Exceptional app! I use Waze for all of my trips, even local. With real time traffic, you always get the fastest way to get to your destination. There have been a few times where my husband and I questioned why Waze was taking us the "long way". So we would go the way we knew to be faster and there would end up being an accident or construction. We would then realize too late, why it had directed us the "long way". We now have a saying and we live by it "never doubt the Waze". 😂

  2. Jason Gasaway-avatar

Pros:1. Best UI on the market 2. Can look up business by names and navigate there. 3. Lots of features. Cons: 1.Has issues finding some places. Jumps back and forth changing directions 2. Takes unnecessary turns. 3. Does not show address when you arrive. 4. Shows adds in navigation mode

  3. Min Cheol Seo-avatar

I like the app. I use this when I was in UK and whenever I go outside of Korea. But quite simply, it is unusuable in Korea. It gives me incorrect directions, i.e. telling me to go straight when there is no signal to go straight, etc etc. Had the same issue while using OSM. I like Waze, but I gotta use KakaoNavi while I'm staying in Korea. Any chance that you can fix the issue?

  4. Fergy Turf-avatar

Was good, until the last update. They did an update this week and ever since it's been searching for networks constantly, even when I have full bars. Also it has changed some personal setting, very annoying. I'll add more stars if they fix their update. Update: Their support got back with me pretty quickly but everything they suggested i had all ready done. In frustration i uninstalled and downloaded again. That has fixed the problem, proving it was their side and not my carrier's.

  5. Lucas Valler-avatar

Good but it needs options for driving trucks, not just car, motorbike and taxi. As a truck driver it would be very handy to have a vehicle height option so I can stop being sent on roads with low underpasses that I can't get under. Very frustrating and sometimes very dangerous to try and turn around and navigate another route

  6. Brailyme-avatar

A very handy app when you need to go somewhere but sometimes the GPS cannot be tracked and then it will cause some problems. And sometimes the route will change by itself for no reason (but it rarely happens nowadays). And furthermore, especially on KL roads–where we need to take the exact right streets to head to where we needed, may be very confusing– it does not help when the navigation app only tells u to go straight when there are many routes ahead of you.

  7. Melinda Baker-avatar

Great app. I like it better than Google maps. This app tells you when there's cops in the area, and where they are. It also lets me know about 'Red light cameras', which is awesome. I can't keep getting those $180. tickets anymore. Plus, I listen to Spotify and it connects me to it anytime I press the Spotify tab. Im happy!!

  8. Peter Romano-avatar

Why is it that you can never, ever update this app without completely breaking it ??? Why cant I just type in my destination when I am connected to my car, and why do I have to tell Waze to GO so many times ??? I tell it twenty three ninety three Central Park Ave, I tell it GO, THREE TIMES, and it does NOTHING !!!!!! YOUR APP SUCKS. I WISH I COULD GIVE IT A -10 JUST FOR WASTING MY TIME!!! YOU NEED TO STOP TELLING ME TO DRIVE WHEN ONLY NECESSARY!!!

  9. A Google user-avatar

I had hoped that after moving from a Moto G4 on Nougat to a MotoG7Play and Android Pie, this app would stop crashing: it didn't. Pity, because the features are excellent. It's not good if it crashes every 100 miles and it neither responds to voice control nor restarts where you left off. I'll go back to plain old Google Maps for navigating, which doesn't crash......ever.

  10. Phil C-avatar

After the latest update, where is the voice command function? I can't get it to work when I say OK Waze. In Australia we can't touch the phone while driving, so the OK waze function is very important, please bring back the last version, this version is bad!!!

  11. Think Outside-avatar

Mostly navigates quite well Alerts are as accurate as expected given they are user based. However Waze is missing roads that have been there 150 years.... the town is marked on the map but the multiple sealed roads to it are not???? Also I repetitively input speed limits for over a year on roads that Waze doesn't have limits for but they never show up! I won't be wasting my time doing that anymore. Love the 2D map view with direction of travel always up, Something all gps do except Google....

  12. Dee Stocky-avatar

I haven't used any other GPS app since I was told about Waze. Good to know about hazards, road closures, and accidents. Wish there was some kind of reward we could get for the reports we make like a special emoji or $ off to go towards something. Idk some way to thank all the apps users

  13. Rachael Ponce-avatar

I dont know if anyone else is having this problem but my map seems to get all jumpy lately. All of a sudden it will think I'm off on another street or somewhere else. It's really weird and frustrating. Just today I was on the freeway and it started acting like I was somewhere else off the freeway!

