    Great no fuss app - straightforward and simple to navigate. The reason that it lost a star is because in the past two months or so, invalid ratings have been showing up in blue letters across the top left corner of the screen - and they're pure nonsense. For instance a film with John Wayne made in 1945 displays words pertaining to an R rating - language, violence, sexuality, nudity and the use of drugs. If you try and drill down in the app or desktop there is no way to contact Amazon.

    login Great content but the functionality of the app is poor. I use the app and Google chrome to cast to my TV. The app frequently stops working while the programme still plays, it just stops playing while your watching something and won't connect to chromecast. I would also prefer it if you could forward and rewind by 30 seconds rather than 10. In a nutshell it's not user friendly and this is highly surprising for such a company. Netflix and BBC iplayer are infinitely better

You think? turns out a problem with come, fix that, then, another, then one . A team of troubleshooting specialist. Went did Celine diagnostic test on my cell phone they just sent me insurance for my phone in I can get another replacement. If I rate this app. with 5 stars. I am more then satisfied. P.s. I am still using broke a** Cellphone.

    subscription Getting ready to cancel prime as the app on my mobile absolutely will not play videos now. This has been a constant issue for at least two weeks. Any video. Just buffers pauses freezes and refuses to play. The message that pops up sometimes says can't play this video, please try again later. But no matter what I've tried to do to fix it, Nothing has improved. Ruled out any phone issues, or connection issues. Its not on my end. Its your app!

    cost Was great until updates now nothing will play. Keeps freezing up and eventually gives a play back renderer error and to contact customer service. Like others tried everything with no luck to fix. As a prime member I would expect this to get resolved quickly. Device is Samsung Galaxy Note 10 plus 5G. Update: Just discovered the problem is with the setting within the prime video app. I toggled off use hardware acceleration and it no longer freezes but quality is terrible. Please fix!

    sign in This app freezes all the time. The picture cuts out but the audio continues to play. Sometimes I close the app and the audio continues to play. I can't watch for more the 20 or 30 seconds before it starts glitching. I've had no problems with the Netflix or YouTube apps. This app sucks.

    customer service Buggy UI, often gets stucked while refining watchlist or searching any show or movie. Also why are there differences in available movies and shows based on countries and regions ? Netflix & Disney+ have same shows & movies available everywhere.     movies The WORST, MOST annoying bug infested app I have ever seen. For example, I just tried to queue up a Pink Floyd album, Wish You Were Here. I am shown3 albums and each has different songs, in different order, and multiple songs are listed twice. Understand, these are not different published versions. What is so freaking hard about indexing a database properly? If I want to listen to this album, and only this album, I will now have to make a separate playlist in order to do so. FIX THIS!!!!!!

    free trial 1: Mediocre ui 2: You have to adjust player quality manually in settings instead of being able to do it while videos are playing 3: Video quality auto adjusts back and forth between lowest setting and highest regardless of how good your internet is 4: videos cant handle fast any fast forwarding or rewinding while streqming, either dumpstering the quality or just straight up crashing 5: downloading is the only way to go 6:I mean its amazon, come on

    tv shows Amazon Prime is a decent app. However we first signed up in Japanese but now we want to read the app in English and there's no way to change the app setting. This is very inconvenient.. You sign up for this Amazon Prime video in one language and it's stuck in that language. I'm not trying to use this on a computer. Only my phone. All my settings on my phone is in English except for this app.

    I have an Amazon Prime account and have added on several additional channels which can all be accessed within the Prime Video app. With my Fire TV, I can watch at home, or, I can use my mobile phone and watch anywhere I go. Pair it with Alexa and Echo and you have an automated, voice-activated video experience. I'm really pleased with my Amazon Prime Account and the amenities it provides. It's really a great value even if you only access the Price Video app.

    I've been having trouble with this app for at least the past two weeks. I keep restarting my phone, I've cleared cache in the app settings, I've uninstalled/reinstalled the app multiple times. But, it gives me a dns error whenever I try to watch my shows or click on my watchlist. The only screen that loads is the home screen. I have Netflix, Hulu, Funimation, and YouTube premium. So, it's not my phone >:/

    Updated app this morning and audio doesn't work. Several days prior to the update, the videos will not load properly and took multiple attempts before the videos would play on a brand new Samsung galaxy s20 ultra 5g... Oh and there needs to be better content. Why is the prime free to me comedy movie category full of Indian movies? I am sure some they are good movies, but I am not interested in them.

