印光大師 ---《觀音感應靈課　印流通序》

　　觀世音菩薩，愍念眾生之心，不可以言語形容；雖天地父母，未足以喻其少分。善根未種、未熟、未脫者，令其即種、即熟、即脫；應以何身得度者，即現何身而為說法。喻如日麗堯天，萬象咸蒙照燭；春回禹甸，百卉悉荷生成。有感即通，無謀而應。良以菩薩無心，以眾生之心為心，故得遍法界感、遍法界應，悉副彼念，了無差殊也。

　　《觀音感應課》者，俯順世情，令卜休咎，以期同種善根之妙方便也。凡占者，皆須稱菩薩名。如小兒有病，不肯服藥；塗藥于乳，則不服而服矣。菩薩名號如還魂香，若得見聞，宿業自消、宿善自生；以漸至于上追觀音之志事，究竟自利、利他于無既也。

　　茲因徐積餘居士與其夫人，得前明古本，石印千卷以結淨緣，略敘菩薩行慈之意云。
　

【印光大師法語】

　　觀世音菩薩，愍念眾生，尋聲救苦。凡作善事，懇求菩薩，必垂加被，令其得成。若作惡事，亦垂加被，令決不成。以成則造罪墮苦，其苦難救矣。此菩薩之真慈大悲也。

　　欲決疑者，若原供有菩薩像，則於像前焚香禮拜；若無，則即向此課本焚香禮拜。取五淨錢，將香煙上熏過，心中默禱所問之事，按下列之偈，并念菩薩若干聲。將錢在手中搖幾搖，令其次序散亂，然後擲於桌上；按次是幾字幾幕，照課本查是何卦，即得其所示之兆云。

※ 編者按：五淨錢者，即取五枚銅幣，各於其一面，分別寫上「金、木、水、火、土」，平時宜收妥，專作占課之用。

【占卜法須知】

　　昔日唐三藏詣西天取經，值觀世音菩薩曰：汝往西天求教，道途凶惡，緣汝能辨。吾助汝三十二感應靈通之卦，日傳一課，便見當日前途吉凶，禍福無不應者。

　　欲叩，焚香祝禱，用淨錢五文，於香煙上度過，手內擎搖。禱祝偈曰：

「紫金化身千百億　白衣妙相三十二
　稽首圓通自在尊　沙界咸稱大悲主
　南無大慈大悲靈感　觀世音菩薩摩訶薩」

志心念七遍，或三七遍，或一百八遍。叩而念，願賜證明。今虔祈禱；弟子某某，所求某事，未決憂疑；卽於三十二課內，欲占一課。勿順人情，願垂感應﹗
