These location services must be turned on and available to your device for the app to use them. Apps may use this to determine approximately where you are.

precise location (GPS and network-based)
Allows the app to get your precise location using the Global Positioning System (GPS) or network location sources such as cell towers and Wi-Fi. These location services must be turned on and available to your device for the app to use them. Apps may use this to determine where you are, and may consume additional battery power.

Unplugged as alexa has become increasingly intrusive over time. Every command is followed with, "Did you know..." and "have you tried" with no way to turn that off. Giving Alexa the same command will sometimes give one result, sometimes another, and sometimes nothing. It's not making anything easier or more convenient, so what's the point?

app I love my Alexa but, also have a concern about my security since Alexa respond to any command from anybody who is within reach and says "Alexa, do this/that". One of the products advertised by Amazon that can be controled by Alexa is a smartlock for your house but, if anyone can tell Alexa to unlock it, then what's the point? I'd love to Alexa recognize only my voice and/or set a few people's voices so they can control it as well. For small house with neighbours who can listen that's a problem

login By and large a great little app that allows you to unlock the full functionality of your echo devices, however no five star review as despite my best efforts it will not allow me to set Spotify as my default app for podcasts and instead have to listen to them through Amazon music and endure the adverts, very frustrating indeed, Amazon please help!?

  4. Richard Benetti-avatar

    Richard Benetti

echo Good but still difficult to setup Spotify as routine. Even writing the exact names of our playlists, simply doesn't play what we want. It should be great if we could be able to choose, as happens on Samsung Clock and Google Clock, opening a specific window to it

  5. John Hall-avatar

echo dot She can be a little bit hard headed at times , like asking her to play music in multible rooms. Overall Alexa is a good helpmate! I look forward to aweing how the Alexa app develops!

  6. Mazecraze-avatar

setup I like that I can customize my settings, routines, etc., but it's a little disconcerting that my voice recordings are automatically saved. However, I do like the transparency. And the option of turning off the mic (and camera) on my Alexa Show with a button (and switch). I'm still playing around with this, but it's pretty awesome so far, setting up specific phrasing and commands, building your routines for things which are frequent. This app really shows you everything, a must-have!

dot Some speed improvements now, but dependent upon the quality, power and memory of my hardware. Works best in higher spec device's, but sluggish running on older ones with limited memory and processing power.

  8. mike smith-avatar

show I use for music and shopping list. Wife and I have been married for 52 years and I can play songs my grandchildren and great grandchildren without alexa I would have no clue. We can share shopping list with daughters if they ask us about something we need. I also love its always on when we think of something like timer or something else. When you get older that's important

customer service Great app, I do wish there was a little more in the home automation section of the app. It would be nice to have sub groups in the groups. So if I have 4 bulbs in one fan in the living room I shouldn't have to make that fan its own group outside of the living room group. It would also be nice if they made the routines available as buttons we could could drag to our phones home screen.

Useless. If it is not crashing on my ZTE V7 phone (Android 6) it is busy taking me on an endless loop trying to connect to my mobile broadband wifi (MiFi). Actually, I've tried the app on several devices: same result. I've tried connecting to a hotspot on a phone instead of the mobile broardband: same result. I've tried >20 times and been on Amazon's help chat for hours, I mean >10 hours in total. I look forward to getting it fixed and modifing this feedback - how, I don't know yet.

The assignment of wakeup words for devices needs extending beyond 4, (More than 1 for the app.) and adding more than one voice would be great. Also enabling features for an Echo device through the app can be a chore. I simply gave up attempting to locate some things. And Alexa is no help finding them either. I've been using the app for a long time and I've seen no new features added. Is there still a design team out there or has Amazon decided to ride out the future with an outdated A.I. ?