  14. M Allison-avatar

I love Waze I tell everyone how great it is. The police alert feature is, awesome ! It's also safer for us regular drivers Because the ones that want to speed see the notification of an officer so they withhold from speeding. And that could save lives 😊💜 Thank you for the app its awesome!

  15. Imran A-avatar

Takes too long to connect with GPS. When using Google maps and waze at the same time I loose location on wave while Google map has me at the correct location. Takes very long to pickup signal and looses often. I am using galaxy s20 and this problem existed on my galaxy s7 aswell. It works perfect on my iPhone x though. I don't know why this problem exist for androids for years now.

  16. ThAgRiNcH-avatar

So awful how it's soo cartoonish! You can't get a real view of the city when in need of it. It asks you which address you wish to go to, by giving 10 different addresses, even though you litteraly just typed in exactly you wish to go on the key pad . Honestly I hate all those things about it.

  17. Bob Cramer-avatar

The navigation works well and seems to actively route around traffic. The search feature is terrible. You can't sort the list by distance, and half the results are hundreds of miles away, while missing places under 2 miles away. Too bad.

  18. Antonios Karagiannis-avatar

    Antonios Karagiannis

I use it constantly with Android auto or standalone. What I don't like is that I can't cancel/stop the navigation using Android auto voice command, it doesn't support multiple stops like Google maps, the Android auto search results for a stop along the route doesn't show the distance off route.

  19. Umtar Parr-avatar

Been using for years, brilliant app. . . . . . May i make a suggestion though? Under vehicle type, could you maybe be able to look into added vans/trucks, for roads that are narrow or have low bridges. Also fast food restaurants with low barriers etc.

  20. Louis Bond-avatar

It works pretty well but it lacks a feature in android auto which makes it pretty unusable doing ride share. I really need to be able to toggle tolls and highways without unplugging the phone from the car, opening the app on the phone, and doing it there.

  21. Todd Hogan-avatar

Good all around, easy interface, quick loading. The ads are easy to get rid of. A quality GPS except for the car pool button please give us the chance to disable it or make it so it disappears after 5 seconds if it accidentally gets hit.

  22. Brandon Brown-avatar

I'm not able to put traffic cams when I discover a one that isn't already on the map. I try to put a speed camera signal when there wasn't one already and it wouldn't show on the map. Update this issue

  23. T. Patterson-avatar

I drove from Mphs to Va & back. Sometimes it is on point with police radar & occassionally it was too late with the notice or no notice at all. Maybe not enough Wazers at the time but I doubt it on I-40. It was valuable but not reliable enough to avoid getting pulled over. I didn't get a ticket because I realized I couldn't rely on the app so I stayed the speed limit.

  24. Dan Gahlinger-avatar

I used to love this product but now many trips in a row it's given me completelying wrong locations and directions. google maps is far superior in every way. uninstalling and unlikely I'll ever use again, it's that bad

  25. Javier Peña-avatar

I like all the extra features that give you like letting you know when its police, traffic cameras, broken cars ahead of you even death animals,!!!!! That's not crazy to you? I love it !!!!!

  26. Fractal Codex-avatar

Love the interface, much better than Google maps, except for lane guidance. On the downside the app often struggles with internet connection on mobile data :( Volume controls also need improving.

  27. Kimberly Wolfe-avatar

Solid GPS. I give it a 4.5. Is much more built up in Seattle than it was 5 years ago when I first installed it. Only thing it needs for me to give it 5 stars is more accuracy at the destination. When I am on the correct block, it should show the individual buildings or houses so I know where the destination is. Currently, the endpoint can be 1-3 houses away from the correct address. I often find myself opening Google Maps for that last little piece of info as to which house.

  28. Malik Von-avatar

Great app. I would like better listing when searching addresses and an option to notify for new speed camera. Speed cameras have become mobile and users should be able to notify othera

  29. Sumier-avatar

Really good app. Like the real time alerts. However one issue that needs to be fixed as used to work previously... when making or receiving a call Waze should come back on screen rather than wait for call to end!

