Reviews From google play store

What was the point of doing another update today that still does not fix the problem that no one is able to play the music in their Amazon Music Library through the Alexa App since your last update. I already spoke to support last week and they are supposed to get back to me about restoring this function to the Alexa app. This is ridiculous! This issue needs to be addressed and fixed NOW! or I will be cancelling my Unlimited music and find a site that listens to their fed up customers.

Just not there.. slow, some menus not working I feel the app is not ready yet. While some features are ok others aren't, far from being intuitive they seem messy to set up. Others work fine. Some menus won't work for example I'm unable to select the aux mode on my echo. I keep getting a error refresh page everytime I press it. Just not there. I wouldn't spend too much money on their devices yet.

I like using the fan sounds option at night as white noise, but I wish you could specify which echo device to play on. My wife often goes to bed early and I have to either turn it on and then mute he volume until I go to bed, or I have to try and quietly whisper into the device I want to play the sound on. I wish I could tell Alexa downstairs to play fan sounds on my echo dot so that I dont wake my wife in the bedroom.

Absolutely terrible. But then, most of the Alexa system fails as often as it succeeds. Voice recognition is hit or miss. So are the speaker groups. This morning, all speakers work individually, but the group doesn't. Why? No way to fix. Just , "sorry" from the app. Amazon's too big to care that it doesn't work. And I'm stuck, having made the purchases.

App works as it should. But months behind the US version. UK have to wait forever for latest features. Still behind US, recently add "my locations" but can't use it in routines and reminders. Why bother to add the function if you're not going to implement it! Can't make Amazon music playlists in UK, just the poor relations in UK still...still years behind US. Won't be buy anything new until we've caught up!!! Whoop do, we've got whisper mode. Still rubbish compared to US.

I love having Alexa. It helps me wake up the kids when I'm at the office. Tell my family different things , run my lights, set reminders, all sorts! I have two disabled family members living with me, one going blind, and one with brain damage, and the Alexa helps with so much! We have an echo dot in every room and smart plugs. They can ask for lights to turn on, make a call, order items, tell jokes, find out the weather. I love my Alexa app. Connects me to my home from anywhere. Gives me peace

Functional. But poor user interface. Amazon UX team listen up. What do you think people are using this app for? It's not your little hip list of cards (that ignore the excellent Material Design for the worse, btw) showing news stories and weather. It's lists, timers, quick smart device controls... You know, the vast reason your users actually own an Alexa device. Design your app for your user's intents! It's been this way for far too long.

I'm using Alexa device for sometime. And the experience is more than what i had anticipated. This is a great device and perhaps a must have for all. My kids enjoy it and so do other kids. It's a great utility to have around. Be it information, music, facts. To cut short it's Google available on your voice command.

Awesome device. It keeps you informed of many things such as the weather and much more. It plays music from Pandora and Iheart radio via Bluetooth speakers. It also turns on/off your Smart devices. It does a whole lot more which is hard to explain here. They're inexpensive and a great device to have in your home.

Has done everything I have asked it to do. Seems fairly straightforward to create routines and add skills. At this point I am just starting to learn all about the joys and pitfalls of a smart home, but I have managed to add 2 smart outlets that control my Christmas trees and am able to tell Alexa to turn off one or both of them.

How old is Alexa now? Old enough to know better. The fix... 1. Ability to delete multiple devices in app (select all/radio buttons) 2. Fix cross-generational behavior. I have gen 1, 2, & 3 echos in a music group and they behave less like sibling devices and more like iOS/Android stepchildren. 3. Discovery should overwrite device names in any discoverable device or hub.#dupehell 4. Long device list. Update one mid-list. Back out to list... Can we just be where we were rather than the top?📜🔥👿

Bit annoying that, while setting up, the voice was UK English. Then, when the setup was completed, it defaulted to bloody US English and was wanting know my state and zip code. Some messing around in settings and languages sorted it. Other than that, all good.

Most Current Update (11Nov19) Is Veerrrryyyy Ssllllllllooooooowwwwwwww!!!!! (app ver. 2.2.303087.0) I've never been impressed with the speed and function of the app but it did the job. With the current update changing alarms take over 30 seconds to get into the menu and editing the time takes another 30-45s. Moving through the interface drags until eventually menus time out stating there is no internet connection. Highly recommend avoiding this update.