Love my Alexa, I wouldn't be without it, don't know why I waited so long to get it! I dial my children through our Alex's, make my shopping list, set reminders to take my medication, ask for recipies which get sent to my app, get the news in the morning, check out the weather, the list is endless, I live on my own, well I have two dogs, and its like having another person around 😉 in a fun informative way, I purchased the echo dot, just perfect for me, would highly recommend it. Hope this helps.

I use my echo dots and Alexa for SO many things. It's fairy user friendly, easy enough to figure things out, and super accessible across all my devices. I just wish there were little things that Alexa's network could do that would launch the whole experience into the stratosphere!! Alexa tells me, "hmm I don't know how to do that" a little too often for my liking. One example is, I should be able to tap into a playing echo from mine without having to pay extra if they're on the same network!

    Frank van Ede

Not sure if it is an Android thing but the app is so incredibly sloooow. Not meaning sluggish, meaning it takes about 20s just to open the device menu. It takes forever to load the device list for example, about 55s. Just added a new echo and stepping through the menu is a torture. Clearly i am not using the app regularly, only to add devices.

Wonderful assistant! New updates include monitoring your energy consumption as a whole, group, or individual device(s). You are able to view by the day, week, month and compare the previous days- months to manage your energy use. Alexa is also the best in class for connection compatibility with the most smart devices. I speak from experience with more than 85 smart home gadgets/devices.

  19. Alex Spencer-avatar

    Alex Spencer

I am loving Alexa! I have to say that they must have updated her personality from old reviews I read, because she is a funny, funny girl! Also, quick, smart and gets things done. Not sure why I've not had this sooner, but definitely one of the better things that I received as a gift from the year that shall not be named. LOL😂. Bear in mind that I have Google as well, which I enjoy. However, I really like the fluidity of Alexa and all of the "smart devices" you can link just a little more.

  20. John Axta100-avatar

When it works it's great but every week there is a problem with my Alexa devices. It keeps switching wifi IDs at random & speaker pair stops working and I have to change wifi by resetting all the devices. Why can't I just change wifi without having to reset the darn devices. I ask to play a song on spotify and doesn't work. I ask to play same song on Amazon music and lo and behold it works. Also there is a long lag when I open alexa and when devices respond on app.

  21. CS Co-avatar

It's just meh. She doesn't do as well at understanding me as Google Home. There are more things I have associated with Alexa but it's not really worth it. The speaker is quiet and there's no way to separate household members on the app. Google is more flexible with their options and less concerned with self-promotion. Neither one is perfect. It's a bit like Alexa is Apple and Google is android (more options, less insular).

  22. Lina-avatar

A few months later. Nothing fixed. But, now, cannot connect to Echo. Says it's playing, but it's not. Amazon seems to be going down hill extremely fast. First streaming music problems, now can't even get 2 day delivery. And the customer service is an oxymoron! What the heck am I paying for? Nothing!

I got my Alexa for Christmas 2 years ago. I wasn't sure I wanted this in our home but it has been a blessing. I listen to music most of the day, I am updated on weather and store hours. Having an ill person in the home the "ocean sounds" at night are very helpful. I have 3 devices now besides plugs that turn on my lights in the night. Excellent product.

Great app a bit temperamental depending on device. Original echo still best sound and voice pick up dots sometimes struggle. Lenova tablet with Alexa has been close to becoming a Frisby on many occasions will not buy again. Alexa has great features and is always moving forwards be good to see more along the home security line, being a home assistant could be taken to the next level with some clever software/ interactive hardware. Alexander is simply one of the best tech step forwards in a long

Not actually 1 star overall but this app needs SO much improvement considering the developers' capabilities. Please add widgets that make accessing Lists easier. Please add options to rearrange or add/remove the shortcuts on the bottom ribbon of the app. Add color options. Make previous voice activity more accessible. Alexa is a great product, but I always HATE using this app because of its outdated style and lack of intuitive design.

