Reviews From google play store

Really loved this app, loved having all my email accounts in one place. The it renamed all my folders in all 5 of my accounts "non-system". Now I can't find anything. Tried restarting, did not help. Looked for a plug in/paid version hoping for a solution, however unable to find one. Hope this will be rectified so I can keep using the app and don't have to go elsewhere.

Was fine and then just won't sync/log in to my work email (which is what I use it for). Error 503, and after two contacts with Outlook Support issue not resolved. IT says they hear complaints about this app all the time, but never any other apps. Outlook Support said it was on our end. Uninstalling, which is a real shame because when it works it's great!

Outlook is not working after the latest update. I have reinstalled but it is not working. The updated mails are not showing. And when I click the notification, getting some error. I uninstalled and installed the app multiple times, but issue still there. This is really not good. Updated the app on 11/23 also. The issue still persists.

I'm going back to Gmail; Why? You can't send images as attachments, they automatically embed the image(s) in to the email itself! Many businesses have security policies blocking embedded images and cannot view them, I always get a reply asking me to send the images as attachments and I must use another email client to do so! Why Microsoft does this is beyond me, Outlook is a business product, why stop users from sending attachments? Totally ridiculous! Bye, bye@

Is a good app but still needs a lot of improvements 1) Add support to open web pages directly in the app (with the Android WebView) 2) Add the option to disable the empty days in the calendar widget 3) Add the month calendar widget (very necessary I think...) 4) Group email from the same conversation (in Gmail) 5) Add compatibility with To-Do (in Gmail) But the most important thing, when I reply to a email that has an style for some reason, my email copy the same style... Is very frustrating

I have had two flagship Samsung phones (Galaxy S9+ and Note 10+) and in both of them many emails don't display complete (fragment or half cropped vertically), even sometimes they don't display at all. Then I use Outlook on a Windows Phone or Windows and I can see the complete emails. I have looked at configuration and there is no way to fix this serious issue.

Over all the app is easy to use and easy to navigate, my only complaint: spam! There has got to be a way to prevent so much junk email from making it to my spam box. Hotmail, now outlook, has been my primary email for almost 20 years and the amount of spam received has always been my chief complaint.

Outlook has always been my preferred email. The only thing I don't like about the mobile version. You can not block emails you can only mark them as spam. And the spam you can only delete you can not block. And you can not make a spam email as a contact/trust the sender. Other than the spam problem it is great.

I have used this app for a while now and it has been great. However, the app now shows an incorrect number of new emails in the desktop icon badge. If I receive one new email, the desktop icon badge shows that I have over 100 new emails. Outlook Support is not helpful as they keep dodging the issue and except the user to fix it on their end. Fix YOUR bug ASAP.

Love the Dark Mode and the only email app that has this feature. I left Gmail and Samsung Email apps due to the Dark Mode now. Outlook looks awesome at night and easy on our eyes. Send your issues within the app people, not in the Playstore since they don't check it here. I docked 1 star due to the RAM hog by this app, 278 MB in background. Too much memory use. Reduce memory footprint Microsoft.

Terrible. Far behind the default email apps from Samsung or Sony. Strage display of conversations. Difficult to tap reply instead or reply to all. Bottom icons eating the space. Calendar advantage is that you can see availability of the people you invite. Otherwise from UX perspective calendar and its widget is very poor. Using business calendar 2 which is much better.

Updated 11/24/2019 - would like a couple of features added. I would like the ability to set how far back in time the app syncs message. toggle selection of which folders to sync with a sync button prominently in the app so I dont have to sync every folder separately by opening it up. basically the same way it updates folder using mobile Edge browser. it updates all my folders automatically. maybe maximum offline storage setting for people with alot of old messages.

Update 1: still the same issue after the update! Update 2 and 3, same issue! I can't view any of my emails, except after 5 mins wait. *update 12/10* the app still has the same issues, besides the delays! Update version 4.0.39 fixed all the issues, thank you very much Update 25/11: Exchange email is not functioning at all on the app now :(

Brilliant. Just need a few extra features. Would love the ability to change an appointments 'Calendar'. Currently if you make an appointment in Calendar '1', you can't move it or change it to Calendar '2'. Only way to do this is to delete the appointment and re create it in the other Calendar.