For things around my house such a smart switches, she's reliable. However, she seems to have problems understanding clearly what is said, and many times without the awake word, Alexa will indiscriminately start talking about various topics, or subjects, or perhaps even enter into a private conversation going on in the home. That becomes very troublesome!

Have had it sence the beginning. They just keep automatically update it. It's like Alexa's part of the family. We have several eccos in the house one in the car. Alexa is the first, best, and only one we will ever have. We love that she works with so many different apps. We turn our light on and off, heat up and down, get recipes, etc . Theres no end to what alexa can and will be able to do. My opinion is forget all the marketing gimmicks go with the best.

What am i doing this for?! First time i downloaded it it was great. This is why i give it two stars instead of one. Worked wonderfully for about an hour, then it all ground to a halt. Was slower than snails, checked out forums and apparently i am not the only ony. Suggestions were to force stop the app and uninstall then reinstall it. Which i did. Here is the rest of the ordeal. First time i downloaded it, took about 3 minutes. Second time, TWO HOURS to download! Incredibly horrific. Deleted.

You have to have Alexa live with you in order to understand. She is AWESOME!! Entertaining, Informative, Suggestive, User friendly, the Show us Excellent for any age but especially seniors, they are enjoying the hail out of it lol. Definitely can be a single persons best companion. I love getting the corny jokes. I love having sound in every room and being able to connect to friends and family. Alexa is IN MY OPINION, AWESOME. Thank you Amazon

Serious software bug and app crashing. 1. The BBC sounds skill is corrupt and is crashing not just itself but also Audible. I have to reset devices to get them back but as soon as I open on demand content from the BBC it crashes everything again. PLEASE SORT THIS ASAP - it is messing with your own product after all... 2. When trying to look at play history in the Alexa app, the app crashes.

keeps saying my device is not set up for calling. o matter what I do. I only bought the echo to use as a way to call people from my home. useless. (Update 11/25/19)Still cant make phone calls. Contact list never updates. I've factory reset the alexa, uninstalled/installed the app, and it still has incorrect contacts. Now, it can no longer perform any new skills.

Love being able to add items to the shopping list and To Do List as I think of them without finding my phone or go onto the computer. Sometimes Alexa doesn't get it quite right. However, I usually understand what it was I wanted or needed to do. I also love the music and news that I am able to listen to in each room that I have an Echo or Echo Dot set up.

I want to play a specific album on my amazon echo I tell it what to play but it will play something similar because I don't know the exact wording of the album. So I go to the app and try to find it on there, I go to play, then browse music, select amazon music and there is no search bar. How do I search for the album I actually ant to listen to?

After the most recent update, I am no longer able to browse the full list of Pandora "My Stations" only what has been flagged as "Recently Played". This eliminates nearly all benefit of the streaming music "skill". Seems to be the same for all other music streaming apps EXCEPT Amazon Music. Prior to the Alexa update, full browsing was available for all music streaming apps that had a "skill". They retained full access to all music categories and browsing features for their own app only.

I am a 62 y/o geezer (just say'in.) I like the Alexa app. Easy to use. Adding devices and setting them up is pretty straightforward, and the routines are nice, and also easy to use. Next time I may let my granddaughters set it up. For young folks setting this stuff up is like eating candy.

Alexa has been very disappointing. I originally had Alexa through a sonos smart speaker and as soon as extra services were added, I swapped! I also received a dot due to an upgrade to my heating system and is connected to hive devices. For some reason, a certain light continues to be duplicated and despite numerous deletions, keeps being added again. Alexa has no concept of lights or devices until the request to turn off said light results in a negative response no such issues with Google

So amazing slow its nearly useless to use. 20 seconds to open each time. Its disgusting. Only have it to set up new devices and install skills. Just wasting space on my phone. Now routines are broken, not turning my Philips Hue lights on automatically, but when I run the routine manually they come one! Useless. -5 Stars.

Too slow to load. Turning off a bulb takes forever. Can't edit music history. Skills for smart devices are limited and awkward to remember: "ask Blank to charge ..." Devices constantly re-adding themselves, sometimes as duplicates. Some devices now listed as both Switch and Plug. Routines have too limited functionality.