  30. William Knestrick-avatar

    William Knestrick

Great app, but android auto interface has many needless button pressing before you can get back to concentrating on the road. Search results are 2 steps below google maps. Waze has a great thing with the navigation tags though.

  31. Ninja76-avatar

It good., but the map is lacking informatin. This should have like a satellite feture, and update the road terrain because its so out of date. Please improve app becouse it has potential.

  32. Andrew Saderholm-avatar

    Andrew Saderholm

With numerous other options available including a nav screen in the car, Waze is always our go to for navigation and traffic. It is just what we want.

  33. Angel Moua-avatar

I didn't really like it. It took me to a longer route. I couldn't open multiple apps while this app was open. Also, when there is an exit I have to take, it's harder to read on the app because it doesn't stand out and blends in with all the other wordy directions. Use it, you'll know what I mean. I think I'll stick with Google Maps for now.

  34. Andy Fielder-avatar

Very well developed app. Map inaccuracies are too difficult to address in the app. Currently the Cookie Monster voice jumps between Imperial measurements and metric measurements.

  35. Patricia Purchase-avatar

    Patricia Purchase

It's great for reports of incidents cause it's a live stream people know what's up a head from a pot hole to a accident it's great and easy to use. People can report directly to inform other users of the app.

  36. Amber Fish-avatar

The only thing I see that this app could use is a walking or biking option for traveling. Google maps shows the estimated travel time walking or biking. I check with them and then hop onto Waze and use it anyways.

  37. Henry Jr Revita-avatar

    Henry Jr Revita

I am very happy to have Waze on my phone! I am able to cut through traffic easier and be where I need to be more consistently. Will recommend this to people I care about.

  38. Hamid Sharifi-avatar

very hard to find destination point on map , and if you are on the way doesn't let you find destination and jumps back on your location.

  39. Stuart Wright-avatar

Great app. The crowd sourced traffic data is great. The app can also find the nearest petrol station which is a life saver. *Update March 2020*. The "submit fuel prices" feature works fine now. Changing my review to 5 stars. The only draw back is the "submit nearby fuel prices " feature , which rarely works. It normally claims it can not find a GPS signal, even though other location based parts of the app are functioning fine.

  40. Kent Nelson-avatar

This is a great app and I have used it consistently for many months now. Be advised that the more you use it the greater the chance of screen burn-in. Hopefully this can be addressed by the developer.

  41. Laina Fantasy-avatar

This is a really good traffic map system. Its search system is limited, but it does have the benefit of being category-based, which is great when looking for gas or coffee on the go. The traffic and hazard warnings are SO useful. I'm also a big fan of it being integrated with Spotify and Pandora for music on the go. If the map is ever outdated, you can also suggest map corrections, and the team actually listens! Great app, so user-friendly, totally recommend it!

  42. Angie Rozar-avatar

The most awesome map app. Several different voices you can choose from, even the cookie monster. Very interactive program. The first time i used it, it told me there was road kill on the shoulder. I thought how good is thier satellite? Then i learned you can put in almost anything, good or bad to help fellow motorists. The app even asks you if a cop, road hazard, or whatever is still there and you can tell them immediately. The app tells you how many people you have helped with your reports.

  43. Christopher Lambert-avatar

    Christopher Lambert

Waze is amazing, I have started using it on my daily commute. Only a few times have I caught myself switching back to Google Maps. Still could use some work like the map colors and better traffic recognition. I guess my biggest suggestion right now would be to find a way to integrate the map chat feature on android auto. otherwise, great functional app for the commuter! Lately, I've been experiencing a GPS lock issue when using in conjunction with Android Auto. Please fix

  44. Mary G-avatar

♡ This app is the coolest, on point, Traffic Alert GPS Map out there. You get a heads up on what's going on and when it was reported, you can also give reports. I love it. It's fun. Real, live action. It's like we're a big family looking out for each other on the road. I never take a trip without my Waze! It's been on point like every time I've used it. It just keeps getting BETTER! But, the first time I run into some BS, I will MOST DEFINITELY update my comment i got here. But until then. 💯✔♡

  45. Jhean W-avatar

It worked fine before the latest update but now it just keeps saying "No network connection. Try again later." and boots me out the app even thought both data and location are turned on and working on my phone. In short, I can not use this app anymore. Edit: if anyone else encountered the same issue, you may want to try uninstalling and re-downloading the app. It worked for me. I honestly should have done that before rating the app 2 stars. I will now rate the app 5 stars.