Recent updates did improve things. One remaining major annoyance is the scheduling function in the calendar. The drag and adjust is cutsy, but much more of a pain in the posterior than if one could just enter times using the keyboard. Simple can be better, and often is. MS, I know you're so proud of your drag and whatever input, but give us users a break, and let us use the keyboard as an alternative - Thanks!

Greatest mistake is I tried going to outlook from gmail. I never forgot my password and now suddenly your system says something is wrong that I need to sign in again. When I tried to do so, you says something is wrong with my account. By the way, you have the most terrible way in terms of resetting a password. Your support is designed to be unreachable. Going back to gmail now.

The app suddenly just stops refreshing your emails, this has happened several times now where I had to reinstall the app 3 different times. Can't see my emails or the events in my calendar. Only way I can see my emails is when I re install and I tired of doing, this my work email and this needs to be sorted out!

Cuts off the body of any email containing an image in portrait orientation (displays the whole email if in landscape, which is never how one would actually want to view email). This seems to be an issue that affects many users and has for years - pretty sure Microsoft has the resources to fix it, so not sure why they don't. Spam filter is random and doesn't learn from "mark not spam". While usually overly aggressive in filtering, lately it's been letting obvious spam through.

I get a considerable amount of work done before it glitches and I lose everything. Which means all that work down the drain. There should probably be an auto save feature for email drafts as people can accidentally delete and lose their work by accidentally touching the wrong part of the touch screen. Maybe some notice/verification tool to verify a user wishes to continue with an action which will cause their draft to be lost. I wish it would search all folders simultaneously.

I use this app as we have exchange... But this is such a terribly written app. I'm surprised it made it past quality control. Notifications don't always take you to the email (known bug apparently... Over 1 year) Emails don't load correctly. Errors all the time. Unread drafts can't be cleared without refreshing the account. Finally deleting it. I'll find another! Anything else but this.

Great app but at one point it stops updating the emails for no reason. The message I receive is that I have to wait for emails to be downloaded. To repair it I have to uninstall and install again. Maybe you can fix this issue. Thanks. Otherwise I would give 5 stars.

Unable to add an on-prem Exchange server. This was not an issue two months ago. Got new phone. Tried installing Outlook again and never get prompted to enter correct server information after entering email address. I don't need "help" with autodetecting my server settings. Just let me input them manually.

The convert to calendar option in draft is taking the holiday calendar and not the primary account calendar. Only to realize later that no one received the invite. There's no option available to change it to the primary account calendar. Other annoying issues are Reply all Drafts don't show all recipients or even if it does it, it doesnt enable the send button. Please fix all these issues at once.

This app is amazing. It worked really well with my android smartphone and it is synced seamlessly to my E-mail account. The best feature is that it will work with more than one email address which is amazeing as you don't have to have lots of email apps on your phone.

Overall, It is a good app for sure but there are some issues that just makes you pull your hairs. One of them, When you try to find an email, it finds the email but when you go inside the email, it doesn't load the email. And this happens especially with older emails. This is just frustrating. Microsoft, Please fix this. I don't want to move to another email client.

Used to work fine but won't stop crashing on me this morning. Hope this is fixed soon. Trying to reply to an email but the app keeps closing and saving as a draft, but when I open the draft there's nothing there anymore. The only thing I can do with this app now is read emails, and not reply to them. Must be fixed immediately.

Easy to use and manage emails. Visual layout is very important and the current layout is pleasing to the eyes of the user. The only con I have is that I wish I could choose to sort my inbox alphabetically and by date so that I can delete read or unwanted emails more quickly. Right now I have to delete emails one at a time by either clicking open an email or check it off in the list. But it takes time. I get repeated retail/sales emails that I want to delete all but the most current one.

Sent mail folder is not refreshed automatically when opening for the first time. Even the overall experience is deteriorated after updated to newer version of outlook. Even the syncing of mail becomes pathetic after update. It was fast and smooth 2-3 months ago and now even after opening of any mail, I need to wait for 3-5 mins to load it (sometimes not even loaded!!!)... Microsoft pls do something fast as this spoils your image...

