Can no longer directly print from my Chromebook. It keeps telling me that I need to sign into my account, then all I get is a "Thanks for your patience" message. This is so inconvienient being a student and needing to print things out for class.

Still doesn't work after update This app does not successfully find my printer. I realized you can cancel out of the seemingly obligatory qr code setup prompt when you turn on the printer, you just have to hit the back button. Save yourself the time of trying to use this app and just set up on the printer. The app will ask very invasive permissions as well 🤢

The worst app I ever met. The same with the product. There is always some kind of a mistake. The features are disappearing. The last one was the scanning option of the printer. Until last days it was possible to scan documents now the feature is not available for my printer. Honestly what kind of incompetent Designer makes all of this user unfriendly devices and apps?

This app just gets worse and worse with every update, can not just print WiFi direct any more with my printer. It first needs to be connected to the internet to sign in to the HP account that isn't even working. Say I have to wait a few hours!!! To see if it works. What is going on with hp. Update; to think this app could get worse, now it says my printer does not support scan to the phone after I upgraded my phone. Plus it is now showing ads.

It worked kinda flawlessly. But suddenly someone thought it would be a great idea to be obliged to have an HP account in order to print through the app. Okay, that is not cool, but whatever. However, when I log in to my account, it just keeps loading and saying "thank you for your patience. My patience isnt 30 minutes for gods sake. And Ive had it spinning for those 30 mins, however without any succes. So this app is useless.

Impossible to work fluidly as requires constant account sign in which rarely works. Scanning is a nightmare as it only works when signed in and only to go online account (an option straight to computer/device is needed). I cross my fingers each time I send something to print and hope it comes out. Have uninstalled and reinstalled many times to reactivate the printer.

Definitely one of the worst apps I used - no option to scan without an account login??? I'm sitting 3 feet from my legally purchased printer and I cannot scan to my phone??? So I created and account. I logged in, and now it doesn't even recognize that there is a document in the feeder - the printer ode tifies it but the app... Oh the app...

Why are printer companies trying to perfect their data mining tactics by forcing users to sign into an online service to use their own printers when we all know printers have NEVER worked efficiently? Maybe HP should focus on printers and not mediacore apps like this. Using this app on Mac OS, Android and iOS—all total lowest denominator UI/UX—as this app is required for the screen-less HP Envy6400e. I very much regret getting this printer for my mother. I give up on printing.

Difficult set upsevery time I use. I tried for 2 days trying to print then realised I need to pair with device, it didn't tell me at all, quite dreadful. What's the point of buying this machine and its not recognized. I used twice successfully, tried again now and an hour going through all press buttons for 3 seconds and then, and then. Useless
