    365 I have installed the Sep 16/20 update and I still cannot send emails. The send icon is greyed out. This has been over a week now. What is the fix? I am on an android phone. UPDATE: Finally works again after the Sep 25 update. Took about 4 updates for it to fix. UPDATE: the latest auto updates have reverted this back! Greyed out 'send' button. Please fix!

    sign in I've been using outlook for quite some time. I like the mobile app because it simply works. I really don't like the built-in mail app from Samsung and the only thing I actually used the Gmail app for is just well Gmail. I use mobile Outlook to maintain connection with all of my regular email account and my business email account. It works great and flawlessly with all of them except sometimes there's a bit of a synchronization issue between all the systems

    download App used to work great, but in the last 3 days Ive had to reinstall it 6 or 7 times. Says emails are deleted but wont remove them, shuts down and has to reload all emails, wont always send emails without reinstalling app. The last update has made this un-usable! Liked it as it linked to Outlook on my computer, now Im not too sure about it.

    365 login This is a hopeless interface with Android. I keep getting same reminders for the appointments endless times in my smart watch which is paired to the smart phone! There is no way i can stop it as dismissing the notification doesnt help! The calendar integration with the email doesnt help really as the interface for the calendar is shoddy and unusable.

    mail Their email is okay, nothing to write home about. The filters occasionally don't work the way they are supposed to. And worst of all, the calendar does not incorporate tasks into it the way the Google Calendar does. The reason I've given this app such a low rating is that everything that is good about it is something that is expected of a product by Microsoft, while everything that is bad about it is a surprise, as one would not expect such missed from a company of this size and reputation.

    support The recent update of the Outlook app made the app useless to me. With the latest update all of the links inside email bodies are opened with the bundled browser with the app which means I cannot use any installed browser on my phone to open the link with. This is just horrible. Microsoft didn't care that this implementation will hurt the usability of the app.

    for mac I have used outlook for years. No issues until now. I can't stand that when there is a link in the email, it opens inside outlook now on bing, not my default browser like before. Why isn't there an option to turn that off? I have to constantly push open in browser. I should be able to choose my browser, not have bing forced on me.

    web app The forced in app browser is ridiculous, plz change back to installed browsers asap. Also issues with the gSuite email account that I have from my university. As alumni I have 2 aliases tied with old student email account used to log-in. This only lets me send as the student account not aliases so I have to use Gmail for my most professional email addresses. Kinda defeats the purpose of a "unified" client.

    calendar Generally a good system that satisfies my requirements but sometimes it seems to go wrong when involved in messages to large groups of people. Sometimes I don't get all the messages and if I want to reply to just one person it appears that others receive that message. Need to sort that out!

    Frustration at best... I've now had 3 phones with the same experience. Application seems to always need to be updated on PC. Phone would say its connected, you'd be able to see recent pics, but messages wouldn't sync. It gets worse when you try using multiple PCs. It's almost like the connection never switches. I thought maybe this was my home network. I turned on cell data so it would "always stay connected" still no good. I tried having someone else try at their home, with the same results.

    Only 1 Star ⭐- why, - The app allows you to add a second Hotmail account,then a few hours later it doesn't have permission for the second Hotmail account, although it has all the permissions granted. It is so annoying having to keep resetting the app just to get the second Hotmail account to update,then to get the message again it doesn't have permission for the second Hotmail account. Microsoft and Android are not very compatible. 1 Star ⭐ Only Outlook.

    I can not get notifications back on my watch, when I did they were duplicates and excessive in the way that they wouldn't dismiss with the phone app (not synced). When I get a new email and tap on the notification it just opens a blank inbox. I have to close the app and go back to open it the long way. This app needs some major under the hood work. Less add ons more basics first. Update: it no longer opens the blank inbox. It just doesn't open anything at all! Where's the negative stars?

    At the first look, it seems rather promising but starts to look inferior after some usage, on comparison with other email clients. It does not have any basic formatting features that are offered in other apps like Gmail. The emails are also synced way slower in comparison to Gmail. But has a better visual experience than other Email apps. There are some serious sync issues with this app.

    One of the most terrible apps when it comes to notifications. The calender will keep notifying about the meetings every minute after the set reminder. It even sends notifications when the meeting has started and the meeting is over. They get pushed on my phone and it absolutely annoying. Dismissal of the notifications doesn't work as it pops up again. Can't delete it because it is controlled by the company.

    Horrible product... Even worse support. Basic email functions can't be done on the app. Constantly logging in to web or other app to see emails i can't due to grouping. All of Microsoft support is completely useless. Nobody can help you. It is all circular support that goes back to a automated web solution center.

    Every time there's an update, I have to uninstall the app and reinstall again. All of my emails show up as "This message has no content". Even new emails that are just coming in. I don't have any other good apps for my email, so I want to like this one more, but the updates make it difficult for me to give a 5 star review.

    After latest update 4.2039.2 (October 9) IMAP accounts are completely broken. My IMAP email works with PC clients (Windows 10 Mail, Thunderbird), but not in this app using the same configuration anymore. I reinstalled the app, but the issue is still the same. It works right after the IMAP account setup, but when the app is closed (or the phone restarted) and started again, it displays a "messages and calendar updating..." message and the Inbox is stuck in Getting new messages. New email notification also doesn't work. Sending messages is also broken (STARTTLS on port 587). Resetting the account won't fix it either. All of this had worked before. Please do some basic functionality tests before releasing a new version.

