When I first started using the app I thought it was awesome. Things I liked: 1. When in a parking lot app gives street and ideas of direction like, 'okay, let's go, let's take Riverfront drive and Highway 14' but feature was removed and the app can't keep up. So now it's like 'turn left... turn right, then turn right' but it is always a step behind therefore wrong turns on to the street are likely. Few weeks ago app was better. So much more to say but only 500 characters. I will update review.

  2. Key OCee-avatar

Okay, here's the thing. When I open Waze manually input in my destination everything works fine. If I'm driving along and I see a hazard and I use the Google Voice Assistant to for example say there's a stalled vehicle on the shoulder, that works fine. But after that the Waze voice directions stopped working. I have restart waze. Please fix this and it gets 5 stars from me.

I tried to sign in with my phone number. The only thing app said it found me but an error pops up saying unable to verify account. Facebook sign in also has a similar issue. UPDATE: It did not give an option to change the password only to create a new account. I clicked back on the verify error message, the app froze for a second and then signed into my account. So at least I have access once more.

  4. Lord Rivera-avatar

If you don't update it you can't use it "something went wrong". Once you updated it it will say "no internet connection" when you updated it using the samw network but when you change to other network it works. And to add, you still haven't fix the issue of this app connecting to the internet quickly when you have a full signal it will say "no internet" even if I have google maps running okay.

  5. JJ-avatar

This is a way better app than Google Maps. But it drains your battery fairly quickly. A 35km trip drained 27% of my battery where as Google Maps will only drain less than 5% battery on a 35km trip. For that reason I'm going back to Google Maps. Fix this issue & I will be back & will upgrade to 5 stars.

Waze is very good when it works. Since I have installed id I used it for couple of days and "No GPS signal" error is constant. All other navigation programs that I use are getting my exact position, while Waze just remains frozen. It even calculates route from my frozen position. Quite disappointed. Hopefully a fix is on the way.

my Waze problem: When reaching fixed speed camera spot in major expressway and certain road have fixed speed camera in singapore. When vehicle approaching e fixed camera area, e Waze app didn't give warning sound! This happen to my Andriod phone Samsung galaxy S7+ & Huawei mate 10. kindly fixed the App to have a warning sound at fixed speed camera spot. When deleting travel history. Samsung galaxy S7 edge have additional step to "remove" (Huawei mate 10 can directly *remove e travel history)

  8. phil hill-avatar

I'm user since near 8 years, used to be the best sat nav, always improving... uodate over update is getting worse and worse, navigation is just HORRIBLE, can't understand why in a roundabout keeps saying "go straigt" or "turn left" instead of 1st 2nd... exit how it supose to be indicated, do not warn speed cameras like used to do before; since google has bougt this app is worse and worse now is just one more of those crappy apps that we have plenty of. developers, you might not be proud of this

  9. Memo Prince-avatar

My goto for going anywhere. A must have. Couple complaints I'd like addressed. 1) I drive an electric vehicle, so why am I required to choose fuel grade and why have Gas Stations as a constant top item on Android Auto. 2) I use the HOV lane, but I do not need to be told when/where to enter/exit HOV. I need only know where I am exiting highway. I fight my way through lanes of traffic to get to HOV only to find out I need to exit highway in a quarter mile. Frustrating.

  10. Andrei Brinza-avatar

The problem is with GPS location, it looks like is a step behind, the location it's wrong, when I open Google maps for example the location looks good and then is updated on Waze. Awful experience on highway. I hope you resolve the problem with the GPS location. (Galaxy S8)

  11. Joe Ewald-avatar

Using Android auto and my pixel 3a sound only works thru phone...will not send audio thru cars speakers. I have toggled the software switch between using phone and car several times, reloaded both AA and waze, still will not work. Had no trouble with this until recently...don't know what changed...very frustrating!

  12. Jason M-avatar

Good app. But...... The notifications that appear when driving (ie, police, road work) are to big. They block my little car and the route I'm driving. Also is there any way of showing the name of the road I'm driving on like Google maps. FYI I'm running a note 10 to my Honda head unit.

