episodes in TV shows, doesn't allow to navigate back to the list from watching something. Very basic stuff. And the most annoying thing is that shows that have been downloaded in the US cannot be watched while traveling abroad as they become "unavailable in your country". Pretty useless.

Nothing to compare with the Netflix app. The movie's that I stop watching and want to watch later is very difficult to find. There is no option to filter for English language movies. Genre filter is very limited. There is a lot more to improve when compared to Netflix.

Video quality is good but the UI navigation and settings need improvements. I dislike how the parental PIN input works - there are 5 text boxes which makes input a hassle. It'd be nice to allow fingerprint authorization for content on Android like iPhone has face ID. I've also found downloading shows and movies over LTE to not always work, even with full signal and settings enabled to download over mobile dat It works okay overall, but I expect a better user experience from Amazon.

I love the shows, but the useability is horrendous. After you've watched a show once it refuses to keep up with where you were and switching between my pc and this app usually means a reset on that too. It also randomly puts episodes as watched on shows I've seen maybe 3 episodes off, which is a real turnoff.

I like the selection of content, there are loads of movies to choose from, with something for everyone. The Xray feature gives very interesting info on the programme you're watching, and in particular I appreciate the fact that subtitles are available, which is so so helpful for when you can't catch what's being said. Now with more boxsets to choose from, which has made this a highly enjoyable app, 5 ☆☆☆☆☆ from me!

Now the Chromecast connectivity had improved , but still there is sometime disconnect will happen . Looking for update . Below one was my old comment : Good one ! There is some problem with Google cast with this app , it will get struck in between when Google cast is being used . Please resolve this in the next update , otherwise I am going to uninstall this app !!

It's great. Got me to watch Parks and Rec (Netflix doesn't have it in my country) and The Office top to bottom, and I love that this thing is encouraging my Neil Gaiman obsession. One thing I don't appreciate however is getting autoplaying ads to their other shows even though I'm a paying member. And uh, football shows?... Okay, I guess. Nice of you to try and guess what I like based on a stereotype. Well, I hope that's not it. But hey. Still tons of love. X-ray and trivia things are great!

Love the selection of films and TV shows but the menus need to be more personal to me. Like have the main thread of films as my favourites and bookmark them to the top of the screen rather than going through different menus. A more easily accessible favourites option would be great too. Also learn what I watch and offer suggestions instead of showing sports which I don't watch on the main screen.

I loved this app as I was able to watch movies and TV shows that I had bought, along with the general prime TV and movies. Since the new update I can no longer watch the movies I have bought! I'm not very impressed as had I had of known I would not have updated the app. Luckily I can still view the movies on my laptop.

Its one of my favorites. It gives you information on characters as the appear in scene when casting from your from your phone. However it gets expensive. You have to sign up to individual subscriptions to watch shows on different networks. Hulu does the same thing but you can enjoy Hulu without the add-ons. You cannot enjoy Amazon video without the add-ons. Plus you still have to buy or rent movies. I love it but only to watch a couple shows for a month then quit the subscription.

For video streaming this app is kind of a pain. It frequently drops the connection or loses its spot in the video where other apps don't. Then it'll boot you back to the selection screen. Sometimes I'll have to go back a few times before itll let me stream again. It also generates two windows for some reason? One being the watch screen and the other the selection menu screen, which seems unneccessary. Content wise, I would say I use Prime less than other streaming Apps-finding less of interest.

Prime video is not working properly. Keeps telling me can't watch video, on any I select. Also selected and re-installed app and still having same problem. I can't register my device because it is still remembering old app info. That's one of the problem to view any videos! How can I register my device on Prime Video, when I go to register my device, it is still saying it is deregistered?

I love this service but it is clunky compared to Netflix. Its not as easy to use and or difficult to get back into the show you were watching or even the season if you pause or let your phone screen time out. With Netflix if your screen times out it starts right up in the show you were watching when you turn back on your screen. Not so much with Amazon Video. Also with Netflix there is a continue to watch section keeping track of what you were watching. Not so with Amazon video.