    New update falsely claims to allow you to put the calenders in the built in app. It actually fired the exact opposite and wants to force you to sync your personal calendars with your work place. That's a messed up lie to put in the What's New section. Displays emails that we deleted 8+ months ago in the inbox for no logical reason. Also Hijacks search. This app behaves like malware. Do not install.

    It doesn't want to open, why? Not easy to resolve. Now it won't let me delete it archives items and deleted don't show up in trash. What does archive mean and how do I change it back to delete? Have deleted and reinstalled outlook twice. It deletes on request for a week. Then started to archive what I deleted. How do I get rid of archive? Why does it change its settings without my instructions and then not respond to my instructions?

    Mails update arrive fast in notifications. But when one opens the mailboxes, it updates very slowly. Search function also responds very slowly. While this is partly due to the slower network connection, other mailboxes like the gmail one are able to update faster. It is frustrating when it takes more than 15 mins to open one particular mail for responding when you know the mail arrived much earlier in the notifications. Further the mail list always needs to be downloaded again which is very slow

    I keep having the issue of I don't get notifications for emails on my phone and I don't know why. I've uninstalled and reinstalled the app and still nothing. Which is really bad for me since my college uses outlook for emails and I need to know when those email drop instead of finding out 2 days later

    After updates some accounts stop working. The past few updates have caused me a lot of frustration. I use multiple email accounts (1 exchange business and several personal IMAP accounts) with the Outlook app, but lately after updates of the app, some accounts just stop working. It will just give an empty account saying "Downloading your messages". Those messages however never download. The only way to get them back is to clear all Outlook App data and add the email accounts again. I’m getting very close to permanently giving up on this app and going back to something like K-9 email ,which has always worked flawless in the past. Oh and notifications are an issue. Even if I put an account on "Do not disturb" I will still often receive notifications. Please get your act together Microsoft.

    Recently the app has stopped syncing with my accounts, no matter what I do. It also won't let me delete my emails. The only way J can delete them is to go on my computer. This didn't used to be a problem, but some of the recent updates have crippled my emails.

    Overall great. 1 issue is the inbuilt browser mode is unnecessary and in my case annoying. I can't use email and Web same time. I prefer seperate app so that I can multi-task. Twice I was annoyed because I couldn't see the code that I received via email and couldn't enter by going back and forth instead multi-tasking. 2nd time was with unsubscribing am email here I had to go back and forth instead multi-tasking. I want options. I want to turn this feature off.

    Without fail, one time every single week, this app tells me to "log in to your account." When I input my password, it pretends to be logged in but will not send anything or load new emails. The only way around it is to COMPLETELY DELETE the account from the app, and then add it back. This is extremely annoying, and does not happen on outlook for PC or any other email service I have used.

    App crashes a lot, kindly look into it. Automatically closes a lot and have tried several times to uninstall and reinstall. Then works fine for some time then again crsahing starts. As official mails are synced so facing lot of issues in viewing mails while i am traveling and don't have laptop to view my mails.

    My sign in information may have changed and app asked me to relogin again which is fine. But when I pressed the 'sign in' button, it brings me to a blank white page and there is no place to enter my credentials!! I restarted my phone and it is still the same problem.

    The app itself is fine. But the process in order too actually regain access too you're account if you forget passwords is unbearable. Ive been using my hotmail account since 2007, and now I can't use it or access any of the important emails because I have to try and remember a bunch of stuff outside of the standard recovery questions. Will be switching to Gmail for everything I guess.

    Freezes a lot when I got to search, then crashes and has to be closed. A fix is needed. Also sometimes there are problems with freezing when constructing an email and again it freezes and crazes. Always been like this on my HTC and latest Huawei Mate 10 Pro. Please find a fix! Also newest problems are: errors when downloading documents, won't open PDF's.

    It's great but I have a few suggestions. If I filter by unread, I'd like to swipe through to the next messages it has filtered when I select a message to read. I'd also like to be able to pin messages like I can on web, or at least see a tab of pinned messages. It would also be helpful if I could add senders to the focused mail box, sometimes there are important messages that don't come into the focused mailbox. Other than that, I like getting all my mail accounts to one place. It's great!

    Terrible update. Since the app updated my emails now don't sync or they show as being in the inbox but with no content. I have removed and readded my IMAP email 5 times now, it works for a few hours then suddenly decided to update inbox and linked calendars and all the content of the emails is once again lost.

Nevertheless slow updates and lack of customer support prevails (even when the "customer"),has given imporments on Microsoft " software applications and related security enhancements". As usual Microsoft does not take notice of reviews and feedbacks posted even in their official forums. Rating will be thus low

    Been using this app for years and seen it very slowly mature. However, for me this has now been ruined by forcing links to open in within the apps own browser window. Why? I assume to allow MS to gather more analytics. The issue, well there are many, the most annoying one being it doesn't function well as a browser, you have to re-log into sites, downloads appear to corrupt that don't in chrome or edge. You have to close the website to continue using outlook. Unfortunately this app is going.