  13. David Barrett-avatar

Not a bad app always use it. however, there are a lot of things missing, for example: traffic lights out report unable to do on Android auto and also when reporting roadworks they do not place on the map. Notifications are buggy too does not warn me of upcoming hazards.

  14. Sonny Pham-avatar

Biggest gap between Waze and Google maps has to be within the information sector. Taking this pandemic as an example, GM can show the new store hours of certain places as well as whether they're temporary closed while Waze is still utilizing old store hours and data. These kind of updated info is what pulls users towards Google maps over Waze.

  15. Jonathan Untch-avatar

Edit for 7/1/2020: BRING BACK THE MOODS (and the cat mood too d:) Best naviagation app to use. Love the features. Seems like Google might start killing this off with the Google maps updates they've been pushing out. I honestly hope waze stays, I just prefer this UI and just about everything about this over gMaps. (just wish I could sync the directions with gear s3 smartwatch).

  16. Firdaus Yahya-avatar

In landscape mode, I can't report about traffic congestion simply because the icon has been misplaced. I couldn't reach the icon as it was hidden from my display and efforts to drag it out would not work. Fix it !

  17. Jason Wihardja-avatar

The night mode is broken in the latest version. I have my Waze to always use night mode. But some fonts and UI elements are still in shown in day mode, resulting in a mix of both theme and making things difficult to see (e.g. dark texts being displayed over dark background).

  18. Matthew King-avatar

Used this a few times and it works decently. Recently tried it for travel with bike only to find there is zero bike support. Massive drawback. Will now be looking for one that does BOTH. Not recommended for anyone not using a car!

  19. Darlene Howard-Posthuma-avatar

    Darlene Howard-Posthuma

Detects POLICE MONITORS MY SPEED Most favorite app. Great GPS. Has saved me from hitting disabled cars off to the side of on the curb in the dark, animals and road debris I couldn't have seen in time on other maps. It alerts when Police are near! Traffic jams and is my GoTo App when I travel anywhere.

  20. Steve Cross-avatar

Good for alerts, but really painful not being able to mute Red Light camera warnings. Possibly a deal-breaker if you regularly drive through intersections with them. Navigation some way behind Google maps for navigation.

  21. Yulian Kukh-avatar

It's all nice and fancy but i have some questions to ask, I'm not a dumb person but i couldn't find how to review my previous trips, also how come you can't see a trip details at the end of the trip (km/h, length etc.)?

  22. F Wright-avatar

Hate the update, why remove cookie monster voice??!! Wish I can undo it and still problems with saying 'no internet connectivity' when there is. Forcing me to use google maps. In search of something else

  23. Tyler Tenkku-avatar

Waze should consider adding the traffic reports like slowdowns and accidents to the map view of alternative routes with an on-off toggle button. When I searched for other routes, I cannot tell where the slowdowns are located

  24. Ray M.-avatar

I used to love this app, and now it's trash. It often drops me off in the middle of the street instead of an address, the maps turns while in driving making me think I need to turn around.

  25. Ricky Meador-avatar

If you're looking for a great navigational app, this is it. Awesome details and information, I haven't experienced a problem yet. Great idea to allow users input.

  26. Kirk K-avatar

With Android auto, and using the navigation, any alerts that come up (police ahead or pot hole) actually block the area where it shows your next turn. I know you can click on the X, but that's annoying. Fix it please.

  27. Robin Quest-avatar

Go to navigation app the hazard notification system could be simplified a lot as it takes multiple presses and regular problems such as traffic and potholes should be one touch on screen not several touches a minor annoyance on an otherwise great app

  28. Errol Feldman-avatar

Super App., best traffic app I have ever used. I don't understand about all the complaints of the other users. I have NOT experienced any of these problems. And I have the latest update.