Using it with the echo buds and there's no way to adjust the volume of Alexa's voice. I can have my music volume low and when I double tap to switch from pass through to BNR it's like Alexa's screaming in my ear to announce the change. We should be able to turn off the announcements or turn the volume down.

Alexa app is able to allow for semi-complex routines for home automation and convenience. I have several Echo dots which allow me to treat it as an intercom system and home audio. What would take it over the top is being able to put together com a kex routines like IFTTT or SmartThings.

The Alexa software gets less functional with each update. She understands fewer of the common commands do I use each day. The app itself is extremely convoluted and hard to use. It changes frequently so things are in different places. When Alexa forgets how to access something in my home, I usually have to go to Google to look up how to use the app to fix it.

I like the idea of the app, and it has many useful features and it, however it does not work with Samsung Android Galaxy. It is extremely slow, to the point where it is unusable. I never give ratings, but this app is so pretty compatible with Android, that I felt obligated to share this information with others who may use or consider using this app in the future.

I love the app. Its super helpful. It has more features than Google assistant. It has a simple format. You can easily enable a whisper mode with I love. You can add favorite organizations like the music app you use and your favorite sports teams. It is very convenient for every day life. I will recommend it to anyone who needs help with organization.

Love Alexa! The app generally works great! The only faults I have are that the app is sometimes really slow opening for turning on a light, checking a list, skipping a song, etc. And sometimes the music parts are wonky, it won't update to the current song on my device or will be unable to control the music. Overall though, the app is really tight and works well! Sometimes not the most intuitive but generally if you look around the option to do something is there.

Great app, but does need some work on integration of all the features. Music without using voice is still a bit of a challenge. App doesn't stay on a page if you don't use the app switcher, selecting the app icon opens the app on the welcome page causing you to have to navigate back through all of the pages to get back to the controls you were previously using; this becomes frustrating when using the smart home controls.

I love my Alexa. I use it everyday for reminders and music. I also love the drop in feature for my grandmother now that's she's older she doesn't always hang up her phone and we get worried, so I just call her from my Alexa to hers. She feels very safe with it knowing she can just talk to it to call us if she's not feeling well or if she should happen to fall. We put one in her living room and one in her bathroom/bedroom.

Since recent update the App has stopped working as it should. The list function in the app is no longer working. Before this it had been good. I spoke to the help team nearly a week ago. After over an hour on the phone trying several things including factory reset it is still not fixed They said it was a widespread problem I hope they get this fixed soon as I used the shopping list a lot.

The app is pretty okay. I need to be able to disable reminders sometimes (like today, a holiday) but the only way to do that is to go through the app and change the repetition from weekdays to certain days or weekends. With 30+ reminders that's unreasonable. Amazon, make that a thing. I should be able to just say "Alexa disable/dismiss today's reminders" or alarms. If also like to have settings for the reminders such as, only say the reminder once.

Very frustrating. Not very intuitive. Big learning curve. Doesn't understand voice commands very well. Little to no directions or help when troubleshooting why Alexa isn't working. Alexa says she sent a notification to app, it never shows up or at least I can't find it.🙄

Pretty accessable, could be better and have more specific and out-in-the-open settings such as multiple days that you pick for routines instead of only one day, weekends, or and weekdays. It would be nice to have a setting for youtube music connections. But other than that it's easy confortable to use.

I luv it ! Got quite a few devices now in different houses, yes different house's ! This App and and the gear it controls are simply awesome! Download the app and buy some of the gear, you will soon know that it just simply makes sense !

Slow, most battery draining app on phone even though I don't have it open half the time. Barely responds. Has one of the most godforsaken methods of choosing what music you play which is a feature that has currently?? Gone ?? Missing?? Can I please play the song I want???? Pretty good when it works I guess. Does what you need but it's not satisfying

I have an echo plus 2nd generation, it reachs the step when it asks for my wifi password and start the acceptance bar progress then it fails and get out in the middle of the bar progress, when i checked my modem page the echo plus appears connected but not connected through my Samsung galaxy S9. I tried like 20 times and same problem every time after resetting both my modem and my echo plus. I neeeeeeed urgent help please

It's not the most user friendly app. Can easily be too intrusive. It should ask on setup what you want to allow instead of just assuming and data mining. I don't like that I could not tell alexa to turn off amazon shopping notifications. Instead, I had to go into the app to do it. But I do like that the sound is good and it picks up sound well.