    Cast option is horrible. The video just stops abruptly and buffers till eternity even when the internet is working fine. Chromecast on my TCL android tv works perfectly fine with other apps, only your app seems to have a problem with it. There is also no prime video app for my tv, so Chromecast is the only option I have to enjoy it on tv and yet your bug doesn't allow me to do that. If the issue isn't fixed, I am never paying for this service again. Update: Issue still isn't fixed.

    I expected big things from this app. But it fails on so many levels. Including the TV app. When you continue watching on a different device they don't always sync up. When using the resume button, more often than not it will start playing in a completely random place. The whole UI just doesn't flow. No tab on TV app to filter Free to Prime members. Subtitles don't match the speech timing. Search function is hit and miss. Advertising before each series. I could go on but I'm running out of space.

    Shows are good but library could be improved on. Navigation is extremely poor. Also a lot of foreign (not amozon) sites with access to movies you want to watch. Subscription to prime should be exclusive to prime. If I have to rely on amazon prime to direct me to films and shows I want to watch, then what is the point of prime if its nothing other than a movie search engine?

    Very good selection of shows. But for some reason, many past seasons and episodes are not available. This really sucks! 2020/9/30 update - I've watched all my favorite shows and now I have nothing left to watch! πŸ™„ The other shows you want to watch, you need a whole different subscription to another channel!! πŸ€¦πŸ½β€β™€οΈ And of course Quebecers are not eligible for the 1-month free trial! 😑 Why does QC always get a raw deal when it comes to this?? πŸ€”

    The two stars are for the content. Because hell they have good content. Pretty happy with the content. But what they really suck at and need to work on is their player. That's the worse I have come across. It get annoying after some point. The video lags, the audio moves but the screen is just blank. All sorts of problems. Please, please get it together.

    The app is very inelegant especially when compared to other equivalents like Netflix. The app will regularly put subtitles on and refuse to turn them off and the only way to fix this issue is to uninstall the app. The screen freezes while trying to select episodes to watch and you need to either reload the page or close snd restart the app to fix it. Prime has a good selection but the app is rubbish

    I love this app, but today had been my worst experience ever!! I have been trying to watch the FentyxSavage show on this platform all day. Every time I start it, the video stops and the audio continues. When I try to skip 10 seconds ahead or backwards, an error message appears. I don't understand. If this is an Amazon Original, why am I having so many difficulties?! This problem has been consistent with all the videos I wanted to watch today. If problem is fixed, I will change my review.

    Overall nice interface, but it would be great if the "continue watching" list were in the "My Stuff" section. The Xray feature, where you know scene-by-scene which actors are in it, is awesome. I'm hopeful that in the future there'll be a larger selection of popular choices between movies and series but, for the time being, it's a bit lacking.

    Honestly the ads for prime shows are intrusive, especially while watching a series, since it comes in between each episode. Even though they're skippable it's frustrating when every other streaming platform doesn't do this, which is why I barely use prime video nowadays.

    There needs to be more up to date shows. Maybe make HBO included with subscription. I believe that all seasons should be included with prime subscription not only 1-3 and so on. You get hooked on a show and when done with the seasons you offer we are left hanging. Update: Has gotten better. New and amazing shows. And I get notifications about shows that go along with what I have been watching.

    This app is not working properly on my Samsung note Galaxy 10 plus some of the videos Of this app or stopping and/or freezing also the epic Side of this app is also malfunctioning Obviously my phone is not the one malfunctioning because all my other video apps are working perfectly with no interruption in video Performance. Amazon has to find a fix to this problem obviously this app needs a major upgrade. I haven't seen amazon actually do any type of update for a very long time to this app.

    It's okay. Gives access to content, search, downloading. Doesn't change the serious problems with the streaming product. Far too often, "Next Episode" box appears long before end of an episode, auto forwards after just a few seconds, you then have to fight it just to watch the end of an episode. Also, often the audio is terrible, sounding like it had been taken from the rear channels of surround feed (Overly loud music/effects, stupidly quiet speech), but no way to report problems at all.