  29. TheClearwall-avatar

Need to make the railroad crossing an optional alert. That's not a hazard and you can see it coming long before you get there. I love in a city and every other road I turn on I hear that every 5 mins

  30. Kasyidie Kasman-avatar

    Kasyidie Kasman

As a Goggle Map user there's a few things that bugged me on this app: 1. The interface design is a mess. Personally I prefer a cleaner look on the screen rather than Waze clunky semi 3D design. I found it more confusing and distracting. 2. More simplicity. The screen was filled with small text that can pop up, causing me to be slightly distracted because I tried to read it. That's a very dangerous especially when I'm driving. Overall this is a decent app.

  31. Bradley Farless-avatar

    Bradley Farless

Update: they removed the cat "mood". App is now anti-cat and utter garbage. Previous: Still the best way to get from A to B. The visual layout is much clearer and easier to understand at a glance than Google Maps while driving.

  32. Jayme Streater-avatar

I used Google for years I swore by it. I'm a Lyft/Uber driver and someone recommended Waze. I've been hooked since the first use! I absolutely love it, and I use Waze for Lyft and Uber driver gps instead of their own app GPS!!!

  33. Raphi Eitelberg-avatar

    Raphi Eitelberg

Great navigation app but I would love for there to be a shortcut to change the voice prompts volume on the go without having to go through entire settings as I sometimes have music loud and sometimes not and then I don't hear Waze. Also Wazw does not work for me through Android Auto on my new car which is frustrating. Keeps telling me I haven't finished setup for the first time, when I've been using Waze for a few years now. And Waze doesn't even open on my phone when connected via USB

  34. Kraig Iyke-avatar

The current updates are seriously faulty. It's takes you to a wrong road. Most times it have problem connecting to a GPS ... Most addresses in kyiv are not captured. It will be nice if the application is made English friendly for user who don't hear a native language in a foreign country. I dont understand Russian language here in kyiv Ukraine and there's no option to switch to English and the streets names all appear in Russian language making it difficult for English users.

  35. Dumbrava Sorin-avatar

The ideea behind the app is great. The functionalities are great. Interface is great. But, when i turn on my GPS and the app says no GPS all the way home (just had a 30 minute drive with this message), then, all the great features are in vain. This is not a problem that i have, iPhone users, Samsung, Huawei have the same issues and this is causing people to look for alternatives. I need to get to where i nees to go, and i don't trust waze to help me with that lately.

  36. Marcin H.B-avatar

It was hard not give a 1 star, it's a good navigation app with the odd glitch or so, but the real problem is in the removal of reporting a speeding camera. I live in NYC where we have these on almost every street and I used to rely on this app for showing me where they are but since they removed it theres nothing to keep them standing out.

  37. cjb3270-avatar

Great app... may I offer a suggestion? Clicking thru 2 or 3 icons to report an incident can be very hazardous. Maybe create 3 very small shortcut buttons of our choosing (choose from a list) which can be displayed at all times on either side of the main GPS screen, which can quickly and safely report something like, Car on the shoulder, or Police ahead or Pothole. When you're driving, sometimes just taking your eyes off the road for 2 secs can be enough to be bad. This idea would help a lot!

  38. Róbert Dócs-avatar

The application is really useful and fancy. It saved me from lot of trafficjams and trouble. But I really miss one option from.the application. There's an option to setup fuel type of my car. I'm really missing premium gasonline option from this menu, because I always gas up my car with 100 octane gasonline. So on it could be really useful if I can check if a gas station has premium gasonline to or just 95.

  39. Chee Kien Char-avatar

Suddenly no gps when on the way to my destination. Then apps is frozen for fews minutes then back to normal. Sometimes the apps is slow and misleading.

  40. Supreme Productions-avatar

    Supreme Productions

The speed limit sign should always stay on the screen & in bigger font, it's annoying that u don't find out the speed limit using waze where there happens to be no sign until.. u actually exceed it! then it starts warning u 😏 Another thing the reports need more precise info, it should be just like a next turn, "police reported in 2 blocks down" or "speeding trap on 67th street" so wazers can know when 2 slow down. Besides the issue that when u finally spot the report, it's gone👎

  41. Gerardo Roque-avatar

It's a great app. I'm giving it five stars on the sole condition that you NOT GET RID OF THE COOKIE MONSTER VOICE!! PLEASE!! It's really is a great way to road trip and navigate in general especially because you can report traffic accidents and hazards etc., but having my homeboy Cookie Monster give me turn by turn directions really did improve my driving experience. I'm not being sarcastic in the least either. The only thing I struggle with is inputting multiple stops. Keep Cookie Monster plz!