I upgraded to this version. The upgrade changed my email signature. It added the text "Get outlook for android". This behaviour is bad. We use Outlook in my company and we can not accept that Microsoft randomly add text to our emali signatures or emails. Still not possible to attach images, they are inline in the email. Otherwise the app is nice to use for my use which is reading emails, sending some emails and get an overview of my calendar.

Cannot open attachments on corporate account. IT administrator says it's a bug with this app and nothing to do with their security restrictions. Also, cannot attach images as attachments (only imbed). Wouldn't use it if I didn't have to because it's not good. iOS version works a bit better. At least I can open attachments on that one. Will likely just use the app for notifications and otherwise will just use the mobile browser page as that works much better.

Horrendous app experience. There will be a lot of frustration and steep learning curve to follow for many. Recently replied twice to a message. Were not sure if the second reply was sent so went to look at the sent folder and can't find any. Went back to inbox to find the original message has disappeared. Apparently tapping three little dots at the bottom will make it reappear. However only the first reply is shown. To see the second reply add the recipient to contact list. Presto.. Now you see

The apps actually generally fairly decent. Unfortunately the search function is so bad it takes this ap down to 1 star. When a specific person is searched it will leave some emails out, they wont be in chronological order and attachments just disappear from the emails. Its brutal and makes no sense.

The recent update has broken the app. It no longer syncs with my work office365 account. i have to constantly delete the account and re-add it. it will pull all current information, but will not update after the initial download. Re-adding the account takes several attempts as it gives "An error occured" message. i guess im going to have to look for an alternative. I posted this on 4/19/19. Still the same issue!

I have an O365 account & an Exchange mail account. The O365 account seems to have a manual sign-in issue. It pulls the mail initially, but after a period of time, it wants the user to sign back in. When clicking on the sign-in there's no progress. Issue seems to be only present on O365.4

1. You can not send an email and attach a photo, you can only embed a photo in the message body. And Microsoft explains this as "to better experience your photos! :)" Huh? Every other email client let's you do this. 2. You can not get rid of the stupid colored circle initial icons next to every email. A total worthless feature that takes up screen real estate. Why Microsoft thinks these two features are amazing is beyond me.

In the last few days the app doesn't function very well. If I swipe to delete messages in my spam folder it says that messages are deleted at the bottom of the screen, but the next second they pop up in my inbox instead of being deleted... Also, before I could directly click to move selected messages to inbox, but that option isn't available and I now have to click 'move to folder' and then click 'inbox'. Hopefully this can be fixed.

Good app for the most part but I have a really big issue with it. For some reason, when I send emails that were sent to multiple recipients but I want to just send a reply back to the sender, this app automatically changes my selection from just the sender to reply all. No, this is a big no no. I now dont trust this app to send emails from because well, its just going to switch my preferences and send my message to the wrong person. That's a big no from me.

It requires that I allow it to monitor aspects of my device, like length and characters allowed in screen unlock passwords, wants to monitor when I unlock my screen and how many attempts I use, wants to control when and how my screen locks, and other things. If I dont allow this it wont let me log in to my mail. No thanks. I'll keep that kind of data to myself.

Usually a decent enough app but after the last update it is terrible. Changes font sizes as you type and I've lost entire composed emails even after saving to draft. Saves blanks. Also issues going between composing email screen to inbox - lose composed email again!! So frustrating. The font changing sizes and lack of auto correct/suggested corrections is terrible. And you still have to put up with ads in your own inbox. I just hope they correct these issues soon.

Update: Several months & at least 3 updates later. Still useless. Does not sync. Can't read new emails or search old ones. Better off logging into email on mobile browser. Old review: Since latest Outlook update, can only see a few messages that are old. I get notifications for new emails, but the new emails don't show up in the app. If I click the new notification itself, I get an error that says "Couldn't open message." So basically the app does nothing. Using updated Samsung Galaxy S9.

Great app, let down by the inabilit to allow users to filter out/turn off addresses being stored/used for autosuggest, coming from correspondence TO me (not from). This can be turned off on the desktop client. Should really be given the option to strictly sync to a contacts list (I keep mine squeaky clean) or to delete from suggestions (for non-MS email services too - e.g., Gmail mail app does this). Also, drafts can't always be deleted... Minor irritation, but still needs attention.