    Great app and good movie and series collections. Would be great if we have an option to mark movies as "watched", so that we don't get bothered with the ones we've already seen when we are looking wildly for watching a good movie. Just a suggestion. Also, would be great if we can get some anime series as well in the same! Adding more. Would be nice to have playback speed and increased volume support as well.

    I just hate it. Even if you are a prime member you will have to pay for most of the movies and series. Amazon is just playing good game here in advertisements. Netflix is way much better, you pay once and you can watch all the things in there. But Amazon you pay monthly, you will get only 10% of things to watch which is also junk, And if you like to watch good movies, series etc... you will need to pay separately. So Just because of that 1 but I have option to give 0 I'll prefer to give 0 star.

    I'm sure it's a fantastic app when it works. When I try to watch any movie, it starts playing, but about 10 seconds in, the picture freezes, but the sound continues. Then the sound stops, the screen goes black, and I have to wait another 20 seconds or so for the picture to come back, and the sound to come back crackly. It plays another 5ish seconds before going through that entire cycle again. It's so hard to get through a movie because of it.

    Navigation within the app is comfortable, however the video playback is limited on options. I could not find a way to cast the image to another device or control video quality. The biggest reason for the 4 star is the resume playback feature is often buggy and either starting episodes over or in the wrong spot period.

    WORST STREAMING EXPERIENCE EVER!!! On top of that I CAN'T EVEN PLAY THE DOWNLOADED VIDEOS! What is the problem? Its soooo buggy. Every now and then when I want to watch something a dialogue box appears saying "we have encountered a problem with video" and i can no longer play anything. You want me to watch the show or NOT??? Have contacted twice but still nothing works. Useless.

    The content is fine but the app IS NOT user friendly. - I don't need to see each individual season of a title when I'm scrolling, looking for something to watch. - they'll put shows/seasons that are coming soon in the lists of shows to watch. You won't know until you click into the show that it's not available yet -if you end an episode during the end credits, that's exactly where it will restart... Not at the next episode Their set up is so Mickey Mouse, I'm surprised Disney doesn't sue

    Gets better everyday. However, The shuffle button to reproduce random episodes when it's inside a season page, should reproduce a random episode from that especific season, not from the whole seasons. The shuffle play in the show page (where we choose the season) that one is correct, if you are in the page of the whole show, the shuffle button naturally consider a collection of all episodes. Well, but that's only my opinion as user. The app is better since I started to use. (About a year)

    I am getting an error while playing says video unavailable We're unable to play your video right now. Please try again in a few minutes or call amazon customer support... I did speak to 3 consultants. First person told me to turn off hardware acceleration. Second hung up the call I was waiting on hold. Third person helped a little asked me to uninstall and install it which worked but again the same error today.

    Complicated... Netflix is way better. Still not convinced. A few series I'm interested, just a couple movies, are actually worth watching. I hate the ad or recommended movie at the beginning of every new thing I watch. The caption options is very poor. Comparing to Netflix, Amazon has a lot to learn. A lot...!!

    Recently, when watching shows/movies anytime words appear within the show they also appear as a label on the screen - similar to subtitles, but subtitles are turned off. For example if there is a location within the show that has a sign (like a hotel) the name of it appears within a label on the screen, with no way to remove it. VERY FRUSTRATING!!!

    One of the worst streaming apps out there. The UI is not great, and the "skip" ad button overlaps with "skip intro" button, please fix your button placement. For some series the intro is important and reflects 5 minutes of content followed the the series intro music thing. Also, stop ads, I pay for your service, I don't need nor want video ads for your other shows when watching something, it's horrible! All this makes me using prime video as last option, I try every other service first.

I love running in my treadmill and watching tv series, and it's very annoying that after every single chapter they play the same commercial, over and over and over again. I hate the 2 or series they make me watch on commercials. Thank you, prime, you ruined the man in the high castle.

    Terrible, when using it with chromecast. Galaxy s9 plus is lagging, everytime I play prime video on my chromecast. No other streaming app does this, except for prime. This is a issue for many months. I don't think amazon will ever fix it. This issue occurs with my friend's galaxy s20 too and many other android phones.

    The most irritating thing is the app suddenly hangs in between an ongoing show/movie and then the sound goes away. You have the restart it once again, but then also it hangs and crashes. It like the app makes you take a compulsory and unwilling break of 10 minutes in between good scenes, ruining the whole moment.