  42. Mark Allen-avatar

I'm Knight level on the app. Would be 4-5 ⭐ if not for one glaring deal-breaker. As you near your destination, the "take a picture" option will pop up, and the address text will similtaneously get reduced to a font that is too small to read at a glance. I need the # for the address, not a prompt to be taking photos of people's houses like a weirdo. Have you clowns not heard of Google Street View? It's even worse if you're around a corner or two, yet within proximity of the picture prompt.

  43. Anthony Frantzis-avatar

    Anthony Frantzis

Was a great app, until they change your voice command if u have cookie monster. Also it says u can use sesame street characters and now it's only at times that u can use that function. Also the ads, ugh always block your map. Not as good as it was. I still use it. It should show your location like Google maps live pictured.

  44. Lounis B-avatar

Since they update it, it be come one of the normal GPS ups it doesn't working as the previous one it too slow and I don't like it I prefer the old one

  45. Amy Tumminia-avatar

Love this GPS app! But please, PLEASE bring the cookie monster voice back!!! My kids absolutely love it on our trips and we have great memories with that! ❤️

  46. bruek-avatar

i prefer it to google maps, but there's still a few irritating things. if i search an address, it should take me immediately to navigate to that address. instead, i have to tap the address, tap "go", then tap "go now". there is no need to tap "go" twice. way too many steps, especially as a delivery driver going to dozens of addresses a day.

  47. Mykandreana Mykandreana-avatar

    Mykandreana Mykandreana

Used for about a week. Turn by turn means TURN NOW!!, sometimes it lets you know ahead and I MEAN SOMETIMES. Gave wrong locations ie: destination on left, when it's on other side of gate/ fence so would have to find opening/ gate. GOING BACK TO GOOGLE MAPS. At least you can view the route with written navigation not just a line from Point A to Z. Waze is Wack as F.

  48. Youtube Donation System-avatar

    Youtube Donation System

This app is great, tells me everything about the road and any problems ahead are submitted by active online visitors to make the driver weary about whats going on.

  49. Enoch Poon-avatar

This WAS a 5 star app. 1. The latest update made this app incompatible with Android Auto. You can now only hear the navigation with a blank screen. 2. They have removed the "OK Waze" function. You now have to touch a few icons to use voice commands (and again to select one of the search results), which completely defeats the purpose of using voice commands, let alone you are not supposed to be touching your phone while driving. Note, the integration with "Hey Google" is only available in the US.

  50. Brian Nielsen-avatar

Nice app is fun to use. Adds a little to a otherwise long and boring drive. It is basically google maps but easier on the eyes. (Well it is owned by google) what would you expect. The preference can be hard to find and they blur the top inch of the android auto screen which is really really annoying. There is no reason for that.

  51. Raiha Mickey-avatar

Hello please fix the map, sometimes my destination behind me but your map navigate to another street and also many uturn at the end i will arrived in the area but im just wondering why the map not totally take me to the closest area but i like this map 😂

  52. Ryan Suki-avatar

Every single time I enter an address to navigate to, the map disappears and is all black. Upon further investigation, it looks like this issue has been happening since 2017, and has still not been fixed. Can't trust this app at work. Going back to Google Maps. Other than that, it has awesome potential. Using Samsung Galaxy A31.

  53. Nick Shreeve-avatar

Disappointed. Following the May 29th update, Waze is no longer able lock my GPS position. This is the case for both standalone and Android Auto use. Google Maps and other location based apps still work fine, so is definitely not my device. All the usual reset tricks have been tried to no avail, and I live in hope this will be resolved following the next update. Until then its Google Maps or native Sat Nav use for me, which is a pity, as on its day, it's the best navigation app out there.