    This is a truly awful app. I have been perservering with it for the past year despite niggly problems with its hit and miss syncing and sending problems but this latest update has been the final straw. I am now completely unable to send emails, I get constant error messages about credentials being wrong on one of the accounts even though I have repeatedly put in the correct ones.

    Has a known software bug that they have not fixed. Randomly and periodically when you hit send/ an error box pops up "An error has occurred. Your message failed to send...." The pop up box continues to pop up and does NOT go away. All mailboxes have to be deleted, and reconfigured. Iy is a pain! I have submitted numerous support tickets to ask when a fix will be issued. No answer. I do not recommend.

    Yeah, I agree with previous comments about how hard it is to access my email account quickly , what's with all the endless update stuff ? Always found Outlook good before, but not now. Also, find it difficult to sign out from one account and sign in to my alternate account. Maybe it's just me .....

    This is a good app. You can your work email and various others even if they are not with Hotmail. My only issue is that there is no option to block or report spam email on the app. If this can be added I would give a 5 star review. Its just been one of the most annoying this to not have, making me have to go on the website email to do that.

    This has been my 5 star go to app for all things email until a few days ago when an update seems to have ruined it. I'm now getting bizarre behaviour with message content failing to download, deleted messages not being deleted, normal messages appearing in focused inbox and complete crashes. I'm forced to uninstall it. I'm going to have to find another client as email is too important to wait for a potential fix. Sorry Outlook but you've failed me.

    I really like the app and have tried to use it several times over the years. Unfortunately I have one major complaint. Whenever there is a reminder for an event, the notification will go off every minute from the reminder time indefinitely. It doesn't matter if I dismiss the notification, use one of the quick links to address the event, nothing. The only way to stop getting a notification every minute is to unlock the phone and open the app. It's very annoying. My boss has the same problem.

    Increasingly frustrated with this app. 1) When I start writing a new email, the cursor starts in the 'To' box then suddenly jumps to the body while I'm typing the recipient's email address. 2) The app opens on emails deleted days ago, not the inbox. 3) I *hate* the way links now open in an MS browser instead of my default browser. 4) MS spam filtering is awful. I get the same blatant spam every day. 5) The app takes a silly amount of my phone storage space - 800mb. Rubbish.

    Lacking in reliability. Buggy. I can not tell you the number of times I have to mark the same email as junk before it shows back up in my inbox again, by the same domain, at the same time it was delivered the first time. If I make a domain as junk, it should never show up in my inbox again, but yet it does.. every day.. Sometimes I'll delete emails altogether only to have them resurface as "new" with a time stamp from when it showed up the first time.

    Not the app but it's their algorithm. It has been years and Outlook algorithm does not improve. I receive a lot of phishing emails pretending to be Netflix subscription or PayPal. Which is annoying. I never failed to receive monthly from different email. I wonder if thisnwas caused by my Amazon purchases but they should know how to filter these kind of messages. Annoying.

    App stopped syncing password error. About a month ago Outlook said I needed a new device pin that was at least 4 digits long... well I have more due to company policy, so confused I went through the prompts thinking Outlook had just got reset after an update. Once on the new pin screen it told me I needed an EIGHT digit pin and refused to sync without it. IT says it's an Outlook problem and they can't fix. Now I can't use Outlook on my phone, utterly useless! *Use Boxer instead everyone!*

    I'm not sure why it is but on my tablet, Outlook will open in my default browser. But, on my phone, Outlook only opens in the Internet browser. It is the same app, both have been updated. I had to uninstall from my phone and use my Gmail account for my Outlook address. Please fix! There are many reviews complaining of the same issue. Outlook USED to be the greatest. Now, it stinks!

    Sucks!!! Opening links in it own browser sucks. Why would you do this? All my passwords and payment methods are saved on my browser not your rubbish on e that doesn't scroll down the page probably and takes an age to load.     Really cool tool, it does exactly what it promises. For me it works really well, even with Google Calendar (which is synchronizing very fast). One feature request would be for the Wear OS watchface is to display the current date on the always-on screen. Currently the time and the circular calendar indicator is displayed and have to wake up the watch in order to see the date. it would be awesome to see that as well.

    One of the worst apps. So many bugs after every update. Now they've removed any way to report a bug. One of the wealthiest software companies and they don't care about the end user. Shameful. The latest issue is when I open an email to read it, the message won't display and there's no way to report it. Useless.

    I can't stand this app. My company requires use of this app for our email accounts. It crashed, stopped syncing emails, I've had to uninstall, reinstall, and now can't seem to re-add accounts, etc. Such a hassle. I also prefer the native calendar app on my phone but I'm forced to use this one and can't get a weekly view.

    The one star rating is in relation to the adds that appear in the top right corner of the app. Some of the adds are for an AR500 rifle and I don't subscribe or search for such things. And I don't know why I'm seeing adds, especially political and guns campaigns on Outlook months before elections. These adds weren't active until two months ago. I don't want to see adds at all while checking email.

