First time using caviar. Right out the gate, Terrible experience. Food arrived two hours later. Tried to contact driver, no response after texting and calling. App kept saying that driver is waiting for the food. Called the restaurant and was told my order was picked up over 40 minutes ago. Finally got in touch with customer service. They were helpful, but didn't offer refund or credit. They were able to get another driver to go get a whole new order. Just a suckass experience.

First Time order.. decided to give it a shot and see what it is all about.. app is nice and easy to navigate.. easy to read and not obnoxious or cluttered with irrelevant things like ads. Unfortunately I didn't get a chance to use their First Time Orders promotion code for $10 off due to my own error, it seems like a great offer.

Not 1 star only because the selection is good. More often than not the timing is way off, I have waited 2 hours multiple times. Service functionality is terrible also. It should not be difficult to get a refund when something from your order was completely wrong.

Deactivated account on Doordash so unable to login to Caviar. Use Doordash's live chat feature, get zero help. Call Doordash and wait forever for them to figure out how to reactivate my account. Am told in 2 hrs I'd be able to use my account again. 6 hrs later I'm able to Iogin, yay! I fill my cart and check out only to pop up with an error message that my account is still deactivated and to call them again. At this point I've tried harder than I should have to to give you my money. Goodbye.

They are affiliated w/Door Dash which is my favourite delivery group of all of the delivery apps. I can't even think of a time that I had an issue w/my order from either Caviar or Door Dash. The Caviar App has more of the upscale places to order from & Door Dash has more of the "every day" fare (but Caviar also has quite a few standard restaurants & viceversa for Door Dash). Love 'em!

Awesome app. Actually awesome experience on the whole. I came across the website, was able to easily create the order there, sign up with Google instantly and then the little message for tracking on the map encouraged me to download the app. thumbs up to your UX and engineering team!

however long it says a restaurant will take, 20-40 minutes will be added when you submit the order. every time. also has a handy "under 30 mins" filter which has shown 0 restaurants for the past year. also has insane fees.

Everything works as intended, and quite well too. the only thing that i can even think of to critique, is the map lag, compare to actual position, and even that's pretty good for what it does. keep up the good work.
