It's been a year and a half and still no response from TPW. Called them, posted on their Instagram page, and these comments. Crickets... The map still doesn't work even though newest notes say map problem fixed. It is not fixed. All you get is a blank screen with red pins. No idea the location of each pin/park. Makes the app worthless.

Reservations are straight forward. The map of all of the parks is just unusable. There is no state boundary. If you enlarge the map there are park names unless you pick a pin. My suggestion would be to show park names when you enlarge the state map.

Good attempt, very easy to use, and contains a lot a information about the parks. It needs polishing though, I simply cannot get the maps to work, nor download the trails maps - it says I need an internet connection for the latter!! Now, when I select the MAP button it comes up with just a grid, and the pins indicating where the parks are...but no map. I am using Android 11, and the App appears to be using ESRI...why not use Google maps? I have seen on an off problems with ESRI in the past.

The only thing I don't like about this app is that when you use the map where the parks are pinned, it no longer shows the data of the state. So you can see where they are to where you are. It use to be a proper map but after an undate it changed and is not so nice and easy to use. Would love to see that fixed! Still waiting to see the map FIXED!

Basically an app for a list of all parks and natural areas in the state. Not useful at all. It's easier to go online, at least there you are actually able to search and have a working map.

  6. Scott Fenn-avatar

    Scott Fenn

This app appears to be for information only, which is very nice, but I don't how one can make a reservation on it. It'd be great to make reservations on this app like you can on the National Park's app...

On my new phone, it only shows 59 state parks. I agree about the map only showing pins. Not as good as it used to be.

  8. Mark Rossi-avatar

Very confusing to find and reserve your choice of campsites. Map shows names for camping loops (only) and availability list shows only a letter designation for the loop. Makes no sense.

Great for finding info about specific parks, but as others mentioned, they could be organized in multiple ways, including search. Biggest problem is that the Mapbox image layer doesn't load under the pin map; it does the same on my wife's Android. It actually did load the map on my previous phone, older by 2.5 years, but why?

App last updated two years ago... Maps on Android phones still broken... Doesn't look like this is being supported for Android anymore...