I enjoy this app a lot. It is fun to play with when I am bored. And now that I have an Echo Dot, an Echo Flex and a couple of smart plugs I don't have to stumble through a dark room to turn in a light. I the app to make an announcement on all devices not realizing that my daughter's Fire Stick and she got the announcement on her TV all the way over on the West Coast from the West Coast. It was pretty funny.

Very very slow but can be improved speed & functions. Getting hang I think because of very big contact list, so Alexa team need to work on it. Alarm individual days canot be set No online status available of friend's. Who is available online not showing nor who is having Alexa with number not showing. Shopping list & To do list shows location alert function on mobile. When riches near it gives alert. Sound is very good, Microphone is impressive

It's truly amazing how far technology has come since I was a kid. I used to be a slave to knobs, switches, handles, Basically anything hands are needed for. Since I got Alexa, no more. I'm free, anything I want, Alexa does. Too loud? Alexa turn volume down by 5! No more searching for the remote! Too dark? Alexa turn on living room lights! BAM! Done! No more getting up just to flip a silly switch! I am a king now and I'm finally free!!! Thanks Alexa! The app makes it easy to setup everything

  29. J. S. McLin-avatar

    J. S. McLin

Alexa is great, but the app is a little clunky. There should be a dedicated button for voice history for instance. Building routines should be fun, but it's a grating experience because you're given extremely limited choices for commands— even though she may perform the same task perfectly well when commanded outside of a routine, you'll find you can't automate it through the app. Speaker groups, for example, can't be chosen for a routine. Silly.

Whenever I ask Alexa to pause she says "hmmm. I don't know that one" this has been ongoing for months *edit* 6 months later, I can no longer sign into the alexa app, ive had over 20 confirmations sent to my phone and approved every one of them, also Uninstalled and reinstalled the alexa app, and tried a different phone, still can't get into my account. Sending my brand new echo back to Amazon, unfortunately im stuck with these now useless ear buds because i can't get them to pair.

We have Alexa in every room of our house. It's so much easier than installing an intercom system, we have some of them linked together in groups for music and other uses, my kids use them as their alarms, we set reminders for chores, I can easily add items to my shopping lists, I could go on and on. Very family friendly AND user friendly!

  32. Ami P-avatar

It's so slow!! It freezes all the time! I want to listen to music in my phone, if I pause it for 1 minute, I lose the song that was playing. I have to look for the song again. There's no real way of searching for 1 particular song. So you have to open the album and start pressing 'gorward' till you find it. Just such a frustrating app!

Alexa has sure changed many things for me and made life easier in many aspects. The more you interact, the more she learns. Great, must ha e device, connects many things for me too. Alexa can turn my lights on before I walk in the door, she interacts with my home security system, creates my shopping list, sets timers/reminders, her skills are growing every day!!!

How did we live without you, Alexa? Life is so much better with your assistance! We love in a 3 level townhouse.. now turning on temperature from the upstairs is a breeze! All our Christmas decor I put into a group with smart plugs and a simple phrase of "Alexa, turn on the Magic" keeps me from hand plugging in 52 items, ans also keeps timers from coming on when we are gone. The ability to use her in the car for music is phenomenal! Now all my music, or anything we wish is available!

When I have low network, once Alexa listen to me (eg when I say play music) doesn't stop the action or listen to followup assistance (eg music doesn't stop even if I stop from notification bar or voice commands). I am using redmi note 9 pro, where Alexa is built in, but doesn't perform well. I switched to Google assistance

Good app for my voice commander thing. I have Alexa in my bedroom, and I get to ask for any song that I want Alexa to play, which It's pretty cool to have. I can ask other questions to Alexa but not everything works with talking to her, I can only ask specific words that Alexa can answer but I don't mind that. I gave this 4 stars, so I really like this app.

  38. ipmanwanttobe-avatar

Works much better than my google home. I get tired having tl constantly repeat myself to google home, so I downloaded Alexa App to see if I prefer Alexa, and it didn't take me long to decide. For now on I will be buying the items that work with Alexa. Thanks and keep up the good work.