  46. Y E R T-avatar

I love this app!!! The directions are WAY BETTER than Google maps. I love how you are able to choose your route from a list given by the app. You are able to use the app without using the navigation; you can see where police are, hazards along your current road, and see how many "wazers" are around you to determine the accuracy of the posts.

  47. willy scrabeck-avatar

Works great! Can play music through it and warns you of traffic issues and speed traps. Best app on the store imo.

  48. Stacie Alvarado-avatar

    Stacie Alvarado

I love that you can record your own voice commands! Just had my husband do it. Now he can always tell me where to go! Lmao 🙂

  49. Brian Alstatt-avatar

On the very first attempt to use it in the city I kept getting a "no GPS coverage, make sure you're outside" message. This was happening with all permissions allowed and while moving down the interstate. Only one time throughout the entire trip did it ever show me even close to my actual location. Most times it wasn't even in the same area. Not worth keeping just for traffic notifications and events since navigation is nearly impossible without GPS coverage.

  50. Meivelyn Caliboso-avatar

    Meivelyn Caliboso

I've been using waze for the longest time. I sometimes have to use Google Maps for specific streets that are not updated with Waze. BUT AFTER THE LATEST UPDATE, I CANNOT RELY ON WAZE ANYMORE. It can't connect to GPS anymore so it can't tell which side of the road I'm on. The routes loads in every turn. I am using 2 phones and it's the same on both phones. It makes me lose my way.

  51. Joshua Zhao-avatar

If you use Android Auto and GPS doesn't work or freezing when ur phone's screen is locked, change battery restrictions of this app to no restriction. That should fix the problem.

  52. Gavin Sparkie Mavic Pro lee-avatar

    Gavin Sparkie Mavic Pro lee

Absolutely love this app so much more fun to use than Google maps. Google you need to put together Waze and gmaps into one application.

  53. John Carwile-avatar

Ads while driving. Because profit is more important than your safety and the core function of the application. If I could pay to remove ads and "point of interest" suggestions as well as hide the carpool feature that I would never use, this would be a pretty decent navigation app. As it stands this is an annoying safety hazard far more than it is a useful tool.

  54. Cathy K-avatar

Ever since you upgraded this app it is useless with my android auto. It doesn't work at all. I have to keep unlocking my phone, in order for it to keep working. None of my settings will keep the phone open all the time. This has just became a useless app that I have to uninstall. Even though I'm not thrilled about Google maps, at least it works with android auto. Terrible update. Who writes your programs and updates?

  55. Louis Seven-avatar

It will make you go out of your way and add 2-3 miles to your route that is 10 minutes if it thinks it saves you 10 seconds. Also be ready to zigzag thru town with waze and/or take rough terrain, back roads, you name it! Lastly the box for directions and informations on Android auto takes half the screen. Whoever is in charge of their UX/UI need to teleport to 21st century.

  56. Mike Glappa-avatar

Developer needs to randomly move the stationary objects on the screen - my screen has burn in due to usage. If your going to use the app - use it sparingly. Samsung S9 edge

  57. Harley Quinn-avatar

I love it!!! When my friend drives me to and from work, theres alot, i mean ALOT of backed up traffic and Waze gives us MANY different options to go around it and even shows accidents way ahead of time so you can avoid all the traffic build up thats YET to come.......... Great and perfect app!!!!!!! <3<3<3 <3<3<3<3<3<3 P.S.. I FREAKING, MOST ABSOLUTELY LOOOOOOVE THE COOKIE MONSTER VOICE OPTION <3<3<3<3<3<3<3

  58. Angela Hall-avatar

I love that it tells us how fast or slow we are going. if there are cops or any cars stopped. love how it tells us if there is any traffic or road work. and I love being able to see others with the app and honking at them. it's a fun and really helpful app!

  59. Md Kayyum-avatar

It used be great for years but recently the app has crashed so many times that I started using Google maps again. Every time I select "Jane voice including street names" it goes to other voice option which doesn't tell the street names. It got really annoying and I uninstalled the app! Hopefully they fix it so I can start using it again, btw I use Google pixel 2xl.