I used prime membership for almost a month and it was all the time needed to experience When you start using it you will find that some show and movies are not available. So this are things that i feels amazon prime video should fix. 1. Improve search option or search alogrithm 2. Add playback speed option to increase the speed 3. Add protriat mode for view video 4. Toggle between different video quality 5. Add missing episode and seasons of some shows 6. Allow sliding subtitle up and down.

Its a great app. It would get 5 stars, but most of the really good movies, kid and adult genre's, are in french only! And they are English made movies. So if that could be fixed, I'd give it 5 stars for sure! The selections are amazing. Great range. But please...offer all movies in English!!

Search filters are hopeless. And you don't get proper category sections. Any movie you search, most of the time you get results which is irrelevant to what you have searched for, unless it is exact words or complete name. It just shows the new series or shows for any searches. Also, prime has been removing many popular movies over the time from its app which is very disappointing. If the app doesn't have a movie, why it is appearing in top search suggestion and showing different results.

Excellent app. Not much to complain or brag about. Does what it says with plentiful information on the shows you select. It does need a bigger and better vast of shows like Netflix and other competing streaming services. You get what you pay for. Well done Amazon.

I love prime video, one because it's included in your amazon prime. they have some wonderful original show's, and Movies. I also have my starz, HBO, and showtime through the app... Which makes it even better. The second reason I love it is because I have so many devices connected to it at once, without having to pay anything extra. my childrens tablets, my Tv's my ipad. Also because I know amazon is a huge company that's always going to be around... I've even started building my video library.

Freezes my device while streaming. When it does work after streaming it makes all thumbnails disappear. I wish there was a way to pay for the quality of service instead of full price. Also please make a plan that excludes Amazon 2 day shipping, I have no use for it and it's an extra fee I'd rather not pay for.

I download episodes and movies onto my 128 GB SD card in my phone to watch in non-wifi areas to avoid using data. I was given the option of storing the download on internal or external storage. It is easy and works well. I haven't had any issues with this app.

My son loves Pete the cat, my Wife and I love being able to watch True Blood, and I myself love all the old Robert Stack Unsolved mysteries series. The Boys was pretty good too, lots of great original programming and plenty of great classic ones too. Being a prime member is Soo totally worth the 15 bucks a month you pay for it. I've been a prime member for over 2 years now and I will probably be one for life. Thank you Amazon!

The amount and quality of the content is fine, though maybe not spectacular, and that's certainly getting better as time goes on. The app itself doesn't really go out of its way to make your experience good, but it's not a complete disaster either. Update: Chromecast support has FINALLY been added, so I've upped my rating. The interface could still use some improvements but I no longer have any major complaints.

👎You better remember the time stamp that your show left off at because the app never starts at the correct spot. If we close out in the middle of a episode when we return it starts over, even after multiple updates, pretty lame. We also have to reconnect constantly. It sucks down the battery quite badly and Other little bugs. On top of paying and still having Amazons commercials. Does not work well on Chromecast. Please fix, thank you.

I like the app overall. My only issue is that I have tried and tried and I am unable to leave reviews for the content that I have watched. I have looked in settings, I have clicked on the overall review, NOTHING. It's kinda irritating. If you dont wish to review your content, then there are no issues. 4k is provided, and you have the options to rent/buy and download.

Good app but with tremendous need for improvement in one particular aspect. Please improve the search engine because it throws up a LOT of unrelated results which are no way related to the keyword input on search. When i search "avengers", first result is "batman vs superman" and second result is "the real sherlock holmes"?!! The sixth result was the first related result in fact. Only related results should show and nothing unrelated. Please improve it urgently.

Overall experience is good. I'd like to watch videos in portrait mode, pls make that happen. Academy award winning movies like "scent of a woman" should be made available. While watching series sometimes due to its slow storyline we really get bored, It would be amazing if we can increase the speed of the video like 1x25 etc.