    One of the best mainstream email apps I've ever used. The "Focused" and "Other" tabs for separating the types of mail you get makes your email experience so much easier and less distracting when you just want to get on with you need to get done at and then deal with 'other' stuff when you have free time later. Yes, once in a while you may get an email in the wrong place but that's quite rare and also to be expected when you receive something a little ambiguous. All in all, a brilliant app.

    I'm having quite a lot of problems with the app, sometimes I miss notifications about the emails, also it shows that I have 6 emails in the inbox when I have nothing, and if I happen to compare with the web access it's not in sync. Resetting the application won't work, from time to time I have to reinstall it.

    I used this app for many years, but now leaving due to this bad idea to embed Edge browser when you click on a link, without option to disable it. The consequence is that your default browser is not used and moreover your App (where you are alreqdy authenticated) opening rule is not triggered. Very bad feature that interfere with Android principle.

    Pretty powerful system. It's sorts email like any other app, but it has a little more customization. I wish it had more settings like the desktop version. If you want the full experience, with sorting senders automatically and more, set everything up on a desktop and your phone will do the same.

    This was great. Now it sucks! It stopped letting me sign in. I uninstalled and now I can't even get it set up again. It's an exchange account not 365. Exchange isn't even an option. Now I have to go though my Gmail app and my contacts aren't synced. I need this app to function for my job. It basically just cut my legs off! Thanks!

    Every time there's an update something goes wrong. My replies don't go through, they stay as drafts, all my folders were emptied and now I can't access the inbox. Message states downloading may take time depending on content and connection. It is useless now compared to what it was. The updates do slot of damage!

Warning: Microsoft has adopted the tactics of malware and adware corrupters, circumventing your system defaults and locking you into using Microsoft's ass browser for all links clicked from email in Outlook. They also bypass Android's system intents and only give you the options to Copy or Open links (the latter in the ass browser).     As of late my emails have been delayed when I send them. I'm also receiving messages that when people send me emails they are getting an error message. Also, when I send out emails during the week, they are getting into people's inboxes all at the same time. Even if I sent them in the different days. Plus, emails sent to me are delayed in the timing for which they are sent. For example someone sent me an email yesterday at 3:45pm but I did not see it in my inbox to almost an hour later. FIX ASAP

    Up until the most recent update, it worked just fine. Easy enough to use. With the new update, the app does not even open. It says that it's updating mail and calendar, and then it closes the app. Update (4 stars down to 3): With the most recent update, email addresses no longer auto fill which is highly inconvenient. The widget also shows different emails in the inbox versus what the inbox looks like when the actual app is open.

    Outlook has been working very well for me since I've installed it. However it is now not allowing me to send new emails. Everytime I try to send a new email I put in the recipients email address but it doesn't allow me to send. In the end I've quit out of the email i was writing and it will have the email in my drafts with no recipient. Could someone please fix this. Edit: this has been fixed in the latest update. Thank you

    Now it automatically opens links in-app, with no option to open them in your default browser. It was terrible before (overzealous spam filter, opening to a white screen when tapping a notification, among other issues), but that is just insulting. And now I realise they've removed the "Go to Inbox" link that used to appear once you've cleared your Junk folder, that is usually filled with emails from accounts you've marked as "Not Spam" for the past ten years.

    The app is usually great. Recently, I have noticed that I am not getting any notifications from the app, even though I have them turned on. I use Outlook for work and school, and found it great that I would get email notifications through my phone and watch, however, it stopped doing that and I'm not sure why. If there is something I need to do, such as re-installing the app, I will do so, or whatever else is suggested.

    Randomly logging out, crashing, user interface is unintuitive, search is primitive, very little integration with the rest of the Office ecosystem. It's OK for basic use, but any user requiring at least some degree of productivity will be face-palming themselves. MS can do better for their enterprise customers. There are other much better email clients that at least work and have a UI designed by someone that knows a thing or two about user experience. Good news that Citrix is even worse.

    Since the latest update, links in emails no longer open in my phone's default browser, just in its own browser, which sucks. And there doesn't seem to be any way to change what browser links open in. Also, it keeps asking me to sync the calendar, but I don't want to use outlook's calendar, and there's no way to keep that notification from popping up and I have to dismiss it 10 times a day.

    This app sucks! I can't just go to MSN and open my damn email anymore! I have to go through another, what looks like an update page, to get to my email! If I didn't have my email attached to everything, I would shitcan email all together! I'm so tired of apps that think they are making things easier or better, when they are actually just adding one more giant, pain in the ass, hoop to jump through!

    Allows you to read, compose, and transfer emails easily. Works well with other emails like Gmail, so that you are able to switch between accounts seamlessly. All in all, it works as described, requires no additional purchases or upgrades, a simply all in one tool for your phone. I only wish other apps were as good.

    When you click links, opens in MS Edge and cannot find anyway to change this. I am annoyed this isn't optional, hence the 1 star. Its completely ruined what was a nice straightforward app. When I open links in other browsers it saves where I was so I can come back to it later, no such thing with this new feature. Microsoft, everyone pretty much uses most of your products, must you force MS Edge on people as well. Is this really necessary.