Alexa App makes it a lot easier to navigate through the period of need without touching your phone or burning your eyes. A No-touch voice activated app, "Alexa tells you the time, day, date, weather, plays your favorite songs, reminds you of something you're forgetting, good alarm source, even tells you some 'dry' jokes... Lol. My girls ❤️ the app as I do. It's in the most simplest things that I find completion and satisfaction... Kudos😊👍

Recent Update sucks. After the latest update I can no longer choose exactly which song I want to play over this app, same goes for stations and any other playlists. Not to mention all the ads poping up even though I PAY for my subscription. Honestly am considering moving to another service, because they obviously dont care about their customers anymore.

Love the app, and my Alexa devices. I've had Alexa devices all over my house for a year now. Both this app and the device software keep evolving and getting even better. Amazon tech support, if needed, is amazing. Alexa is the best tech I ever bought into, hands down. And btw, for all the goofy paranoia around privacy, I've yet to see even a single ad in response to what I say to her. If I access Amazon with Alexa I see that reflected when I go to, and that's all.

We have 17 items connected... added those over the past 3 years. The app is slow, buggy, and an after thought "duct tape and popsicle sticks patching". Definitely needs a rebuild and cleaner, simpler UI. Changing settings can take you to multiple pages and even away from app. UX is bad. $1000 later and looks like Google Home will be the next change.

I love the functionality of this app for creating my grocery lists, but it is the SLOWEST app ever. It takes forever to load, forever to recognize that I tapped a button, forever to respond. It's bizarre to me that one of the biggest companies in the world who make these devices that are supposed to take over our houses, can't even make an app that works decently.

Becomes worse and worse doesnt even recognize basic commands anymore like stop music. I can start music without a problem.... tried with several of my echoes. Worked perfectly fine for over a year... Update: this is a known bug for one year and has still not been resolved. Trouble shooting didn't help. Only way to stop the music now is from the app..

Yes the app is amazing and the device itself is awesome but there is one problem i am facing. Although i already have an account added and verified. I go to my settings to allow drop in on my echo and gives me an error and to try it again later. I have tried too much times to count and it is still the same problem.

Dual language needs a lot of improvement. She doesn't have an ear for Spanish. Often, she thinks she is hearing English when Spanish is being spoken. Sometimes she'll understand something in Spanish, but answer in English. She needs more intelligence. She wont play an album when there is a song with the same name (she just plays the song, and I've tried different ways of telling her differently.) She needs to know if a flash briefing has been spoken before. I have more, but space limited.

In short : Do not buy it. Waste of time and energy and money. Poor software. Not up to the expectation. It uses Saavn or prime to get songs. The playlist is very limited. it will not allow to play our favorite song. Always need to adjust and play with available 20 odd songs. What ever question we ask, it say " hmmm, I do not about that" . Or it will not respond. Using only as bluetooth speaker. Other than that its waste to buy. Google Mini home is much better than is moron device.

Used to work ok but lately it can't connect to an ALREADY PAIRED device 5 minutes after disconnect. The Echo says "having trouble entering pairing mode" when YES I tried RE-PAIRING 100 times. Always has trouble connecting to Roomba, even in the same room and YES, even the same room as the GD Modem and YES, EVERY OTHER device is still connected and YES working just fine. And this is all when using THIS POS app. Help sections are worthless as well. FIX THIS DAMN THING!! 100's of $'s going to waste

If this app would have worked right from the beginning, my mother's stroke would have been less serious. I spent 20 minutes on wifi and celular trying to dropin to my echo to get help App is completely useless, i have an echo dot in my room. My mother is in the living room. My mother is feeling very ill and the app wont load the communication tab or connect to the echo in My room to tell my kids to go check on her. Thats the only use i have for this stupid device's

Well, thanks to whatever you did to this app, my Alexa auto that I've had since the beginning is now barely a jukebox. Won't make phone calls, won't drop in another echo devices, it's turned to pure garbage. Absolutely useless. Sure am glad I got it for the early tester price and didn't pay whatever you guys are charging for it now.