    The whole service is more of a gigantic ad than an actual video service, not to mention its total lack of functionality. Aside from a few of Amazon's own series, the rest of the catalogue pretty much sucks and is slowly getting reduced more and more. If you go through the main page, there are way more ads for other services than actual content. The app also can't even play in the background, is really bad at keeping track of what you've watched or not, and has a tendency to lag out and stop trying to load a video all together. Glad this is not a service I pay for separately and is included in Prime because it would be a total scam.

    Really good app but it's annoying that when I close the app and open it up later it wont pickup an episode where I left off but start at the beginning of the PREVIOUS episode. It would also be nice if there was a "watch next episode" button at the end of the episode so I dont have to wait until after the credits to start a new episode. Also the app will often randomly close or freeze which is very annoying. If these issues are fixed I'll give it 5 stars

    I'm baffled at how I am unable to stream via wifi. Yet the settings allow me to. Instead it only streams via phone data. What gives? Please help, otherwise I'm gonna cancel my new Subscription. Update: after much clearing data/cache and uninstalls. I decided to try on iPhone, and works right off the batπŸ‘ŒπŸ» meaning, U guys need to get your act together for the Android department. Period!

    I want to give more stars, but I cannot right now for one simple in Japan, Japanese subtitles replace English subtitles of other foreign languages. So, if the characters in the video are speaking Chinese, or Russian or Arabic, etc, then I cannot follow along at all. More and more tv shows and movies are including a mix of foreign languages which means I am lost more and more frequently. A very simple fix would be: please enable the option to choose the language of the subtitles.

You guys charged me the annual subscription fees but whats the point when your application doesn't work..!! Worst support team ever. Pathetic service. Cant even solve an issue with the application for more than 2 months now and they are really shy when it comes to respond back to the customers. They follow " We will never do it".

    It's decent but it could be a lot better. It's clunky and needs to be more streamlined. I want my watchlist and my main stuff easy to see. Also get rid of the advertisement of random shows and movies right when opening the app. That's unnecessary. Also fix the stupid refresh problem.Scrolling across movies makes no sense and when you read the info and go back it refreshes so you're back at the beginning of the list

    Prime is good value as we previously spent more money on p+p than the fee we pay now so not only do we get most free p+p with prime it's like getting all these great movies and box set series absolutely FREE .Amazon prime has also been a godsend in these months of lock down.     Works great and the UI is the best, even more polished than Netflix. Three suggestions: 1. Make subtitle setting changes permanant so we don't have to toggle them every time. 2. Make them seperate from the device CC. 3. Make it possible to disable Trivia pop up. Can be annoying on phones. On Android 11's notification panel, the 10 second rewind rewinds a lot more, like a minute.

    Horrible, only one movie worked then after that the rest started to Stutter or it either goes to a black screen. I refreshed it several times and it's definitely not my internet connection. I even tried uninstalling then re-installed the app. So far, I'm not impressed by the app.

    It shows videos fine & even let's you download for offline use. My problem with it & why it lost some stars is because the app is difficult to navigate & find new things to watch. The groupings for the videos are poorly utilized. Even if I toggle 'free to me' on it's still a pain to find something. I was hoping for a better suggestive algorithm.

    I have been facing black screen problems while playing any video since the day I subscribed prime video few days ago, when I click my screen playing any video it's just showing title and control option, it's working all fine in every other device using my ID, except in my vivo s1 phone, I also called to customer care and tried every possible solution but nothing happens and I face this problem again and again, please solve this issue as soon as possible, otherwise give me my money back...!

You can find x+1 number of tv shows you will love.(where x is any other website that contains tv shows) it is just flat out fun to use. i persnolly love watching the big bang theory, the office and young sheld along with these you can find famous tv shows, series and original movies.     Fix the refresh problem. Nothing is more maddening than having to scroll horizontally to find something, clicking on it to see if something might be worth watching, hitting the back button to continue searching and the screen refresh makes do all of that scrolling again do to an annoying refresh, sometimes taking you back to the top of the screen. Vertical scrolling is a must better choice for a touch interface. Totally frustrating interface.

    Once played started a new series, and Prime Video decided to play the final episode instead of the pilot. Didn't realise this until it was over because I don't normally check the episode # when starting a new show, and it spoiled the ending. But that was my only bad experience.