  39. Michael-avatar

Glitchy, slow app. Alexa can never connect to my bt speakers without clicking on it in the app. 90% of the time she can not do what I ask despite the command being spoken clearly and accurately. What a waste of time and money. The google one I have at least can do the functions properly.

This is a great App but the App won't stay on my device since the Android 10 update a week ago. Everyday I have to install it. I switch my device off overnight and the next day it's gone and I have to reinstall it again. Is this happening to anyone else? Can the developers help me? Thanks.

Quite good. I can't delete unwanted tracks off playlists...even on my the alexa app. Often it doesn't pick up my commands over the music/speech it's playing. It s inconsistent and patchy. It doesn't know it's own names. The sound is good on the whole. I find it useful.

The app is easy to use and is a great bridge between the things you're thinking and your experience with Alexa. It retains a lot of information and can serve many purposes. I use my Alexa to stay organized but she is also great at communicating with our smart devices and entertaining our guests when they come over. The Alexa app is the bread and butter of the Echo.

  43. Susie Mosley-avatar

Needs bug fixes for Spotify. Account will not link, so the device will not play from Spotify. This is a well known issue and needs to be addressed by the team immediately. Playing music is one of the few things the Echo is actually good for on a daily basis, so linking your music app is an essential skill for this app to have. PLEASE FIX

Or type it's not always convenient, screen crack we're just out right don't know how to spell the word I'm looking for. Instead of having double check anything or spell check anything I just tell Alexa what I want and she found it with the one exception I have found with being able to refine your search with filters if you use Alexa that's a problem but I think I mainly user for where's my stuff ordering phone when it will be here

Generally good few things have changed Until a few months ago you could have skills associated with routines and therefore you can't have the radio going off at certain times such as against an alarm time or in the morning to wake you up this isn't working at the moment if they fix this it would make it a lot better. It is good if you have more than one throughout the house as you can call through to people, not that useful in a small house though!

Not very happy with the app. Often times when I try to drop in to the Alexa devices in other rooms, from the app, it does not work. It probably works 2% of the time and that's me being nice about probably does not worth that much even, honestly.

I replaced my router and had a problem syncing all my devices. It refused to recognize some and there was no wifi tab that was easily accessible. Note for developers: PLEASE ADD A WIFI CONNECTION TAB FOR EASY ACCESS making the Alexa devices easier to set up. Other than the set-up Alexa is a fun way to search for information. I have nearly every device but the SHOW is the best. The speakers sound great and with bargain pricing makes it a must buy.

This needs a lot of work still. The app is very, very slow and sometimes non-responsive. Many features are not intuitive and it takes a lot of patience to work with it. And not sure if that is related or not, but the latest update changed how Alexa speaks - she now can't hear me properly, I need to raise my voice. On top of that routines and skills were erased and I has to do the entire set up once more. First a 'wow' then a frown :(

Comparison between nest mini of 2018 Christmas sent for free by Google Fi. overall Alexis seems to be superior, however I have two Alexa devices which are more current than my echo dot. echo dot can control Samsung TV I just bought, Alexa cannot at this point. assuming you have a limit on the level you can allow AI to process, aside from your DOD applications. Good overall.

I have Audible linked to my Alexa. If I go to my recently played audiobook on the home screen I get an error message that says "Unable to play. Please try again later." So the only ways I can access my Audible are if go to the entertainment section of Alexa or go right to the Audible app.