App is user friendly. It designed well. I found few cons it. Search engine is not up to the mark. Some time's it is searching for irrelevant stuff. And also few more customized options can be added in the video player. For example forward and backward length of video is 10sec by default. User do not have option to customize it.

It works smoothly and predtictably. Good layout of options. It is nice to have a choice of video file size/quality to choose from. Some video files do not need high bit rates e.g lectures on amazon great courses. No bugs on video playback. I don't if HDR (e.g HLG variant) is supported. If not, then I expect it will be in future.

For some reason a few seemingly random videos have audio description on and I can't turn it off. I downloaded it to watch Good Omens and now I can't use the app without everything being described constantly. Every time I try turning it off in the menu the audio settings just don't exist on my phone. It's so confusing and irritating when I'm paying for prime in the first place.

I like this app but please end your petty squabble with Google and add Chromecast already. I realize this is a first world problem here but it's so annoying to have to plug in or switch to a different system to watch videos from this app. Honestly, it decreases my use of the app greatly. Can't we all just be friends, megalomaniacal tech companies?

Still don't know how all this works yet!? Hulu needs more movies to pick from and, it's hard to watch all of the episodes of The first 48! I do enjoy the new Hulu movie called Castle Rock! I re-subscribe this month hoping that I'll discover more movies and shows for me and my wife! There's just not a very big selection to pick from or I'm doing something wrong?

The app it self is great, but as a prime member you can only watch prime movie. If i want to watch an HBO, Starz or other subscription movies i have to subscribe an new movies you have to buy. I know I'm complaining, but there are alot of movies and doc's to watch. I just wish i could watch any movie or doc i wanted, even if i had to pay more a month, i would because it would be worth it. Also when i buy a movie i can't download directly to my phone am i missing something.

Amazon prime video is very complicated. For instance, if you want to watch the TV show NCIS, the season are not together. They are just mixed in with other TV shows and if you want to watch a few episodes in a row you have to choose each episode to play it just won't continuely play like it does on Netflix, which is a user friendly app. Also, the app on my phone works differently than the one on my phone. Only the old outdated movies are free and the the same with the TV shows. Very dissapointe

Good app and at a good price. The only issues I have is that you cannot easily filter by genre... I also don't like the constant pushing of their other, paid channels on you. It feels like more than 50% of the movies and shows you see on the homepage are on paid channels. You click on something that looks interesting only to find out it's not available through your normal subscription...

The app is visually good but in terms of downloads is still a bit problematic, it needs to have an improvement in terms of subtitles, by some reason in Portuguese the downloads come dubbed in Brazilian (Portuguese and Brazilian are in fact different), it should give us the possibility to download it subtitled. In streaming works really well

Not going to lie, it's very buggy. When tapping the screen during playback the crop/stretch button decides to show/hide whenever it wants; the zoom feature doesn't work half the time. Also would like the option to show video on the full screen - including the notch area (galaxy S10)

The Samsung TV app I have does not give me an option to choose a lower resolution setting my TV is a UHD tv;so it appears as if the app on the TV checks the TV resolution and whatever the max resolution available is selects that as default; so because I don't have uncapped Internet the TV app uses super data usage. Now I've downloaded the app and I'm screen mirroring from my Samsung Galaxy S9plus to the Samsung UHD to keep data costs low. Because the mobile app gives you the resolution options.

Prime has really come a long way, what started as a great deal for free shipping has turned into my preferred streaming option next to Netflix. They are steadily improving the content library and the unlimited music ( for just a few bucks more ) has made my entertainment experience well worth the buck. Keep up the good work, Amazon has really solidly placed themselves in excellent position to be a major player in the streaming war for years to come.

What I like about this app; I press a button and I am ready to watch videos. What I truly hate about this app; NONE of the movies or TV shows that I have slready purchased appear on the list of videos I can watch. There should be a tab or button I can press sych thst the ONLY videos listed on my screen are tge ones I have purchased. You could call it "Your Video Library." Is that too much to ask?