    App stopped syncing, wouldn't take my password and now keeps reporting a server error. Support told me to delete my account and re-enter it. I followed this advice. Same error occurs. Lucky for support, I cannot get in touch with them any longer because I have zero accounts at all set up in outlook. If this program wasn't required for my work I would never use it. It is clunky and frustrating and not at all user friendly.

    Every single time I get a notification of a new email and I click the notification, I'm taken to the app and I'm greeted with a notification that the message failed to open. Half the time this happens I watch the message disappear from my inbox and have to wait 2-3 minutes for it to magically reappear so that I can read it. This program is a huge step back in already existing/working user input guided spam filtering. I can't make any sort of filter that states everything from this sender is junk

    Please, Please! Fix this issue! Despite all the updates this problem is never addressed. Since 3 months ago the app is inclined to freeze and the screen goes blank white with a blue header when attempting to open an email from a notification. Its such a nuisance when I cannot gain access to emails when I need to read them. If this were fixed I'd give 5 stars.

    The app lacks of a feature which suggests a folder to move the inbox item to (e.g. several emails with the same subject will most likely be transferred to the same folder, however the app doesn't suggest anything so you need to do everything manually). One alternative could be to add a search bar when you click on the move folder button in which you can type the name of the folder to which you wish to move your inbox item.

    Update: still having this issue. Very frustrating. Major issue with the notifications actions. I tap the delete button, or archive button several times, but nothing happens. I have to manually open the app, and then delete. Defeats the purpose of having notification actions.

    Definitely my favorite email app and have been using it for years. However the last update they introduced their own built-in web browser which is absolutely terrible. When I click a link in an email it used to go and use my default browser which is Chrome which I have on my passwords on. Now it opens up in their browser and I have to copy it and then manually open up Chrome and paste the address. Please revert this change!

    A week ago I checked my emails, as i always do and i found out that all of my emails in my inbox where gone. Not deleted or moved just gone so i couldnt recover them.. i contacted the support and their suggestions where to log out and log back in and just select and unselect the focus option.. then i started receiving 40+ emails that looked like spam saying that my account will be closed. I kept communication with the support but they are useless and laughable. Shame this use to be a good app..

    Great app to use. Very user friendly. It does not recieve a 5 star review for one reason, a very useful feature is missing. The Nine email app provides an option to create a VIP email list where you can set up notification pushes strictly for emails recieved by individuals on your VIP list. This dramatically cuts down on the number of times your phone beeps or watch vibrates, still allowing you to focus on important emails. If Outlook creates this feature, a superior app would not exist.

    The basic functionality of this app works well, my complaint is the push notification reminders for my calendar, if I dismiss a notification, it will continue to send push notifications every few minutes for the same event, no matter how many times I dismiss this, it should be one and done

    On my huawei, I've got my 6 email accounts set up but every few weeks it ditches them all but 2 and I have to reads them. The calendar also keeps defaulting to have all my shared calendars seletected randomly and I have to go through and deselect them. Really really annoying. Didn't have this issue when I had an apple Phone tbf.

    Read emails remain unread when I open the app again. Its too bugged. Half the time goes in unreading the same emails again and again even with swipe function. Moreover this app doesn't show all mails. When I login on my desktop I still see some unread new mails which aren't displayed by this app. How can this app be so useless. Thank goodness I finally uninstalled this mess and went back to samsung mail app.

    Is a good app but still needs a lot of improvements 1) Add support to open web pages directly in the app (with the Android WebView) 2) Add the option to disable the empty days in the calendar widget 3) Add the month calendar widget (very necessary I think...) 4) Group email from the same conversation (in Gmail) 5) Add compatibility with To-Do (in Gmail)

    After gigabytes of updates, Outlook is getting slightly better. Still, each app on each platform works differently. And the management of DRAFTS is appalling. Just try to go full screen editing a draft and see if it is the one that gets sent out gets destroyed. It seems Microsoft just wants to humiliate and abuse its customers. Look at all the 1- star and 2-star reviews.

    Garbage. Once again, outlook dumped my IMAP settings for all my accounts, and continually prompts for a password - which makes removing the account or switching to another near impossible. Nothing works, it just keeps saying the long is invalid. Setting the account up in the default app works perfect, so it is obviously an outlook issue. Adding photo attachments often makes the app freeze at the prompt to reduce image size. There are many other issues.

    Outlook reminders needs fixing. It doesn't have options to select snooze for reminders. When you swipe to remove notifications on phone it dismisses the notifications on desktop. Even if you select snooze on desktop, the phone overrules the option. Both versions need to be better in sync as I've missed many meetings not realizing the phone dismissed the reminders on desktop.

It keeps opening all email Web links in its own Edge Browser / Bing with no options I can find to stop this to avoid confusion.     So many features, flows, and options different from Windows Phone/Mobile version. Won't list them all, but going from a full-featured, nearly desktop replacement version to this watered-down, limited facade is really tough. I tried to love it, but it slows me down more than it speeds me up. I actually keep my Lumia 950XL nearby for the times I need to search/compose/reply emails -- especially if there is rich formatting or calendering involved. Oh yeah, IMPORTING an .Ics file would be nice, too.