This is the 2nd time my email account stopped synchronizing. I have no choice but to delete the email account. When trying to add the same email account, error occured. By the, way, it's an outlook email account. Basically, it's buggy and you won't even realize that it has stopped working.

No longer can add recipient to message in latest release - it errors. Please test you release with latest versions of android including samsung. Had to uninstall and reinstall to get it to work. Still does not work since now it will not download emails. Please write tests for your software.

Over all a good app, but recently when I swipe to delete my junk mail it is transferred into my inbox, so I have to delete it a second time from my inbox. This has become a little frustrating. I have found using the trash icon while I am on the selected message will send the message directly to the trash, but the ease of swiping is more convenient for messages I don't wish to read.

Selecting an email does not show you that email. It shows the latest in that email chain. Summary information shown for an email gives names of people who were not on the distribution list. This app appears to be replacing information about a single email with something relevant for the whole email thread and as a result it's giving out wrong information.

Uploading a Picture from Mobile. Why is it that the Outlook Apps uploads the pictures from device sideways and there is no way to turn the picture so it looks normal? This has never been a problem and now it has been happening for a while???

Not very dependable. I'm finding it regularly gives up and needs to be force stopped, the calendar widget breaks a couple of times a week and I'm often stuck with a white or black screen when trying to open emails and appointments I've been notified about. I'm also finding Support's response to reporting spam that's coming through unfiltered completely inadequate. Not a good advert for Office 365, especially as they've replaced HUP with costly subscriptions with insignificant, token discounts.

Drafts gets stuck in inbox, occasionally an email will stay unread indefinitely, there is a several minute lag between a notification being able to read an email, and the worst is when scrolling through long threads, w keeps jumping back to the top of the thread making it impossible to read the thread. Typical Microsoft product. If I didn't have to use it for work I wouldn't.

I have had lot of trouble locating my email thread. There are issues with trailing mail in the app. when i click a mail from the inbox and scroll down to find my trailing mail i end up scrolling more and then i am taken to another mail next to this mail..like this i can keep scrolling all the mails..there should be a stop, for one email thread..i shouldnt be allowed to scroll beyond that..Everyone expects Microsoft to come out with a better app. More functional... Dissapointed !!

Latest update has broken the app on LG G4. Stays opens for about five seconds before crashing. Edit: the latest update seems to have fixed this. Upgraded from 1 star to 3. Let's see how long it remains stable... Edit: this problem has returned! App won't stay open long enough to read email. Not impressed.

Constantly changing. As soon as I get a method nailed down, the whole format changes, and I have to relearn it. Currently, I try to forward emails, and I can edit recipients OR make a message body, but not both. Becoming more of a hindrance than a nuisance. I need a computer to make correspondence as of now, so this is junk.

Not bad, but need ability to sort Conversations from Newest to Oldest in addition to what appears to be default (Oldest to Newest). When I am looking at emails, every time I open a Conversations I have to scroll to the bottom. I have seen others posting about this for years as well. Is anyone at Microsoft listening ?

MS Outlook mobile does the job of getting email on your mobile device. However, it is still missing key features found in other Exchange capable 3rd party apps. Setting out of office on mobile app is difficult if not impossible. The key missing feature that is important to me is the ability to be notified of new messages coming in where I have an outlook rule to move to a sub folder. I only get notifications for emails coming to the inbox. If I want to see emails in those other folders I have to navigate to the folder. I organize my email into folders, particularly important ones. This feature is available in a number of other 3rd party Exchange compatible mobile email apps, but not in the MS Outlook App. I work in support and this feature is critical to me. Unfortunately, due to policy I am unable to use a 3rd party app and I am left with using MS Outlook mobile. Add to that, Microsoft has disabled the ability to setup rules to forward emails to text in the latest version of Outlook Web. I was using that as a work around to the lack of sub folder notification, but now that doesn't work.

Garbage for the most part. Sometimes it works, sometimes it doesn't. You get message notifications that you can only see the headers on for another five minutes before it actually downloads the mail. They took the task side of it which was completely ridiculous. Just another garbage Microsoft app.

I don't have any problems. In fact probably prefer the app to my computer now. Only thing missing is when you delete or move something it doesn't carry over to my computer. Whereas the computer action carries over to the app.