I love this app it's great , only thing I would change, is having the ability to rate the movies with a thumbs up like netflix , that way you know what you already watched , and i don't understand why , someof the old , i mesn r old moviesyou have to rent or buy , if u want to watch them , those ones , i watch for free on Netflix , sorry , but if they were free on prome I'd watchthem there. !!!!

Bad UI. Even worst playback. It almost never remembers which episode I watch last. Now when I have to search for the most recent episode I watched, I have to go through 6 different trailers I am not even interested in! Whoever idea it was to put a trailer before EVERY new episode. You are reaching the core of the capitalism.

I enjoy using prime video - the main issue i have with the app (on Samsung phone and tablet) is that if you change apps for even the briefest time, when you come back to prime video, suddenly my device is offline. So for example, if I'm in prime video, get a text and go onto my messaging app and then come back to prime video, it says "no network connection" on the video I was watching and then "your device is offline" on the app. It's a really inconvenient bug & I'd be grateful if it were fixed

This app is awful, not sure why they bother having one. It's very slow, takes forever movies or shows to start IF you can find anything worth watching. Not a big selection. I find myself using it less and less. Free streaming apps on Roku have much better selections and aren't slow to load. You would think with the money Amazon makes they would spend some of it on improving Prime.

Their app sucks. You can't cast a video to your TV if your on your phone. When you try to contact customer service the screen goes black. I was attempting to ask them to put on some decent halloween/horror movies from the late 1980s to the early 2000s. From things like Freddy & Michael Myers to Halloweentown & Twitches. It seems like everything from my generation is "Buy/Rent" (eventhough we already pay for prime)I guess it's because my generation is the one working their butts off for the money.

Getting better for tennis but it's still really difficult to find what's on when without going to another app. Even then it's irritating to keep digging around to find the live match. Once it's going, provided broadband stays up, it's ok except for the irritating clever tennis clichés used by some of the commentators. I have been involved in tennis for many years and have no idea what some phrases mean. What is shape on the ball? Does it go square when some players hit it? Others but no space!

I am loving some of the older movies and series I've found. It's frustrating though to have such a huge amount of content unavailable, or subscription only. And I'd consider subscribing, but there's so many different ones... Can't afford to subscribe to everything. Certainly playable content should be the first thing that appears at the top of a search at the least!

app wont work on tablet or chromebook. Every time i try to watch a movie it freezes and the screen goes black, then i have to restart. if i try to open app again movie will stutter and repeat. Google Chrome browser - no problems. I'm really disapointed, this is the thrid time this has happened. OR EVERY time ive attempted to use it. whats the point of having an app you cant use?

Amazon is good. This app not so much. This app sucks. On my settings i have to either wifi or mobile data to run at best quality. My signal is always 100mbps on my mobile data where i live. And my home internet is 600mbps. Still every show shows in 240p or 360p. Its badddd quality. Only on my tv or computer looks good but on my note 8, note 10 and galaxy s10 looks really bad

so far so good, i cant give too much opinion to compare with netflix and the like for online stream/view/watching tv but it has it all its to early. How its designed to be interacted with differs from Ntflx. I'm liking it as it feels refreshing as this seems non age aim demographically generated i like it, ie Ntflx seem gender fluid (Gf) shows with scripts designed for teni-boppers, the main direction it's designed to capture, the youth but AMAZON PRIME has no set viewer demographics.

You can now cast to a Chromecast, but the episode you're on won't start where you left off in the app at all. You have to start from the beginning of whatever episode you were on, and if you're watching on, say, the IMDb channel, there's ads to get through before you start the episode and then after you try to find where you were. It pretty much makes the app unusuable.

Just awful experience. It shouldn't be this hard for multi billion corporation to put together some ideas to make app more intuitive. 1. When scrolling through list of movies and click on film to read more, when hit back button it should really leave you where you left off so you can keep scrolling. 2. Should 4k films really be in a separate catagory? If film available in 4k/uhd maybe just have that as an option under more purchase options? These should still be in your 4k catagory as search!

