    prime If you like looking at a black screen. I cannot even get the bloody app to load half the time, even when I am connected to wifi. The only things I risk purchasing on the app is music downloads. For everything else I just go to the website. Life is much easier and less stressful that way.

    prime video I am not sure why other people on here are having issues, but this app fulfills almost everything the desktop experience does. My own experience is on a Note 3, so maybe having a decent phone would help. Bottom line, it may not be perfect, but compacted into a small space, it sure does pretty fine.

    stock Honestly I love amazon and its my go to for shopping for gifts especially since I'm a new mom. I download this app on my droid thinking it would help cause I can't always be near a computer. Every time I go to look at a category like 'Today's Deals' the entire thing closes on me and I'm back to my home screen. I use this app just to tell me the deal of the day now.

    customer service Yeah sure it has more basic functionality than it used to, but it takes up way too much space for being still a very simple program, and uses too much memory, and too much battery life, where older versions had none of these problems and were relatively pretty much the same thing. Why this has become bloated, I cannot say.

    smile Amazon keeps innovating with this app. The bar code scanning is amazingly accurate. A player for Prime movies is now included and ordering is almost too simple. I do have to knock it down a star for not allowing Chromecast support for Prime movies because Amazon wants to put their Fire devices.

    video I used to love this app, but after the last update I am now getting advertisements in my notification tray. It's not enough that I pay for Amazon prime? It's not enough that I spend my $ with you? You have to put advertisements in my notifications? You have gone too far Amazon! Uninstall!




    careers i bought a wireless mouse.. for some pity reason it stopped working after using it for 9days.. return pick up was also arranged by them and the company returned my money as what i paid, within 5 days for no extra charges :)

    It won't let mw sign into my account! I can do it on the internet fine but when I try on here it doesn't work! If I click forgot password all it does is make me type in the letters and them that doesn't work and I have to type in my zip code which ALSO, doesn't work. I've tried and tried and it's gotten very very it won't even let me sign in from the app at all. It makes me type in the letters and brings me right to the internet. This is getting really annoying.

    This app has become problematic over the past several months. I'm an Amazon Prime customer and love Amazon, but I can't complete purchases on the app - it freezes and I have to go to my regular computer to complete the transaction. I've cleared cache, cleared data, uninstalled, rebooted, reinstalled - and the problem still exists. Additionally, the app developers need to make some overall upgrades ... how about saved searches?

    Use with caution .Don't be surprised if your average bank account nose dives after downloading. Amazon has everything I've ever searched for. Some at normal prices and others at low prices. Customer service was great in my cases but only used it about 4 times.

    I absolutely loved this app, until you got rid of the barcode searching functionality. now the only other option for searching is using that weird scan the product itself thing and that's kind of useless if you're shopping for like clothes or something.

    It uses 30mb of ram when I'm not using it and it keeps draining my battery. I force stop it but it starts back up again. Please fix now it has a hard time loading pages and signing in.

    This is really starting to get annoying. Every time I click on "My Orders" the application shuts down. If I can't view my orders then I'm really gonna stop using this application and Amazon all together. I think It's very important to be able to look at your orders. Especially now around Christmas time when I'm spending a lump sum of money on just one thing. Please fix or I will uninstall and delete my account.

    I love Amazon and buy more than I should from them. I use their app from a One Plus One phone and the app is buggy and continuously performs accidental purchases. It doesn't even ask/verify purchases. I have to continuously check my orders to make sure I don't get charged/receive unwanted products. Please fix this, its very inconvenient and frustrating. Otherwise a great app.

    Twice in one day this app has consumed over half of my cpu. I have a Samsung Galaxy S3. I've also read this complaint by others. This is when not in use as well. Please fix this issue. If this issue isn't addressed soon I will stop my Amazon Prime subscription and delete all apps. I have other apps I would prefer my phone resources to be dedicated to.

    When I feed my postal code to the app it shows no service to the postal code mentioned, so what's the point of downloading such an online app. Besides you guys boasts of the being amongst the best. Sorry I don't think so. So if you don't accommodate my demand then why should I spend space on my mobile for your app.

    I don't shop online very often, so I was only interested in this app for instant video. However, the app requires that you download a second app from outside the app store, requiring that one make changes to phone settings. This isn't hard for me to do, but it's probably the only major app out there that requires this. I feel bad for the less tech-savvy folks that, even if they figure it out, will now be less secure after changing their phone settings.

    For some reason when I access my wishlists or try to add an item to my wishlists, nothing pops up. They still exist on the website though so please get that fixed for the app. I'm having the same problem in iOS 8.

    I loved this app for a long time. The only thing that used to bother me was everytime viewed and item and wanted to go back it would take me back to typing the search. So if u like to set filters and compare it can get very annoying. But most recently it would ask me to re sign in when I wanted to check out, no prob don't mind.but it won't work ! I tried uninstalling and reinstalling now it plain won't let me sign in at all !Extremely disappointed. will change to 5 if probe fixed.