Since last 1 month it is not good as whenever I am trying to use this, immediately thr page closes. I am not able to send the mail and even check the mails because just after clicking the app, the page opens and within a 1/4 th of second the page automatic closes. I have updated the app then uninstalled and again installed but the same problem exists.

When I search for email from a specific sender to delete those emails, I am unable to select with a checkbox to highlight multiple emails to delete. Can we add that feature to the search results as well? Steps: Search bar "monoprice" Holding down finger on one email to highlight Does not provide select/checkbox option I only have the option to open specific email. ***Also does not have slide to left feature to delete or archive email in search results.

My attempts to leave feedback within the app's own system resulted in being subscribed to some mailing list I didn't want. Saying that I shouldn't have to be subscribed lead to more frustrations - including a feedback form (a website) that asks for my password! If I cannot leave feedback in a pleasant manner within the app, my only choice is to leave it here.

I've installed Outlook app on two Android devices. Both have the same email account setup. If I read the latest emails on one device and sync and then later go online on the other device I get notifications of emails that have been already dealt with. Uninstall reinstall doesn't help nor does resetting sync. Outlook support is poor and don't reproduce or attemp to resolve issues. Will now look for alternatives.

Good and useful. The autocorrect doesn't remember anything. Even after typing 100 times, everyday used names will be autocorrected to its own (wrong ) words. And if I use backspace, the typed word is no longer available, even as a suggestion. Have to type it all over again. Otherwise I would have given 5*s.

Update messed up my Focused section... everything else works good but as soon as I go into spam and delete the messages, they suddenly appear in focused... this didn't happen until last update.. one other thing is it used to update quicker... I could delete messages on my computer and then 5 minutes later go to my mailbox and they would be gone... now phone still shows until like 10 min... again was happening until latest update... everything else works great

I have folders set up on my outlook desktop. If any email is sent to the folder, I cant see it in my mobile notifications unless I open the folder specifically. Never had this issue with blackberry hub. Also the calendar isn't the best of UIs I have seen. Why not make a separate app for the calendar with all the functionality of widgets, better agenda view, ect.

Does not work -- Doesn't seem to use custom hosts file. I gave a local IP addr a custom hostname/domain. The stock email app works, but not Outlook.. Your help does is not help at all. I tried : notation, space and others to specify the port numbers. I use the default IMAP and SMTP port numbers of 143 and 25. I went crazy and checked if my hosts file is working by using my http server, it works. I went extra by port scanning my computer. IMAP, SMTP, and POP are available. Too bad.

I have had Outlook 2016 since it was first rolled out. I have never had any problems with it. I don't how it compares to other e-mail services but I have zero complaints and find great features on Outlook -- saving drafts of e-mails as they are being composed; great sorting of mail into designated folders; the ability to cut and paste; group designations for e-mails to name a few.

Outlook says I have draft emails when none exist. This issue has been reported any months ago to support, but the issue is still here. You can create folders, but you can't delete them! What level of stupidity designed that! Overall one would expect more from a big company like Microsoft. Overall Outlook feels like it was designed by a 14 year child in his/her bedroom. It works but it's buggy, and they don't/can't fix reported issues. I stll use it but I'm looking around for something better.

No significant complaints. Manages four email accounts from 3 different domains without issue. Calendar is sufficient as well. Dark mode is available for both, which is appreciated. The search function used to be pretty useless, but was fixed at some point and works well now. I'm not sure how customizable the application is for power users, but I'd easily recommend this for anyone looking for an email application that just works.

I use it at work and for school, very easy to manage emails. Flagging and marking emails using different colors is a great feature. I find the format to be somewhat easier to use than Gmail. I would highly reccomend outlook to those who want the most out of managing emails; especially those who have a high volume of them. I've extensively used the reminder feature to remind me of special calender events or to review an email again. Overall I can't say anything bad!

The inability to have use of a fully functional 'move to' option with this latest version means that useful emails which either come to spam or my inbox now have to sit there until I get back to my computer or I use the still working earlier outlook version on my old phone to move these emails to the folder I want them in. This is a very backward step from what was previously a 5 star smart phone app. (version 4.2.74.1.).. But WHY did they do this ??