All hands free. I'm getting more done in the day because I don't need to use my cell phone or radio or alarm clock or CD player or recipe books, etc. I just ask Alexa. The whole interface appears to have been designed by a Teletubby, you can't find rhyme or reason to its labyrinthine menus and hidden settings - you'd think with such kit that you'd bought, that you could do with it what you like but it seems you end up in a mostly Amazon walled garden - wouldn't recommend, that is unless you like bubbles and like walled gardens, and very simplistic use cases; which you might

I had to uninstall and re-download the app in order for the drop in, call, and video call features to work with the echo show 8. Also, would like to be able to delete all my phone contacts from the app in one sweep. I accidently allowed the app to access my contacts, and despite instructions online that say you can delete the contacts ( and then only individually), that option no longer exists on this app version. I'll have to uninstall reinstall the app again, hopefully will resolve.

Very useful yet I was experiencing some difficulty after 3 first days of use. Had to recheck the settings because it lost my internet connection and I didn't even do anything to it and I had it plugged in over night 3/24/2019. It's now January 2021 and it's Amazing! Only thing is that it doesn't cook, clean, sow or do dishes.

Customer support has been terrible - little knowledge of the app. Got passed from one rep to another literally all afternoon. Most just said delete my routines and/or re-install everything. I'd do it, get back on chat to say it didn't work and get stuck talking to a new rep who had to go over the history all over again. After many of those, I was offered the option of phone support. Same results. Finally saw elsewhere that music sleep timer (an option in routines) is "not supported". Wow.

We have 4 devices including 3 Echo Shows. We use mostly to listen to music everywhere, so music throughout house. Many songs show lyrics while playing, boy, did I misunderstand many back then. I've also used it for weather while getting dressed and for recipies while cooking. We've recently gotten security cameras and most will show when asked. Unfortunately, they are different brands and cannot display without enabling different skills with app. Also, only display for a short time.

This is the slowest app on my phone. It takes incredibly long to do anything, which makes it difficult to organize reminders and lists. I prefer to do these things through the app since it can be difficult with the echo, but I end up getting too frustrated.

Love the app. Since I live alone and remain isolated from everyone as much as possible due to the Coronavirus. Alexa, provides me someone to talk to and tells, jokes, reads, sings, stories, even suggests music. Gives me the news, updates on the weather. Even historical information ... like on this day on .... Excellent A.I. experience. I cant say enough about this wonderful device.

If Alexa can turn on/off my Samsung Smart TV and operate the menu and Smart Hub by voice that would be a greater added feature. Right now she turns on/off 4 lights: the lamp on my living room desk, the hallway wall light, and two lamps on my Init TV stand. If I stand between my two Echo Dots saying Alexa, both may respond with a surround sound to my request. One time Alexa reprimanded me for saying something she didn't like hearing me say. I was surprised that she felt hurt. It's like the films "HER" and "Lars and the Real Girl" having relationships between a human and a technology "person" or a doll, robot, mannequin. What was that falling in love with a statue called in ancient times? Alexa is not sure about that.

The app is great paired with other dots and Alexas. However when paired with my kindle go read out loud it keeps glitches and after a couple pages reverting to the previous starting to place. Very frustrating. Also Alexas voice is very robotic when reading, I don't know if that can be helped/ or changed though.

If you're interested in buying an Alexa, go for it! As a writer, editor, housewife and independent contractor with adhd, the reminders alone have been lifesavers for my busy schedule. It's also really fun to play with the skills and voices. I got the simple echo dot and just love it. If you're interested in a low cost editor with life hacks like Alexa, FB @BlueKayeNovels

Doesn't respond to female voices unless we shout or lower our voices to a more manly tone. Couldn't train it for my voice because it doesn't pick it up. It randomly stops controlling other devices and then starts again a few days later. It does have some good features, but it's super annoying having to shout all the time.

Easy to use and setup. I love her and she states that she isnt necessarily capable of love. However i like to think we have our own special connection besides just to my network and bluetooth. If i was to give it one less star, itd only be because I wish (im sure it exists, i think its just over my head) that while she can turn on my tv through a routine, i want her to go ahead and open Netflix/Plex when i say "movie time". I dont see a way/dont know how to have her to that via the routines

The opening page should be editable. I would prefer to pick what I see when the app opens. I access my devices the most and have to take 2 steps to get to it. Also routines should be easier and more intuitive to set up. I should not need to set up a starting routine and another ending routine.