  54. Daniel Bouchette-avatar

    Daniel Bouchette

I have been using this app for the past month for probably 6000+ miles. I love the concept of telling about police, obstructions in the road, vehicles on the side, etc. But one of the most basic routing options is missing. Waze has a habit of routing me some obscure way because the route is the shortest, not the fastest route. I have found lately I find my route on Google Maps and then just run Waze on the route for the information. If there is a conflict, I have not been listening to Waze lately. I would like to just use one but have lost confidence in Waze routing now.

  55. Jeezy 4Sheezy-avatar

There's something wrong with this app and Android auto. It does not even show up on the screen of my car at all when I connect the phone to the car via android auto. Only google maps is available for me on AA. It seems to be a general problem with Waze and AA. I certainly hope they fix it soon, I miss the speed limit alerts the app provides. Common Waze, get your stuff together!

  56. Carl Capture-avatar

I don't like how much this app delegates tasks while driving to the user. That can be very distracting and Google Maps makes it much easier on certain tasks than this app does. I can appreciate the depth of letting other driver's know what's going on, but it shouldn't overcome the safety of using the app. My favorite feature is being able to just drive and it follows where I'm going. The worst feature is reporting issues on the go, and how distracting that is with all it wants you to do.

  57. Nyrio Parmentier-avatar

    Nyrio Parmentier

I would like to give more stars. But when your phone is in landscape mode or in Android Auto mode, there is no line for average speed control, nor sound from the end of trajectory control. When you set it to portrait mode, the line is on the left side and show the progress from the control. I think that a line on the top of the screen would be very helpful in landscape mode or Android Auto mode.

  58. David Metcalfe-avatar

Voice commands have been changed to going through the Google Assistant, but they aren't available unless you're in the U.S., leaving everyone else on the planet without voice commands. Really dumb move. Now, the app loses GPS signal despite the phone settings being fine and the device having a proper line of sight with the sky. Waze has gone from bad to awful.

  59. David Martin-avatar

Waze is no longer accurate. While driving it's telling me I left my route and I need to turn here or there to get back on route. Sometimes tells me I have arrived when I'm actually still several miles away from destination. Thinking it may be my location on my Google Pixel, I went to Google Maps. 100% accurate. Went back to Waze. Started telling me I was of route and where I needed to turn. All this on a 20 mile strip of interstate.

  60. Ruben R R-avatar

It was a very great App, but now is like a billboard when you stop the vehicle and you can't see the route correctly, lost lot of notifications of some speed cameras (I pass everyday near three that other apps notify but waze don't), and when you run out of signal is completely useless (why we can't use offline maps), please take this feedbacks as possible ways to improve, thanks

  61. Lovelie Smoot-avatar

I've been using this app for 5 years and was very helpful. But just recently I noticed that it's been taking me to wrong places. I got lost three times. It was really frustrating. I wasted hours of driving and wasted gas and never found the places I was looking for. I will have to stop using Waze for now. I don't wanna get lost again. Hopefully this could be fixed and return to how good as it was.

  62. Milad Ahsani-avatar

After updating to last version, it say no internet connection and drop me out of the app!! while previous version was working properly

  63. Edmond-avatar

Not sure why people are still givingthis app so many stars, that isn't helping the developer, the app has been going downhill and as of lately it's been going down fast, what is with all the ads come on now this isn't supposed to be a distracting app but the ads not cool, in all honesty there's better navigation apps out there now, do your own research and find what's best for you

  64. Jillian Elise-avatar

I really like this app, it's very fast and simple to use, and I love that it gives you feedback on car crashes and delays. However, I would like if they had an option to show if you're driving through a sketchy area. Although it might be faster, I don't want to drive through a sketchy neighborhood just because it's a little bit quicker. If there was the option to decide on this feature that would be awesome! I also wish that there was more of a variety of voices.