Waze, It is a great App, show the way to my destination. The App need a bit of improvement, it still not stable at times, easily disturb my other reception and can not function well, redirect wrong location, when come to location it does not show whether is on the left or right of the road, and slow on directions arrow pointing, mean poor in actual or specific location. Appreciate so much for your creation to help us enjoy our driving. Have a great day ahead! Thank you.

I use this negivation regularly, to be honest it's the best app for speed cameras, speed limits, accidents ahead and police hidden in motorway 🛣, thanks to developers of this app god bless you If you can can you guys add the following: Categories, services Things to do such as where to go attractions, parks. Alert location where its on right or left like good maps 'your destination is on the left' with message on screen and sound 🔊 Thanks alot

  62. Crystal Jackson-avatar

    Crystal Jackson

I used to love this app and now I can't stand it for several reasons. 1) when turning, it doesn't tell you the name of the road so you are forced to look down at your phone (distracting the driver). 2) it doesn't tell you ahead of time that you reached your destination, it just all the sudden tells you, gives you no time to stop or change lanes in the middle of town. 3) it also doesn't tell you what side your destination is on! Sadly, google does it better now :*(

  63. J SB-avatar

Not working on Samsung S20. Can't find location most of the time. Loses GPS constantly. Google Maps works perfect. Both have background data, location, etc enabled.

  64. Przemko Tylzanowski-avatar

OK, so crashes stopped which is nice. The remaining problems are: - too complicated menu when you drive, warnings hidden to deep. I would take top 4 (speed trap, cops, constructions and accident) and have them as a screen icons OR just under the orange circle - the traffic congestion is different in Waze and Google Maps- why???? Should be the same - the weirdest one. When I ask about gas stations, it gives me often the stations that ore 200km away and not the nearest ones. Google Maps shows all the stations correctly. VERY ANNOYING - some speed traps give audible sounds others not. I cannot watch the screen when I drive so please, LOUDER sound and on VERY sped trap - aesthetically it would be nice to lower the horizon so one can a see a bit of sky at the top of the screen :):):)

  65. trenton sharp-avatar

I love this app! But.. I hope you guys at Waze know what kind of capabilities you really have! I personally love this app more than Google itself, but if you had a little more personal things added then it would be even better. For example, more voices like the cookie monster voice would be amazing. Like add the navigator from the forza horizon game! Anyways I'm just giving ideas, but this is a really great app.

  66. Cassie Hoskins-avatar

I had 2 different voices telling me different directions at the same time! the lady voice was great, very directive- in 200m use the second lane to turn left into green street. the male voice said in 400m turn right. for obvious reasons, I ended up lost in the manic streets of Sydney. it does not recognise voice control well and I cannot use the phone whislt driving so had no choice but to use it until I could pull over. would NOT recommend this app to anyone!!

Great app, but lately it's been giving me issues. It won't close in the background and is draining my battery now.

  68. Lyle Nielsen-avatar

Have to run Maps for about ten minutes before switching to Waze to achieve GPS lock. Waze will not get GPS lock on initial startup.

  69. Jeremy Johnson-avatar

Evwrything works fine again... 👍👍 update: after a updat awhile ago, the nighttime colors will not come on automatically anymore through android auto. I have to adjust the brightness manualy everytime.😭 Waze is awesome! But I would like to see a lot more points of interest added and the ability to see the ones I want to see (gas stations, food, shopping, atm, etc...)

Waze had improved a lot since the beta introduction of car pool. It used to be a separate app, more its just a separate tab which is still much more convenient. A few things are still quirky like: - car pool functions are not available in Honda Handsfree Integration requiring unplugging of the phone from the car system to confirm pick up and drop off. - some of the pick up and drop off locations are a bit awkward. But bread and butter functions like rerouting & road information are perfect.

I use to use Google maps and hop onto this one because it was more accurate. Past few months it has gone down hill. Taking me on longer routes that take more time and 2-3 times to a unknown address when I double check the address too! Sometimes it takes me a few miles away from where I'm suppose to go! It also use to tell me which side the location is on, now it doesn't. So when I get to the location spot I have to search for both side of the road. SMH!!! Waze you disappoint me now.

