No rotation, no option for full screen, have to turn off my mobile data to connect, not capable of streaming with, this app is poorly designed. If you want to stand toe to toe with GOPRO you should step up the functionality for users are n the age of live streaming capabilities. This app could be a big reason of returns even if the camera is 100% functional.

I couldn't get past the first step of starting the camera, once I connected to the cameras Wifi it said that the wifi was weak ,but I still kept on trying to make it work but every time I pressed connect to camera I would load then take me out of the app .While I'm disappointed I'm not surprised with the quality due to seeing all the review about it.But when you think about it , it was pretty cheap for a camera. I did get this to make youtube videos but I guess I won't. 😕

Its great . And a hint to most , just visit your settings and check mobile data only apps ..and check the vivitar app and any other app you want recieving data bc the cam doesnt offer its own data

Would be awesome if your app allowed you to pull videos off the camera directly to your phone without crashing constantly. It worked earlier today, now it crashes the app every time I try to access the pics/video from the app. Rebooted phone, camera, uninstalled/reinstalled app, cleared cache, etc. Still no luck.

Never worked for a year until just month I could connect to wifi lol pretty simple. And no you done need it connected to a power supply, just charge the camera real well. I have yet to go out and shoot but I will

The camera and app are limited but I expected that for the price. Make sure you have camera plugged in to connect because it uses a ton of battery. Also, Very IMPORTANT, make sure you have the correct app!!! I didn't get the right one first. So many impatient people putting bad reviews because they don't take the time to check if they made a mistake.

just bought the camera because of this feature and guess what? the app doesn't even work!!!! it freezes automatically as soon as you go to "connect the camera" it's connected via WiFi teather to my phone!! why am I having to go through this needless step anyway??? it just freezes. either fix it or put up a web page to do it from because like the rest of your products your app development sucks too apparently. fix it or I'm returning the product and never buying another Vivitar brand anything!!!