    Forces too many commercials in. If I'm watching a series, I don't need an add for some other show at the start of EACH episode, Also, floods the list of available programs to watch with shows that aren't actually included with Prime and require additional subscriptions to watch. Furthermore, sometimes navigating to a specific episode in a series is not as direct as it should be. While I like some of the shows on Prime, I feel that the NETFLIX interface blows Prime out of the water.

    Content is good, app is terrible. Coming from locks screen, my S10 locks up and shows a black screen for a few seconds when playing videos on Chromecast. Never remembers where I am in the series, always starts in the credits on the previous episode. Seems to put German subtitles along the bottom when actors speak in different languages in an episode.

    Netflix who? I absolutely love Prime Video. I am able to binge my favorite shows from early 2000s that I can't watch anywhere else. Never have technical issue with that app itself. And a bonus is all the cast in each scene will pop up with their name, etc when you click on your screen. And it gives you fun trivial facts. I love it!

    Awful. Picture and video constantly skip. Uninstall and reinstalled app, rebooted my phone, downloaded the episode instead of streaming and nothing fixes the issue.     Downloaded Video playback in best quality stutters. Not able to seek forward or backward. Got in touch with the support team who suggested disabling hardware acceleration, clearing cache, deleting downloaded videos. No resolution so far. Am using a samsung s10 lite. Error message shows as playback_renderer_error. Problem only for downloaded videos. Looking forward to a fix soon and maybe i can leave a better rating then. Expecting quality especially when its a paid subscription!

    I would like the app better if the show was centered on the screen on Android and iOS. The picture is offset to the left and is very annoying. If they would fix it so that the screen on the device shuts off while you are connected to DeX or an AV adaptor while on the iPhone it would be much better. I would also like to be able to download a show with Dolby Vision and Dolby audio and be able to play it back on my TV. I like it that there is no limit of downloads of Amazon Originals.

    Less a streaming app, more an advert for the channels they have subscription deals with. Every other streaming app charges ONCE, Prime charges you to subscribe to pay-per-veiw. There are a handful of decent Prime original series and a few good films (that I think were fairly unknown) that you can watch for free with Prime, everything else you have to pay extra for. Anything popular gets taken off Prime or sold to another of their channels without warning as soon as there's enough people hooked.

    Recent movies and TV shows such as The Boys are stuck with German subtitles for foreign languages subtitles, English songs and English text (example - reading a sign). This has been reported all over reddit for months. Not sure why it hasn't been resolved but makes streaming from the app to my TV really distracting and I miss a lot of dialogue.

    Very erratic, disorganized listings. I am searching for mysteries and you throw in other genres. I click on a show I would like to watch and I am told it is unavailable at this time. Also, there does not appear to be a rating system. It would be much better if I could say yes or no to a particular show so when I come back, I am not clicking or adding the same show. You put in ads for other channels while I am in the search menu. Good try, but makes it harder to find what you're looking for.

I, at least, used to be able to then go to amazon on line and watch from there and can't even do that now because it forces me to download THE APP THAT DOESN'T work.     It's a good service, but I can't exclame enough how annoying it is that the resolution is capped at 1080p, I mean id understand if it was like this 5 years ago, except Samsung have been releasing phones which 1440p resolution for years now, and Sony have a 4k Xperia smartphone. I just find it really stupid that they only have 4k resolution for smart TV'S. 1440p is a noticeable difference from 1080p and I'd like to take advantage of that and have 1440p HDR.

    Not a fan of the way the app is set up. Interface is not entirely user friendly. Cannot easily filter out titles not included with prime subscription, have to reset filter every new search which is stupid. Content lags a lot. Its a very frustrating platform to use. If these issues were to get fixed it would be a lot better




    Really enjoy the app and it's content a lot. However facing issues with the prime video desktop / pc app! I live in Dubai and am a prime customer. From the past week or so, the language on the desktop app has changed to Arabic and I am unable to find any option to change it to English. Viewing content has become a definite problem and there are no options for skipping intro, viewing summary or skipping back or ahead anymore! No issues with the mobile app, but pc app is a problem ! Please help !

    Great and varied content, there is always something good to watch in any category you feel like. If the user experience for creating watch lists was better (the combined "favourites" and "continue watching" feature is really irritating) I would give it 5 stars. Also the Apple TV app has crashed and is now undownloadable, forcing me to stream via mobile and Chromecast.

