This application allows you to rapidly measure Reverberation Time (T20 and T30) and Definition (D50) in octave bands using your Android Device. The software has been developed starting from a collaboration between Suonoevita and the Politecnico di Milano Master Degree for a Thesis work: it follows ISO 3382 and IEC 61672 specifications and has automatic gain control as well as clip-detection algorithms that makes it unique. It has been proved on field that is able to give really good estimates starting from the 500Hz octave frequency band: unfortunately your phone is not a Class I precision instrument! In the Lite version you can obtain the Acoustical Parameter results in octave bands by averaging a maximum of three handclaps: wait for the device to give you an audio/visual feedback and you're ready to go! You can save the measurement session and/or export results on a .csv file for your personal needs. At first glance this seemed to be nothing but advertising and a very basic tutorial. However I did sit there for some time and it eventually respond to a clap. It seems you need to find and install their enhanced version at $8.49. Hard to see why anyone would bother unless it's way better designed than the Lite version. Uninstalled and tried something else.

I measuered T20 = 5.2 T30 = 4.8 in a church. Should not be 3 * T20 = 2 * T30? Or are both values extrapol. to T60? Thanks for the answere. Chris