Moving on to week 6. App still doesn't work on Android Auto. GPS isn't in real time - there's a 5-10 second delay and the location indicator skips to the next point. Sometimes the location indicator is not accurate. It has me 2-3 blocks away from my true location. App will periodically reboot itself. Not sure if I can rollback to previous experience version but would do so in a heartbeat. Thoughts?

Used to love this app and it was the only navigation/traffic app I used until I noticed a few weeks ago it's waaaaaaayyyyyyyy off when it comes to traffic. Luckily it's overstating instead of understating how long it'll take but I'm showing up to work a half hour early when I could be spending that time with my family instead of panicking and rushing out the door. I have recently been double-checking other nav apps to see what their estimates are and they are my "normal" covid commute.

Best GPS App. that I've ever used. The only problem that ive experienced was whenever I upgrade to another phone is transferring the app and everything i had saved and built up on Waze, its happened 3 times over the years and I had to start over each time, if only they had an 800 number or anyone to talk to, to help with the transfer. Thanks.

Hi guys. I like your application. I find it very useful but I would like to tell you about one functionality that might be nice to have. I find useful to have displayed somewhere on the screen the name of the city / village that I'm currently driving through. Also the name of the next city / village that I'll reach on my trip will be nice to have on the screen. What do you think about my proposal?

  69. Roxanne Jamel-avatar

I began using this app when I got my car as it is defaulted from Android Auto. Up until a few months ago, it was working F-I-N-E that is until the "updates" ruined it. Now, it is in a retardation state of operation. IF it engages, it's because I have to reboot my phone with EVERY use! Otherwise, it just sits!!! I think I spent 3 blocks+ watching it tell me I was still on a DD corner that didn't have a DD!! IF YOUR UPDATES ARE STILL IN BETA, DONT RELEASE IT!! THIS IS AN ACCIDENT in WAIT!!!

  70. shaundra jones-avatar

I'm not sure whether it's the app or my Android Auto, but this app has just stopped in the middle of my trip both times I've used it. It shows I need to turn on a road that I've been on for 2 or more miles and doesn't give any more directions. But, on the bright side, the directions up to that point are very easy to follow.

  71. Lauren T-avatar

Was extremely useful until it stopped being accurate. Why can't you send reports about construction or traffic once you're SAFELY at your destination? The app has not shown construction anywhere I've run into it causing me to be late for work a few times lately. Before people were reporting just fine. There's always users around, but this app is useless if you can't report things unless you're sitting in that exact area. How dangerous and ridiculous.

  72. Tony Brown-avatar

Well only been on it 12 days and I use it every day ever since I got 6pts on my licence because of them horrible money making Average speed cameras. Wish I new about this app before that happened to me. Totally outstanding App. Keep up the good work and thanks for producing this amazing App for us all to use.

  73. Robert J Beale-avatar

Good at letting you know where there are issues. Not so good at removing those issues. I have been told of an accident ahead and several miles later there is no evidence of an accident. The app also seems to be power hungry. Keeping phone connected to a charger is necessary.

  74. Dave Cpfc-avatar

Shocking now. Was a great app that took you the quickest & easiest routes. Now I think they have done a deal with the oil companies & petrol stations because it takes you the longest routes possible, also sends you down the wrong roads, sometimes where your vehicle shouldn't be going. The lane assist is non existent & the app is so slow & useless now. It is a shame because it was amazing before but now I will have to delete & look for an alternative. Google bought this app in 2013 🤔

Last version (23.6 build) bugged as hell. Also algo could be written much efficiently but do your own decisions.. Good app comparing to companions.

  76. Gordon Harlan-avatar

routing logic is flawed, at least needs to remember when I manually change from its preferred route to my preferred route instead of changing back to its preference, then selecting a third route once it's apparent I'm not going on its route. needs to show up coming lane options on the freeways like Google maps does. speedometer needs to show the current speed using three colors, green when you are at the legal speed limit, red when over the limit and yellow when going under the limit.