    06/2020 - The in app player controls randomly don't work anymore, e.g. trying to pause or skip backwards 10 seconds. Please reinstate the previous version, the QC on this release is terrible. Update. They fixed the app soon after my review and 5.5 months no problems. Now another release on 18/9/2020 and the same problems back again, i.e. no play controls in the app can't pause or fast forward or use the 10 second backwards/forwards buttons. Can't leave well enough alone it seems?

    For some bizarre reasons downloads fail to plan giving an odd error. Accidentally found out by trying to play a successful download, that the device must be rebooted. Then it appears that the unsuccessful download are OK again. Really the app should advise you better than wasting your time in repeating downloading again. Getting as bad as Disney + almost.

    Content unavailable! I like the UX but recently my children were enjoying a series of a vintage cartoon when half way through the content became 'unavailable' with no warning of any kind. I checked other similar series and it seems Amazon UK decided to arbitrarily axe swaths of content without explanation or notification or offering a rental or purchase option. Removing a series mid-watch is a "nil point" from me for customer experience!

    Unable to login to prime on Nokia 5.3. It worked for two days and after manual login and select a movie, the movie does not play. Downloading icon keeps spinning. It I use a hotspot from the same mobile and play prime on another phone, prime on the other phone plays. Tried reinstalling the application about 3 to 4 times, no success.




    Content is good but app doesn't work properly. The problem has started occurring recently since I moved to my Samsung galaxy s10 lite. Audio continues for sometime while video froze then blank black screen and audio will repeat but can't watch anything. While all other apps like Netflix, Hotstar, YouTube are working fine without any issue. I would request Amazon team to fix the issue at earliest.

    Easy to use on Samsung J7 and Kindle Fire. Great sound & video. No stutters, no shutdowns or any other video issues. Excellent variety of videos, old and new, plus documentaries. The ONLY con on my phone is that I can't find a way to disable auto-play, which I disabled on my kindle. I recommend Amazon prime video and prime music.

    Variety, availability, included with prime - everything about Prime Video is great, except rolling out an untested update that 1) took away my ability to view content i purchased (staggering video, constant rollback, streaming errors) and 2) leave this fit to screen / crop to fit button appearing on any tap on the screen. Have to remove the app , restart phone and give devs another week to get their code together. Ultimately annoying.

    This app has a ton of bugs on Android TV. Unfortunately the email address listed in the store is unmonitored, and complaints through customer service are not forwarded (or just plain ignored). This is disappointing. Most of these bugs should have easy fixes but Amazon is just too lame or incapable of doing these.     Much more difficult to control rewinds with resume feature being useless. The rewind contol is challenging to make small adjustments. The resume feature seldom captures where just paused for a short break and will resume to much earlier positions in the episode or more often to earlier seasons or episodes. This wastes a significant amount of time. Other apps are more intuitive, easier to control, and more reliable to resume at point last watched before my bathroom break!

    Selection is ok. It would be much better if we had the same selection as US Prime Video. Casting is very simple and it's easy to maneuver through the app. The only issue I really have with Prime Video is they don't keep the movies on long enough.     This app is great and constantly improving. I only dislike how not all movies I own are compatible with my movies anywhere account. Most other retailers, I have no problem with. I do like how they will link movies that are ad supported in case we are interested and a lot of new releases to enjoy. The new profiles are a great step in the right direction but can't add my movies to other household members like I can w. the kindle books. Please fix this.

First time it allows prime subscription members and added family members to view films and shows. after a while it's not working in added family members device I was trying to re-sign to my account with the same login and password that's opens another account and it's telling my family members to subscribe to prime.     1. No option to select language for download. 2. Workaround to play first and then download works only for the first. The others episodes in the series still get downloaded in a different language. 3. Search does not work even with proper title name. Search and navigation features are seriously limited.     For someone who doesnt use a Firestick, this app is useless if the Cast button doesnt show up, which is the case 9 times out of 10. Updates are current, I can cast from any other streaming app, and iPhone users dont have this problem. Also, making paid users click through ads is bogus, do better.

    This app is currently a lie. It will stream in whatever quality I want on an xbox PlayStation ipad or smart TV but not on my phone. As I travel a lot on public transport this is a major no no for me. I even tried downloading what I want to watch but the same stuttering mess of video is still waiting there. Its not just one show or film either it is their whole library. As I have other ways to watch I won't be cancelling my subscription but this is a joke. Do not use this app on your phone.