  72. Bob Ellis-avatar

Overall a good app. It is inconsistent on showing distances to hazards, police, etc. Sometimes it counts down the distance and other times it doesn't. Randomly stops working while being used for navigation. Also needs to be able to select which warnings you want to see/hear. I don't care about every red light camera and stopped vehicle. An observant driver will be aware and most are wrong or no longer relevant.

  73. Kris Etzler-avatar

Google Maps ain't got nothin on this. Love how it gives me the best route and routinely updates to let me know when things hazards and roadblocks are going to be a hindrance. Like that fellow Wazers can report things like an object in the road, a pulled over car , ice on the road, and even cops on the route. Who wouldn't love that? Try it!

  74. Joshua Thomas-avatar

****Never accurate with camera info. no longer able to report cameras.***** Cannot keep waze on top meaning when you take or call someone the phone locks and you have to unlock it while driving to see directions. Sometimes waze will give you a direction that's blatantly longer just so it makes it look like they giving a better direction.

love the app and community powered hazard alerts, however it crashes half the time I try to use the app and often cannot load until closed and its cache cleared multiple times. Using an LG V30S Update 3/15/20: App will now not load any route, times out trying to find one. Completely useless as an app, hate to have to uninstall but it no longer performs its basic functions.

  76. Lee Smith-avatar

It's a good app, I like the fact that road users can share hazards etc immediately. There's been an update through Android auto side of things which is a bit of a pain, it puts the info screen in the way and squashes the map. Why can't we move the info screen accross or resize it? A bit of customisation here wouldn't go a miss.

Great app but in Android auto too much the screen is used up on useless things like a blue gradiant on the top. You guys need to overhaul the Android auto screen completely. Moving the speed monitor to the left side in Android auto closer to the driver in left hand drive countries would be great. Also regardless of if i say show speed limit always or not the app only shows me the speed limit when it wants to.

  78. James Smith-avatar

As everyone knows, Apple maps just suck. Google maps has some nice extras no one else has. But Waze is the best overall: the traffic updates are the fastest, the rerouting on the fly is a godsend, knowing when obstacles (accidents, police, construction, etc.) are coming up helps one to prepare to change lanes or take other actions to get past it safely & efficiently. Go Waze!

  79. Nancy Earles-avatar

Widget for Samsung Galaxy phones does not work. You can load it but can't open it. Too many steps to get to the search bar and input an address. Can't add an address to favorites from the map page, you have to go to another page to input it from memory as a favorite or a special category like home or work. Steps need to be simplified to make it faster to get your instructions to where you are going. Many times it takes me way out of the way, adding several unnecessary miles to my trip.

  80. Mark Allen-avatar

I'm Knight level on the app. Would be 4-5 ⭐ if not for one glaring deal-breaker. As you near your destination, the "take a picture" option will pop up, and the address text will similtaneously get reduced to a font that is too small to read at a glance. I need the # for the address, not a prompt to be taking photos of people's houses like a weirdo. Have you clowns not heard of Google Street View? It's even worse if you're around a corner or two, yet within proximity of the picture prompt.

Only thing i would like to see is more integration with more music apps as well as audiobook apps.

  82. Shana-avatar

wish its able to connect to Bluetooth audio so i can hear the directions just like with google maps ..also it doesn't seem to notify me anymore regarding cams...it sucks now.

  83. Dragos Tinta-avatar

More and more useless. Way worse and accurate with latest updates, rerouting is more and more painfully worse.

It's the best GPS around, but I find I'm having to delete the app every couple weeks and then reinstall because the map ends up being blacked out and cannot see where I am going. This seems to be happening more and more often. I then reinstall it and it's back to normal, until it bugs out again.. Any reason for this? I've tried the various options that is mentioned on various help sites, but nothing really helps other then starting again.

I love using Waze but occasionally I find myself not getting directed to the exact area I'm going like apartment complexes. It directs me away from the actual building and I have to drive around to find what I'm looking for. Other then that, it's a great app. Just needs a little updating.

  86. Sophie May-avatar

What a gem! I found waze so easy to use, realtime updates from other people around you which you can communicate with. Advanced warnings of accidents, traffic, hazards etc and speed, both current and legal limit for the road you're on. You can change so many details to make it work for you such as car type, fuel type and speed can be changed from mph to kmh for driving on the continent. Highly recommended.

love be the app. seems to have been a recent change that hooks popup messages to the vehicle indicator on the screen. Horrible idea. popup messages about hazards block out the location indicators and w good portion of the map area showing the immediate route ahead. messages should be tucked up in the corner not plopped right on top of your immediate route. Did no answer me actually road test this?