    To me, the mark of a good mobile app is how closely it can match the control of a desktop version. If it comes off as a dumbed-down "kiddie" version for dummies, then it has failed. If it is significantly more difficult to navigate than a desktop version, then it has failed even worse. This app has failed even worse.

    This app eats away your battery, makes your phone hot, and constantly registers scrolls as taps. So instead of moving down the page, it jumps to another page. Overall, this app is buggy, slow, and power hungry. Use the mobile site instead.

    Every single time i hit "your orders" the app crashes on my LG Optimus G. Reboot and reinstalling have no impact. Worked fine a few weeks ago. I am forced to use my tablet or the site itself for order updates.

    Love shopping and buying on Amazon. But now, since updating the app, after typing in search bar and list of items comes up, when I click on an item, then try to go back to item list, it returns to search bar instead. Then I have to start a new search for the same items. Going back should bring up the same item in the previous list of items, without having to start a new search. This is very frustrating!!! Please fix the problem.

    This app has caused me to inadvertently purchase 2 items with the one click purchase button. The issue is when I swipe up or down it thinks it was not a swipe, but I was selecting. It does it constantly while navigating amazon. It makes it nearly impossible to use the app. I simply have to use the website. I have an htc one m8 with cyanogenmod 11.

    The app has never over charged me or anything like that. The only problem I have is since the last update it keeps restarting over and over I don't mean when I'm on it I mean when I close it and clear recently used apps it keeps restarting by itself I'm guessing in the background or as my cleaner says secretly. It slows my phone down and makes it hot please do an update and fix the restarting problem otherwize Amazon is Awesome

    I hate other shopping sites when I purchase a memory card, a tablet, a pen drive and a mobile phone. What an excellent delivery. Because they love customers. Fraud Indian sites already beaten by Amazon. I don't want mega discount. I don't want any other offers. Only need best shipping and best packaging. I found amazon too lately. After flip kart and snapdeal..Only drawback for Amazon is product gets out of stock quickly. So please buy products as much as faster.

    For some reason on my note 4 and note 3 when u search for an item it'll come up with results but the image of the products will be blurry unless u click on the item then it'll focus. Can't really search if products are not clear!

    Only had one bad experience here with a jewelry seller. Saying it was pure sterling silver but when I got it home and wore it for a few days the color changed to brass. It was fake. Tried to get assistance from them and they ignored my response after I gave them my order number. I talked with Amazon directly and they gave me a credit for it. Which was what the company I bought it from should have done.

    So yeah I know were supposed to sign in but ever since the last update I enter my information and it doesn't sign me in it just stays on the sign in screen and shows no indication that it's working. Also waited for a few minutes to see if it was just slow but nothing. Please fix this issue xause i would rather use the app then have to search for it everytime.

    This app used to be great but every since it moved to a web based application, 80% of the time the link "buttons" (to select size or options, or to add to the cart etc) do not function. I have to repeatedly close the app out and restart it. It is incredibly annoying when you're trying to evaluate something to purchase. I shop Amazon a lot but this app is just ridiculously annoying now. Wish I had never updated because previous versions were much more stable.

    It's a useful and convenient app--that's all it should be. But--I turn off notifications for most of my apps, my reason is because I only want important things to show up there. I don't care if Amazon is having a sale or whatever. EVERY TIME I turn it off, somehow it magically turns back on. That is screwed up and I hate it! Please fix it because it's like spam messages!

    Let me share my experience with you all. I purchased micromax canvas a1 from this site. I was being told i would receive gift voucher worth rs.5000. Then was told would receive rs.2000 gift voucher. Now aftr 15days of not reciept of gift voucher it says the phone is not applicable. If the phone was not applicable then how the senior executive attended saying gift voucher worth rs.2000 is applicable. A complete fake transactions are done on the site. Please be carefull before buying

    I seem to be having a problem with your app. Since the latest update if I attempt to access anything in the user control panel it closes the app out. It doesn't give me a force close error, or any message at all. When I reload the app, or power down my device then reload it still happens. I have success every now and then, but it overall is problematic. I love using your app, and will not hold ratings as a hostage until you resolve the issue. However, I'm not very satisfied with this latest update.

    It's a good app for online shopping. But prime movies feature is cripple without Chromecast support. One could call it business strategy but I for one think amazon is losing loyalty of Prime members.

    I like the low prices of the quality products and I like the free shipping that you get sometimes with spending a certain amount. I think that they should give you Amazon rewards for shopping on the site so that after you spend a certain amount, they send you a free gift off your wish list. This would be awesome! Other than that, the application is pretty good except for when your smartphone or computer doesn't get a good WiFi signal.

    While attempting to scroll up and down, the app constantly records it as tap/button press. So instead of scrolling, I usually end up incorrectly adding items to my cart or opening up product details that I didn't intend to. I've seen this problem on both my phone and tablet (nexus 7). The app is OK, but it's pretty much rendered useless by the problems with the scrolling. I usually just resort to using the website instead.