I use this for work. I tried to send an important reply email to my boss and a few other people through this app. I used this on my phone rather than my work computer because I had photos on my phone that needed to be attached. For whatever reason it didnt send and just states "draft" attached to the original email in my inbox. But when I go to my email drafts, its not there and if I click on the email in my inbox, I can't edit anything. Its also not in my outbox or sent folders.

I could only recommend this app if it was literally the only way to access your emails. Otherwise... RUN AWAY!!! Basically it's now so slow, even after reinstalls etc, that's it's reached the point of being "pointless". This is where this app and I part ways. Toodaloo! :-) Fyi anyway: It also doesn't like sending photo attachments if there is any text in the email. My app rating give it a: "Ugh!".

Every time I install an Outlook app update, I lose one of my multiple email accounts and I have to re-add it to the Outlook app. This has been happening for months, but never use to be a problem. I also have co-workers with the identical issue on different Android devices.

Terrible, terrible, TERRIBLE SYNC functionality with MIUI. Frequently signs me out without reason, frequently refuses to refresh, invariably stops syncing contacts and now even Microsoft's own To do app refuses to sync with it. YES I'VE TRIED ALL THE USELESS SUGGESTIONS FROM MS. Again and again I try to (re-enable) sync from system settings which does NOT work since it says ALREADY SIGNED IN. I've allowed every permission to this app and even disabled battery saver. To no avail. 0 stars.

Ever since the original, simple to use and reliable Hotmail was replaced by Outlook, it has been total rubbish. Complicated to use, hard to find basic actions like reply and forward and a step backwards rather than forwards. Now for the past week, I cannot delete junk mail, despite it being set to delete by left or right swipe ...it just puts them into my inbox. Bloody useless and totally incompetent. If this obvious glitch doesn't rectify, I will dump this pathetic service and use another.

Love this platform for organizing the details. Disgruntled that OUTLOOK Team has been unable to eliminate the daily barrage of ADULT Spam. The REPORT PHISHING and/or BLOCK options do not afford consumer protection, especially since the perpetrators have figured out how to keep their source parameters in chameleon mode ad infinitum. So, email management requires endless inordinate amount of attention. I renewed but changed the type of my subscription, but now have been battered by notices.

Such a clean experience. No stupid ads in my inbox like Google's Gmail app! The integrated calendar is great too...I've substituted Google's Gmail and calendar apps with Outlook! One issue: searching doesn't work properly. When I search and click on the search result email, I get a blank screen every time. For me, that's worth knocking down a star.

Since the last update, when I erase something from the spam box, it goes directly to my inbox. I'm using swipe left to delete from spam, but even opening the email and clicking on the trash icon will do the same thing. Prior to that my experience with the app was great, and I've always encouraged my friends who have exchange accounts to use outlook instead of the native mail app.

This app is actually so user unfriendly it's funny. I can't begin to figure out where anything is. You go on inbox and its in "focus mode" whatever the hell that is and says I have had one email today and then just shows last months emails right after. Then you click "other" mode, again what the hell is other mode, shows a complete random assortment of spam and stuff. I don't get why it's so over complicated? Gmail absolutely nails it. I just don't get this AT ALL.

It's good but the ability to delete unwanted folders and permanently remove them from the app would be great. I deleted "them" with their contents and so their contents is gone but actual folder is still present. I can still see the "deleted" folders under the bin folder. I would like these gone. Thank you

Since last update in early Nov. I still get notifications of new emails, but I can't view or open them unless I restart my phone (Samsung). No problems at all with other apps and this has been happening since this recent uodate. This is VERY frustrating as I get dozens of business emails a day and can't view any of them. I'm thinking of switching to Gmail since there's never any issues with that.

Great App but could be better. Having used this app for years the one set back for me is the inability to move read emails to a specific location ie I tend to archive all the emails I need to keep in one location. If you have more than one email address this isn't possible unless you use the desktop computer program. Otherwise it's a one stop shop for organising meeting to email etc.

Same issue that several other recent reviewers have - the past week or so, Outlook logs me out of the app, therefore I can't receive emails. Have uninstalled and reinstalled about 10 times now, just to access new emails. Company uses this for work, so I'm stuck with it. MS, please address this issue ASAP!

Great app. Love the dark mode and ability to schedule emails to reappear later. One challenge on my Note 9: scrolling down html emails in portrait mode, the emails can't scroll all the way down. Stops scrolling about 1/2 to 3/4 of the way down.

