Use the app to tell Uber where you want to be picked up: you can use the map and your phone’s GPS to tell Uber your current location so they can pick you up.

If you’re using their mobile website, you can type in the address or you can text the address to UBR-CAB (827-222) if you’re using Uber in Canada or the US.

Then wait for Uber to respond: you will get a text notifying you of how long you’ll need to wait before you can expect to be picked up. When your Uber ride arrives, you’ll receive another text to let you know.

Your payment will be automatically charged. You don’t need to manually hand over some cash or your card to the driver before you leave. That’s the Uber way.

    When Uber first came out it was amazing. I could request a ride anytime even at 3 in the morning. Now due to the covid-19 pandemic. Lots of people are becoming lazy. Not many drivers available. And that is very frustrating. I think the app Has a Glitch. Every time I login says no cars available. I exit out the map 3 times and go back and then there's cars available. I have to request it as soon as it says cars available or it will say no car available again.

    Be careful. This is one of the most deceptive, evil entities in history. You cannot be "in the club" unless you provide a phone number and a bank routing number AND your account number, or a debit card. Works good.. But, expect to be occasionally overcharged, denied promotional discounts for which you were marketed and other such nonsense. You have no recourse. It is almost impossible to even get an internal, on app message box to explain the situation. No record. PURE EVIL

    I booked an auto and paid the charges before start of the trip through paytm. Once the trip got over, driver showed me that app is indicating cash payment. There is no option in the app to contact customer care nor there is any provision to take the matter for resolution. Therefore I had to pay twice for one trip. And now i dont have any other way than to write here to look for a solution



    Sometimes the experience is worst. You should have make a open ended query box in your setting, where customer directly write what they really want to say instead of your inbuilt statement which is useless. Eg. 2 3 times I made a payment to drivers account via Google pay. Still it ka showing pending on my account. Due to this i am unable to travel. When I go to raise a query nowhere it is mentioned about my query.

    Overall, my experience has been satisfactory. Major setback is the customer care support. So not approachable. Sometimes, it's not the money that we want refunded rather it's the problem which should given much more importance that it is not repeated or solid solution is given to prevent physical and mental exhaustion. Most rides has been smooth, the driver professional and polite, and the car in a decent condition. ✌🏼

    Nice app and its never disappointed me while booking cab related to availability as well as various coupons 😁. All the cab drivers I have met were with polite attitude and friendly nature till yet. But there are few glitches while showing cab location. Sometimes Cab's image far behind from actual black line. Please try to fix it. Otherwise no problem and

    Nowadays the drivers when called up ask for the location of travel and decide to take the ride or not. ( not all). It's unfair to have such practice. When you need to go the the station or airport on a hurry then we need to cancel the booking/ or they do and puts us into immense mental stress and strain to book another vehicle. These are unfair trade practices

    Prices used to be reasonable, got picked up in a timely fashion, but now more often than not i am better off calling for a local taxi company.Getting charged exuberant prices and left waiting for 20 minutes or longer and have to be charged a fee if i dont want to or can't wait the wait time. Really sad to see.

    I would give a 0 star rating if I could. The customer service team are very rude and keep hanging up. When I try to raise a complaint. One even tried to tell me I'm rude because I asked him to stop interrupting me and listen to my issue before responding. They can't fix any issues just scream it isn't our fault do your research. When you write on twitter they ask for a DM and ignore it. Seriously a shocking experience.

    I am disappointed that Uber waits until the end of the pickup period to let you know that there are no rides available. That caused me to almost miss my flight and incur additional expenses for parking my car at the airport. Reliability of transportation is essential in today's world, and Uber apparently doesn't think this is a priority. It's okay if rides are not available, but Uber should strive to notify the user ASAP to make other travel arrangements. I'll be trying other ridesgare services.