Enjoying the application very much and advice all to download it to have a good time. Now it's for the developers to address this ( there is problem with registration that the card is not registering when tried to and the charger is little too high for a single person to pay every month I hope you guys will consider some trimming on the payments that it can get accessable to every person even with there budget problem)

Give us multiple options to adjust screen size of video as given in MX player for mobile platforms, there is only one option of zoom out but it takes too much border area of original videos. Also please provide the feature of adjusting the speed of video. Otherwise the app is very good.

I've used each and every online streaming platforms, This is by far the most deserving and accurate to people's choice. Keep up the good work. Just one suggestion a little enhance required on movies available on the platform. Provide IMDB rating to each movie. If a movie has less than 5 IMDB points avoid it to add on the platform.

I constantly have connectivity issues. Slow/buffering playback, bad quality, audio not being synced to visuals and it will give me a variety of different errors saying I have no wifi when I do. All of my other apps load, but not prime video, even after I turn my phone off and on again. Devs please fix!!! With the amount of money Amazon is raking in it seems someone could sort this out! Never had these issues with Netflix/YouTube/other vid apps

Everything is great except price on rental/ purchasing movie/tv show. TV shows/movies are overpriced. We buy movies instead of renting cause renting is so close to buying the movies. Buying the tv series is way cheaper than buying per episode. I think they need to set it up to where if you rent or buy an episode within the last three to four days you can purchase the movie at a discount price. Not saying that they have to give you it at a huge discount but atleast a few dollars.

Suffers from similar problems to Netflix and others which is that by insisting on showing you recommended content it means that you'll never really know what you actually have access to. This is made worse by mixing in paid for content with the content available on Prime. In some instances movies are marked available with prime but turn out to be rent or buy only when you click through (see True Grit). Unforgivably the app has (skipable) pre-roll ads for Amazon's content. Honestly, feels scammy.

Well app is good but quality of like resolution is not HD as I'm using Redmi K20 Pro which is HDR supported but but content doesn't seem sharp even in highest Video settings & there are some shows like supergirl , flash , The Good doctor , game of thrones , Big bang theory etc , not available which is kinda underwhelming .( ̄ヘ ̄;)

Functional problems with app. I can tell you this app has never been tested and VOC never done. the search is hopeless. The sections are intermixed. The indexing is incorrect. Mr Bezos you want to compete in media and amazon prime video seems like a store with all items mixed around. I thought amazon is a company that excelled in search and display. The regional content is useless and not upto current standards.

Not opening at all. Oflate the videos from the app are not opening at all.. it keeps circling all the time. Its indeed frustrating. I am now thinking over to switch to netflix or hot star...i updated .. i removed and reinstalled.. tried all the hacks i. Thr book.. but to no avail.. Prime video... U are losing out on customer base

The last few days unable to play anything on my Pixel 2XL running Android 10! Keeps throwing "Playback Render Error" Finally Chromecast support! It does most of the things right for a video app. Good quality, organization, search. But the app needs to improve the following on Chromecast support - Subtitles show up really really small on the TV! - Removed option to change subtitle size - Takes a long time to load video - Binge watching sucks - Does NOT remember where we left off!! Iffy at best

Started using Prime after they enabled Chromecast. Good quality and decent collection of movies and web series. The only reason I am giving 3 star is because the collection can be improved and above all there are time lags between audio and video when casted. It corrects if you pause once and repeats there after. This needs to be fixed. Further, search is not bringing the right set match but except the searched word everything else !!!!

This app works well but it has a few frustrating elements. The worst one is that if I pause a video and my screen goes to sleep, the app doesn't stay open and queued to what I was watching. I have to start from scratch to find it.

Really enjoy watching shows on Amazon Prime. Subscribed to BritBox channel for a few months. I really like the options for extra shows, but also that there"s lots to watch without an extra subscription. Subtitles/captions can be annoying. Not sure if they are done by a person or a computer, but they don"t seem to know British idioms so captions can be confusing.