I can't get to my latest corporate email. I've reset my account, and it updates for a week, then stops. I get notifications for new email, but I can't open the email. Edit on 11/18/19: This app is straight garbage! The only thing it does right is give notifications, but I can't get any email even after I've done an account reset. Just use the web and don't waste your time. 😠

Sucks. Problem after problem. Microsoft Support staff genuinely tried to help but our communications kept getting lost so we couldn't stay in touch. Deleted and Permanently Deleted emails keep reappearing. Instead of New Emails going to Inbox they get sent to Archive or Sent or Trash or Spam. Good Support staff but poor app engineering. Very poor.

My last comment was about battery drainage and I was not happy!!!! That has been solved by upgrading my phone. Outlook is now working fine and I've gotten use to the oddities that every app has. I'm really enjoying Outlook now. Wish they had a more robust ToDo app. Still using Deja Office due to the great features. The only reason I'm moving away from Deja is to reduce the number of apps I have, otherwise, I'd still be using that app. Maybe Microsoft will catch up.

The one thing I see missing from the android app that would be amazing is the ability to set a delay send for messages. The desktop version does it, and that's been a huge help to me in my work. I would also like the ability not to have an "other" folder at all, its served me no good at all and I have clients messages go there and that's downright hazardous.

worse app on the net that's a freaking achievement! man it just cannot do even simple task like login or like checking company emails...worked for a while so so, then stupid update and here it go again, nothing works as should;.Even is telling me there is no internet connection like I have a 2, stupid app. Any alternatives???

i like most things...thanks for just inbox without the 2 divisions... i wish the right side box was only available for inbox not the "looks like you're using an ad blocker" i dont want ads or this reminder. The move to files are hard to organize...they go out of line, under others, cant delete easily, and are hard to add a new one unless it is linked with an email. that is enough for now.

When attaching photos, it doesn't attach as a file but rather inline of the email. This us such a stupid useless function, I don't see any benefit in this what so ever, it doesn't even assist in the receivers end. fix this please. Only reason I'm using this app is because work emails are outlook, and other apps don't work well with office outlook. Windows need to take a page from IPhone book and sort out their mail app out.

Mate. Can't download photos in emails without a 9 step process involving something called talkback, occasionally "misplaces" entire email threads, and more! You really need to listen to the community. I often wonder what devs do, is it too hard to give native picture download capability? There are some good features, like native image downsizing and the fact that it seems to trick my exchange security requirements to allow for more lenient phone lock measures. But seriously.

Works great.... then Microsoft breaks something that requires my company to perform multiple levels of escalation over a few weeks. Works again.... and stops a few months later. If it were not for the occasional issues breaking the app for weeks or months at a time, I would give 5 stars.

I like the app but dont understand why I cant put my company logo in my signature like on my laptop. I am on the go a lot and it looks so unprofessional and inconsistent when its noticed that from one platform or the other it's not the same. Would give this 5 stars if I could include my business logo and object links as well. This is Microsoft it should be possible right?

Can't use Outlook app for work email, does not allow for business email signature, this has been highlighted in so many forums yet no change. Samsung built-in email program better suited for work/business email. Outlook app should be a mirror image of Outlook on Office 365 on laptop. Unfortunately this app is of no use to me until a proper email signature can be used.

This app stopped working about a month and a half ago, not sure if they did an update. I have installed and reinstalled several times and been back and forth with Microsoft help. I get notifications but emails won't load. I have to access through a browser. Pretty disappointing. MS fail!

doesnt load all messages. With all the updates photos load horizontal instead of vertical. says i have a new message but nothing will be there. keeps defaulting to "all" accounts instead of staying my selected one. doesnt send an email if I close the app so I have to wait for it to say "sent" before I leave the app. when you swipe to view the next email, it keeps going back to "account" home. Will say i have a msg and the time on the message itself will be earlier than when I get it. WRONG PHOTO

Great email app with a few minor annoyances. I love the new dark mode but please change the bright white "managed by your organization" login screen to black as well. Also, when calendar reminders pop up I generally have to swipe them out of my notification area 3 or more times to close them which is not ideal.