Makes me feel like they want to shove their product down your throat; no thanks. Would much rather uninstall. Great job ruining a product. Really, how does something like this even win votes? How does it seem like a good idea in anyones mind? If users want your crappy browser they'll install it on their system and use it. Why limit choice

    It's a fine email app, but for whatever reason it forces you to open links in the app and not in your preferred browser, which I'm finding indescribably irritating. They also do not appear to have an option to disable this anti-feature, even though I've disabled opening in-app links in the android os settings. Guess I'll have to find another email app.

    Outlook adds a "Bing search" option to the long press on text menu within the whole Android OS, i.e. when you highlight some text, then hold on it to translate it or perform a web search etc. There is no warning that this will happen. There doesn't appear to be a way to turn it off either. Typical Microsoft behaviour. I would uninstall the app, but I need it for work.

    I've always used outlook as my number one email app, but this internal edge browser for email links is the worst. It's a highly frustrating feature as it makes tasks more difficult and time consuming, especially considering it doesn't have the same saved information my normal Web browser does. Somebody has reached out to Outlook to ask if the default browser for email links can be changed (to chrome, Firefox, default browser app etc) but they've said this feature isn't available. Uninstalled.

    As of today, 1 Oct 2020, the Outlook app automatically opens links in Edge. I just conversed with Microsoft and there's no way to disable it. In fact, their help center rep asked me to put a request in with their features department to get it changed!?!?!?! If you want to use ANY other browser, you have to copy a link from your email and paste it into your preferred browser. WHAT THE HELL IS MICROSOFT THINKING!? Do NOT download, use something else, because this app sucks.

    I have been having mail in some language other than English. On the right hand side it says Ad. Upon opening the mail the link opens on some website..?also cannot delete the same as it comes back after deleting, Had seeked help from support but only sweet messages and no resolution.     There is a serious issue with current update. Can see new email in notification but cannot locate that email in app. It is visible after sometime(was not there till 1 hour). Another issue is once email is opened and read, its not marked as read automatically. Even mark as read feature doesn't affect. Development team, please fix these issues.. Thanks

    Worst email app I've ever used! I've been running my business for 6 years and never had a problem with my email till I started using Outlook. The in app functions when I'm running it from my mobile devices (which is most of the time) can only be described as designed by people who were totally incompetent! Functions like attaching files from various other apps and accessing my clipboard to drop in paragraphs of standardized information that I frequently have to send people, epicly fail on it!

    Works half the time. Really frustrating trying to run a business email from this app. I've had to uninstall and reinstall it at least 6 times in the last 2 days because it has been saying every email has no content. If there was another option for my work email, I would definitely switch.

    Was working ok but some update has happened and it asked for my password now I can't even log in. Spent half an hour trying to fix it with no luck. Am about to uninstall the app and use something else. Also the search function never worked properly,. Only ever search contacts not the emails. Wasn't overly user friendly for mobile devices

    I've been on Hotmail/outlook for years - it's always been my favourite. But now I'm tempted to switch to Gmail for the sheer fact that I get SO MUCH JUNK IN MY INBOX. It doesn't matter how many times you report it. I get more junk in my inbox than regular emails. What's the point in having a junk folder at all if the junk isn't being filtered out?

    Outlook has always been great until yesterday when I can only get notifications for new email but can't open it or see it in my inbox. But the email works fine on my laptop and tablet. I tried to reinstall Outlook but I could not log in to my university account. It is disturbing that I have to use my other devices or browser on my phone to keep in touch with my fellow students and my tutor. Please fix it Microsoft ! 🙏

    I gave this app another go and am so pleased that I did. The big issue previously for me was the issue of constantly having to re-enter my pw on an IMAP account. No issues with the recent updates. I love the layout of this app and the built in calendar I find excellent but for the inability to search. With this fixed it would be a 5*. Great work

    Although previous issues have been resolved, being forced to use their own browser when clicking on links is appalling. No option to use a third party browser when clicking the link. 02/08/20 - new emails now appearing in done sort of conversation view, without displaying the past messages. I've not changed any settings. USELESS. Uninstalling, will integrate with Gmail as they seem to know what they're doing.

    This is generally a good app for email but I've had problems with it losing the host and username settings and password on a regular basis, which is frustrating as it needs to be set up again. Have finally given up as it's a recurring problem and moved to a more stable app.

    Why can't you fix the problem of emails not displaying correctly? All of the images on emails are shown in hundreds of little boxes all over the page. I have to view every email offline if possible to see it formatted correctly and if I forward an email to someone else they can't see it properly formatted either. I have contacted customer support over and over again and every single time I am told that it will be fixed in the next update. This has been going on for months now! PLEASE FIX ASAP...

    I really dislike the new 'feature' which opens up email links within the outlook app in Edge. I have logins etc. saved in my default browser and so every time I click a link, I have to click again to reopen the link in the browser I want to use. Edge also does not always scroll down fully to the bottom of the web page, so can be more difficult to use. Plus, it doesn't open links in apps, e.g. ebay link opens in edge instead of the ebay app on my phone. I am now looking for an alternative app.