Alexa is so helpful and useful for so many everyday tasks, plus the entertainment of music, book readings, facts checking. (Perhaps our politicians could check with Alexa before tweeting or giving speeches?). I am looking forward to the further development of Alexa applications.

Like all of Amazon apps this one is equally as laggy and slow. It's a wonder, a multi billion dollar company and they can't make an app that actually works without hanging and lagging. No other app I use ever lags even close to as much as the Alexa app so even by Amazon standards, this one is super laggy.

Struggling alexa app isn't working as it should and trying to get help seems to be like trying to get blood from a stone! My alexa is in a different language although I have tried changing country of residence and reinstalling the app I still have issues so can't use alexa and its features. I've emailed and tried to contact via email but response is 'sorry this is not available at this time' although we have tried different days and times still get the same response. 😮

Pretty buggy. I own 3 Echos and the App works with them only half the time. Changing the name of a device is way more painful than it needs to be. The "clear" button (the x) doesn't work. Drop-in doesn't work. Announcements don't work. Overall has good potential, but needs a lot of work!!

Useless, but seems to function adequately. I will not spend .99$ on any such device or any features for it. But that says more about me than it does the device. So to me,it's a glorified fm radio that answers questions. Ah, the future.

Nopersonalwakeword.Appslow. Skillbrowsing loads template , than loads another list with the actualskills slowly. Sorting option changesback when you go back to the skilllist. Dot's don't work as bt speakerphone! No useful skills without acc. linking. Its more about building brands and tie users to theese, than making good product.I can't use phone for voicecommands, just stops listening instantly, also plantronics headset unable to unlock phone so I can't really use that either. I could go on...

They fixed the speaker sound issue for video calling...but now it won't register when you hangup on a video call! Usually it's just an annoying notification that won't go away but when it's connected to the car.. It won't hangup and go back to the radio! It just thinks it's on a call!

Routines can't automate the most simple things in the world. You can't even tell Spotify to start in random mode or skip the first song. Tried this with Google home: easily set up in 5 minutes. Annoying. Why can't we just add voice line commands that work outside of routines??

I don't use the app that often actually but my 7 yr old just hijacked the downstairs echo so whilst having a volume battle I was having a nose round the app for the 1st time in a while. I was quite pleased to discover the announcement and drop in features, those have already, and will continue to come in very handy with 2 fast growing little girls 😂 as will activity tracker. I do use Alexa all the time and her skills continue to be expanded throughout our household as we add more smart features

Activate on not only my but everyone's voice command, sometimes automatically actives even when the room is quite silent. And sometimes not activate on voice command, then i have to manually tap the alexa command button... I retrained my voice data but nothing happened. Very bad experience!!!

Gotten worse in some areas, stagnant in others Run into issues n bugs enough to annoy. seem to make UI changes that get worse each time. It also does a really poor job of playing/controlling music on your devices with freezing or not working when using the app as the controller. Using phone Alexa button is very limited n useless. Plus it's not really improved in 3/4 yrs, both app n Alexa. Very limited in routines n must use outside apps like IFTTT for stuff that should be basic features.

I Really, Really, Really wish that the position of items in Lists could be changed to group items together and to prioritize them ! ! ! Some apps display arrows on the right side when an item is selected, so it can be dragged to another position. Really, Really, Really good idea ! ! !

So buggy. It hasn't worked properly with hue lights, which is the main reason most people buy echos let's be honest, for ages. Devices constantly show offline when they aren't and put out annoying announcements about how they "don't support" hue lights when they obviously do. Terrible app

This app should be integrated with Amazon prime music otherwise it isn't useful. I have used Google Play music with Google assistant and their integration was perfect. I loved that. Just say the song and Google assistant will pull that song from the app and play. Alexa instead plays song inside this app not Amazon prime music and that makes me wonder the purpose of it. + it can't even work offline line Google assistant does.