  77. No Name-avatar

Loved - past tense - the app. All of a sudden - after an update? - it makes me log in then after welcome dialog with my driving data, claims something is wrong and doesn't recognize me and starts the process over. WTH?! Had to Sign Up as new user, so driving destination and everything else now starting from scratch. Down to four stars.

  78. H YoOoN-avatar

Nearly involved in a terrible MVA because this app led me into opposite lane though i set to avoid difficult intersection. I am not familiar with Australia road that's why i need GPS; in this case, Waze is not reliable at all. Map is hard to read, voice indication is hard to follow, Need someone next me to read a map and guide me. Additionally, small roads are not existing either. No way to set a destination because i only know the destination only. Cute but disgusting

  79. Bob King-avatar

The text box is mid screen. The map frequently shows my car as riding through lakes and rivers while I am on a highway. Needless to say it almost never shows my trip.

  80. Adrian Murphy-avatar

Provides better real-time info than Google Maps, but isn't always as accurate. Baffles me why the annoying 'car info' glitch still hasn't been fixed after years of user complaints. The prompt just keeps reappearing unnecessarily even after I've entered my information and takes up valuable screen real estate for no good reason. Google should really combine the best of Waze and Google Maps into one single app; pointless keeping the two separate since they own both.

Great GPS app. It has features such as notifying you where police or red light cameras are. It shows the speed limit and speed you're going to provide real-time ETA's. You can send your exact location to someone via text so they see where you're driving as you're driving even without the app installed. But UI is not user friendly and routes sometimes are the longest way or rarely wrong completely (this happened only once when a detour happened on the interstate that made everyone exit).

  82. Evan Doucet-avatar

The navigation app that I started using was Google Maps, and it helped enough. Well, as a mail carrier I started using Circuit to help me deliver my packages. One of the two Map apps I could use with Circuit was Waze. I wasn't much excited about having to change, but once I used Waze, it navigated me to streets that Google Maps didn't!

  83. Paper Bag-avatar

So far so good from switching over from crummy google maps. I just wish there was an easy way to access settings. Maybe have a UI specialist take a look at your odd separation of settings, but still a good app nonetheless. Seriously, how do I disable invisible mode?????

I have been using Waze for a little over two years now and I have no complaints here! I find the 1 star reviews pretty entertaining to read because people are complaining over the most miniscule "issues." Dealing with the I-15 construction in Utah is horrific. There has been countless times when Waze has redirected me and saved me so much time. Fantastic app and I encourage more to try it out!

  85. K Jennings-avatar

I would give this app zero stars, if possible. Waze used to be my navigation app of choice, but updates have caused major failures. It reroutes me for no reason and sends me miles out of my way. Distance is incorrect and all notifications occur AFTER the correct turn. The police ahead notification is useless if I've already passed the officer. It's also added an average of 15 minutes additional time to my trips the past several times I've used the app.

  86. Tom Hat-avatar

Was my go to favourite app for driving. But recently very buggy and keeps freezing while driving on normal navigation routes. Works fine on it's own but when connected on android auto it freezes. Samsung note 8. Tried formatting my phone checked data reception.. neither have any effect. Until issue resolved I've switched to Google maps..

  87. John Hickson-avatar

Worked OK for some time, now it's back to the blank maps, stuttering display when it does sort of work .... On Ford Sync 3 fully updated and Android 9 ... And it still refuses to work properly ... Even when android auto and Google maps do !!!! .... Had enough of this and will not be using again as I need something which is reliable !!!!

Hi, my phone is android version. I can't use Waze apps already two three week and more, because it said: "No GPS. Showing approximate location".😔 I have updated. I already have open my "location access", "WiFi", "mobile data" and try more times "restart and shutdown my phone open again", still be like that "No GPS". Please solve this problems, because I love use this Waze apps, thanks🙇🏻‍♂️

  89. Aaron Lew.-avatar

App works fine if not perfect on the mobile device itself… however, It cannot keep and/or locate GPS when it is connected to my 2019 vehicle by way of android auto and a USB connection. It used to work perfectly fine but within the last 4 updates you did some they caused it to stop working… going on over a month now and I can't use my Waze if it's connected to my vehicle. I realize fixing some probs take time however the best way to figure out what the prob is is to go back 6 updates & restart

  90. Frank Davis-avatar

Overall excellent app that is very usual. I would like to see an option that allows you to mark reports vocally so you dont have to take eyes off road in order to mark traffic, hazards and police. Also there should be auto shutdown reminder if app is not used which will prevent hard battery drain. Most times trips are complete and app is running in background and phone gets hot and kills battery life. Maybe vocal reminder or text? Thank you!