    Despite having some features I appreciate its not worth dealing with ads. We already get spam/junk; hated having to deal with it from the app itself. No, I don't want to pay for the ad-free version when there are already free ad-free apps i can use to check an e-mail. Ridiculous.

    With the update, it is really really annoying when I click on a website link and opens in the internal web browser rather than in Chrome. The internal web browser is not functional and not user friendly. Please disable this function or give people options to choose to open in another browser. I will choose to not use outlook because of this lack of choice and poor user experience. Additionally, the folders are also harder to use. I wish I didn't update my app.

    The app was working just fine until the most recent update. Since then there are issues with synching IMAP account and, what is very frustrating, loading address book forcing to type the whole address. It requires an immediate fix.

    Terrible email app! It's supposed to support pop3 email accounts, but it does not. I can send email via my pop3 server (AOL), but I cannot receive email. Can only receive email if I delete my pop3 account and set it up again and then can only receive mail once after account set-up, then never again. It's now over 2 weeks since I received mail via Outlook app.

    A good app just got worse. I can't believe I'm forced to use their browser anytime i click on a link. Clicking on links will not open the corresponding app, just opens their web browser Edge, then gives you an option to open you default browser, but will not open the corresponding app. An ongoing issue is you cannot print from the app. Sad I have to forward to GMAIL to print. *******EDIT****** I FOUND A WORK AROUND! Uninstaller Outlook and sign into GMAIL with you Outlook credentials

    When I open my emails they're marked as read which is normal but when I close the app then go back in next time I get more emails all the ones that were marked as read the last time are once again highlighted as unread. Happens everytime. Also I often get notified of an email only to clients to view it and not have it in my inbox and it usually doesn't come through until one or more other emails come in, almost like it's stuck...

    Great email app. Would have a full 5 stars if it had recognition and use of different fonts and typefaces (e.g. Arial, Roman) like it's equivalent on the PC has. Also please could you put in the ability to run the app and data from the SD Card like a lot of apps do. Currently Microsoft Outlook is taking up 1.2 GB of my standard 16 GB phone. There is a large customer base for Microsoft Outlook with people with standard 16 GB phones who may have to switch to other email apps which do. Thank you.

    AU.2019 App crashes unexpectedly. When trying to follow a replied message using the three dots and the bottom of the message and when you reply-all, all cc'd contacts disappear. Fix asap! Update, SE.2020 Looks like the issue above is no longer present but flagged messages and unread mail do not appear in the filter if flagged/unread is in a folder. Development teams like the one for this app are what made entities like Google become the giants they are today.

    Having a lot of difficulty lately with loading email offers. Also receiving a lot of emails saying that I will be disconnected and my account will be deactivated if I don't respond. Something is getting in and sending emails with the Microsoft logo. This is my second time uninstalling and reinstalling in my Android phone.

I sign in with my account details on three platforms plus cloud and each time remove the focused inbox, yet new phone new download (same credentials) and now focused inbox is imposed without even possibility of switching it off!     Since the last update, links open in a terrible built in browser, ignoring your default browser or apps. I use my default browser for a reason. I'm logged into my accounts, it's tied to my password manager, etc. With extra clicks you can open in your own browser but not any other apps. This used to be a useful app but this update makes it frustratingly unuseable for anyone who regularly opens email links. I'll change my rating when this 'feature' becomes optional

    One of My daily productivity app. However since I shifted to an android device, I'm not quite happy with the lack of searching option when you are moving an email to a folder. Its so hard to scroll down and find the folder you are looking for. On iOs there is search option. Hope they roll out this option in the next update.

    Don't know happened but something with one of the recent updates moved all the emails i had under relevant section (i think in English the section is called focus) got moved to the "other" section. Now I effectively have onr mailbox divided into two unsorted mailboxes. P. S. I also really wish there was some way to not use the in-app Web browser

    Where is outbox? I tried forwarding attachment several times, no clarity on the status of email. 1. It's not appearing in sent items 2. Haven't seen any error that could prevent attachment from forwarding 3. It cant be checked in outbox too, since it's not available Why the attachments can't be saved or downloaded?

    Worse compared to the Samsung Email app. The filter takes forever, I can't find frequently used emails anymore, contacts are not integrated into my Samsung contact app anymore, last received email in the thread should be on the top. I am not feeling this app at all.

    This new built-in browser is really ridiculous. It completely disregards your preferences and opens all links internally instead of in the relevant app or the default browser (where you have all your passwords stored and display options setup to fit your needs). There is still no option to change this behaviour after a long time, with so many people complaining in the forums.

    Update 9/2020 - still an absolutely horrible email client. Inconsistent notifications. No notification of messages routed to subfolders. How can this be a corporate solution? Unreliable. Inconsistent. Absolute garbage for a business app. Sometimes notifications come through. Other times, I have to open the app for it to pull messages. No notifications for mails directed to sub folders. Swipinging calendar notifications in the notification area on the app disable them in the desktop completely.

    If you have blocked external images and have a non Exchange account and you click the Download Images link for Images you want/trust, it doesn't. I went back and forth with support but ended up with "We are aware of it and will fix in future updates". There have been several updates since then but issue still persist. If you have pop accounts, don't download this. Update: Another update & stillnotfixed. 9/3 Another update & still not fixed. 9/17 another update & still not fixed.