    Latly my download have been using my data when I have them already downloaded. Cost me 30 extra dollars on my bill because I noticed. Thank goodness, could have been worse if I didn't notice.. and that was only for half the movie...... I didn't even get to finish watching it till i was home 3 days later... not cool in this time when money is hard to co.e by.

    They make you watch adds/preview for their shows. Instead of having a a category for movies that require you to pay for them they sponsor them everywhere. What's the point of paying for prime when a good amount of the movies they have on their you have to pay for them. We were testing prime for a month and really we will not be continuing with it.

    There is a lot of space for improvement regarding interaction with vpn. It doesn't matter if I disactivate my vpn in order t use the app. It keeps on telling me that I need to deactivate the vpn in order to use the app even though it is deactivated!! I have to keep on disinstalling and installing the aplication again for it to work. It is quite annoying. I like the extra information on some shows though, it is a much appreciated plus

    Great capabilities, but the series or movies you are currently watching are not at the top so a hassle to find, and casting is a pain as well : sometimes the button isn't there, and I have to switch tabs twice for it to appear.     Very bad streaming quality. The app doesn't support 1080p on my 3a XL despite it being a new-ish phone and I have plenty of bandwidth. I get 1080p on some devices and caps out at 480p on others for seemingly no reason. Really bad experience with this app. The content is good enough but this is by far the worst media app I've used out of the major providers.

    both TV and app experience is very bad. Specially TV experience is extremely bad. Most of time it shows errors saying "wifi is unavailable" while I can watch YouTube seamlessly. Also after 10-15 attempts to watch a movie on my Sony bravia, sometimes it shows broken images, other times its an error. I was a long time netflix user. So switching back to netflix again.

    Using a Pixel 3a XL on latest Android but when playing videos through Amazon Prime the sound keeps cutting out and then the video will stop and go back a few seconds and play fine, this happens every couple of minutes and only affects this app, all other videos by other providers play fine such as FB, Snapchat, sky sports and so on Unable to watch any shows on the Prime app due to this issue, happens on both 4G and WIFI, have done a speed test with 60mbps recorded on WiFi and 18mbps on 4G

    I had taken 1 year prime membership for using prime video. It has a good collection of web series but it has some bugs in download section which made me disappointed. I face after i download a video. I am not a postpaid user so i don't have unlimited internet ,so i started downloading but after 2- 3 days it starts showing there is a problem and it will be automatically solved when u will connect to internet . and whenever i connect it then also its showing same thing and tells to redownload.

    2 stars, reason being, it makes my brand NEW Note 20 ultra lag when it comes to unlocking my phone. You clearly have some optimizations to make, and the other reason is it plays videos fine. So one negative star and one positive star. My device should not lag because of this. Preposterous.

    I don't know what I would do without it. I download whole series to watch on planes. I find myself watching prime when I "m having an otherwise non eventful breakfast. It appears that my password is securely remembered so all is good. Sometimes I want to leave feedback on movies etc but it appears the app doesn't s support this. A little irk. The app is great and this seasons choices have been outstanding. Great value. It gets better. Looking forward to new season treats.

    Your UI sucks and its not well categorised... Its fails to show the variety of shows available. Its the worst in terms of app UI if compared to Netflix and Hotstar. Fix your UI to show variety of shows available. But I loved the way imdb cast is displayed as characters are played on screen. Please add brightness control , volume control, and video quality control sliders. Also add gestures for zoom instead of hiding it inside menu

    RECENT UPDATE BOUGHT GLITCH The app overall is great but the recent update bought some glitch. You can't skip forward or backwards now. Also the screen size message box(crop to fit, fit to screen) appears repeatedly in phone UI even after closing the app. There is some major glitch. Please sort problem this out soon.

    No HD or Full HD Streaming or Downloading for Prime Video. Although Netflix have no issues. Device is Widevine L1 certified. Might be the issue with Prime Video technical team who are still working on the HD or Full HD features in the latest devices. My device details Name - Samsung Galaxy Tab S7 Plus. Updated on 27-09-2020. Giving 5 stars back as issue was solved over an app update.

