Set-up was a pain due to technical error their end and the camera struggles to scan the QR code on your phone's screen. The app is also only any good for live view with the camera's, to go back and view recordings you need to log into the web version, not even the mobile version that most people nowadays. **Edit** Today been told I need to run Firefox on a laptop or desktop as the app or mobile browser do nothing other than live view, and that's if it works.

Had this a few years now and it has only got worse. There are not even any alerts to your phone when something has started the camera. Its basically only good if you want to record something 24/7 then look back at it. There are so many much better cameras out there now with no contract. I am actually buying one at the weekend.

When it works its great, but more often than not, the app is so no responsive. It takes numerous attempts to switch on the recording. You've got to refresh the page, close the app, reopen the app. This is my only a quite significant issue with the software. We have excellent internet connection and speed, which rules out the Wi-fi, therefore the app needs some attention from Smartfrog to correct this issue.

My nephew got them to keep an eye on my mother who has cancer as she,s on her own most of the time , great but have to keep unstalling it and install alot because it doesn't record it show them but screen is black , that the only problem with it

The app can be slow to respond. Occasionally the live view is just black with sound. Once a week reset (turn off and on again) of the cameras seems to help them respond better. But its considerably better than the sricam cameras and software I was previously using. The intercom function is hilarious to use at times... Told my son to turn the sound up on his phone and answer it via the app whilst I was at work and the look on his face was an absolute picture!! 😂

Picture & sound quality are really good, improved from the 1st Smartfrog camera that I used. Only quibble is sometimes there is a real lag with going into live view, hence r stars. My old camera used to regularly log me out of the app, which was really annoying and frustrating. time will tell of this happens with my new camera. the app could be a little more intuitive and user friendly. I can't see where I can change my details e.g. email address and password easily.

Sometimes the picture in the browser freezes, although the light is blinking as it is going live and then I hear the baby has woken up, but the screen doesn't change. Also, cannot access the app, since it says: connection rejected, try again or update. I have the updates version, uninstalled and installed it again, restarted my phone and still nothings. Browser is working fine and I can access it that way.

HARDLY WORKS WASTE OF MONEY. camera is good if you don't have light bouncing off the camera or units as this can make it misty in night vision. They would be good if the camera was recording more than it was off but sadly in our case it's hardly working when we try and view live it's a blank screen with a Mike. the voice quality is terrible. I honestly wouldn't bother I'm going to see about sending ours back

The app only allows you to view live video. It's great at the live video part but there is no option to veiw recorded video. You have to use the website for that. If you use the website on your phone, you are simply asked to download the app with no option the view any video. Selecting "view as desktop" gives you an interface that is unusable in mobile. Once we can do everything that can be done on the website, this will be a perfect app.