  88. Josh-avatar

I use Waze frequently. It's usually quite good at helping me avoid traffic. What I don't like is in planning my route, I often want to add a stop for coffee or something. When I search for the coffee place, Waze just gives me a generic list - this is irritating. I want Waze to tell me "you're going to take route X, so this stop is on your route, or 2 minutes off your route." I think it might do that while on the go, but, for planning purposes, this strikes me as something so basic....

  89. Vijay Nair-avatar

This is the only app i trust and use regularly for navigation and traffic update. I just wished it could show designated speed of all the roads on a small bubble(Just like Highway Number or Name is shown on the map). I also wished if the bubble showing current speed had an option to be moved on right side of the screen because it normally gets obstructed by my steering wheel while i keep it on dock, Everytime i need to peek to see my current speed while driving which is quite risky all the time.

  90. Anay Makan-avatar

Mixed feelings between waze and Google maps. I like the better reports on waze and route planning but traffic is sometimes hit or miss and it doesn't always show on the map. Also when you but an address over 100 miles away. The app is a lot slower with animations and the scale of the navigation line when moving around the map

  91. Don Legardye-avatar

Waze is good for all those Speeders out there! But should be an easier way to alert others when police are present..like a police button on screen that catches the place u noticed them and the side of freeway the police are at when they are spotted! But other then that waze is the #$%÷%÷÷:!\ my freinds!!!! If u dont have it...GET IT!!

  92. G Lacsina-avatar

Updating my review again. 1 star for being practically useless the past few days. It takes forever to find the network/gps/ calculate route. Meanwhile, Google maps is able to do all this in less than 5 seconds. Edit: it started to work a little better for a while. But as of today Waze could not connect to gps for the past 4 days. Even restarting my phone could not fix it like it used to. It's only barely usable as it can still somehow show my location as I drive along the route.

  93. winokur89-avatar

Rarely works. Often glitchy and buggy. Will stop working randomly. Won't restart and will often not start routes. Multiple error messages without saying what went wrong. Despite having connection to the internet I get nothing. The UI is hard to use and the map is cartoonish looking. Only thing good about it is that it'll save time when it works which is about a fifth of the time.

Same as Maps - in the beginning magical and very helpful. Now it's turned into the most frustrating part of driving. The application is very slow (quite often I've already taken wrong turn by the time it shows me route), inaccurate (position of roads or proposed turns often incorrect) and pauses almost non-stop. Plus, it's ETA has become incorrect. I do not have a fancy phone which is why it might be like this, but it was not initially a problem. Officially I'm looking for a new GPS now

  95. Gary Jensen-avatar

Love it. I use it all the time even when I know where I am going. It gives up to date information on road conditions etc.

The app is great and useful. Except for the pop up of undownloaded voice. It's disruptive, and cause trouble by requiring you to press the button for its removal. Please, make the download manager more capable, or at least, make that pop up time limited. Thank you. I put 1 star because of the pop up. 5 stars, when it's fixed.

  97. Mario Saccucci-avatar

After you using the Google Maps app for years, I decided to give this a try since it owned by Google. Wow just wow! Way more features and users. Hidden police reports and other hazards on the highways and roads are always reported so far in my experience.. I think I found my new to go for navigation.

When I tell you I cannot live without this app >>that is no exaggeration. From the second I hook it up to my Bluetooth and buckle my seatbelt we're off to the races. I could type 20 pages ab this app but I'll keep it short and sweet. Amazing navigation & so satisfying to use. °••I 💋W☮️Ä❤️Z🕉️Ē🌻••°

The app I still want to love. Unfortunately, there is no complete guide to the icons and sounds. Even then, it might be useful if it didn't crash when you needed it most. I have tried it off and on over the past 18 months, and it's actually worse each time. "Waze learns from you" - - no it no longer does. Worse, some of the directors are stupid. Go right and make 2 lefts around the block when all you have to do is drive straight and make a right? I give up.

Waze doesn't work on Android auto on Galaxy S20 Ultra. Can't get a GPS position. Google maps works flawlessly. Ironic