    Actual video player isn't great, tapping screen for pausing brings up information related to the show like actors (which there was another step / a small button to trigger this as I have never found this useful). Wish it was like YouTube where you could click to the left/right to skip a few seconds.

    I would expect something solid from a company that big trying to compete with the likes of Netflix and Disney but my experience with Amazon prime is just bad , app on my tv (Sony tv 4k HDR ) is just so slow its just like I'm back to Windows 98 times , tablet is not better I have 1gigabits speed and the movie is constantly switching from bad to good quality of picture , on tv its kind of stable but its struggling with 4k I know this is cheaper then Netflix that's why I gave it a go but dear lord

    Content is minimal. Once you've seen one show in a series, you've seen them all because there are very few popular series on here included with prime. BIGGEST issue however, is that it causes issues when casting with Chromecast. No other app has issues with my Chromecast, just Amazon Prime Video.

    Love the options. It's a great variety. Only reason I gave it 4 stars instead of 5 is because as some shows that I watch the episodes go out of order a few times. Not all shows are like this but I've noticed it happens to a few I am currently trying to watch.

    It's very slow and with anime, if you were to watch it with Japanese audio, you cannot get English subtitles. Please fix this cause I'm able to watch with subtitles on the TV but I want to watch it on my phone. Thank you

    Im also facing the same lag issue with the app. I had reset my S10 for this but still the same issue which is disappointing. I realized it is not a phone issue at all. This is started recently only. Please fix this Amazon. The streaming works fine on Windows 10 app. Affected Android platform only.

    A lot of good features. Unfortunately it hangs frequently. Also, for a significant amount of time at the start of each show or movie playback, the top approximately one-third of the screen is darkened while a rating is displayed. It's mildly annoying, and there seems to be no way to disable it.

    This app is good to work and I love to watch live cricket matches and movies in this app... But it's taking long duration of time to connect live and it's not connecting to any live video or movies, I have best internet connection and stable network. I feel sometimes It's waste to subscribe this app.

    Hasn't worked on my Galaxy Tab 2 for several updates now. I've tried uninstalling and reinstalling and verified the issue on multiple wifi connections. It always just says "We're unable to show this content. Please try again later."

    The video player should be able to zoom in without losing content. Now it just crops in. And sometimes there is ad which can be skipped but still I think it affects the user experience. I don't want to see ads to something I have subscribtion for.

    Very cluttered interface, too much of "info" and "trivia" being shown when casted, next episode is hard to access, episode list not intuitively placed. Web version does not paise with Spacebar, which is the norm for almost every media player.

    I love this app. And like all things I love you take the good with the bad. I know that there can be some dialog lag depending on what I'm using to watch it on and im ok with that.

    - Navigation is cumbersome. If looking at a group of movies, if you click a movie, then try to go back to the group, it takes you back to the first screen, rather than the last group. - Doesn't keep track of which episode of show you're watching well.

    The app works fine aside from the fact i can't watch my shows in order. It started me on an episode in season 4 & when i go back to season one the auto next episode shoots me back to season 4. Its annoying that every episode I have to got back to the season im on. Plus the auto fit screen function constantly resizes during the entire show. Certain shows only show the date it was released on Prime, not when the show was actually made or aired. I'm really starting to hate Amazon.

    App needs improvement but content is of better quality than Netflix if you compare the price. 4K quality with six different accounts under one primary account. Yearly subscription option with 25% discount makes prime video lot more attractive than Netflix. Recommended.

    This app is somehow even worse than the HBO app even though HBO doesn't support casting this app is on par with that. Casting doesn't work 99% of the time even if I'm sble to cast from i.e. netflix within a split second. Everything about this app from the UI to the casting/subtitles/stupid "trivia" that I can't remove is just frustrating. This app is truly a testament to how hard companies try to fit as much as they can into their apps until it just breaks.

    So now I have prime video! Now I can sift through all the stuff you can buy to find some stuff to watch. Looking, and looking at all the movies, and shows you can buy. Where is the Prime video videos? Where are they? How do I find a video that I don't have to purchase? I sincerely hate Amazon so much. Don't you have enough money Bezos? Can't you just give us a video player so we can just watch some shows real quick?

    Unintuitive. Ads during content. Constant demands for upgrades. Different platforms within membership which taunt you to upgrade. Little coherence within the platforms of membership upgrades. Hard to navigate; strong dislike for general ease of use.
