Allows you to with a simple click know what time it is without the need of taking your phone out of your pocket. You can also set an interval for automatic announcement of what the current time is. Usage: * click your power button 2-3 times while the background service is running and it will say in a text to speech voice what the current time is. * Used for example when you have earphones and telephone in your pocket, so you don't have to take it out to know what the time is. Info: * You might need to go into "voice input & output" -> "text to speech settings" to install TTS default data. * Request a feature and i'll probebly add it, i read all comments and mails, even if i do not answer. This app worked great on my Android phone. But I had to get a new phone. I bought the Samsung Galaxy 10. I installed the app on it. Everything seemed fine after installing it on the galaxy 10, but the alarms never go off. It had worked on my Android phone. The Samsung has the Android OS, so I thought it would work. I am legally blind. I really depend on it to get me to my 3am dialysis appointments. I unfortunately haven't found anything that compares. Can't you fix this?

This is the perfect talking clock.... except that a recent version / update of android seems to have this speaking the colon now. So, for noon, the voice no longer says "twelve o'clock P M," but now says "twelve colon zero zero P M." Another user with the same program but different phone (I have a pixel 3; they have an S7 Galaxy) reported the same issue within a day of each other

wonderful app. I recommend it. The ONLY issue that I have come accross is that it "speaks" the time even if the volume is turned off (set to vibrate.) Not so nice if your in a movie theatre or at a church service. wish I knew of a way to address that. other than that its a great app. I recommend it.

it doesn't work on the new update of my Galaxy S9 Plus. I love this app but it needs a newer update so it can work with these updated devices today.

Excellent app. Will help me stay on schedule when watching YouTube on my phone in the mornings before going to work. Update : Started off very well, now sometimes it won't sound unless I unlock my phone. Today it has started announcing the time every time I unlock my phone even after disabling auto mode. Looks like the smart phone is not really as smart as it pretends to be... I've lost count of how many talking clock apps I've tried. I give up.

The best talking clock I ever came across and always did the job perfectly. However, after the latest Pie update including One UI, I can't get a thing out of it. Are you updating this, or do I have to find a lesser app? I take that back. Tried it again and it's working fine again.

In the description it says you can set an interval to announce the time, I could not find this in settings. It also says the app sets the volume back to what it was before it announces the time but there is no place in settings to change the volume level for the announced time.
