It allows me to connect the Samsung A152 phone to the Samsung T5 SSD storage. The same password is usable on a computer or a phone. Newer T5's include a USB type C to USB type C cable. Older ones didn't, so I got the proper cable on ebay for $5. A problem with using this app is that there is no eject option on the phone app, just a message that I must reboot the phone after disconnecting theT3/5, or the phone will misfunction. On a computer there is an eject option. Why not on the phone app?

What the heck man? Says no device is connected when connecting to my phone? And now after reading all these reviews I see I'm not the only one having this issue. Why don't you fix this problem Samsung? Or stop selling these! This is bullsh**!

Does not support for unlocking a T7 portable SSD. Does not detect even though I can browse the read only partition on my phone. Seems that a lot of people are upset, this is not what you want for your brand, Samsung

App hasn't been updated since June 2019 - clearly an abandoned project by Samsung. I, like many other customers leaving reviews, *had* expected that if you buy a product, it should at least function slightly in the way it was described. Unfortunately, even though Android can see the drive, the app can't, and therefore fails to detect it or allow for a T7 to be unlocked (correct permissions set).

Don't recognize Samsung T7 touch or T7 standard. Connected on Samsung Note20. Disaster for everyone wanted to have encrypted data between PC and Mobile and do not have Touch bought.

Says the portable ssd is not plugged in when it clearly is. Upon googling it says a portable ssd should have no problem being recognized and navigated through my new Samsung phone.

Thought it would allow me to transfer and manage files right from my Samsung s20 ultra, well that is definitely not the case. After reading the app description I realize the only thing this app is intended for is to update the ssd and to lock or unlock it nothing more. I suppose it does exactly what it was intended. Me being the simple guy I am accidentally deleted 110 photos of my 2yr old twin boys birthday due to this app, I cannot figure out how to retrieve them. Please help me.

Does not work! Copied files to drive from laptop to T7 ssd, plugged into Phone and phone connected and you could see the text files on how to install app.. However once app installed it no longer finds the drive. About as much use as a chocolate teapot. Update... Use same program with 1.0 at end.. Text on unit directs you to wrong version!

Tell me, please. How can a Samsung SSD NOT work on a Samsung Phone? How? Please tell me how this is possible? I'm looking at all the reviews and there is more 1's than anything and not 1 tech support gave everyone an answer why this is happening.....this is the type of things that led people to Apple SMH

Will not recognize T7 when SSD drive when plugged into Samsung Tab S3 tablet. One would think that Samsung devices would play nice with each other. Guess not...