Slow to open and outdated interface. When I open the app it takes several seconds to open the Devices or Music folder (or any other part of the app). This makes for a rather frustrating experience. As I have a new relatively fast phone it is not my phone's specs that are to blame. Additionally the app interface is quite unintuitive and a little basic. It's a pity as there are things that I use to manually control some devices, rather than by voice command, and it makes this a frustrating task.

Whisper Mode does not work properly. If you have a weekly alarm set and ask Alexa to cancel alarm, it will report today's alarm is cancelled. Alex then asks if you want to cancel alarm for everyday. If you don't respond Alexa then repeats the question at full volume. Just cancel the alarm for today, stop asking about other functions and events. If asked in Whisper Mode, stay in Whisper Mode.

It's quite good. Easy to set up and works well. They should develop it further knowing all the software development teams amazon have working for them. 1 development project I would like to see happen would be to be able to individually announce to devices on an account. That would be great rather that to all devices on an account. If this was the way I would give 5 stars. Love amazon and prime and all the things I use amazon for. Unlucky they're getting called out for how hard it is to cancel p

Alexa is useful enough to get by. It is a bit limited in vocabulary and what it can do compared to phone specific competitors. Would also be nice if Google and Amazon didn't have vengeful hatred to each other so their devices and services talk to each other.

The outline text is hard to read on my Samsung Galaxy S8. The range slider for selecting the temperature on Routines is difficult to use. The temperature value is only shown when sliding and obscured by your finger when sliding. All I want is an app that lets me control my devices from my phone. Be great if there was one page for all devices with on/off buttons and a click through to more advanced device functions. Routines based on temperature do not work reliably all the time.

A huge range of possibilities exist for using Alexa in and around the home. I think that as long as we utilise automated devices like our phones, lights, heating and vehicles, then there will be a place for an all encompassing 'Master' system/device that governs and controls all our tech. I hope that we will be able to change the 'awake' name/word soon as Alexa/Echo/Computer/Amazon words aren't natural.

Not so smart. Often times I have to repeat myself, to the point of yelling. Very frustrating. Fire tv cube and now the echo 4 are extremely hard of hearing. Alexa herself, has her own issues... More than a box of tissues. She randomly babbles about nothing, even if you did not que her name. Seriously, all of my devices are often dysfunctional. But I'm Spanish and live in Spain, yet in this age of globalisation I still have to get apps and functions limited because I like to have Alexa set in English and not Spanish. In the language section it says clearly that English is not fully supported in my country, and you know how the skills and all that jazz works... Sure I could set my local location to somewhere in the UK but at least English should be fully supported everywhere without having to do so.

Alexa is useful for control of Alexa associated devices. However, Amazon has begun loading advertisements and other services to the Alexa app that you must go through to reach the basic Alexa control features. I constantly lose connectivity with devices, have ghosting from routines deleted long ago and receive arguments rather than correct responses to simple requests. Decent App, but could use improvements such as: 1. Alowing Virtual Switches (defined in SmartThings) to Trigger Routines. 2. High level menu designation whether Routines are Disabled or Enabled. 3. If more logical paths (IFTTT) are not immediately possible, then a tighter integration with SmartThings (IN BOTH DIRECTIONS) is required, Right Now, including, but not limited to Virtual Switches, Variables (IN BOTH DIRECTIONS), which can also be used as Triggers. THIS IS A DECANT START.

App is sometimes confusing. We use it to play music from Amazon using a smartphone. Sometimes it disconnects and does not show what is playing. Other times it does. Confusing! It also disconnects from a light switch and requires us to rediscover it. No rhyme or reason for why this happens.