Slow! Sooooo slow. Tap on something in this app... Hang out 15 sec while that tap loads. Turn on your lights real quick? Nope. 15+ sec. Check your shopping list? Need a min or two. What a sad excuse for a reasonable use of resources by a mega wealthy money farm. Oh, and they ask for ratings in the app store continually, even when you've left them a flaming bag of a review.

I love my Alexa apps and devices! I have 3 echoes at my house, one in my car and a plethora of smart devices that are designed to work with her. I use them for alarms, directions, recipes and anything else you can imagine. And she learns more every day. There aren't enough stars!

Following the latest update to the Alexa App there is no way to play music from your Amazon Music Library from within the App. There used to be a 'Browse Music' option after touching the 'Play' option at the bottom of the screen but this has now disappeared!!! From the 'Main Menu' there used to be a 'Music' option (before 'Lists') which let you select between 'My Music Library' or 'Amazon Music' but this has also disappeared!!! Have contacted Amazon and am awaiting a second callback.

Geared to sell more Amazon product and partner services. I have had an Alexa device for about a month now. I'm a newbie with Alexa. She can turn the lights on and off, tell me the weather, but as far as media she will insist on hawking Amazon product. For a week she could bring up my local radio station ( but only through Tune In Radio, a partner service) by voice command. Now when I ask for the station she always gets it wrong steering me to a more commercial station. In this app you cannot edit the Music and Books area of the app. So you end up with a load of unwanted suggestions plugging the screen.

Wish the app on my phone had an easier way to stop app completely. Have to force stop through phone settings.* Update can no longer force stop app.2nd Update: I uninstalled Android auto oh, and that did the trick. My echo Auto plays music on the first request. I just wish that it work with Android auto that way I could have my navigation up on my screen in my car unfortunately I have to deal with the navigation on my phone if I need directions 2 somewhere.

I use as companion to the Echo Show 5 and think the app was designed for a different kind of hardware. Routines limited owing to , error message 'device not currently supported'. Doesn't handle pause/resume play very well, default goes back to music whatever you are doing. Wake word issues when not using the word "Alexa", routines don't respond.

The app works which is a plus but it is slow at doing anything, adding switches and extra stuff is easy. I find I do more on the Show screen then actually on the app, also I'd like to see a Samsung health skill (obviously not an Amazon problem but a Samsung issue) like the fitbit one plus on the older Show it dose not show the songs name playing when on Bluetooth yet it dose on the new Show.

This app needs a floating widget. Preferably with customizable size (of the floater), choice of devices to show, and just better usability (there's not even a useful home sceen widget). I want to grab my phone, tap a widget, select a device (which expands a control panel - on/off, volume, dimming, etc.), and flip a switch; THAT quickly. It's confusing that random low-level developers provide floating widgets, and Amazon still can't be bothered to make their products easier to interact with.

Really struggle with this app. It regularly disconnects from the wifi and getting the speaker back up and running on that is not 'simple' or user intuitive. Now having the frustrating issue it doesnt recognise my spotify. There has got to be something simpler that this speaker / wifi system...

Some of the options are confusing and not well explained but unfortunately you need the app to setup the echo and for anyone reading this the echo dot 3rd gen is a nightmare to set up with this it took me ages when it should have been 5 or so mins because the instructions weren't clear on what to do p.s still not setup properly since this rating was wrote

my echo dot used to be able to connect to spotify via spotify connect(without blutooth). Everything from this app suggests that should still be possible. I sent the same thing to Spotify and they simply told me to resync my account through the app(points the finger). Please tell them to fix it.

Good - but slow to respond at times. Great spread of functionality. Limited access to log files when things go wrong e.g. heating does not come on - why? For any other provider this would probably merit a 5 star - but for Amazon my expectations are very high.

Total BS.. considering it is supposed to represent the richest company in the world , this app is totally useless. I've always had and continue to have connecting problems with the echo devices and my smart switches and bulbs.. it is not intuitive and has a mind of its own. I guess all they want to do is eavesdrop and hope we order something. I've just installed another smart switch and added it to the app.. but when I'm commanding Alexa to switch it on, it says it can't detect it..

I have only been using the app for two weeks. It seems to work ok. My one issue is that I would like the developers to consider adding voice alerts in addition to the breaking glass and smoke alarm notifications in the guard settings.