    Ridiculous bug, for 6 months+ now the app has been constantly showing an error message/pop-up stating that a draft failed to send, though the draft folder is empty and nothing is amiss. This pop-up appears every 20 seconds or so, regardless of how you responded to the last one, and support simply says this is a "known issue" and there is no expected timeline for resolution. Every update, bug still persists. Fix this...

    I think it's a bit oversimplified. I'm not necessarily a fan of dumbing things down (and in the name of what?) which is happening to all the apps everywhere. Please don't follow this silly trend. If you use folders to sort your email, you won't have easy time accessing stuff in this app. Also, the "outlook is draining your battery" notification doesn't make me confident I want to keep using it.

    Was fine until today. Suddenly my main email account wouldn't send or reply to messages and saved them all as a draft. And won't send deafts either. I didn't touch anything, change any settings... nothing. I just went to use my email as normal. Finally got on to customer help through the Android Outlook app and they've left me hanging for 48 minutes now with no response after their initial "is this only happening with ______ email account?" Very, very annoyed.

    This app is very buggy. I have had problem since day one. 1. Automatically signed out every time I open the app 2. Receive notification on new emails but when I open its blank and all the senders would be me 3. Cannot open the app at all 4. When I open other apps this app will appear and disrupt my activities. This is consistent with Microsoft teams as well. Please address this issues in your coming updates Thank you User

    Terrible, there have an error message coming up on the screen I have sent over 40 email messages for last 6 months and all I get we working on this please be patient. This is redicules, because they are claiming to be free they do not feel oblige to fix it. But we pay for outlook so this service is a necessity to have mobile app that is working. Stay away from this app!!!

    The mobile version I'm using on my tablet unfortunatley doesn't deliver a great work from home experience. There are several features that are missing when going from desktop to mobile versions. My greatest frustrations are the lack of collapsable folders and ability to move the folders where I need them to be. In addition to that you cannot higlight specific text freely with your mouse. I find myself using OWA instead of outlook for mobile becuase it delivers a better experience.

    Amazing app! Quick and easy to use. Very intuitive. Syncing and switching between company and personal email accounts is near seamless. Incredibly user friendly and easy to use. Would recommend. Only recommendation would entail being able to adjust notifications for individual user created folders

    Since update 9/25 my emails organize by thread even though I do not have that option selected. I toggle it back and forth and it corrects it for a short period and crashes and goes back to organizing by thread. Also I start reading a thread it crashes and then the email disappeared from view. I have an android phone.

    Need to be able to add tags /categories to calendar events. Can see them but can't add from app. Also all day events need to be more than text in the widget. Like separate lines for each event and colored to match which calendar. And allow all events on calendar to be color coded to category or calendar associated with. I live by my calendar and the color coding helps me see importance! Also print option of some kind!

    The recent change of opening links in the app's own browser is extremely frustrating and there's no option to change this. I have saved information in my default browser which doesn't carry across to the app's own browser meaning I have to copy and paste links from emails into my own browser. Terrible user experience.

    Every update has another hick up. It used to have a short cut to Inbox from Junk folder after deleting unwanted junk. One day it was back for a short period, now it is gone again. WHY? Why change things which worked perfect?

    Please add option to remove contact photo or contact circle. Would like to see a clean inbox with no contact image. Allow opening reply window to full screen and not a small message box with an option to maximise. Add smart search with filter - From, To, Subject to easily find emails. Currently the search is not good. Also please make the dark mode a different shade than plain black.

    Finally can format some text: B but still no colour or highlight... Also still no way to add priority to an important email? Reminders will not go away until you dismiss at least 3x each - annoying interruptions! Needs far better search capabilities. Even after selecting a folder, search results are for everything, cannot filter by to:/from:, subject, no way to narrow results ... poor form.

    Works great 👍. Easy to use 🤔. There is lots of memory 💾. I have had my first email from Hotmail. Kept the email through all the changes to Live and Outlook and MSN messenger back in the day plus whatever other ones there was before. I need it for Microsoft to play Xbox Live on Xbox and haven't had a problem.

    The app is one of the best email apps. But because the others are so horrible, the bar isn't set high. No ads! The spam filters are horrible and they don't learn. In the new version links don't open to the default browser. Remove the build in browser please.

    Why have I had to install the same update three times over the past few weeks? I would also like to know why I'm unable to open an email from my notifications, each time I try the app launches but tells me the mail could not be opened. And for some reason a lot of that mail is funneling into my trash. I didn't have this problem with the app this time in 2019.

    Each time the app is updated, I have to go to each and every folder to start seeing new email. New mail in inbox shows up however the mails that automatically move to different folders based on rules do not appear without manually going to each and every folder. Please fix this. Thank you!

    It's a invasive program, i was forced to install it i ended up with close to 100 Microsoft identical error messages fed up i followed it up and it wanted me to Install Outlook as my Gmail email provider , awaiting feedback from Microsoft after doing a survey told them what had happened but now reading others reviews on here Microsoft are leaving their footsteps all over the internet big time, i wonder if they will clean up over 100 identical screenshots & photo's of error Messages in my photo's