  91. PM J-avatar

When using Waze be very careful! Waze has the ability to absolutely, positively get you killed. Some of the directions it provides are very dangerous especially if you dont know the area in which you are driving. My advice - shrink the map to see where Waze is taking you. While the route Waze provides might save you a minute or two it is absolutely not worth it. Just remember you dont need to follow Waze exactly. If the directions seem unsafe keep driving until you feel safe then follow Waze.

  92. naveed hussain-avatar

This used to be a great app. However, recently when I enter any destination details, it gives me wrong directions. I mean even the small arrow on the map doesn't face straight. If I'm driving on a straight road, the arrow faces towards a different direction, which makes it difficult to follow.

1st I've always been a big fan of "The Waze App", but it seems to be becoming to commerized. I wanted to answer there question regarding the ads. They didn't offer all usual options. The ads are ok, but they pop up at a critical time in filling directions. Trust me this app. has lots to offer!

  94. Donna Caissie-avatar

Everytime the app updates, I have to start from scratch, and reauthorize everything from login to carpool information. This is a real hassle when you're on the road, and all you want is directions. Thanks. While you're at it, there's another bug. When I tried to log in to my Waze account, I was presented with a notice that Waze was texting me a security code. Since my phone doesn't text, I chose the option to get a call. Almost 24 hours later, and I'm still waiting for that call.

  95. Romeo Rabbit-avatar

Used Waze years ago. Never let me down and was the best GPS/route application EVER! However, I do wish they would make it trucker friendly (CDL DRIVERS NEED THIS APP FOR THAT DESPERATELY!). (truck routes, bridge high etc.). Logged many miles with this app, until I needed a truck GPS. Now that I'm back over the road, I am forced to use Google maps, since I don't possess a truck GPS (knowing Google owns Waze now and has integrated many of it's features) I'm going to give it another go....

  96. Pamela Kaiser-avatar

I like the app, easy directions easy to see and understand. I've had a problem twice with losing internet connection and once getting lost. The other problem is when you know an easier route and it won't let you reroute. And of course no direction it's just pick out destination and put in and hope you know fairly where you're heading.

Great app until recently. The past week the app has given me an estimated time to srrive to my destination of 20 more minutes compared to google map. I have always trusted waze over any other maps app, but once im jalf way to my destination the ETA drops to the same that google maps originaly gave me. It is no longer accurate and there is no traffic nor any kind of closures. I looke at the entire route to see what is causing traffic and there is nothing.

  98. Lori Hoskin-avatar

Very clear both Audio and visual directions and made even easier using Google assistant integrated into the app to tell Waze where you want to go. Soooo many more options and perks that Google Maps hasn't integrated yet, making it a safer and much more user friendly experience overall.

  99. Eti Tal Negev-avatar

If I choose not to give the app contact permission I cannot login. Both the login and back button stop working and I'm stuck there. You are violating Google's own guidelines of giving the user a clear understanding of why you even need those permissions and it's unclear why you need that, and prevent login without it. I'm an Android developer and I would have been embarrassed to publish an app like this...

This used to be a great app. Now it's bloated with ads and unrequested/unnecessary options that seriously interfere with the navigation. Plus the navigation functionality has seriously deteriorated! It gives incorrect distance and sends me to a completely different address several miles out of the way. Completely worthless. I am very disappointed and frustrated. With each update in the past year, it seems to be getting worse and worse! Here it is several months later and I was right. It's worse!