    I don't know when it happened, but one recent update made scrolling through lists impossible without clicking every item you touch. As soon as I touch the page to scroll, no mater how fast or slow I go, I end up on the page for whatever item I first touched. I have to turn off one-click ordering because I keep prematurely ordering stuff I don't want. EDIT: After a short-lived fix, the addition of the Instant Video section brought with it the return of the super sensitivity, although just in that section.

    1. When I press the back button on my Galaxy S5, it goes back to the previous page ALWAYS which is what's to be expected. But when I search for an item like the "Chillow", it moves to the previous page instead of removing the keyboard that appears. I'm not quite sure if this has to do with the Amazon app or with the System UI or something, but I think it's the app.

    Was working great and never had a problem. Now, with the latest update, when you log into the app try going to your orders or another spot, the app closes down and have to restart. It keeps doing it over and over. Deleted cookies and caches and signed in and out and still closing. This needs to get fixed.

    This app is HUGE and I'm pretty sure it is unnecessarily that large. I also discovered it runs in the background. Recently, it stops working and when I open it up it says "temporarily unavilable" and yet my connection is fine. I have to restart my phone and then it works again. Forget it. After all the struggling, I'm finally uninstalling.

Watching prices, stuff ppl mention in passing that I save for later birthdays or Christmas. I upgraded to Prime and they're gone! All my lists just *poof*! WTF Amazon? I doubt I'll get a response from them, but be forewarned, check their forums as this appears to be common.

    So far, haven't had any major issues wit Amazon. The only thing that I would advise anyone purchasin online to do is hav a credit card or bank that requires ur authorization for out of the state/out of the country purchases. Once I've purchase an item from a seller, who was not an amazon prime seller, and my card info was used by the seller in another state, but Chase caught it immediately and froze my account. So, I had no monetary loss. Also bware of sellers who change their names.& rate their own product

    Buying and searching for products with this app is a process that's relatively painless; but when it comes time to write anything in terms of feedback in reviews, or meeting complaints or comments, this app is a complete pain in the butt! It doesn't matter if you're using voice or your fingers to type, the cursor is extremely unresponsive and jumps around mid type, leading to and unacceptable number of mistakes and frustration!

    Why are Amazon apps THIS bad? For starters its taking up a whooping 106 MB (total) of precious internal memory. Even if you move to card, it still takes up significant space in internal memory. And it also likes to keep running in the background and degrades phone performance. This is something even the Kindle app does! Flipkart app is so much smaller and better. Not expected from Amazon. Can't and wont keep such apps on any of my devices.

    I bought a Prime membership last year at the same time I bought a Chromecast. I was assured by Amazon representatives that Amazon Prime Chromecast support would be a reality soon. A year later it is time to renew Prime and there is still no support--unless you consider the third party "Primecast" app in the Google Play store that worked for all of 32 hours until Amazon cut off its access or the Fire TV stick that Amazon shamelessly wants me to spend more money for a copycat device. Goodbye Prime membership.

    I pay for prime and I should be able to watch my prime video and videos I have purchased on any device. I know that the exclusion of chromecast capability is a misguided effort to get people to buy a fire tv. I will never buy an Amazon device as long as this remains the case; I can always just plug my laptop into the TV. Make a device that outshines your competitors' devices if you want people to buy it, don't rely on exclusive features.

    It's great, do all your amazon shopping with all the power of the desktop version of the site. It has one huge, somebody should be fired for this, mistake. You cannot share an item. It would be great to tell a friend, "this thing" at amazon, but you can't. You can add to a wish list, change languages, but not text a link. Mega oops.

    I've had the Amazon app installed for a long time and never had problems with it. Then last week it started sending me notifications for random sales. That is spam in my book. I didn't ask for those alerts and the only way I can get rid of them is by disabling notifications which means I won't be able to receive shipping notifications either. One star until this is fixed. Stop spamming your customers!

    The app itself gets the job done, but it's not intuitive. I think prime is great during trial but after finding out that the amazon instant video app doesn't allow you to chrome cast it's kind of a deal breaker for me. Nonetheless if that changes I'm sold.

    Long time prime member. Very happy with amazon up until a few days ago. Placed an order & day after checked order status to find an unauthorized itemed had been ordered. Figured I would just cancel order but package was already in shipping process so now I have no choice but to wait for its delivery & then ship it back. This morning while tracking the orders I did authorize I found that an additional item has been added other my original order, so now I will have 2 of the same items being delivered.

    Works very well. The interface is a bit too sensitive. When I scroll, often it registers the motion of me putting my finger on their screen immediately, therefore select whatever my finger was on. Its annoying cause it deletes/selects/moves stuff in my cart. Also, its incredibly useless to tell me I have items in my cart. This shouldn't be running in the background for that. Bug I do like that it tells me when my package was delivered.