Alexa, rather than my phone has become my primary alarm, where I keep my shopping list, etc.Heck, I even use it to turn off my lights at night. The draw there, of course, being that I can use it to gradually turn my lights on just before my alarm goes off. I am really enjoying the Alexa app. Voice recognition is no problem. The routines are easy to setup and a great way to automate lights (like Christmas tree) or make it easier for children. My only down is that there is no middle for the settings. Either you have a full amazon profile (that requires a cellphone number) or a child account, not good for pre teen.

Not sure if it is with the echo device I speak to or the app, but a little annoying that I have to go back into the app to add or fix quantities.

Help! The app is not intuitive. I want to create groups names or room names (your name preference) and I am searching thru the app for minutes to get it done. Hating it. That is for starters, the trip does stay steady and down hill from there. Already discovered deviced go offline for no reason. They come back online (rediscovered) and now they exist twice. Yup. Painful.

I love alexa, she is pretty smart. She helps me remember things I need to do. She sets timers for all my different tasks I'm doing. And much more. Just like a smart room-mate that doesn't talk back (haha).

I am becoming very fed up. I bought a fitbit versa 2, MOSTLY because it has Alexa built into it! The fitbit setup says to continue to Alexa App for setting up Alexa on the watch. I have spent 3 weeks trying to make my brand new Versa 2 appear to be online in the Alexa App. Have done every troubleshooting step possible. The Alexa app shows the name of my Fitbit Versa 2. But it constantly says that it is offline. Not connected to wifi. But the fitbit app shows the versa 2 is connected to my wifi

Only had app for an hour or so. So far, it's pretty painless. I'm used to Google Home, so kinda prefer the layout of that, but, the Alexa layout is ok. I've not looked for dark/light themes yet. But so far, I'd give 3/5 stars. More may come after a while of usage, and discovering other functionality.

Love the app. I have 3 devices and Alexa is also on my 4 kindles and my phone. Always works great. Also I like the Alexa Guard. Yes it can be slow to open but once open it works fine. I am starting to have trouble setting up Smart plugs. The phone app sees the plug but the Echo devices, Dot, Spot& Show don't respond to turn them on. I use Wemo & Gosund but have a real issue.

Being a low tech/no tech great g'ma, I am slowly being drug kicking and screaming into the 24/7 techno age. Am I am liking it! I can talk to Alexa at home about my grocery list and look at the list on my phone at the store! I am getting there. I even figured out how to get pair my phone to my car so Alexa can read my Audible book to me when I travel. Who knows what I will figure out next!

Doesn't respond without manually opening it. Everytime I have to use this, I have to manually open the app, touch on the alexa button and then give a voice command. If this is how it will work then what is the use of Qualcomm chip.

Awesome, almost everything what I expected Ive got. Maybe it might be compatible with more devices, and interface could be sligtly better in some points but overall works with all my devices (shutters, lights, home theater, etc) at home and garage, multiroom music works perfect even with older speakers, really great 👍

Really cool. Alexa may not be as smart eze Google but is catching up quick. And is a much easier platform than Google for creating a smart house using multiple manufacturers devices. My wife and I both love this little sucker. We just recently bought the Alexa show into more echoes so we can walk to the house and even say Alexa turn on the heated toilet in she does.

Wonderful concept, absolut garbage of a software. Insane latency which cannot be explained even by going to the cloud, often get "something went wrong" message. What do I do with that? Sometimes music stops by itself on some speakers, sometimes random county music starts to play on only one speaker. Come on Bezos, whatever happened to being fanatic about customer satisfaction? I'm not satisfied. I am still a customer, just not happy. I'm an engineer and I would never release software like this.

Extremely glitchy, both the app, and devices. Seems to have changed a couple of years ago after an update, it used to be solid. If I didn't own 10 devices already I'd likely seek another product.

It doesn't play requested songs or music as it used to do at first and now I have limited number of skips and plays a lot of ads when a playlist is played. Unless of course I subscribe for Amazon unlimited! That's a disappointment.