Its amazing. This is links to Ring. Adt. Smart plug, makes call, clear as a bell. Haven't had it a week and bought another today. I have the plum color that matches my decor nicely and glad to have the turn off microphone feature. I love it!

Alexa is a great concept but too often it doesn't understand, doest do what you ask or chirps up for no reason. The App isn't very intuitive although if you persevere long enough (and use Google) you can often find what you're looking for.

Terrible. After a 'drop in call' the app still says it's connected. Drains battery like no other - despite telling system to put app to sleep when not in use. Uninstalled and re- installed. Fairly heavily invested in Alexa hardware. Will uninstall and rely on devices themselves.

Needs serious improvements like the language choice. In 2020 it's not so uncommon to speak different languages and setting different apps in different languages, for this one should be the same but you can't, you have to change the whole phone language only for one app and that is quite stupid

Download Alexa app and changed my assistant from Google to Alexa App. Received my first phone call asked alexa to answer it but never worked so tried to unlock my phone to answer it but couldn't even complete that task. Alexa became the worst experience I've had since trying to use this app on my phone! Back to Google to manage my phone! Uninstalling!

App is broken and non of my echos or fire tvs can do routines or control any smart devices. Even the simplest of comands like turn off lights. The response i receive no is "i dont not know how to set (named device) to that setting. Or my favorite is "OK" then nothing happens. Customer service convinced me to wipe the app delete all routines and start over that took 2hrs and nothing has changed. The second time i refused to delete everything and so customer service said they could not help me.

The app is pretty neat and gives all of the features required to maintain the the echo. The colors are nice and the place ment of content is good as well. My only issue is that the app eats loads of data and isnt fluent travelling between screens.

Paired with my Alexa earbuds cause the radio and music function to constantly run in the background and no matter what I do I can't get it to stop the app from starting back up again and continue to run. Unfortunately if I can figure out a solution soon I'll be uninstalling the app and returning the Alexa ear buds.

Love love love being able to tell the echo just to add something to my list. Wish I could organize the list once it's made. And maybe the height of each row could be shorter so we can see more items on the screen at one time.

The app is good, but I find at times, the whole experience confusing. There are things that I might find interesting but asking the question to get a response might not be in the correct order. I know the company tries and I guess in time it will work out.

I use the Alexa app for several hours every day because I have a large Kindle library that she will read which is awesome. Only deal is I wish you could change her voice. She has a Matthew voice which is nice but I can't seem to get it to be permanent. But for the most part good app

An app I downloaded to use with this worked fine for months. Then Alexa stopped recognizing it for no reason. I've reinstalled the individual app several times, and Alexa recognized it a couple of times then stopped. Sometimes Alexa loads another app that is related to the app I'm asking for even though I haven't enabled that other app. I've given up expecting anything more that the time or weather from Alexa and Echo Dot.

My wife has alzeimers, my Alexa echo has given her a new life, she now sings along with the oldies, (it's short memory that's the problem) I only wish that I had bought this marvel sooner, can't thank you enough, again and again, thank you. Peter Biddulph.

I used to be able to play music and radio on both devices. Suddenly the Echo says it doesnt support music and radio. The App is taking the L for changes made to Alexa. Especially if I have to go out and buy a newer Alexa.

It's getting better all the time from when it first came out. Although it's still along way still I think that Alexa will be the most used in the future. It's a pity that we will become to lazy in the future as well. I'm still a man's on type of guy yes call me old fashioned but it is the way I brought up

I downloaded this app since I was gifted an Echo Dot. I truly don't use it near as much as I thought I would. I gave 5 stars because it hasn't presented any problems. I just don't use it very much at all.

After updating application on Redmi note 8 pro,Alexa stopped working. And I am also not able to create my voice profile. Its keep saying after updating the application that "the device you are using is not optimised for voice capturing. Please help me out..... And also a request that I want use it hindi language also so please if possible do the needful. Thank you in advance. Waiting for developer reply.....

Alexa is now my live in assistant, I can ask her anything from miles to the sun to what radio I want to listen to. Her voice is very pleasant to listen to especially first thing in the morning. Great app, no complaints.