Impossible to set it up (sync with computer Outlook. The App has different field and different way to set it to sync. After half a day contacting both Microsoft and my ISP Supports, none had helped me setting up this rubbish. I kept being told to contact one or the other, going in circle, wasting half a day. If you have Microsoft Outlook, you know how many windows there are with how many buttons and tabs that take you to other windows with more buttons and tabs. This has App has none of that.

Fails to send emails if an email is incorrect or their email has been deactivated. Keeps sending it to drafts instead. It should send the email instead and just deal with the replies from the mail server stating that the address does not exist. Come on this is basic functionality.... I regularly send emails to large groups of people and like anything people leave companies without notifying you and it can be almost impossible to determine which email is failing....

In addition to the mess with the draft email that don't exist and cannot be deleted no matter what you do, to the weird and non-user friendly setup for an IMAP non-outlook email account, to the mess of the contact syncing that thid app insist on. I turned off the contract sync, but still remove existing contacts. The one that removes the most is my spouse's. Frustration does not even describe it. This cannot be attached to a named like Microsoft. This is a joke.

I don't get notifications from key users in my company (my boss & my CEO). Other notifications work perfectly. I've been working with support for months and tier 2 suggests update the app (they release updates all the time, no change), reset account, uninstall/reinstall (I've done this multiple times, even factory reset my device), and "check notification settings. I've done all this before with T1 support. Sad that a mail app can't handle basic mail functions. Other apps work fine. We use O365.

precise location (GPS and network-based)
Allows the app to get your precise location using the Global Positioning System (GPS) or network location sources such as cell towers and Wi-Fi. These location services must be turned on and available to your device for the app to use them. Apps may use this to determine where you are, and may consume additional battery power.

view network connections
Allows the app to view information about network connections such as which networks exist and are connected.

create accounts and set passwords
Allows the app to use the account authenticator capabilities of the AccountManager, including creating accounts and getting and setting their passwords.

take pictures and videos
Allows the app to take pictures and videos with the camera. This permission allows the app to use the camera at any time without your confirmation.

find accounts on the device
Allows the app to get the list of accounts known by the phone. This may include any accounts created by applications you have installed.

full network access
Allows the app to create network sockets and use custom network protocols. The browser and other applications provide means to send data to the internet, so this permission is not required to send data to the internet.

read calendar events plus confidential information
Allows the app to read all calendar events stored on your phone, including those of friends or co-workers. This may allow the app to share or save your calendar data, regardless of confidentiality or sensitivity.

read your contacts
Allows the app to read data about your contacts stored on your phone, including the frequency with which you've called, emailed, or communicated in other ways with specific individuals. This permission allows apps to save your contact data, and malicious apps may share contact data without your knowledge.

read the contents of your SD card
Allows the app to read the contents of your SD card.

read your own contact card
Allows the app to read personal profile information stored on your device, such as your name and contact information. This means the app can identify you and may send your profile information to others.

read sync settings
Allows the app to read the sync settings for an account. For example, this can determine whether the People app is synced with an account.

read sync statistics
Allows an app to read the sync stats for an account, including the history of sync events and how much data is synced.

run at startup
Allows the app to have itself started as soon as the system has finished booting. This can make it take longer to start the phone and allow the app to slow down the overall phone by always running.

reorder running apps
Allows the app to move tasks to the foreground and background. The app may do this without your input.

use accounts on the device
Allows the app to request authentication tokens.

control vibration
Allows the app to control the vibrator.

prevent phone from sleeping
Allows the app to prevent the phone from going to sleep.

add or modify calendar events and send email to guests without owners' knowledge
Allows the app to add, remove, change events that you can modify on your phone, including those of friends or co-workers. This may allow the app to send messages that appear to come from calendar owners, or modify events without the owners' knowledge.

modify your contacts
Allows the app to modify the data about your contacts stored on your phone, including the frequency with which you've called, emailed, or communicated in other ways with specific contacts. This permission allows apps to delete contact data.

modify or delete the contents of your SD card
Allows the app to write to the SD card.

toggle sync on and off
Allows an app to modify the sync settings for an account. For example, this can be used to enable sync of the People app with an account.

receive data from Internet
Allows apps to accept cloud to device messages sent by the app's service. Using this service will incur data usage. Malicious apps could cause excess data usage.
